Cake box Newcastle cakes are scrumptious. There’s something different about them. The customer service is very professional, they very welcoming and kind. Especially one of the workers I think she’s called anjoom very talkative and friendly. One thing that’s really important is customer service if that’s there anything is nice. So I would recommend this cake box for the best cakes. Go check them out !!!

I'm on my last slice, for the second time.. on the same day 🙈😅 Cakebox has earned ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drove back, couldn't believe how good it was! Especially after I realised it was an eggless slice of cake, that was jaw dropping moment 🤤 The red velvet slice had a perfect sponge, melts in the mouth and the cream between the layers, ohh sooo good, it not only adds to the texture, but also gives a rich, sweet creamy, velvety smoothness to the bite! Highly recommend paying them a visit to treat your sweet tooth.

The cakes look very presentable but they don't really have the wow factor when it comes to taste. Staff are friendly but i think they need to work more on the taste of the cakes give them some real flavour. It could be cheap ingredients unsure. My wife had the strawberry cake and the strawberry was half red half white. I love cakes and a little disappointing

They're quite overpriced. Hit and miss taste wise. I would say if you like lot's of cream then you would like their cakes. Because they are usually covered in it and within the cake layers. The cake part is hit an miss. Sometimes it's nice othee times dry. I prefer their chocolate cake as it's usually more moist. Also their bigger celebration cakes are not all that facy but quite pricey. I wouldn't say they have bad service, I was surprised by some reviews... But I don't recall great service either? Just in an out kinda vibe no small talk... U just pick pay leave so nothing to complain about I guess!

Excellent service. Cake tasted amazing. I didn't catch his name but the gentleman I spoke to helped me with my online order for a next day collection for my daughters 1st birthday cake smash. I was warned the buttercream would stain which I fully expected however a little bit of asda oxy vanish brought it straight out. Will definitely order from here again 👍

Very nice customised cake; taste and presentation were impeccable. Sadly, the price seemed quite excessive -- hence the reluctant three stars (I desperately wish I could have given them a five stars review). Unfortunately, as there is no competition to their customised cakes, I anticipate the prices remaining high. The service and attitude of the lady that served me was very decent and professional. I'm unlikely to consider returning anytime soon unless their customised cake(s) becomes a necessity -- in which case I will need go out of no choice.

Would like to share my views on my experience shopping at Cake Box in Newcastle. I first shopped at Cake Box with my granddaughter several months ago, she has a severe egg allergy and I just wanted her to experience being able to go into a shop and choose any treat of her choice. In general she is very limited to making any decision of her own and sifting through labels of ingredients in supermarkets is timetaking and also stressful when she is told the contents contain egg products. On her first visit to Cake Box she could not believe she could make her own choice and it was well worth the travel from Sunderland to Newcastle just see her face. Since then we have made the journey several times, mostly to shop for cakes for all family Birthdays so that she can enjoy sharing the celebration cakes along with her family. All the cakes look lovely so it's always difficult to choose and we have been delighted on every occasion because the cakes are fresh and delicious. We have tried both the Victoria sponge and Chocolate cakes, the cake itself is perfect, neither too moist or too dry and they are beautifully decorated. I would like to thank all of the Staff who I have found very courteous and helpful, they go out of their way to decorate and personalise the cakes for you. I will definitely be returning to the shop for all family birthday cakes and also calling in for occasional treats of cupcakes and/or cake slices. I would definitely recommend a visit here but be prepared as all the cakes look lovely and it's a difficult choice.

By far the best cake company I’ve ever used. I was let down last minute by another cake supplier and was panicking I wouldn’t get a cake in time for my daughters christening. I googled companies and 4 days before the christening came across these guys. I couldn’t believe they could make one at such short notice but they did. No problems at all. The cake was by far the best I’d seen and most cost effective (not to mention tasted lovely!). Would definitely use them again at the next big occasion. 5* from me.
