We were looking for somewhere to dine between the car park and the theatre before the performance. This certainly ticked all the boxes. Wide selection of Italian, roast dinners, beef burgers, Indian, Chinese and sushi bar not to mention the extensive dessert selection. The staff were very helpful with their instructions and cleared our plates once they were empty. My only criticism was the beef on the Chinese section was a little chewy, but the rest of the food that I tried was delicious. Next time I am in the area, I will definitely be going back to this place.

Lots of choice, something for everyone's taste, me, partner, and daughter went on NYE, got ticket validated so got 25% off parking. It was good value we thought. You can get starter main and dessert all included 😋 in the all u can eat price. We will definitely be going again as we really enjoyed the food.

Not been here for ages (before COVID) and it was just as good as we remembered. The fresh cooked food from the Tapenyaki station was incredible and the biggest good was great too. The puddings were delicious and an incredible variety.
Service was quick and friendly. A really great meal out for the family

Absolutely amazing. Staff were brilliant and the food is to die for. So much selection!! Good choices for pescetarians and veggies but not recommend for vegans.

We really like Cosmo Restaurants and we are going there anytime we have the occasion. Now due to Covid I saw that the food was quite limited comparing with before Covid, but still good and fresh. The desserts are magical ✨. Between each table you can see social distancing protecting screens (Plexiglas).
V. P.
Good variety of foods. Most of them are the cheap versions e.g. cucumber sushi. But overall they are tasty and and nicely presented.

Very good selection of food Chinese Indian English sushi and unbelievable desserts. If you're a big eater for the price you will love it 👍🏼
Z. C.
Definitely the best buffet restaurant I've ever been too, all the dishes I tried were incredible, 3 happy adults and 2 happy children!! Plenty of variety and all delicious 😋 staff were friendly and helpful too

This is a pretty amazing place to eat. The price feels like a lot at first in comparison to other local buffets. However if you think what a three course meal would cost each person, you soon realise it’s a very reasonable price.
Bottomless fizzy drinks are available which you refill yourself from a drinks machine. Huge choice of dessert items.
Meal wise there’s sushi, Chinese, Indian, roast dinners, burgers and pizzas, salads
The only Two points I have to make: there’s no soup. Which was disappointing as all of our dinner party love Chinese soups. Not a massive negative just curious why not when there’s far more complicated dishes on the menu. The other point I I wouldn’t touch the sweets near the ice cream machine, we were sat in clear view of them and saw numerous kids using their hands to pick them up. One child approx six or seven was even picking one up, sucking or licking it, then grabbing at another, touching several more in the process. No idea why the parents, who were stood with the child, didn’t tell them to stop and use the utensils. Disgusting behaviour which is in no way the fault of the restaurant at go all, but yeah - don’t go near the cola bottles and other sweets.
The desserts are out of this world. Usually there places skimp on desserts and use Cheap cakes etc. not Cosmo! The quality and range are amazing. There’s surely something for everyone here.

Good choice of food, including whole salmon fillet, pizza, roast dinner, salad and sushi.
It was very crowded, with only some tables having dividers.

We came as a party of 6 and had a really good experience. 95% of the food was really nice and was always replaced quickly when it was running low. Staff were friendly and the service was really good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because 2 of our party decided to have a burger. The bun was very dry and hard like it had been left out all day and the actual burger didn't taste very nice. Apart from that everything else was really good.
D. A.
Fantastic place, good food! Unfortunately some people who come don't worry about good hygiene practices, nothing to do with Cosmo. Also had a long wait for the till, need more locations.
G. B.
For a buffet, the food quality is second to none. The service for taking plates away and serving drinks is top notch and the VFM is really high. Would recommend.
J. L. J.
Very nice place for a meal a large are of tables clean and staff are friendly. a good verity of fo

Comfortable environment, and the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. The greeter completely ignored us when we entered, and it was hard to get her attention. The buffet was overpriced and underwhelming. Lots on offer, but perhaps too many different cuisines to do any one particularly well. Most things were bland and tasteless, and not very good quality. Security guards were rather rude, and stank of weed! Not the worst buffet i've ever been to, but wouldn't go again.
M. H.
Another good visit, staff are really polite but sometimes hard to flag down. Food was regularly replaced so we could have plenty of what we wanted.
Needs better policy for kids as the dessert section is regularly being trashed and they fly about the place trying to take out diners.
All in all a really enjoyable experience for my birthday meal. 8/10

Imagine a buffet breakfast, similar to Travelodge or Premier Inn hotels but with main meals instead of breakfast - that's pretty much what you're getting here. It was good and we enjoyed it, I'd recommend it for groups and parties as there is something for everyone, I'd definitely recommend booking and suggest going earlier as they close just after 9pm.
Only downside is that you do spend some time on your own if you're in a small group due to people being repeatedly and necessarily away from the table to select more food.
Good variety, reasonable prices, clean environment and a good encouragement to follow Covid guidance. Pleasant service. I would go again.
They offer student and blue light card discounts.
フ.
Their dessert is tasty, but sadly main courses are too salty for me.

