C. R.Absolutely brilliant cake! Requested vegan graduation cake and it did not disappoint. Guests said it was the best vegan cake they'd ever tasted and vegans and non vegans all enjoyed and came back for more! Also had cupcakes made which were so intricately designed and so unbelievably yummy! Definitely will be coming here for my future wedding cake! Left over pieces were frozen and still tasted so fresh and delicious after defrosting!
K. B.Johanna made a beautiful three tier cake for our wedding. Each tier was a different flavour: lemon, chocolate & Victoria sponge. All were delicious. There were other options available such as chocolate orange, it was a difficult choice! It was a simple design and she dressed it with fresh flowers. It was perfect :) Johanna is lovely to deal with, very flexible & delivered the cake to the venue on the day. I would highly recommend to others. Thank you Johanna!
E. M.I was extremely pleased with my son’s birthday cake! Johanna did an amazing job and I’ll definitely go back next time we need a professionally made cake. The cake was really good and it looked fabulous. Johanna reproduced the design I requested ( Hot Wheels) with the icing better than in the picture I sent her, the attention to detail was outstanding! It served more portions than I expected as well. Very very happy costumer.

H. R.This is just one of the amazing cakes I have ordered from Johanna at Caketastic creations over the years. No ask is too big. This is a vegan celebration cake and despite the reservations of some guests it was a huge hit with people saying it was the best cake they had ever tasted. We have had birthday/christening and wedding cakes from Johanna and would never go anywhere else. Cannot recommend enough. Look out for the seasonal boxes she does too from easter, halloween and christmas. The cake counter is extra special and reasonably priced if you fancy a weekend treat.

The jam and lemon sponge when down a treat as did the fruit cake on the top layer. The favours you designed aswell. L. H.We booked to have our wedding cake made by Johanna pre covid but had to postpone 3 times thereafter. Johanna was very understanding and flexible.
I feel communication is key for a bride as not hearing back from suppliers can be quite stressful but this wasnt an issue with Johanna as she was always on hand to answer any questions, emails and calls.
The cake itself was beautiful as were the cake pops and cupcakes which were all eaten before the first dance. My only niggle is that after having to postpone and waiting so long, when it came back to confirming the order and selecting our cake flavours we werent offered a sample of each like first time round and it was hard to remember. It would have been a nice touch to have started the process again. However this is minor and the end result of the cake etc far outshone this

Johanna was always my go to for my wedding cake, as I'd seen just how creative she is.
Johanna has been everything plus more during the difficult time. Johanna has been accomadating with our 4 date changes, colour changes etc.
Although our cake was simple, it went down a storm.
Flavour, icing, everything was perfect.
The cupcakes were so special and such a soft little sweet treat.
What a shame I can't eat wedding cake everyday, it truly was delicious.

J.For the last 6ish years I've been getting Jo to make my boys birthday cakes. I find something the boys like on the internet (usually very random) and then send it over to Jo for her to put her own spin on it. She NEVER fails to impress!!! I've found in the past that if you want a beautiful looking cake - you need to compromise on taste. Or if you want a YUMMY cake - it might not look the best or most professional. Jo absolutely combines the two - you WILL get a beautiful cake that tastes A** Amazing. This year, I asked Jo to make my own birthday cake (attached) and it was stunning! I got so many compliments - she really is fantastic!!
Jo also goes to town at Christmas and makes some beautiful little gifts to put in your xmas eve box's or even to give as special little presents.
I will be ordering cakes from Jo until she tells me she's not making them anymore <3

M. C.Early this year in January we met with Johanna to discuss our wedding cake. Johanna was absolutely fantastic she helped us along the way to come to an ultimate cake that was perfect for us, and it was the detail was amazing which she made from photos of our wedding outfits down to our 'L' plates on our backs and holding steeribg wheels (we are driving instructors). The cakes were beautifully made and we had a mixture of cakes for the different tiers. Plus Johanna directed us toward a cutting cake which went down a storm at the reception. I would highly recommend Johanna, she's passionate and cares about the whole experience. Thank you so much and we will be back.

L. H.I have had a couple of cakes from Joanna now, and her cakes are outstanding! I’ve never tasted cakes like them! The first cake was a raspberry ripple sponge, and the second was chocolate fudge flavour (even her flavours are totally different from the norm). I can’t put into words how good they tasted. She works so hard to design and make the cake you want, and does it with ease. They’ve gone down a treat with family members too when we’ve shared cake :) I would highly recommend caketastic creations. A million times over. They’re just beautiful cakes and I will be ordering my cakes from her all the time from now on x

A. G.Saw Caketastic Creations on the way back from Oldham and decided to visit for a 30th birthday cake. Jo was extremely helpful in planning and designing the perfect cake. When I collected the cake, I was so happy with how it looked and the detail that had gone into it. Cut into the cake a couple of days later and it was delicious. Definitely recommend Caketastic Creations and would use again. Everyone was blown away with the design of the cake

The shop is spotless with an open workshop.
Johanna the owner is knowledgeable, imaginative and helpful.

S. W.Johanna created the exact cake we requested for our daughter's wedding last Saturday and delivered it to the venue. Nothing was too much trouble and it was lovely - the lemon tier was to die for! We also requested a plain iced gluten free/lactose free cake which was clearly labelled and covered. Would highly recommend her.

I told her what I wanted the cake to look like exactly and she prepared a detailed design based upon my requirements. She discussed the ingredients of the cake, cost and when the cake would be ready to ensure that the process ran smoothly. When I saw the cake, her attention to detail and passion for baking cakes was evident. It looked so amazing and tasted even better. My boys loved it even more. What made the difference for me was her customer service, as she is a sincere, down to earth and lovely lady to deal with. Extremely professional. It was an elephant themed which was pink, white and grey with an elephant topper, the top tier being chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream and bottom tier being Madeira sponge with Vanilla buttercream & strawberry Jam. Such a friendly and lovely service, would highly recommend good quality cake and tasted absolutely amazing.

G. E.My daughter had the most amazing 9th Birthday party , she loves baking and I noticed caketastic creations we available for cake decorating parties.
Jo brought lovely cupcakes in a box for each child she provided aprons and all the delicious butter cream and icing.
The girls were amazed at making unicorns , crowns and used some fabioulous utensils.
Jo was amazing at showing the children what to do and was calm and so helpful.
All of the children had an amazing time I would recommend a cake decorating party with Caketastic Creations . It was such good value for money the best party my daughter has ever had and believe it or not the quietest!
Which is not an easy job keeping 10 girls quiet they were ingrossed in decorating the cupcakes and following the instructions.
