One of the nicest little bakeries I have been to! Lovely staff, nice seating inside, good coffee and of course delicious patisserie. We tried the burnt basque cheese cake, coffee crepe cake and mango crepe cake. I would recommend them all. The cheesecake was the highlight. The mango crepe cake was refreshing and creamy. I would recommend a visit to this place.

In response to the Earls Court Road branch. 5 star. Wanted to buy full matcha cake but only 2 slices left. So after the employee called Gloucester Road branch, she even offered to go and collect it after she finished work. I paid and told her I'd collect myself the next morning. Really lovely lady who wanted to do her best for the customer. On collection, the full cake was beautifully boxed and was still chilled after 7 hours stuck in traffic to arrive back in Newcastle perfectly £55 might sound a little expensive but if you try it, I'm not sure you can't put a price on this level of quality and something you'll really enjoy. Even the cat likes 👍 Will be back for more next time. Thank you x.

This is a nice find in Gloucester Road. The Menu poster is clear, prices are reasonable for the area. We dropped in to try their bubble tea. Friendly and helpful staff, cake displays are clean and looks really appetising. We were waved goodbye as we left. The place is clean, equipments used are also well-maintained and wiped clean regularly. Salted caramel and Alphonso mango is nice and refreshing. Short walk from Kensington Gardens.

Their crepes cakes are one of the best in London, but still can't beat Lady M in my opinion, shame there's not one in London. Prices are reasonable, had the pistachio crepe cake and matcha tiramisu, both weren't too sweet which is great for my taste. The matcha latte was alright, it tasted more like green tea than green tea latte (slightly too watery), it has strong green tea favour though.

I am rating the service & quality of the cake. I know we're in a strange time with covid so I'm always happy to order from a small family business. Sakurado is one of them. I have read many wonderful reviews and some mixed reviews but benefit of the doubt, I wanted to give it a go. I ordered the Black Sesame Mille Crepe Cake, as well as the Curry Bun and the Cheese & Edamame Bun. The Black Sesame Mille Crepe Cake was loved. It's a thumbs up for the Curry Bun too. However the Cheese & Edamame Bun was lacking in flavour. It was bland so we're pretty disappointed with it. Another issue I wanted to raise was the delivery part. I placed my order through whatsapp with the owner, Mei, since the delivery charge was excessive on their website as it was calculating it being delivered from one of their furthest hub. I requested for a time slot but I can't and have been advised it will be around 2pm. On the day, 30 mins before 2pm I requested for an update. She replied with "very soon". And when pressed on with "when?", she said she will check. 1hr 20 mins later, still no response and when I asked again, she said "on the way". It didn't arrive until 4.50pm!!!!! The driver apologised for the delay but the owner... not a single word from her. Firstly, the order was not cheap. I even pointed out to her that she has charged me with the incorrect price (£10 less) so I would appreciate that for a small family business, you should value an honest customer. Secondly, not providing a time slot and not advising the recipient nor the customer who has placed the order when the order is out is poor customer services. With such a HUGE delay and never once advised the customer on the day that there's going to be a delay, it is not acceptable. The driver has apologised. Where is the owner's apologies? Never once did she apologise in the messages when I asked her where the delivery was. It was agreed for around 2pm, not almost 5pm! Although the mille crepe cake and the curry buns were nice, I will not place any order with them for delivery again. It was supposed to be eaten in the afternoon but since the delivery didn't arrive till late afternoon (4.50pm). it has ruined the occasion for mother's day.

I like the mille crepe and bubble tea here a lot, the rose and oreo/vanilla are the best, but there are times where I am served a matcha that tastes less fresh, and the bubble tea can sometimes taste a bit too strongly of burnt brown sugar, but I often go towards the end of the say which may be why.

The cakes are absolutely stunning and equally delicious. The desserts are the perfect amalgamation of subtle, unique Japanese flavours and French technique. Visited this past week, as they have only recently moved to this new location the full food menu is not yet available but there is still plenty of yummy cakes to get stuck into. i visited around lunch time and had the mango mille crepe and the green tea tiramisu along with a black sesame latte. everything looked and tasted lovely, i'd never had a mille crepe cake before and it was so soft and delicate and delicious. the Decor is very tasteful and relaxing and i would recommend a visit if you are in the area. i do plan to go back later on with a friend for some afternoon tea when it is available.

Regarding the matcha tiramisu, well, the cream on top is nice , but the biscuit at the bottom is not completely soaked, so it is still dry and hard. We bought slices of cakes for friend’s birthday, out of so many flavours we have tried, the matcha and the purple potato were the best. So do try ‘em. Service wise, hosts are very friendly and you feel like your were a princess sitting there waiting to be served☺️

The location is great if ur in Kensington and it is worth stopping bye for a good Japanese meal. The chocolate crepe cake was very creamy however the crepes were very thin and soft so I couldn’t rlly tell they were there. It was quite mushy but despite that quite good. Such lovely experiences for our first visiting. Very convenient 5 mins walk from Gloucester Road Station. The beautiful female Boss Mei was sooooo thoughtful and highly recommended us the YUZU Mille Crepe when we couldn't decide which flavour we should go for. Me and my friends ordered four slices of Mille Crepe in different flavours: Londons Best Matcha, Yuzu, purple sweet potato and strawberries! All of them are strong flavour, smooth texture, not too sweet and easy to share. I personally love Yuzu and Matcha ones and my friends like the Yuzu and purple sweet potato ones! We also tried their Mango & Matcha Bubble Tea and amazing Japanese liquor! Sooooo satisfied Easter holiday！P.s The store’s decoration and different kinds of traditional Japanese Mille Crepe are soooooo suitable for Instagram foodies who have sweet teeth!

The greatest mille crepe I had in London. It has so many flavors that will definitely have one that fit your taste. Matcha flavor is the must-try flavor and passion fruit flavor will inspire your taste if you prefer something not that sweet. Bailey's Irish cream is another unique flavor that gives you a bit surprise. Purple sweet potato latte and yuzu jelly flavor beverage also taste good. It even has student discount. A good try for sweeties.

The owner of Sakurado is very committed to Japanese cuisine and patisserie. While bento isn't necessarily the main thing for a cafe/patisserie like Sakurado, they were surely of high quality. As for the cakes, they were wonderful. They were all creamy but light. Flavorful but not overpowering. It was definitely a treat!

Great service and hospitality! I was there a couple of days ago with my brother and my mum. We just wanted to find a lovely place where we could enjoy a lovely dessert so we just googled whatever was nearby and since we love Japanese culture, we thought this place would be worth a try. This cake boutique was amazing, the manager/owner was very welcoming. She basically rearranged half of the restaurant so we could comfortably sit down. The cakes were DELICIOUS! Not authentic Japanese ramen and looked nothing like the picture they showed and the description on the menu. Curry looked nice and tasted good according to my bf. Friendly staff but dining area is very small. Would only go back for the cakes, not for their food. And please stop playing loud pop music.

I looked up ‘top cake places in London’ and went through some articles to find a cake for a birthday party. The options were plenty, but I was mesmorized by how Sakurado’s cakes looked in pictures. The day of the party, I went down to the botique on Glouceseter Road to pick up a cake. I was told by one of the waitresses that I had order a cake beforehand, but she was also kind enough to connect me to the owner to see if we can manage to get an order through. Luckily, Mei, the owner agreed to have the cake ready in a few hours and have it sent to my location. The cake I chose was the strawberry short cake and I honestly wanted to dive into it.