Great Buffet, lots of different cuisines including sushi, Chinese, Italian, Indian, British and a variety of desserts.
It was slightly chaotic getting around all the food stations and back to your table, due to the sheer number of people traveling in different directions.
Drinks are now ordered at your table. Service is incredibly rapid. Finished plates do not hang around on the table.
Lots of different dishes are available to try, so you can go for small pieces of everything or bigger plates of your favourites.
The two restaurant photos were taken just before we left, when it was a lot quieter.
K. W.
Lovely space, well laid out, staff were all friendly. It is at the end of the day a buffet, so some of the food was dry and overcooked from being out for god knows how long. A wide selection of cuisine to try however because there was so many different types, what was in each section was limited. There is also a 90 minute time limit for being there so it felt a little rushed, but I suppose if you want a leisurely sit down meal you go to a restaurant, not a buffet.
I. M.
First time i have been. It was very busy but we got a table. Great selection of foods available and i have to say the quality of the food was superb. All dishes were being regularly refreshed, presentation was good. Prices seemed fair to me, though the payment and exit process i found strange! Pay in one place and the a security guard checking you've paid before allowing you to leave.
D. M.
Very good, huge variety of foods available and the ones that I tried were all nice. Waiters are very fast to clear up the table so you don’t have multiple plates on the same table. Not too expensive and a good experience
M. S.
Buffet restaurant loads of choices I particularly liked the Chinese section but there is something for everyone. Really good to be able to.try lots of different things. The seating area is large but still really nice and doesn't feel like a canteen. Will visit again when next in Nottingham
A. M.
With so many dishes to choose from they were all presented impeccably and cooked to perfection. I couldn't fault anything, it was very clean and all staff members friendly and efficient. Will definitely dine there again 😁
N.
My favourite buffet in Nottingham, a great selection of world foods and deserts. Nothing to complain about, great city centre location, very good food. It is nice to have a small amount of twenty different dishes and not have to choose.
M. S.
Food excellent. 😃 Bouncers on the doors is telling of some of the 'types' you may see in there. Your table is also 'timed out'. Meaning when we went you could only stop 1 1/2 hours. On balance it's ok,but not the place for a romantic candle lit dinner.
A. V.
Very nice and clean, Amazing Selection of Food available, Plenty of Friendly staff.
Only problem was we went at 8pm and they close at 9:15 so food was either not so good because of being out longer as not so busy or just ran out and not replaced.
So our experience was not so good, with Ice cream machine not working, cakes all gone, food not so good or none left.
Maybe go earlier in the day would be better.
J. A.
Amazing all you can eat venue. Definitely book in advance: it gets busy! Prices were very reasonable and the food was great. Massive range of different dishes and desserts. Will be visiting again
J. A.
Me and my partner went this week, greeted with friendly staff, throughout our experience, always happy to help. Clean and tidy place, beautiful inside. The food, so much variety we couldnt get enough and it was all so lovely. We will defo be going again!
Z. A.
It's been a few years so nice I've been here , the staff are top notch as always . I still don't always agree with the table time limit especially when the restaurant is not full . Food selection has definitely changed since I was last here and I feel like the quality is alot better than most buffets .
A great evening though cannot fault the service 🙌🙌
G. A.
I was here with Family to have dinner in celebration of my cousin's graduation ceremony. Lovely ambience, great selection of food and wonderful customer friendly staff. Ideal for large family eat out, highly recommend.
C. J.
Prelockdown it was excellent value for money. This time it was not so much. £18.99 all you can eat world foods seems reasonable with inflation etc, but the tall chairs we got seated on were looser than my bowels that night, and i was nudged and elbowed by passers by more than 10 times for daring to be seated next to the till/walkway. Food was mostly good, decent maccies style fries, decent indian dishes, nice carvery foods and fresh fried steak were highlights. My favourite dish of all is usually crispy chilli chicken but it was chewy and a bit tangy this time, so i was a bit wounded. Boiled rice was all one solid unit like a dry rice pudding. Chow mein and char sui/honey pork were excellent. The range of desserts was the best I've ever seen at a buffet (only let down was that the churros were super dry), and all the cakelets and cubes of stuff were delish.
M. A.
Face standard all you can eat buffet. Lots of options but app food not particularly hot. Some of the food quality wasn't great e.g chips and pizza with more crust than topping. Others, the more chinesey type food tasted better. Lots of selection for dessert including ice cream machine. £20.99 for Sunday lunch time. Doscount parking code for Talbot Street car park buy nor for trinity Square. Wine is very expensive, but gin didnt seem to bad. Can get unlimited refill on soft drink for £3.99
C. P.
A broad selection of food from various countries (English, Italian, Chinese, Indian, etc). Food is tasty and caters to the many. Deserts are excellent, and again a broad selection. And oh, prices are good as well!
A. J. S.
Very busy but had a table that wasn't too crowded. Food area was crowded but plenty of choice. Steamed buns are amazing. There is a carpark nearby so can park if not want to get the tram. Nearest stop is the royal centre of you don't want to drive into Nottingham which is perfectly understandable. There was a sign on our table saying we had to vacate 90 mins after time booked for but we did take longer and no one came to chivvy us along. Range of food brilliant there really is something for everyone although not quite sure how food allergies and intolerances are catered for. Well worth an evening out but just in case book your table!!
D. A.
Good value. Went on Sunday £19 for all you can eat for hour n half. Seats are comfy. Would be 5 stars if they didn't cram you in like sardines.
d. s.
Cause I'm a fussy eater, most of the things there I don't eat, but I had the carvary, and for me it wasn't very good by the time you got it back to the table it was cold. The people who I was with tried a few different things and found it fine. Desserts were amazing, just got to work on the carvery.
A. O.
Was absolutely lovely atmosphere was right the only thing they lacked and why I gave 4 star is because at 7pm cook to order stand at dinner time had no more steak or scallop the chef was away from the stand
A. A.
It was opening night at one of old favourites and we had to go and check it out. So glad we did. Had a lovely evening thanks to the amazing staff. From entry to departure it was clear that customer satisfaction and welfare was a priority. Temperature check, One way system, clearly marked and ample sanitation stations, disposable gloves regular cleaning of socially distanced tables, gloves and masks for staff...can't find a single fault. Due to COVID restrictions there was a smaller food menu and a socially distanced queuing system, however there was plenty of food, all delicious and we didn't mind waiting..afterall it is for safety of all. Our waiter Raymond was fantastic, friendly, really efficient and helpful.
Book in advance online and definitely pop in.
G. J.
As always, the food was incredible. Staff were friendly and attentive. Excellent selection of foods on offer.
C. R.
First time we visited Cosmo and we were very impressed. I really glad we pre-booked a table as there was a long queue, but we were seated in seconds.
The food was amazing and there was plenty of choice, even for my daughter who is a vegetarian.
We will definitely be going again...often.
R. L.
Didn't feel like stuffing my face on my birthday, prawns were good though and got some amazing cake and jelly.
M. T.
good selection of foods, but very busy at the time I visited. Serving spoons could of done with being changed more often and alot of people touch them in a short amount of time.
P. V.
First time visit to Cosmo with work colleagues. Great variety of food but having to ask someone on arrival which food was Halal. All Indian food was Halal plus there were also vegetarian such as singapore noodle, egg fried rice and seafood. The variety of desserts were not that great but You also can have an unlimited soft drink for £3.99. The atmosphere was good and most important, the toilet was clean. Having said that, they could do with more variety of Halal food.
A. D.
Good service and nice ambience . But food taste is average. the best part is dessert section, whole variety of desserts and very delicious. I almost ate desserts for dinner. Giving a four star for the good dessert spread or else is a three.
D. J.
Much better hygiene measures against covid, although still has too many children running around messing with the food. Food was delicious as usual although the door man was extremely rude when I needed to go down to my mobility scooter when my family had finished and paid up. I was using a crutch so I don't know why he thought I'd do a run without paying, since I could barely walk. The rest of the staff were extremely helpful and really made our birthday party special.
M. R.
Deffo coming here again!! Great selection of food and it’s really cheap to eat it’s a buffet. I love the sushi selection and the fried rice especially next time will come on an empty stomach
D. B.
Very clean and very well laid out.The staff are very friendly and efficient and are available at all times. The food is well presented and there is a vast amount of
Choice to meet everybody's needs and it's all very tasty. Will definitely visit again in the near future.
J. H. (.
Compared to a couple of other world buffets that I have been too, COSMO is well above marks. Meal prices are more than reasonable (they could get away with charging you another £10-20 in all honesty), especially considering the quality of the food.
A lot of world buffets provide just but lack quality, whereas COSMO hits both of these targets successfully.
Would happily come again when I next visit Nottingham.
L. P.
Lovely choice of international cuisine. Hot food, salads, cakes, sweets. Very good value for money
D. A.
Had a lovely night with family. Staff were so lovely and attentive. Very good prices and great assortment of dishes. Will definitely return.
s. l.
Really great service here, the staff seated us to a nice clean table and tried to make sure there was a comfortable distance between customers not like other restaurants who are trying to cram as many people in - covid or no covid.
There was a wide range of choices and cusines and the value was fantastic. We'd definetely come back again, we hadn't been for 4/5 years.
D. (.
Considering it was a works night out...(Carnage by the way 😆) they looked after us well helpful and patient lol...lovely food grand job ..
L. H.
Amazing choices...of different foods.
Wonderful atmosphere staff polite and helpfull...
Thank-you
Only down side was given voucher for birthday but was told they dont take them anymore 🤔 why send it me then..??
