We could not recommend Sassa’s Cakes more! Thank you so much for creating such a stunning and very delicious cake for our wedding in May 2022. Everyone was so supportive in our day being postponed, and created a stunning design that was exactly what we’d hoped for! The cake itself was also absolutely delicious! All the flavours we tried in our trial were moreish and tasty! But the flavours we chose in the end of Orange and passion fruit, Black Forest and Coffee and Kahlua went down a treat and all our guests commented on how lovely the cake was! Thank you for creating such a wonderful design and cake for us! We could not recommended you more highly!

Sassa's bespoke cakes made our wedding cake and it was incredible. Giles and Debbie were incredibly helpful throughout the process of designing the cake, sending tasters out for the flavours and organising delivery as well as logistics with cake stands etc. We had a 3 tier cake, with a different flavour in each tier - our guests loved it and I'm glad there was a little leftover for us to eat in the days after the wedding. Beautiful cake and lovely people, would recommend to anyone.

We booked Sassas Cakes for our wedding day and we are so glad we did! We went to a wedding fair initially in Newmarket way back in January 2017! The minute we saw their display we knew we wanted our cake to be made by them. We were going for a woodland rustic theme and Debbie designed us the cake of our dreams and included our pet Alfie! There were so many compliments on the day and guests didn’t realise it was a cake as it looked so realistic! The finished look was outstanding and could not have booked a better place! The flavours offered were vast and tasted absolutely amazing, We went for orange and passion fruit, Black Forest, and red velvet! All tasted absolutely delicious! Sassa's Bespoke Cakes were so wonderful to deal with from start to finish - they created our dream wedding cake and we couldn't have been happier! From sending out the samples to helping us choose the correct size to feed all our guests, nothing was too much trouble. Designed and created an amazing Alice in Wonderland themed cake for my wife's 40th birthday. great communication throughout despite event being postponed and then eventually downsized from original plans. great tasting cake as well as looking awesome. We went for Salted Caramel and also a Chocolate Orange cake. Delivered perfectly to our home. Really impressive cake design, baking and decorating with exceptional customer service throughout. Our wedding cake was a masterpiece! Not only that, Sassa's were a total pleasure to deal with. We went 2 tiers of cherry bakewell and black forest, covered in yummy white chocolate ganache, with cascading ganache flowers to match our colour palette. It tasted incredible, and was just so beautiful! We were over the moon to have some left :)

Debbie produced the cake for our wedding at Oxnead Hall on 19th August 2017. Her stand at the EDP wedding fair was absolutely jaw-dropping, and it made every other cake maker we'd seen, before or since, look like total amateurs. To make it even better, the cake samples were delicious, and offered us a fantastic range of flavours. We knew from the moment we met her that she was the right supplier for us, and she delivered absolute perfection. The craftsmanship was impeccable, the colours were perfect, and every single person that saw the cake, including the staff, said it was the best wedding cake they had ever seen. Everyone that ate it commented on how delicious it was, even those who were getting a slice a couple of weeks after the wedding. We cannot praise Sassa's Cakes highly enough, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a truly outstanding cake for any occasion!

Sassa's Bespoke Cakes were recommended to us by Kiera at Applewood Hall. We wanted to add a woodland-themed cake to our micro-wedding in May, which only had 10 people attending. Initially we'd wanted cupcakes to serve to the small number of guests, but this wasn't possible at the time. Instead, we discussed having a more traditional cake with Giles at Sassa's and he was able to advise on the size, design and so on. He kept us updated throughout, even though we had quite a short turnaround before the wedding. We decided to go for something slightly larger so that we could have a two-tier cake, which meant we ended up with some left over after the wedding - not a terrible situation! The cake itself was stunning; it was exactly as we'd imagined, even though we asked for unusual additions like an "angry owl" perched on the side. The colours and general design of the cake were perfect too. Sassa's also supplied mini cake boxes for our guests to take away their slices, since we weren't having an evening reception and everyone would have been full from the wedding breakfast. Overall it was a very positive experience and we were extremely happy with the care and attention to detail that was put into the cake. We were worried that having a small cake would mean compromising on details and design, but that wasn't the case at all. Giles and the team at Sassa's cakes are fantastic and we definitely recommend them for anyone considering the same sort of event as us!

Giles and Debbie created our PERFECT wedding cake! We had a three tiered gold / white ombré effect with cascading roses. We selected lemon, salted caramel and chocolate oreo for our layers and each was utterly delicious! The attention to detail and match to our criteria were second to none. Giles and Debbie were completely accommodating and supportive to us, after needing to alter our sizing due to a reduction in guests due to the Covid guidelines. I would strongly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Sassa’s! Our guests were HUGELY complimentary!

Sassa Cakes were hired originally for a 2020 wedding but then due to covid we needed to postpone my clients wedding to August 2021. Throughout the enquiry, booking and postponement they responded promptly to my emails . On the day we had some challenges with flies in the marquee and an eager dog eying up the cake! They thought "outside" the box and wrapped the cake in clingfilm to ensure no flies came into contact with it. I then "unwrapped" it half way through dinner. I can confirm in 19 years I have never had to do this but we didn't want flies landing on the cake so this was an ideal solution. And THIS is what makes a phenomenal supplier, someone who thinks "what can I do" instead of delivering then walking away. The 2021 wedding season is completely crazy with suppliers working flat out but none of this showed with their communication nor delivery. As a customer, I was appreciative of the professional standard they upheld. I've organised hundreds of weddings over the years and I can spot a professional, and Sassa Cakes are definitely a supplier you can trust

Overall my experience was good. I dealt with Kayleigh via email mostly but I felt that my wedding cake really lacked flavour and was dry. When I attended a tasting day I chose Black Forest based on the lovely flavour but my wedding sponge to me seemed like cheap chocolate flavour and there wasn't much Cherry Jam in which was really disappointing. The cake did look nice but I wanted to eat it and really enjoy it as I love cake. Sadly most of it was left untouched by guests and myself.
