Matthew is a genius - his cakes are out of this world and you feel each one has his heart and soul within it! Everything is done with love and attention and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend not just his cupcakes but also his celebration cakes - they are beautiful and taste amazing!

Such a lovely owner of this place, i believe he is named Matthew. As soon as i came in i was welcomed with a heart warming smile, you can feel how geniune and kind the guy is, hes energy is beautiful! I came here to try one of his cupcakes, and now i am definetely coming back Saturday to buy more cupcakes for my sons birthday. The cupcakes are absolutely deliciuos and fresh 🙏🔥 I would love to work in a company with this guy, just how humane he is with customers and so kind, i loved him , you dont get this often nowdays, everyone else is like robots! After coming here, i will never go to mainstream coffee shops nomore 😅 Please visit this place little hidden gem ♥️♥️

I've ordered a number of bespoke cakes from Matthew over the years, most recently 12 delicious Pokémon themed cupcakes for my son's birthday. I've never had a cake from Walnuts & Honey that I didn't absolutely love. I highly recommend Walnuts & Honey - Matthew is a fantastic baker and is always so friendly and accommodating. Plus his flavour combinations are inspired!

A hidden gem! My boyfriend told me he never really cared for cupcakes until he tried ones from here. Matthew is super warm and friendly. It's always lovely to pop in after an early morning shift and have a nice chat while picking up some treats. If you are ever in South Norwood, Walnuts and Honey is a must-try! :)

Combo of flavours is awesome and some are limited edition on the day so never know when he will make it again so you have to grab what you can. Such a great local spot. Walnuts & Honey is my new obsession in South Norwood. Firstly, Matthew the owner and creator of all the deliciousness in there is an absolute delight. He’s got a smile that’s infectious and his personality brings so much warmth and happiness to my soul. Secondly, I went in and bought a slice of the apple pie loaf as a treat for myself and holy moly, it was incredible - it was light and airy but packed with great flavour. I would absolutely go back every single day if my waistband would allow it! They do vegan treats AND gluten free treats too, so there’s something for everyone.

Walnuts and honey is a gem of a place. After going into a much larger coffee shop very near by and being totally ignored, I decided to check out walnuts and honey. I am so glad I did. I was greeted warmly before even getting through the door. Plants hang from every corner, the sweet smell of fresh baked cakes and glistening tins of tea all over the place. Beautiful cupcakes and delicious coffee. Enough seating for a couple of people but not really big enough for the that around rush hour. So worth taking a look!

You may not know him, but he has a very particular set of skills, skills that he has built up over a career of baking, he will find you, and he will bake you delicious cupcakes. Genuinely you may think you've had amazing cupcakes, but you haven't unless you've had them here!

He's always playing nice music when Ive been in as well. Really recommend the place but not for large groups obviously. You can find it easily just outside of the main entrance of Norwood Junction station