a. b.
I would give 5 stars only if we could stay more than an hour. 1 HR with couple of friends it's not enough. For a 2/3 people it's OK but when you had a conversation, pind, food.... The time is up. Anyway, food is excellent. Good choice, everyone will get a decent meal. I think that even for a Friday/Saturday evening prices are still good. Highly recommended.
C. B.
Food was reasonable, something for everyone. However NOTE that a CHILD price was based on height!! There is a "marker line" at the till (this is not explained until you pay on exit) and you would need a younger child to get their "child" prices. Also slightly intimidating as have door security at the exit asking for proof of payment so keep the receipt handy.
2 adults and 2 kids = 4 ADULT priced meals 😭, would of gone elsewhere if had known this to start with, found it misleading.
l. s.
It was extremely busy but lovely food. But you have a time limit to eat your meal and leave. Wouldn't go as a big party again. As you didnt really get chance to eat and chat
j. f.
A great place to eat with foods from many countries,no need to look any further than this place, the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. If you've not been , get there you won't be disappointed, all you can eat , I'll be back .
B. S.
Cosmo is one of those places where you have to weigh up the pros and cons, I have had several great meals here and the kids absolutely love it, however sometimes it can be disappointing, food that is not the best quality, left out for a long time and often messily presented. Not a place to go if you were expecting fine dining, however for large groups and for a good time I would definitely recommend, never had any upsets or complications, you don't have much interaction with waitors so my review is more based on the food and presentation of the place
k. h.
Good selection of veggie food as well as choices for those who eat meat. Given about an hour and a half to eat which was good. The staff were very polite and attentive.
I. C.
Visited this place on a Sunday after a very productive day at Nottingham beer festival, all I can say is that I couldn't have chosen a better place. The food options where varied and the quality was spot on. I am often suspect of all you can eat style restaurants. But this one pulled it out of the bag. It almost sorted my hangover
J. T.
Loved it. Brilliant atmosphere, everything is delicious and the staff is great but sometimes you feel weird when you leave because they'll shake you down for your receipt.
T. C.
For a family place it’s fine. Not really a fan of buffet but food was to a decent standard. We were a big group but plenty of space and seats.
a. g.
Great Ambience, Neat n clean, staff is polite, lot of optiobs to eat but few for vegetarians. Worth your money. Been to this place 6-7 times, alwyz felt good.
j. c.
Not bad but feel very rushed all the time, do not bother asking for special requirements as they just dont listen overheard a manager shouting down his headset that's it now no more changes to be made is that clear....... food was very very nice though shame about everything else
G. R. U.
Nice and cosy place! to meet with friends, spend a few hours. Try different cuisines different meals the staff is really friendly very professional and always on hand I really recommend this place is good for meeting with friends and spend some time with family
C.
Definitely a case of QUANTITY over QUALITY.
After being rushed through the door and repeatedly told to "move a side" by a security guard the four of us were shown to our seats by a pleasant hostess.
Moments later Dan turned up to take our drink orders and he could not have been more polite or courteous in how he dealt with us. Brownie points to Dan!
After taking our drink orders we were let lose upon the buffet and the eating commenced. Now I must say the food wasn't inedible but it certainly wasn't a high standard either. The pizza was limp and soggy, the fries were rubbery and chewy, the sushi was slimy and the seaweed was tasteless. My favourite thing was the baby tomatoes so stock up on them!
Next came the desserts which again lacked taste (except the Sicilian lemon cheesecake) and the tubs of ice cream were very very soft and partially melted.
Once we'd had enough we paid £16.99 each for the buffet and £3 each for the drinks and left.
I can't say I'd be in a hurry to go back.....except maybe to chat to Dan again. He really was very friendly!
c. g.
it's a great cheap night out with family with good food from around world would give 5 stars except 2 yrs on and still toilets have strong drain smell and bleech on top..
r. r.
Super friendly staff the food area was clean and tidy and above all its good quality for the price point. 100% would recommend
S. H.
Gorgeous fresh food, everything to suit even the fussiest of eaters, would definitely recommend a visit, staff are friendly and it's extremely reasonably priced, great place for a family celebration.
C. E.
Good place for kids to eat as much or as little as they like I would book as they don't accept walk in on a Saturday food is fresh and hot and the desserts are lovely 😋
J. M.
Wide range of food from all over the world, you pay just £15 and eat as much as you want. From main dishes to dessert. I was surprised and shocked. Everyone should try it.
K. J.
Amazing selection of all you can eat buffet. Chinese,Indian, English, fresh pasta, fish and salad. Oh and not to forget deserts. The Chinese food was delicious by far the best I’ve ever had however I was disappointed dry the Indian the curry was cold and the meat was dry. There was a variety of pizza on offer -all vegetarian though. I would definitely return but just for the Chinese food and the deserts. They staff were all friendly and helpful. Bargain weekday price of £8.99 👍
V. M.
Very nice local. Well organized, the food was fresh and tasty. The desserts area is very nice.
C. W.
Good food large selection something for everyone, always worth a visit. Very good service and clean.😁👍♥️
C. B.
Gorgeous food, great variety. There's something for everyone, our children love it here. Friendly staff too.
M.
Just a nice place to eat some lovely food and be silly with your friends :) Only downside not really very many vegetarian mains,,
D. H.
Fantastic food, a huge selection from all over the world. Not cheap but definitely worth it!
L. J.
Wow 1st time here. Totally spoilt for choice mains stunnjng. Little disappointed with desserts as not much choice as shelves were quite empty.
J. V.
Best all you can eat place in the country. Lot of great food, extremely well displayed, clean, and with some chefs providing tailored food. Soft drinks include refilling. Great dessert range included sweets, cakes and individual ice-creams. It costed me £12.99 + £3.10 (soft- drink). If you don't have a booking, your time is constrained to 90'
23/3/2019 repeated with same experience, shame they can't rollout this (experience) at its Derby subsidiary
H. F.
Nice restaurant environment, but a bit noisy because it's so busy..
Not all the food nice, up and down.
C. M.
Lovely restaurant, amazing variety of food and the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend!
J. C.
First time visit to Nottingham cosmos on March 16th 2019, very large establishment, easy to check in and find your way around the place. Loads of choice to choose from, especially for the sushi, which was ,my favourite as other cosmos different have this big of a variety to choose from. The deserts was also amazing and they had fresh popcorn in the venue as well, would go back and take the kids next time. They would love it.
A. M.
You can not put this place into words,I am so gutted today was my first visit,I've been missing out wasting money in other places half this quality, my new favourite food place
L.
We were at the restaurant 12/4/22 for my daughters 18th birthday meal. Delicious food and something for everyone.
S. K.
Steps in not sure about any other entrance for wheelchair or disabled food nice but not sure 🤔 I can eat 20pounds worth of food bit pricey I thought
N. D.
The food was great and very good/friendly staff.
P. E.
Visited Friday, food was amazing, super hot, we had duck pancakes which were fab. Plenty of duck, then I had Chinese and my partner had some Indian food. Gorgeous food, very tasty and would highly recommend this place. We also had dessert which was lovely. The staff were amazing, super polite. Will definitely be back 😊
m. s.
Always good choice and the food is excellent. Very casual and the staff helpful and friendly
D. W.
Ok lot of choice generally well prepared and presented friendly staff. Tendency to try everything so overeat!
A. F.
Food lovely. Maybe abit on the pricey side now though, but worth a visit.
R. T.
Great selection of international dishes.Good quality produce, meat and fish.Well cooked and presented all served at correct temperature. Excellent dining experience with good service. Will visit again
B. R.
This place is amazing with lots of different to choose. Food was delicious and service is very efficient especially from the guy Robyn. We didn't booked the table as we didn't know this place get this crazy busy.
He sorted our table quick and show us around the buffet how it works.
Definitely recommending to our families and friends. And we will be back.
Many thanks.
D. A.
Enjoyed a meal here. Very busy but the food was well stocked. Had a bit of everything you can think of, lots of different food styles. Would return... Only go here if your super hungry otherwise it's not as good value
D. B.
Lots of choice of food, nice staff. The quality of some of the food isn't fantastic, but I would still recommend
O. E.
Always performing to standard. Excellent in hygiene, friendly helpful staff. 👍
T. T. w. C.
Great variety of food. Food is warm. Great atmosphere good for families and friends catch up
A. W.
Came for 18th birthday and daughters engagement.
Service was spot on most of the food was gorgeous although custard was cold as was a few other dishes as the night went on
C. W.
Less selection than I would have expected.
Service was good and the food was ok but I'll probably not bother again.
Y. A.
Been here twice. It’s a perfect place for students in terms of money. The verity of food is amazing and they even offered Halal food in the Indian section. Deserts and icecream were my favorite and most enjoyable part. Definitely recommend this place has a very nice vibe.
G.
I visited for the first time, and the food was great tasted really nice, and the selection of food and desserts is crazy good will definitely be returning
J.
Oh my goodness, this place is AWESOME! I took three teenagers who were completely in their element! Food was delicious and something for absolutely everyone. Their dim sum and Chinese were particularly good and the towering chocolate fountain and fizzy drinks machine, went down very well with the boys. Staff were super nice and nothing phased them, even the endless spillage of chocolate and endless plates on our table. Food was exceptional and we stayed for a good two hours in a relaxing booth. Highly recommend and book if you can as they were queuing at the door when we arrived for opening time at 5pm for evening meal.
D. A.
The food tastes great and the chefs are always so friendly, it is my favourite buffet that I've been to. I've recommended it to family and friends.
