I've been a customer of Raab's all my adult life, and for the past 4 years been a weekly customer. Traditional old school bakery. Freshly baked, twists, plain or seedy, tin loafs, along with a huge choice of rolls. Jan doughnuts, tottenham cake, Belgium buns, bread pudding and more, just like you remember, great portions and value for money. Sausage rolls, pasties and pies, along with filled rolls bang are bang on. Definitely recommend, friendly and helpful old school staff.

I just love Raabs, the staff are so kind and helpful, I have a beautiful Cairn Terrier so I can’t enter the shop but staff spot me waiting outside and happily serve me! I come lots to buy the large multi seed loaf as it’s the best! I buy it for my family especially my grown up sons, today I bought 5 loaves and will share them out when I see them later. There faces will light up like I have bought them a gold watch! they were brought up on this bread and Raabs cakes , which are great too! thank you Raabs keep going as you’re loved by many , love jess and Olivia (cairn terrier) xxx

Me & my wife have been using this bakers for 12 years now & I can say this is the best bakers in Islington staff are always helpful & friendly best cakes best bread great rolls. Just hope this bakers never closes because that would be a very sad day well done to all the staff you do a fantastic job 👍👍👍👍👍

Huge cakes and rolls so big they'll do you for two meals, always tasty and fresh, and at incredibly decent prices. Also the only place I've ever seen sell proper bread pudding, just like my Nan's ❤️

Amazing bakery and great people. I had a birthday for my kid and needed a cake and some cupcakes. The team at Raab did that in a short notice without hindering the quality which was amazing. Sorry for no pictures, the kids have devoured everything :) 5 stars for quality, service and price!

Today is the first time that I ever went to Raab's and I can honestly say that they are simply the best and now I've had their Bread Pudding and Mini-Jam Doughnuts, they won't be seeing the last of me any time soon. I live in Stokenewington and I definitely will be hoping back on the 73 bus to come back to this wonderful bakery. The Lady who served me today was very friendly and helpful. My dad and I love going to this bakery every Saturday before work. The mini jam donuts and the cinnamon donuts are our absolute favourite! The donut batter is the best i’ve ever tried and prices are extremely cheap. If we could rate 10 stars we would !!!

Really nice old school bakery. They have nice selection of pastries and rolls/bread. I love the Danish pastry ring with almonds, it is amazing! Also, they make sandwiches there and you can choose your own fillings. Everything is very tasty and cheap which is great. Also the staff is very nice there too.

Love this place, huge sandwiches for £3. The staff are great, salt of the earth women who love a laugh. Everything is fresh and re stocked constantly throughout the day. Sausage rolls are hard to resist everyone you visit. Bacon sandwiches are enormous too.

The best bakery in the area. Great selection of doughnuts and other sweet pastry. Particularly recommended at lunch, even if it's a bit crowded, because it's possible to create your own sandwich choosing every ingredient from a big selection of fresh ones. On top of all of this, the prices are very competitive.

An independent, family run, local bakery since 1948. They supply top notch cakes, pastries, and a wide variety of breads and rolls. All fresh baked on the premises, there is always a queue out the door first thing and they are always busy. Inside there is also have a take away sandwich & hot food counter serving all the usual fare, all freshly made. My personal favs are the jam doughnuts, their olive bread and the almond croissants, but whatever you choose, you cant go wrong :-)

This is an independently-run bakery in the heart of Angel Islington. Their bakery goods are sooooo delicious and never disappoint! My personal favs are their custard doughnuts, Portuguese custard tarts, bread and butter pudding slices and the bag of finger rolls for £2! The staff are always really friendly and attentive and always willing to help. Only downside is, because it’s so popular, can get soooo busy (sometimes the queue is outside the door!). But that’s just a testament to how great they are! Whenever I’m in Angel I’m always looking forward to visiting to buy something

Ridiculously generous and over-sized portions (in a good way). I ordered a bacon and cheese bap for 4 pounds and I counted a whole 9 slices of cheddar and 8 rashers of back bacon in my huge bap! Come here if you're hungry and you won't be disappointed

Inexpensive traditional baker. Good range of bread. Also does sandwiches and rolls, including excellent hot bacon and sausage made with bread baked on the premises. You won't get trendy Islington butties here, but you won't pay trendy Islington prices either. Love it.
