What a fun experience! The time FLEW by. The team (shout out to our host Lily who was amazing!!) provides lots of support and detailed directions, but the pressure of working on a timer makes the competition feel real. My cake was delicious, and I enjoyed the cocktails and the whole experience. 10/10 recommend for a fun, light hearted and sweet afternoon.

This was such a wonderful experience! I would happily do this again. It was really fun baking an item competing against others with a time a limit. We came 1st and won a rose gold cake slicer. The host was very helpful. They switch up what you have to bake every few months. Note: I attended May 2021

Overall it was a fun time, we made a really lovely cake and it was really nice that all of the ingredients were pre weighed. They were very accommodating with our dietary requirements which we really appreciated. The head baker Beth, was friendly and welcoming. However, it would have been beneficial if we were taught how to use a stand mixer. We had never used one before and it caused a lot of issues and then we were tutted at by a cleaning staff member and they looked at us like we were idiots. Items were also missing from our drawers and the staff again tutted at us. The staff were constantly cleaning around us and weren’t particularly friendly at all. At the end it felt like they were forcing us out as they were moving everything and mopping the floors before we could even put our bakes away. It was a nice experience but very expensive for what it was, not worth the £90.

Such a lovely experience! Super fun and a great thing to do. If you enjoy baking or want to do something different for a change well I bet you haven't done this! We had a blast making the Haunted Hud cake. Thanks so much for having us!

We had so much fun doing the Big London Bake! The team are great and do a great job at helping but also giving the time pressure so you really feel like you're on bake off. The 90 minutes literally went by in the blink of an eye. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fun event for a Halloween themed bake off, we booked for a friends birthday. FYI - you enter the venue from the pub next door. The kitchen station and utensils were well cleaned but be mindful that the cleaning sink at the back to wash your hands can become slippery. All the ingredients are pre-weighed and the staff put the food colouring in the buttercream. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful but they could have been a little more energetic. There were several flavours to choose from for the cake but I wish that more time was given for the baking so we did not rush the end. You can also cut up the cake and take it home in your own cake box and bag. All in all i would definitely recommend and I will return. Thanks Big London Bake Off!!

We had a fab time here! It was well organised and so much fun. The 90 mins fly by and you feel the pressure to complete the bake off. Lovely staff, nice venue, and a great business initiative that has been professionally executed. I would thoroughly recommend, and I wouldn’t hesitate booking this again.

My wife and I went here for a joint birthday trip, and it was brilliant! I am not a baker by any standards, but had a great time, with clear instructions and the staff were fantastic and really helpful - especially Beth! We were meant to make a unicorn cake and not sure it looks anything like a unicorn, but it tasted delicious and we had a great time!! Thanks!!

Brilliant experience! 1000% would recommend!Dont worry if you cant bake as its all laid out and simplified so anyone can enjoy it! Every month its a different theme so keep an eye out! It genuinely does feel like the real bake off while you're taking part! The best part of it all is no washing up and you can win yourself some prizes! All cooking stations are socially distanced and cleaned thoroughly when finished with!

Had a fantastic time at the Big London Bake last night, brilliant idea and execution of a bake off type event! The cooking area is huge, with ten well equipped cooking stations, with all ingredients we needed already weighed out and ready to go. This month's theme was the Battenberg cake and we got to get creative with the flavours, colours, and decorations of our cake creation. The team were all very helpful and friendly, and whether you're competitive or just want to have fun, this is a brilliant night out! And you get to take your cake home with you at the end of the night! Can't recommend the Big London Bake enough!

Absolutely awesome day out; I would thoroughly recommend this experience for a date night/ group outing. The staff were welcoming, friendly and made the experience so very enjoyable for a novice baker such as myself! It is clear that they have an genuine passion for the event and were very attentive to everyone there. The atmosphere was relaxed with a little bit of a competitive element, recreating a true GBBO vibe. I left the tent with a big smile on my face and will be definitely returning again in the new year. 10/10.