But why the 3 stars? During one of my visits, when it came to payment, I stood in front of the lady at the cash register and asked how much it was in total, I was not heard after repeating it 3 times. I had my phone out ready with Apple Pay and without even confirming to me the amount, or letting me tell her that I had a student discount and a stamp card, she put the card reader against my phone and took payment without my authorisation. I then noticed that the amount we got charged was over what we expected, where they added bottomless drinks to our receipt when we didn't even have any.
When I attempted to talk to her in order to complain right after payment, she turned around and talked to her colleague instead which made me feel neglected.
If it wasn't for the amazing food and friendliness of other staff, this review would've been 5 stars. But even so, after I sent an email over to Cosmo's address regarding this situation, I have not received any response.
C. L.
absolutely amazing place, came for a date night with my partner and liked it so much we came back with the kids, the food is good quality and a huge selection for every palette, my kids loved the chocolate fountain
V. H. R.
All u can eat from around the world.. free soft drink refills.. so much to choose from.. nice fresh food.. clean place friendly staff
J. B.
Went with my fiance had a beautiful dinner Every think was cooked to perfection well flavoured well priced in the pudding is Pudding were lovely especially the fudge cake well worth going and definitely will go again
F. R.
Must admit Felt uneasy with amount of people close to tables waiting to pay, not sure why it can't be moved elsewhere...
Also I feel you need to separate veggie options from themed. For example things like fries, I seen one of your staff using the same utensils for fries and chicken nuggets. As they are next to each other anyone can be filling up both using same utensils.
S. W.
Amazing! Food was fresh and such a huge variety. Will definitely be back soon
S. G.
The food was great and so was the service but some particular dishes and foods tasted different to last time with personally I found better.
j. t.
The food is good but only half the items on their online menu is available.
B. Y.
great selection of food and good service the only let down is the toilets get them clean and smelling nice then it would be a 5 star plus review
A. M.
Great ambiance, delicious food, maybe a tad expensive (just my opinion).
C. F.
Last minute decision to go here and wasn’t disappointed. Great choices and great staff.
C. M.
Oh my Lawd!!!!! This is an amazing buffet spot. I was in a foodgasm that I forgot to take pictures of all it had to offer.
Right in the heart of Nottingham city, it's an upscale, classy restaurant with adequate sitting arrangements. You can make a reservation for free and u are allocated to 2hr 30mins for ur meal experience.
All u can eat and drink (at a little extra cost).
Food types range from all types of meat, to different salads, Oriental foods, pizza types, Sushi arrays, seafood, rice medleys, popcorn, cakes, ice cream, deserts, oh my, u name it. Drinks on Tap too with cute ice cubes being dispenced.
So long as ur tummy can accommodate the food, u can try everything.
I am definitely going to keep going back. Loads of parking structures around the restaurant.
y.
Lovely staff and stuff and everything was perfect. Highly recomended
E. T.
Despite beeing more expensive than it used to be. I love the combination of different cuisines and the all you can it "challenge "
O. P. M.
Great food, great services, just a bit too crowded.
P. “. A.
A really well presented, all you can eat restaurant 😊 The servers are very helpful and keen (if you go to the loo, your plate will have been cleared before you get back. Strategic toilet planning needed 😂) The food was all very fresh and never out for too long.
Great selection of food from around the world and a classic selection of puddings - including Viennetta!
I did find the tempura battered items a bit thick and stodgy but everything else was gorgeous!
A word of caution though if you want to take advantage of any offers. Some of the offers in the web site only ask you to make reference to the offer you want when you book, but you need to tell your server as well. If you don't, you may not get the offer.
L. F.
It was awesome. The dishes were actually nicer than my visit 2 weeks back, probably because I went earlier and was among to first group of customer to kick off the dining for the evening...and the service staff were amazing, 5 star definitely 👍👍👍👍👍
J. T.
A range of lots of delicious foods from different cultures. Easy to get to with public transport not far away.
K. N.
The food is fantastic, the service is world class and the seating is wonderful!
This is the best Cosmo I've been in so far!
K. F.
Nice, but expensive at £18.99 for a buffet on a Sunday. Why do the prices differ on different day's and times?, the food is the same.
M. “. B.
Very good service would recommend to everyone will definitely going back amazing food
D. H.
Beautiful food, staff very mannered and a good service
C. P.
Granddaughters favourite place for lunch.
D. H.
Authentic? ...Not a chance!
Somewhere where you can go to stuff your face for cheap?...definitely!
Don't take anyone here for a first date, they're likely not to contact you again. You get what you pay for here, poor quality food and to navigate through crowds of people with a mountain of food isn't fun.
Staff are great though couldn't fault them 👏 👌
R. A.
Paid £8.99 for lunch on a weekday, as they give 10% for students.
Lunchtime is the cheapest from 12PM to 3PM. And then it gets more expensive. Excellent variety of foods.
c. s.
Awesome food good value, feel like they've turn the air-con down a little bit so don't go in anything but dressed for summer weather.
w. w.
Great food and made our joint birthday and mother's day celebrations special.
R. F.
In a world of very few buffets remaining in business, this is one of the best out there. Wonderful selection of food and drinks. Will come again.
G. R.
Very good food, wine and cider, been here a few times and will be back again soon.
J. H.
All u can eat, quick service for drinks, plenty of choice for any age, well worth a visit will be returning
H. R.
Very clean with helpful and attentive staff. Though food could be warmer.
M. D.
Cosmos offers a large variety of foods and dishes from around the world. It offers a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables, and a wide range of desserts. I have always been impressed with it, particularly the student discount!
M. G.
Great range of food. Some dishes were cold though
H. S.
Good food but not enough choice for fussy people
K. W.
So much food to choose from, there is something for everyone and it all tasted amazing
S. G.
No different to the lunch time buffet price yet you charge more. Food wasn't hot either
K. M.
Excellent food, good service and great atmosphere. 👍
P.
It doesn’t have a wide selection of food the desserts are basic and some even look disgusting but the ice cream is amazing.
The customer service is great I absolutely love the staff and Chinese/Asian selection is beyond this world 😍 it was so good , unfortunately you do have to pay for your drinks but their not expensive so all in all it’s low key worth it.
S. C.
Good food, expensive though. Also I waited 10 minutes to pay my bill as there was only one person taking payments.
P. H.
First class evening. Great staff great food at a reasonable price
L. S.
Food was okay, but some was cold . Overall, good value for money.
M. S.
Amazing and friendly staff, can usually get a bit overly crowded and drinks aren't the cheapest. I'd recommend going early on in the evening as you tend to get the freshest and nicest food, make sure you book in advance and keep your recept as they check it at the door.
R. W.
The food selection wasn't huge but the food was good and the staff there were great.
Overall, had a great time and expect I'll be going back in the future.
c. w.
Decent choice of buffet food. Quality was ok but not great.
Very busy in some areas with no social distancing.
V. M.
Went there because the reviews and not regretting at all. So many kinds of food from all around the world
C. T.
Great price as they offer student discount, huge variety of food and cuisine, only improvement would maybe include more vegeterian/vegan options
C. M.
I think the charge for children is wrong my daughter is 11 and I got charged an adult prices just because she tall for her age
J. D.
Great place if you're ravenous! All you can eat, what more do you want 😁
M. S.
Go most weekends good food and hot unlike some others
R. D. A.
Excellent range, but quality of cook and produce was poor. Roast turkey portion was less than a mouth full. Duck had large chunks of bone left in.
J. H.
Went for birthday treat. Food amazing staff couldn't be anymore friendly
g. c.
Friendly staff, just needed more staff behind bar.but lovely food and friendly staff
J. C.
Shame you can't be excellent at one cuisine instead of adequate at many. Nothing wrong with the food and good introduction to different styles if you are jot already familiar
A. A.
Plenty of choices and so clean.. also the staff are very nice and friendly
G. A. (.
Lovely large selection of food from around the world. Good prices. Highly recommend👍
A. A.
Huge place serving a variety of food. Tasty and clean. Good service.
A. C.
Excellent, easily the best buffet I've ever visited
A. K.
My favourite buffet restaurant, worth every penny spent there 🥰
P. S.
Very big restaurant, meals from round the world, £21.50p per person
k. m.
Good food could be improved some dishes not very warm
A. B.
The restaurant just reopen, last week, still clean, staff are very nice. we had a dinner with my family. Plates was cold and some of the food are not filling up.not even bother to check if there is any food in chaffing dish..Gutted, no prawn in menu.
S. B.
All you can eat! What can I say 😍❤️ decent price, and great staff. Can book big parties, and also discount available for students/NHS
H. M.
Booked online, arrived then ate so much it hurt. Great choices of food, although I think more varieties of currys would be welcome.
D. r.
Great choice of food but not all good quality.
I. L.
Tasty food varieties, luke warm but really enjoyed the experience, will need to go second time to get to taste different food
m. v.
Wow food was out of this world, any down side ? That much really awesome food made me need a nap
J. C.
Took youngest grandchild, she loved it. Pretty decent food at a good price.
K. D.
Really nice food, all fully stocked, good price, nice place and decor
g. c.
Great food I had the curry and Chinese very good.
B. P. (.
Salad bar was awful but everything else was good. Very Busy and massive que to pay after we finished.
T. O.
Very attentive staff . Could do meals for oaps cheaper like other places . The prices do seem to have risen but still nice food
A. G.
So much lovely food ,great service thanks a lot
A. S.
Drinks menu. Was a good visit, would recommend to others
S. K.
Good ambiance nice food desert very tempting but memories 😊👍🥧🍰🍨🧁🍧
S. B.
Nice best buffet in Nottingham
C. D.
The food is really good, but the desserts are mind-blowing. The staff were all very friendly, attentive and chatty. Would definitely recommend.
J. J.
A few types of food are great but if the place is full of people the customers services is not great.
N.
17.99 per adult evening buffet kids under 1.5 metres eat half price ... decent food , refill soft drinks .
P. W.
Always come here when in Nottingham. Good choice of food and good value
l. f.
I love this place . Foods lovely and its always clean.. Shame they ran out of icecream...... but I always enjoy cosmos.
