Got a lovely gluten free cake for my son's 18th birthday, he's type 1 diabetic, and celiac. So quite hard to get something nice for diabetics, but found this place. Beautifully moist gluten free cake that even my fussy 13 year old, whose not a diabetic, loved. As you can see from the pic. Lol. Highly recommend trying them. Thanks bakerdays.

We ordered a full photo party cake for dad's 80th birthday. Charlotte at BakerDays was incredibly helpful. She produced a 3D mock up of the design with text in a colour that wasn't available in the customer facing tool. Communication throughout was excellent, the order arrived on time and was securely packaged. The cake itself looked and tasted fantastic. My dad loved it. I made a mistake with the cake I ordered so contacted customer service. Not only did Isobel fix my mistake in a very friendly manner but she used her initiative to make the design even better! Bakerdays communication for deliver was fantastic. They sent me an email the day before to confirm delivery, then on the say they confirmed what 1hr time slot is was being delivered in. Fantastic service! The taste of the was delicious. Moisture and sweet without being too sweet (Victoria sponge) My only comment would be, if you do a small cake with lots of small photos on, it will look quite pixelated. But that’s my bad for doing an image compilation on a small cake. However it’s fine if you are getting the cake for a bit of fun. I think if I put one photo on the cake (rather than lots of small ones) it would look less pixelated. Hope that makes sense. Overall would definitely recommend and I am looking forward to trying their other flavours!

I cannot fault Bakerdays, this company is fantastic. The delivery was on time and the cake looked and tasted fantastic. The packaging of the cake to ensure its safety in transit was brilliant (and this cake had a two hour drive). The cake was fully intact when it arrived. Excellent customer service from Talli who was great in helping me with altering the cake size and arranging an earlier delivery date. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

Bakerdays’ photo-cake delivery service has been a delightfully personalised way to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions for my family and friends, and their customer service team are very quick to respond with advice or solutions to problems. The cakes are not only very attractive and tasty, but also beautifully presented in colourful tins with careful packaging so that they arrive in perfect condition. The process of designing your own cake by editing the text and uploading a photo is usually very straightforward, but when I occasionally had problems with it, I was simply invited to email the details and the photo to Bakerdays’ wonderful in-house design team, and they finished it for me at no extra cost, notifying me within hours that the finished product was in my basket ready for checkout. Although Bakerdays offers a huge range of shapes & sizes of cake, along with party accessories, I usually send a “letterbox cake” which has always been very well received as an enjoyable edible alternative to a card. Prices are very reasonable considering that tracked delivery is included, and there are often generous discounts available. I am one very satisfied customer!

I ordered a gluten free “letterbox” birthday cake. Very well decorated and served its purpose as a surprise celebration cake which we could put a candle on. I only gave it 4 stars because the cake itself was solid, I know gluten-free is difficult but this was not enjoyable. Overall I’m glad I ordered it as fulfilled the surprise and appearance and as it was a 2-4 serving it wasn’t too onerous to finish it