One pf my favourite activities in London. I've done this a couple of times now and it is great fun! If you're on a date or have people visiting London, its a great activity as a couple or a larger group! Im horrific at baking but the team are super supportive in helping you out and make the whole thing enjoyable and just a good fun! Highly recommended

Megan was a great host, friendly and very supportive with a great sense of fun. The bake off was organised professionally and very safely during these strange times. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and still allowing for you to be creative with the cake flavouring and decorating. I would recommend this to anyone as a great fun thing to do.

Had a great experience here and it really does look like the bake off on tv. Staff were friendly and helpful as well as great activity to do with friends, family or even colleagues! Conveniently located close to the underground and there’s a pub next to it so you can grab a drink to natter afterwards.

Went there with my girlfriend as a date night. One of the best experiences of our life! The place is stunning, The Castle pub on it own is an eye candy, but the gardens decoration makes it a truly special place. The baking tent is spacious and well equipped, we had planty of ingredients available for us. Our knowledge of cooking and baking, I would say its limited but we had so much fun. Chris the head Baker was supper helpful and friendly. We will definitely go back for another bake night in the future! Thank you!

Baking competitively against your mates is an absolute blast, I can't recommend this highly enough. It's also in a secret garden behind the pub, so you can have a cheeky drink first too.

The Big London Bake is a must if you’re a fan of The Great British Bake Off and ever fancied seeing what being in the tent would be like. The location is convenient as you’re right on the doorstep of Tooting Broadway and located in the back of a lovely pub, The Castle, which has loads of great outside space. The item all the bakers are aiming to make changes every month and we had marshmallow cones for our challenge. I would have probably preferred a cake, but it was exciting nevertheless. I now have a newfound appreciation for the bakers in GBBO as the pressure is intense and we weren’t even taking it that seriously! There’s a lot to do in a short space of time and it does get rather hectic. Good teamwork is definitely required. The team running the event were great and gave the right amount of support mostly. However, we had one friend who was alone and I did feel the organisers could have done more to help her during the bake. We did end up with a solid second place and I was very pleased with that result! All in all, a fun event and one I’d recommend. It would be a good option for hen dos, corporate events, birthdays etc.

This is a really good, exciting experience that you can enjoy either as a couple or as a group. You'll arrive and get to pick your work top, then the friendly helpful staff will talk you through your bake, give you hints and tips and advice. Then you'll start baking. We had Marshmellow month and whilst neither me or my partner (we came as a couple), like marshmellow we still gave it a go and actually came THIRD! The staff are really helpful and have a good laugh, the girls and guys doing the washing up and tidying away were also really helpful and friendly. Was really happy with our experience and it felt as though we really were on the bake off. Couldn't recommend this enough to people and would thoroughly advise people to have a go. We may have left some of our marshmellow cones with the staff so they could enjoy it, as we travelled from Southampton to do it and it was gonna be a long time before they got home. Thanks for the great evening and the great laugh and all your hard work and help to make the bake really fun and enjoyable

My Girlfriend is a huge fan of the Great British Bake Off, where I have only seen a few episodes of the very first season. I booked tickets for her and I to do this together for her birthday and a few of her friends got involved. Such a fantastic night and so well organised. we had so much fun creating our bakes and dashing around to get ingredients to customise them. the tent was buzzing with a great vibe and the hosts were excellent, friendly and engaging. In addition to this, The Castle pub (where the tent is located) is an excellent and spacious pub, great for a meal and drinks after your bakeoff experience. great activity for couples, friends and groups.

Great fun, good thing to do as a big group. Went with work as a team celebration and really enjoyed the whole thing. Big thanks to all the people doing the washing up too! Very jealous of the head chef doing the judging, what a job to be eating a load of cake every day. Though some definitely had more tasted for quality than others.. 😋

What a brilliant day! Ended up with a delicious Tart to take home and share with my colleagues at work on the Monday! Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves baking...or just doing something new! The Head Baker Sacha was great, and it's in a cute little pub garden in Tooting so we had some drinks before and after - sadly we didn't win but I'll be going again to fight for the win!