D. R. D. B.
A lot of different dishes from all continents, great deserts too. Again, 12 March 22, not disappointed, great food, great services, friendly staff, well worth the money spent.
A. M.
Amazing as always! Great food, friendly staff....
t.
Only had 45 min allowed by them to seat :)
C. E.
Great food unfortunately it wasn't very hot!!
E. C.
Great place to eat kids will enjoy 15 pounds for an adult
j. w.
Great food, great service, really enjoyed our time here :)
G. B.
Nice but not as i remember some food changes
L. B.
Plenty of choice, loved the Chinese BBQ chicken, the chocolate fountain and whippy ice cream. And the Singapore Sling was amazing!
C. M.
Great selection, only thing, personal preference, needs nore battery style chicken in the Chinese part... but that's just to my tast 🤗 100% recommend
S. O.
This is an all you can eat restaurant in Nottingham. Couteous staff, clean facility, an a wide array of menu. Restaurant is also well located in city center.
R. M.
Nice food and good place to be whit friends
C. H.
Food was good for a buffet but loud environment and feels rushed timeslots. Staff far to keen to whip away your empty plate, even if it's not fully empty.
J. N.
Friendly and helpful staff. Mains food was average and they of course offered an incredibly wide selection. Desserts were somewhat lacking in quality though. Was a fun experience overall, would recommend for anyone to try at least once , especially for families with fussy eaters. There will be something here you like. They have a 10% student discount, which you don't need an NUS card for (only your valid student ID)
J. w.
Staff are amazing. Some of the food could be better but for the amount on display it’s great value for money.
O. G.
Suben on the fresh grill was amazing! Thank you so much!
C. B.
A good solid buffet with efficient service, decent diversity and some tasty dishes. That's did give a vacate the table time but didn't enforce
K. S.
Love this place been a few time and never had a bad time once’s always nice hot cooked food have to wait a little bit but staff are welcoming always keep up to date on ya table times smell amazing missed this place in lockdown looking forward to visiting again very soon well done to all of cosmos’s stuff 🎉🥰🥰
C. O.
A little slow to get in but that's expected on a weekend. Really nice food with a great layout and good food!
A. G.
Well organised buffet restaurant. Better than other buffet kinds of restaurants I have been before. I do recommend it.
T. “. K.
No coffee, and flat beer. Food was better than i expected. Would try again
D. B. E.
Great meal variety, good deal.
L. A.
Always busy but that's a good thing because the food is always fresh and tasty. Very good venue for families with children, although limited disabled access. Due to the amount of customers, I would struggle to get a wheelchair round the chairs in the dining area. Easy access to the food though again, due to the crowds it's a struggle to get close to the food.
After loads more visits this has become a firm family favourite. Great food and so much variety that there's something for everyone. Access has improved and the staff are super helpful. Love this place and my autistic son loves it.
M. C. V.
Nice as usual, not busy so we could stay more than 1 hour 30 minutes.
C. C.
I love this place food always fresh made and a wide range of drinks.
D.
Went here as a lunch time treat. Good was lovely especially the squid, only thing that lets it down are the desserts, they look really pretty and nice. But the the taste doesn't match. Was a couple of nice ones but overall desserts are all show. Will definitely be returning though.
C. H.
Good clean food. Service was excellent.
A. T.
Nice place to eat buffet style. Wide selection of oriental dishes. Great service but staff just look drained and knackered. I think they just need to hire more staff to ease pressure on the waiters cos they look miserable and tired. Can barely smile. Too much work for such a small team.
The place is popular and very busy hence it's better to book in advance to save you waiting for a table.
Worth visiting!!!
C.
First visit, really enjoyed it. Great selection of food and as much as you want of anything..
S. J.
My first buffet outside of the US and I absolutely enjoyed myself. The atmosphere is nice as well. Plenty to see around you in the big open windows. Family friendly. Our wait wasn't long. Food was beyond what I expected. I appreciate most that you can see some of the food being made. Great selection. The "jerk" chicken to me should have been called roasted chicken.
R. H.
Food excellent, staff excellent, atmosphere excellent. Made my father in laws 88th birthday on Friday one to remember. Thank you
B. A.
Lovely Platter of freshly prepared food😋😋😋
M. C.
There is such a wide variety of food here that caters for diners of all tastes.
The prices are very reasonable and the layout is very good.
The quality of the food here seems to be excellent and the staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
You definitely do need to book here as it does get very busy.
In term time you cannot seem to book online for lunchtime as they apparently block these out for students. Definitely phone though as you can still reserve a table!
J. H.
Ate here with family and I was very impressed with the service and the food
D. M.
First visit will consider a revisit when in the city
K. W.
Food always is amazing worth the money lovely staff that make you feel so welcome
B. S.
Every time we have been it’s been a really nice Pleasant experience extremely clean amazing friendly helpful staff food is lovely and kept warm . Sometimes I cant eat due to illness I always take the rest of my meal if I can’t eat it home with me with no problems or explaining my self . It’s always very busy but all
Staff are on hand to make shore no one is waiting long times and get you seated and drinks .Definitely missed coming over for a meal and we look forward to coming back hopefully before Christmas
L. G.
Very expensive for whats on offer but food was nice
B. M.
Changed my mind after seeing food on the pics, didn't look that good
S. O.
This establishment has wheelchair access (lift) although it is on the first floor. The food was of a decent standard and is clean. It can get very busy and quite loud. They are very thorough with the height restricted prices. My son is 150cm and had to pay full price although eats very little. For 1 adult & 1 child the meal came to £30+ which I believe is quite expensive. I wouldn't recommend this place if your looking for a private or intimate setting. More recommended for groups and families...with a large appetite if you want value for money
G. G.
Friendly, attentive staff. There was an amazing selection of foods from around the world. The tapanayaki guy was awesome, cooked to perfection. Lovely atmosphere.
Didn't give 5 stars because our table was a little sticky when we sat down and the prawn toast was lacking prawn.
P. P. T.
The food selection is brilliant and taste wise good. It could do with labelling the food items a bit better, not everything was labeled and with those with allergies it could be hard to know what is what. Staff are nice and friendly, always around to answer questions you may have. It is quite pricey, but I suppose moat buffet sort restaurants are.
A. M.
Fantastic variety on offer. Very friendly staff
J. F.
Great food, friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend.
A. W.
Large choice of food and very well presented. The waiting staff were quite friendly and helpful. The desert bar left a lot to be desired because it was very messy with odd bits and pieces of various deserts spread all over the serving area. Although this is caused by the guests, the restaurant can do more to prevent it from getting to this state.
D. L.
Good selection at dinner service and the refillable soft drinks are great, considering most buffets will rinse you on the drinks. Pricing is competitive. Atmosphere is good if a little busy at peak times. One negative is the doorman who asks for proof that you've paid on the way out. I assume they've had issues with run offs but I think the current solution is a little inelegant. Overall though I would recommend it.
c. m.
Great atmosphere and food glorious food for everyone's taste
A. G.
What an amazing little gem. Can't believe I haven't been here before. Lots of different types and cultures of cuisine to choose from, perfect for those of us that like to try a little of everything. The desserts are delicious, and again, so many to choose from, I'd particularly recommend the brownie, macaroon and profiteroles. Something for everyone, even my fussy eater husband and children. Not overpriced, will definitely come again.
M. C.
Great value as always
p. g.
Very good variety of food. Great service 👏 👍 👌
E. O.
Gorgeous place to eat. So many choices and each stations has their own nationality preparing the food. 1st came in august for my birthday and took family the 2nd time and they said they'll be back. Was also able to cater for a wheelchair user. Nothing bad to say about the place
g. a.
Not a bad all you can eat,
P. A.
Excellent food albeit a bit on the pricier side. We have almost always went for dinner and never had to book in although had a bit of a wait once. It's great if you are going in with children as there is so much to offer and I knew my picky toddler would at least nibble at the different choices. Love the Indian fare (which is one of the more authentic tasting ones I have had in Nottingham) and the desserts.
S. W.
Went for lunch recently. Food is amazing as always. The only negative was no chicken balls in the Chinese section. I don't know if they do it at dinner but they don't at lunch. I can't wait too go again. The more you go you fill up a loyalty card. I have a free drink next time saving £3.10. My son is under two and was charged £2 really good value for money as me and he can try new food.
See you all soon
K. K. K. T. B.
Awesome place has such a great time thank you ❤️
R. G.
Took the family tonight and was totally blown away with the quality of the food. Best lamb Rogan Josh I have ever had, the Chinese food was so tasty. The pizza was super yummy. All in all everything that I had and all the members of my family chose to eat was truly outstanding. Will be definitely coming back and if you haven't been here yet your missing a treat. Thank you.
A. F.
Went to lunch here with some friends. The staff were friendly and polite. There was a wide variety of delicious food so you'd be sure to find something you love, and it is fantastic value for money. The overall atmosphere and experience was just really positive. My friends and I will be sure to come back again soon!
L. J.
Really great world buffet restaurant, lots of great choices even if you are a bit weird like me and have curry, chips and sweets as your second plate. I found the service to be really friendly and great, I've seen some reviews saying they are too quick to take plates away but that's not what we saw, it's clearly stated at the table that you leave your plate and go get another one of you get up for more and they'll take it away. You also pay at the table so it's fair enough showing your receipts when you leave, stops the forgetful diners that have had one too many leaving without paying. Highly recommended.
G. S.
Friendly staff and great choice of food.
P. B.
Decore is really nice and adds to the atmosphere.
Vast range of food from burgers and chips, through good old English roast to, Indian, Italian, Chinese and Japanese.
