The natas are below standard for me and overly expensive. Lidi’s natas in my opinion are much better, even Co-ops.
The bacon and cheese croissant was very gooey inside and the bacon was super salty.
The pistachio croissant wasn’t to bad though, defiantly the best item we ordered.

This bakery is everything you could need for a treat day . The slavery and the sweet options are next level . A lot of love goes into these goodies

Went there for the pistachio croissant as I had heard good things about it and not only did it meet my expectations but exceeded them! I also tried a savoury vegan pastry, their cheese balls and their cruffin, all of which were just as tasty. I don’t doubt that The Flat Baker will be a weekly visit for me!

Got the pistachio crossaint and cheeseball in the manchester food and drink festival.
**the cheese ball was amazing and tasted delicious.
**the pistachio crossaint was slightly disappointing. The crossaint itself is great but there was barely any filling inside the crossaint. For £3.50/crossaint I would expect more filling in the crossaint rather than just a small tiny dollop in the middle.

One of the tastiest croissants I’ve had for a long time. Amazing selection of pastries and cakes, can’t wait to go back and try some more. This might be my new favourite bakery in Ancoats.
