Absolutely delicious food.
We had homemade quiche, rotisserie chicken and dripping potatoes. The gravy was out of this world, phenomenal.
We also took a sourdough loaf, croissant and chocolate brownie, all of which were delicious. Sourdough was the best we have had in a very long time.
If it wasn't such a drive for us, we would be back every time we needed bread!

Amazing place, such beautiful food to eat in and goods to take away. The staff cannot be more helpful and friendly. They juggled up one of the mains today to suit out diet, see photo, this followed sumptuous lentil and fennel soup! Well done, fantastic lunch!!

Lovely interior, great atmosphere and dog friendly. It was a busy morning when we were there and we waited quite a while for our coffee. It's a shame because I really wanted to enjoy my pastry with the coffee together. My partner had an almond croissant which he found was a little overcooked and dry and wished the filling was more. I had a pain au Chocolat which was delicious, though I also wish the filing was more. I ate half way to reach the lovely dark chocolate inside.

We had dinner here last night and it was fantastic. Food was excellent, setting was lovely and staff were attentive. Thank you!

Such a special place! And wow. Best meal we’ve all had for ages - in London and Norfolk. Been here a few times for coffees and pastries - and the evenings are just as great. Strong wine list. Beautifully fresh, local and interesting dishes, that pair well and are great for sharing. I went with veggies and vegans who particularly enjoyed the pickled beetroot, mozzarella, asparagus and the fava chips. Thanks for looking after us all so well, and I can’t wait to go back and try the chicken.

Turned up without booking. Received a warm welcome. We shared small plates with friends. The food was fresh, delicious and well presented. The recommended wine was very good and local beer fro Holkham was enjoyable. The desserts were delightful . Overall the experience was excellent and this definitely includes the staff. We can't wait to return.

Best meal we’ve had in months- plus brilliant, efficient, and professional service, and modern, cool building. London style quality and vibe without the pretentiousness.
We have been for pastries and coffee before (which are exceptional and there is honestly nothing like it in Norfolk) but this was the first time for an evening meal and we were not disappointed. Every single course was delicious- even the olives were amazing! I am also severely allergic to gluten and dairy and the staff were very knowledgeable and made me feel totally at ease, and even whipped me up a special desert on the spot!
So refreshing to have somewhere with an interesting menu, top quality local produce with sustainability in mind, and a young and talented team behind it. We will DEFINITELY be back.

Incredibly talented & hardworking team producing the finest sourdough bread along with a range of delicious morning goods, pastries, cakes and savouries. Honestly, this bakery is a ‘must try’ if you’re in the area and is well worth a special visit to stock up if you’re further afield. Why not stay for coffee or lunch? Alongside the bakery is an exceptionally creative kitchen team offering seasonal, locally sourced ingredients which are crafted into mouthwatering delights. This is an authentic working kitchen with a small changing menu offering lunch and early evening supper. Order from the bakery or book the restaurant in advance to avoid disappointment.

Great food and very friendly staff. We tried almost every dish on the menu, couldn't fault any of it. My favourite was the Fava bean chips. As a dedicated meat eater I was concerned that I would not enjoy the veggie dishes, however, not the case, I enjoyed the vegetarian dishes as much as the meat dishes. My husband particularly enjoyed the ale. on our way out bought bread for breakfast the following day, which was also good. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

We had a delicious evening meal here - fantastic veggie options (we found it hard to choose what to go for!) and were disappointed that we were too full to try a pudding. Staff very friendly and accommodating with our dog too. Would love to return. Special mention to the gazpacho starter and of course the bread.

We visited Siding for a morning treat and coffee. The coffee was lovely but took a while to arrive. The croissant was dry and was only really enjoyable by dipping morsels in the coffee before eating. I returned my pain aux raisin as it was dry and tough, no sign of crème patisserie, sadly. Guys on the counter very courteous about my request for refund, baker on the other hand quite confrontational initially and then slapped refund on our table without a word; awkward….

Excellent fun place with a great buzz - would highly recommend / could eat everything on the menu / best coffee in the area / we also bought bread /local walnuts and ‘award winning’ mince pies!! Bottle shop next door also worth a visit

Came here for my birthday treat meal while on short break in holt.
The starters were delicious / very fresh mackerel pate - yum.
Had the chicken following Tim Kinnaird’s recommendation. It was delicious
However needed a large doggie bag as looking back maybe we shouldn’t have had starters! Also brought back 2 deliciously naughty pastries.
The whole meal was just great. And my glass of wine was on the house as it was my birthday.
Thank you for a memorable evening .

It is all change. Whilst the wonderful bakery produce is still available from Siding in the morning, there is now a fully fledged restaurant operating in the converted railway building. Some amazing pasta dishes, lots of beautiful salads, rotisserie free range chicken, soup, salami and toasted ciabatta. The drinks list includes wines and beers, along with soft drinks. Absolutely worth a visit, as very reasonably priced for amazingly fresh and seasonal produce.

Very good coffee, and delicious bakery goods. Reasonable prices. Probably the nicest coffee and pastries I’ve had in a cafe/bakery in the UK. Friendly staff, clean and simple interior. Highly recommended.

Lovely pastries but they open for breakfast at 10.00 - I assume they like a lay in. Big que of customers before they opened. None the less very good food.

Just shared semlor lenten buns with a friend. Absolutely delicious. Light as a cloud and such a treat. Hope there'll be be something special for Easter. Best ever sourdough loaf awaiting butter later. Thank you. Hope we don't lose such a talented baker.

We were recommended by a local caravan dealer to go here. A very clever new use for the building, good service, coffee great and served in lovely mugs. A good selection of eats and local produce to buy. We liked it very much

A beautiful space with high quality pastries, bread, as well as fresh made pasta made with passion and skill. If you’re local or in the area it’s well worth the trip. To have such a place in this part of Norfolk is to be treasured!

Absolutely delicious bread and patisserie. Have tried white and brown sourdough, baguettes and ciabatta. All 'proper' bread, great textures and flavours. Croissant, pain au chocolate, brioche and morning buns delicious too! I only recently discovered this place but so far every time I have been they have had a great selection. Friendly service too. Highly recommended.

The best sourdough bread and croissants I have ever had, and this week wonderful Semlor buns. I hope we don't lose this skilled Baker.

Best pastries in Norfolk bar none, eating one as I type this! Actually it's all brilliant frankly. It's tucked away so easy to miss, maybe get some signage up!