Then there's the sweets many of which posted here. The soft ice cream dispenser was out of order this time but still plenty to fill that gap. The fruits on offer were a bit restricted but maybe that's a seasonal limitation. Tried to pop a few red grapes of the display until it turned out the were very convincing plastic ornaments 🤭😂.
Drinks, well we really only bother with pop and the usual bottomless glass offer.
The option for alcohol is pretty vast as well (this is a university town - come on).
Very pleasant all around meal. If I had any criticism it was that some of the buffet meats were a bit tough chewey and fatty hence only 4 stars but at £20 each including the drinks it's a good experience and all you can eat. Would certainly go again.
Advisor to book (was a Saturday night) but people were doing in without reservations and still getting a seat.
Also all manner of loyalty offers and seniors and kids discounts.
P. J.
One price all you can eat restaurant. Great selections of food from all round the world with each country's menu served by its own kitchen and service counter. Keep going back as many times as you like. I started with a British roast dinner followed by a Chinese meal followed by a Pizza. Could have had a desert too but was too full. Can get busy at times so check to see if you need to reservation or queue and wait for a table to be free.
M. V.
We were there for lunch. With us were there sadly many kids. It was loud there but for the price it's great. You can choose from many different meals or style of food and take as much as you like. Puddings are there as well. I think I had mojito as a drink and it wasn't great. It was already mixed and taste was like a chemical liquid. But for the food it's worth to visit.
F.
Very nice food but it is often cold. Great place to go and try new things but if you just want a particular thing, I'd go elsewhere. Deserts are the best ever though! The atmosphere is a bit stuffy but its not bad. Staff really friendly.
f.
Lots of choice with delicious desserts galore! It can get busy so best to book. So much delicious food to choose from and the chocolate fountain is fun. There are sweets for the kids as well as ice creams and the staff we spoke to were helpful. The plates were cleared away quickly from our table and easy to pay. We have been to both the Derby one and now the Nottingham one. When are you bringing one to Leicester? :-)
s.
I reviewed this 4 stars two years ago, I went again recently and its way bigger than it used to be and the food isn't as good. Lots of it is cold and the meat is chewy.
M. S.
We have had lunch at Cosmo lots of times and it had always been a good dining experience. We decided to go for an evening meal as we were curious to see what the different food options would be. The dining experience was disappointing. The food options were basically the same (apart from steamed pork dumplings and lotus buns), the deserts looked old, the waiting staff were rushed off their feet (very busy and not enough staff), and the atmosphere was loud and stressful. I'd rather spend less money on a relaxing lunchtime buffet than pay over the odds for the same (old) food and appaling atmosphere. Cosmo you need to do better.
T. H.
Visited on a fairly busy Sunday afternoon in a a party of 8, ages from 9 to 70 years old. Waited for no more than 10 minutes before a table became available. Really good choice of food from all regions around the world, so everyone in the group was happy. Food was hot and plentiful. Staff were friendly and attentive. Offered very good value for money.
C. F.
Plenty of food for choice, freshly replaced when low, clean facilities and friendly staff
D. M.
I visited Cosmo for lunch on a Saturday and had to queue to get in, it's a large place though and waiting times were minimal. For a large restaurant it feels cosy and has a more refined atmosphere than other buffets I've visited. There's a wide variety of food on offer and something for everyone. The quality is ok, some things are better than others and I could tell where corners have been cut. The cake selection was particularly good. If you like buffets it's worth a visit.
Z. V.
Great place to visit. Staff are very friendly, the food is great and what you would expect with a great selection and it feels very clean. Food and drinks are priced reasonably. Very easy to find and also quickly seated in comparrison to other buffet chains in the area. Overall, would definitely recommend!
S. N.
This has been one of my favourite places to eat. Usually, when you go to an open buffet, you would expect that the food quality to be on the lower side, but not this place. The food actually tastes good, and the place atmosphere is nice to sit it. It’s slightly expensive as you would expect, but you can not go wrong by going to have lunch/dinner there.
N. L.
It was a really busy Saturday evening so I thought how much the place makes at £17.99 a head. I understand the price for a sat night but you gotta put some food away to get a good deal. The food was nice though the curry was heavy on the gut and the staff were friendly and helpful. May sum is better. I guess the biggest thing I took from the evening is how embarrassingly spoilt we are in this country to have all you can eat restaurants and what gluttonous pigs we all are.
D. P.
We had a ball. Booked on-line a few days prior to the neal. Arrived 5 minutes before the appointed time on a Saturday lunchtime. The restaurant was very busy. A queue was waiting for tables. I introduced myself at Reception who immediately whisked us to our table for 8.
Food was satisfactory for the price paid. Kids are half price, which I thought was fair. Small plates is a good idea as it's easy to over eat - be warned.
Paying the bill was simple, courteous and efficient.
N.
Huge variety of food from different cultures! But it gets boring after visiting a few times since there's nothing new each time you visit (apart from desserts). I wish they had specialties every now and then to make the evening more interesting. Overall, great place to eat and try new styles of food from all over the world! Be careful during busy hours as it can get crowded.
w. 1.
Honestly amazing. I went there multiple times with my family and I'm having a great time every single time I go. The food is definitely price worthy and suitable for everyone as the food there is from several different cultures. I totally recommend this place. Enjoy!
S. M.
Been a couple of times and the food has always been great. Wide variety of world foods including puddings. We went once around lunchtime and we had to rush our meal as they were closing to ready the venue for the evening diners - so best to call and check!
M.
Very nice good quality food, great selection
S. K.
A long range of foods, the normal drinks aren't bad and the refill unlimited really nice. The staff are helpful and always leave you feeling like a well stuffed. I like the salads and sushi areas. They have traditional roast dinner or American style burgers for the fussy ones. Then you have a all around the world chooses like India curries, Chinese, Greek and more. Plenty of choose in desserts, seriously way to many. Dont over stuff dinner if you haven't tried their desserts.
P. K.
One of the best restaurants where I have ever been. Really recommended.
J. W.
Excellent customer service - they guy that got us a table was well mannered, timely and highly professional. We had to wait 15 minutes but that was fine and it was quite busy so completely understandable. The food was good and there was adequate choice.
A. F.
The atmosphere was great here, the restaurant looks really good too. The food was excellent such a lot of choice unfortunately couldn't try everything. The only issue I had was that the waitress that took our plates away was a bit over efficient we had barely put the last mouthful in when she swooped in and took our plates.
D. D.
First time at Cosmo for me and very impressed. My 2 young son's and I enjoyed the choice and excellent service. Our host was Becky (the scouser) and she was genuinely very friendly and efficient. A queue outside before midday opening to my surprise but now I know why. Just a nice place and will definitely visit again. Thank you to all the staff
I.
Very nice and delicious food. The food is well-prepared and isn't cold. There is a wide variety of desserts that constantly change. The staff are attentive and clear plates quickly. Overall, this is a wonderful buffet to eat at.
D. H.
Great meeting place, placed right in Nottingham City Center you can get your meal before heading out on the town, or relax and make it a broader part of your day or night, as lunch is also available.there is a huge choice of food, some of my friends and family are vegetarian, so choice is important.
The food is always fresh and available, all size parties can be catered for as the place is huge. You may be given a time limit on your table if it is really busy, but well worth a try.
a. l.
This was our second visit tonight and was just as great as our first. Fantastic food, always hot and fresh. Fantastic staff, who go out of their way to help with anything, and a great atmosphere. Thank you so much for making my 2 children's birthdays so great.
g. g.
It's ok but what can I say hard to relax
R. W. (.
I have been here twice now and it is always a pleasure. It is always busy yet the food never runs out and the staff are great with the high influx never getting anything mixed up. Some of the food can be improved like the roasts and Italian but if you stick to the Asian stations and the desserts you are onto a winner.
G. G.
Brilliant selection of food! Each stall has different food from different countries on earth, all cooked well and differently, so theres always plenty of choice. We go quite regular. Remember to book a table though, especially at busy times as this place is VERY popular!
D. M.
Great value, the kids absolutely adore this place!
N. S.
Massive first floor restaurant, self service, with a huge range of mainly Asian food, though there are salads and English options, including roast dinner, so great for a party with a wide range of tastes. Vegetarians and allergies well labelled and catered for. It's all you can eat, so go with an appetite. Puddings were less impressive, but kids enjoyed serving themselves a massive pile of ice-cream! Being open plan, you could be subjected to the noise of someone else's party, so not the place for a quiet chat!
D. K.
My girlfriend and I took both sets of parents here to meet for the first time (this way, everyone gets what they like). The service was friendly but not the fastest, though this was due to it being a very busy evening and was understandable. The food was amazing, I tried the Chinese, Sushi and Indian options and had no room for dessert.
The only negative thing I found was the printing of the '2 eat for £26' voucher. It never came through on our emails, so we had to get round it by pressing 'print' then screen shotting the voucher, emailing it then using the printer. Perhaps it wasn't compatible with certain computers?
G. S.
Always an awesome meal at Cosmo, very reasonably priced for what food you get and it's all you can eat. A huge selection of very tasty food. I'd be very surprised if someone couldn't find something they liked. The food is always refilled proactively, I've never seen anything empty. Food cooked in front of you how you want it is very good. Generous time allowance as well, 90 mins is more than enough time, especially as you don't have to wait.
Hope they have more locations in the future :D

