Superb as always. For Christmas I purchased a Cupcake & Co Christmas Pudding (Stout and brandy-soaked dried fruit, candied peel, ground almonds, sourdough breadcrumbs and aromatic spices) - knowing how good their savoury and sweet offerings always are I knew we wouldn’t be disappointed! On collection the pudding was wrapped in the gorgeous style that is Cupcake & Co and even came in it’s own enamel bowl! Now I am not a Christmas Pudding - always find them too rich / dense and heavy - but hearing the ooos and aahhhs from my guests who all said it’s the best pudding they’ve ever had!; I tried some and I have to say I enjoyed it also! Rich yet light and airy! Cupcake & Co may have just converted this non Christmas Pudding eater!!

Each week they have provided us with beautiful cakes, inclusive for a range of dietary requirements (inc vegan & gluten free). Had a birthday cake made for my wife’s 50th and I’m so happy with the result. Anne was incredibly helpful with flavours and designs as well as catering for a dairy free cake. The result was amazing. Amazing Mochas (best in Norwich!) really good wide selection for vegan and GF treats which I honestly can’t tell the difference between what is special dietary requirement and what is “full fat”. <Edited> I am a huge fan of this little gem and try an squeeze in a visit whenever I am in Norwich! Their sausage roll is tasty, squidgy lemon brownie is drool worthy and a display which will make you add time to your commute as you have to stop and admire the refined sugar delights! The staff are also amazing 😊 Although we were offered a free brownie to re-review, it was not needed as we are massive fans regardless. I recently tried a slice of the chocolate vegan cake and it was, hands down, the best vegan chocolate cake I have ever tasted! The only slightly let down has been the s’mores brownie where the brownie couldn’t keep up and be compatible with the brownie beneath it, but everything else has been great. I look forward to trying a big vegan cake for my sisters or mums birthday soon!

Visited this beautiful place today for the first time ever and was soo impressed!! From the moment we started browsing to the moment we left our experience was really positive. The choice of cakes and yummy treats was excellent but the choice for gluten free was brilliant too, so much more than the usual 1 brownie option that most places offer. So much so we had to buy 3 different types of cake just to make the most of the available choices :) The gentleman who served us took great care and patience to explain the gluten free choices and handled them on new plates and in isolation to other items which gave us such confidence he was taking our coeliac allergy seriously, which makes the world of difference. Not only that but he served us with such a welcoming, friendly smile and conversation. It made the whole experience there even more enjoyable. He was just a bubble of loveliness! The shop is beautiful and the cakes are so incredibly tasty and reasonably priced. Cannot wait to return! Xxx

Upper St Giles street has a selection of the very best coffee shops and deli's in Norwich. Its quality and reputation is such, that if the street were magically transposed to London, Paris or New York it would be a favoured hangout of those stalwarts of great talent and good taste: Meghan Markle and Melania Trump. Norwicians however, bring their own sprigs of glamour to Upper St Giles Street. Some regulars i believe, are on vague nodding terms with Charles Clarke and even I, by a rare stroke of good fortune, once had the honour of shaking hands with Margaret Beckett. Of all the excellent places in this wonderful street, the best is one that is so small it is possible to pass it by without notice. It is a small, unapologetically pink little shop called; Cupcake & Co. It does beautiful cakes that effortlessly master the difficult trick of tasting even better than they look. And the sandwiches, coffees etc are exquisite. As for the staff, they are efficient, pleasant and sincerely friendly. Try it and you will pity Meghan and Melania, as they live so far from Norwich and have nothing quite like Cupcake & Co to pleasure their palate and add a little joy to their day.

I had been let down by another cake producer and had less than 7 days to find someone who could design, bake and decorate a suitable cake for a 70th Birthday within a week. It needed to resemble a large round Pink or Yellow Licqourice Allsorts sweet with smaller Licqourice Allsorts spilled over the top and down the sides without looking like it had been made by machine. I looked online, saw Cupcake & Co and read the reviews. I drove straight there and spoke to Anne who kindly agreed to save the day. This was the result a few days later even though her order book was full. The Chocolate sponge and Chocolate cream filling was moist and delicious. The pink icing was soft like whipped cream, but not sickly sweet. The Birthday Boy was happily speechless because he loves Licqourice Allsorts. The entire group of family and friends enjoyed their huge slices of the cake and there was still enough to supply those who couldn't attend the party. Highly recommended! 100% satisfied! Superb service! The first of future orders!

I've bought celebration cakes, posted brownie gifts, home delivery items and shopped in-store with Cupcake & Co over the last 7 years or so. Ann and her team pour their hearts and souls into their beautiful creations, and anyone who has tasted their cakes knows how heavenly they truly are!! I was particularly delighted when Ann created a nut free carrot cake, which caters for my own dietary requirements. Awesome little shop full of cakey goodness! I had been saving myself for Cupcake and Co. treats for my birthday a few weeks ago. I made the trip in to collect a variety of cupcakes, cakes, scones and cookies to suit all of my families wishes. Soooo good. My mum is a master scone taster and said the fruit scone was best she'd ever had! Kids came home from school to an afternoon tea with the red velvet and Oreo cupcakes 😋. I’ve had two celebration cakes made by the amazing Ann, they taste incredible! She is so good at what she does as-well as being such a down to earth lovely lady. You say what flavours you would like or design and they will be made to order for you! In store she has freshly made cupcakes, brownies, cakes and coffees. Fabulous!!! I ordered a LOL doll cake having seen one on their website. It was absolutely fantastic. The decoration was superb and the quality of the cake sublime. They dont use cheap fondant icing but PROPER butter cream, make with PROPER butter. It was delicious. They even sent me a cutting guide to help as the cake could have been difficult to cut for 10 people. I couldn't recommend them more and will certainly be back again.