I was trying to source a birthday cake for my Husband’s 70th from local bakeries, but for one reason or another could not get one. I decided to go online and I came across this website. The cakes looked absolutely fantastic and as my Husband likes all things nautical, I was made up to see one with a lovely picture of harbour boats. I would have given this a 5star review but for the delivery. The DPD delivery should have been between 8.30-12.30 (paid £12 for this slot) and he did not turn up. Couldn't get anything conclusive from the tracking, so rang Bakerdays to try and sort this situation. They were lovely and apologised and deducted the delivery charge from the bill and sent another 21st cake out for the next day and it arrived this time! Just as well I ordered the cake the day before her actual birthday! I was impressed with their response and professionalism and the cake was absolutely delicious. I ordered a cake, balloon and card for delivery, we had an issue where the card didn’t arrive and within less than an hour after my initial email I’d spoke to a member of staff and a new card was sent out (and arrived within a couple day’s). Wow. I ordered my Grandson's birthday cake and until it arrived I was quite stressed to say the least about the condition of the cake when it was delivered to me. The delivery man arrived, I asked him to come in while I unwrapped the cake, telling him how worried I was about it. Well I need not have worried at all. It was perfect. There was no damage to the cake at all, it was perfectly wrapped. The photo on the cake came out really well. It looked exactly as it did on the picture on the order form. Then it was time to taste the cake. Also perfect. One of the nicest sponges I have tasted. The only negative was the price but if it is a special occasion it is very well worth it. Absolutely brilliant service First of all, 24hr turn around. Ordered on Friday morning, by mid day it was on the door step. Excellent. I opted for a Gluten Free cake for my wife, having tasted many GF products I was a little worried, but the cake tasted just like cake should. Really good. Nice and spongy, wasn't dry, brilliant. To those apprehensive about delivery the cake is well, well, packaged. It has plenty of security to keep the cake still, plenty of bubble packs as well. The cake was fresh as a daisy and they claim will remain fresh for two weeks if stored as instructed. Yes, it was a bit pricey, but actually it was worth it. Local cake makers were giving daft prices and some even refused. Their loss. I will actually come back to this site again. I think. I was in a hurry at the time and this was my last chance saloon, and they did the trick better than expected. Thank you.

You can order in advance (which I do for my sons birthday that’s on Christmas Day) and delivery even at a busy time like that is absolutely brilliant! Fantastic experience. I was desperately looking for a last minute cake for my son's 5th birthday. He wanted a Ninjago one so it had to be specific. I was a bit sceptical about the various photo-cakes as they usually have very thin icing and they end up pretty bad. The cake we ordered from bakerdays was FANTASTIC! It looked perfect and it tasted great. We chose half chocolate half vanilla and it was super tasty. As for the customer service, I have no words. They replied super fast and they were ready to take the extra steps to accommodate for my requirements. Wonderful and polite, these people deserve a big thank you. Ordered on a Wednesday evening for my daughters fifth birthday and the cake arrived on the Friday morning just as advertised. We ordered a cake with picture on it, found it hard to angle the picture as they all came out sideways, eventually found a picture that was the right way up. Cake came with a nice block/stand and a cutter which was a nice touch. Cake looked beautiful and cut nicely but would say tasted on par with a shop bought cake. I ordered a unicorn cake for my daughter's 7th birthday party & was a bit sceptical about it arriving in one piece having never ordered from an online bakers before. I needn't have worried as the cake was delivered so well protected in the box. I got an update on the morning of delivery from DPD of the delivery slot. One small complaint, I knew I wasn't going to be home so had left instructions online for it to be delivered to my neighbour. However, the driver chose to leave it outside my house by the front window! My daughter was delighted with the cake, it was just what she wanted & it tasted delicious. Will definitely be using bakerdays again.

The recipient of the cake was very splease, very nice texture, not too strong. Chocolaty flavour was noticed even my a chocoholic. I was a bit disappointment with the pattern, it was a big smudged. You could see a stencil was used and not a bespoke icer but I guess the cost if the gift justivies that.

They left it on the front step and told me by email it had been left in a safe space. Great Personalised cakes with speedy delivery Usually get a local lady to make a cake but had left it too late, so found this site and loved the way you could personalise the cake and cupcakes, with text, photos and colours. Great choice of designs and the cakes tasted really good as well. Fruitcake full of cherries and lovely and moist. The cupcakes were gone within minutes..... The only issue was the 2 separate deliveries.... had a panic thinking I wasn't getting the cupcakes but very helpful customer services team, sorted it out. Will definitely use them again.

Great cake but unfortunately they did not send the balloon I ordered. I was refunded for the balloon and offered a goodwill voucher for 20% off another purchase but the voucher code didn't work. I made another purchase anyway and let them know about the voucher not working. I got a corporate sounding line about the "terms and conditions" meaning I could not be retrospectively refunded for the voucher. I understood what they were saying but that sentence created a terribly unhuman impression of the company which was disappointing as my previous experiences dealing with them had been positive overall.