Once you've sat down you never feel rushed. The food is lovely, a real something for everyone kind of thing. Though I had to shake my head at one couple who decided to take all you can eat to a new level and filled there bags with, more than 12 apples, bananas, cakes and even tubs of ice cream. It was a bit cheeky... Just saying. My kids loved it btw.

Loads of dodgy reviews... Can't see why! Food was hot, delicious, the service was swift, used plates removed really quickly, loads of variety and good quality. Family friendly restaurants in city centres do tend to be bush with a few loud toddlers, happens everywhere. If people want quiet then perhaps not the place.... But we lived the business... Aged 33,30, 12,12,13 & 11 we were chatty too! X

This was my first time at Cosmo and I cannot complain at all. It was an absolutely incredible experience from the moment we walked through the doors until we left. I would recommend booking in advance as it means you can walk straight in and sit down at a table. Reasonably priced aswell which you cant grumble at.

We went for for my daughters birthday last night (18/01/20) Amazing place, great food, staff were brilliant especially our waitress (table 130) she went above & beyond to help us, especially as some of our party were late. Definately we will be going back in the near future. We travelled from lincolnshire, well worth the journey.

I'm going to give this 4 stars because we were family and everyone loved it. There is something for everyone there were just looking for a quick and cheap eats. It's buffet so enjoy almost every style. The soft drinks are a bit expensive but there are unlimited or bottomless

It's OK, only an hour slot but it's just enoigh

Lovely food and good value for money... Came here with friends to celebrate 40th bday of a friend... !

Really nice staff, food is excellent unlike many all-you-can-eat buffets. The price is very reasonable and they even do a loyalty stamp system. I would definitely recommend; I took my parents there today.

Had a lovely meal and time for a retirement. Staff was lovely but the bouncers on the door made us feel like criminals. Not asking but demanding that we show our receipts or we would not be leaving the premises. Bear in mind we was all women in our 50/60s and the meal was pre paid. One of the bouncers was even rude to a manager in front of us. Truely shocking behaviour.

Always a good selection of food from most walks of asian culture, theres even a carvery at this restaurant if you're looking for something a bit closer to home! Staff are polite and fantastic even when they're serving a table of 20+. The prices are affordable and the service is priceless.

One of my favourite places to eat out, staff and friendly, polite and helpful, prices of food is affordable. Food is great and huge range to choose, dessert bar was my partners favourite with a great choice of desserts to choose from. Hopefully taking my Twin girls for there 18th birthday.

Food was amazing, really surprised at how well the food was presented, from what I eaten no processed meat with good sized portions within the buffet. I mainly stuck to Chinese food which were cooked perfectly and not dried out (noodles, rice etc..) will definitely be returning.

Great restaurant, a little noisy and not necessarily suitable for a first date, as you can't talk. Staff are pleasant and reasonably priced. Tables are close. Buffet is very deverse. If you leave hungry, it's your fault. Tip; if you work in the city check out staff discounts.

Great atmosphere, polite staff and delicious food. Feel like everyone I come here I find something new that I like. This time around I absolutely fell in love with the grilled pineapple with cinnamon sauce 😍 I'm kind of disappointed that they no longer do NHS discount and I was also kind of disappointed that the teppanyaki station didn't have anyone on there for ages and I also wasn't happy when I received a really small piece of steak.
Besides that, I'm happy with my visit.

Neither here nor there, its just OK. Nothing for vegans apart from chips and salad which is poor for such a big buffet place

A vast selection of different cuisines. Quality of the dishes is good (though not impressive). Reasonable pricing. They have a bouncer at the door to whom you have to show your receipt as proof of payment, which makes the place a bit uncomfortable.

My favourite place to eat! It's a great place to try new things as you can eat as much as you want. Lunchtime is the best time to eat here as it is cheaper. If you go for around 2pm there's no need for a big breakfast and you won't be wanting any dinner. (Good value for only £9:99!)

I like this place as it can suit 3 fussy eaters for a meal in town with no issues. There is such a variety of foods available, we can all enjoy different styles such as pizza, sushi, ribs and curry. My family can even try new cuisines and new foods should they wish. The all you can eat is great as it's the same price whether we are peckish or ravenous. There are plenty of tables so always room without having to book a table. The drinks menu is quite extensive for the style of eatery, and they have an option of a refillable glass. My only criticism of Cosmo is that the tables are quite tightly packed together which gives a feeling of being crammed in rather than being seated in comfort.

Long que's but I guess it's normal for such a popular place. Food is nice and the choice is ok, cleaning is not good, food all over the floor and dangerous, especially when pregnant and not seeing it worried me.
We didn't order drinks, the waiter said we ordered and we had to tell her 3 times it was not ours , but when we went to pay were charged for drinks, finally after telling them again it was sorted.

Nice place. I would give 5 stars rating but due to the lack of their service I think 3 would be enough. Food is very nice. Wide varity of options. Everything was great. It was a bit busy and noisy. Staff need to get some more training on how to manage their stress in busy times. They were not professional. I recommend it but not in busy times.

Brilliant selection of food - a varied choice and there something for everyone and something for all ages. Food was very tasty. One small complaint would be that the did see a hair in one of the sauce pots however everything else was very clean.

Do you like to eat a truck load of food?
Do you like to eat a wide variety of food?
Do you like to drink bottomless soft drinks?
Are you capable of eating three plates worth of food within a two hour window?
Are you willing to induce your food coma?
Are you willing to compete with your peers for most food consumed?
Do you actually not want to talk to your mates and use the valid excuse of food gathering to escape their mundane conversations and tedious voices?
Do you want to take yourself to your food happy place?
Well if the answer is yes then Cosmo may be the place for you. It might seem expensive at first but if you're planning on going somewhere for starters, mains and pudding then Cosmo is probably cheaper. I ruddy love it!

Some dishes sub par, only good thing was the service

Depends how much you want to eat really. The more you eat, the better value. Food is better than other buffet restaurants , you can see them cooking a lot of it fresh in front of you but the deserts are as though they were bought from cost co and cut up small. Chocolate fountain is delicious but not enough things to dip, only marshmallows.
C. F.
The food freshness is good considering it's a buffet, a good choice.
I have uploaded pictures of the allergy menu here on Google for others to see; of my previous visits being a coeliac disease sufferer I have only once been offered this menu telling me each food allergen- bad staff training I'm guessing. It would have been easier to simply label each food at each station rather than having to flick through the booklet at each station but hey, at least they made the effort.

Beautiful restaurant, beautiful food. As a vegan, I was quite happy with the food available to me They advertise, they will cook vegan dishes for you, but it would he nice to have 1 or 2 vegan dishes readily available , ie sweet and sour or blackbean sauce with tofu. rather than just having sides.
The food is clearly labelled as to what allergens the dishes contain, if you have perfect eyesight....The labels really need to be a bit bigger. Overall a great experience. No pressure to hurry, or aggressive security that other people have said.

Visited here today with husband and grand children. Very disappointing!! As the waiter cleared our dishes away, he asked if everything was ok. I said all the food was lukewarm, to which he replied “ that is because you were here early” I believe he meant it was put out before opening and would have cooled down by the time we got there. Not good enough!!! I don’t think we shall eat here again.

Very busy restaurant but excellent service from all the staffs. Went there yesterday with work colleagues for leaving party, we were more than what we booked but Rabin( I think), the manager was brilliant, he managed to find us a table for 22 even though he was very busy. We'll done to him and his team. And food was delicious.

I really like eat in Cosmo,a big variety of food.

Only the Indian food section is halal which is the main reason I have given it an average rating. Pizza needs improving it was basically a thin slice of bread with a tiny bit of tomatoe and cheese chucked on. Seats and tables were too close together. Needs some improvement but was ok for a quick, cheap (ish) lunch.
S. K.
It's ok for what it is, which is a Jack of all and master of non. If you want a wide variety of foods all on buffet then head here. Expect to eat lots I'd you want good value. Aside from that service is excellent and quick. The place is clean and well ordered.

Visited on a busy Saturday teatime. Food was ok but had to queue several times to get at popular dishes. I think the price is a bit steep, I know I didn't get my money's worth, but it's quick and cheerful.

A 77th Birthday lunch, received with courtesy, nothing was tomuch trouble. Food tastay but could be hoter. Desserts a must have. So leave room for seconds.
Thanks for an enjoyable temperance.

Staff here were attentive and knowledgeable of the foods available and we were made to feel welcomed.
A great selection of foods available this month and also have a Christmas main meal available too.
I was pleasantly surprised and had a great evening.

Eat as much as you like for 15.99 evenings. Had a surprise party here for my 60th food from around the globe. All excellent, caters for all ages. There are stairs up to the restaurant also a lift for the less mobil. Staff very efficient clean away used plates so you have a clean one everytime you go get food.

Food is great, selection is wonderful. Height restriction with my tall 10 year old is inflexible. HAD security today in front of entrance door, small bald one stood in middle of swinging door and refused to move to make exit easy for my wife, aunty and our kids, when I looked at him confused he tried to glare before looking away. Perhaps customer service training is in need. I usually rant about how good this place is, but this just seemed to silly not to mention.
