Reviews of Pieminister

One of my favourite restaurants. The menu has a great selection of pies and sides at a fair, competetive price. Customer service is fab - never had a problem here. If they had a loyalty scheme, I'd have a stamp every couple of weeks.

Used Pieminister Nottingham on more than one occasion and it has been a pleasure but this evening it felt that something less pleasing happened. We wanted to place an order for delivery but it was unclear whether gluten free was an option on meal deals as my partner has coeliac disease. I called to ask about this and was brusquely told "we don't handle deliveries, you'll have to go through our delivery partners, even though I was seeking clarity on the menu options. When I responded that I would like to place an order for pick up instead, the response was a brisk 'OK' and the member of staff hung up. Because the menu is very good we placed an order online and when it came to pay there were additional fees including delivery (fair enough though I'm not aware of other restaurants charging for nearby delivery) and a service charge which you cannot opt out of. I paid £26 for you providing the service of cooking the meal, what is surcharge for? Then a screen asking for a tip. One or the other, guys!
Hope the pie is tastier than the ordering experience.
Unfortunately the experience did not improve. I ordered the Kate and Sidney and the content was incinerated. Not sure it's supposed to crunch like that.

Good pie, 3 vegan options, good selection of sides. Comes with plenty of gravy which you can add as much of as you want.
I like that the sides all come in little side pots as I was concerned about everything running together.
Really nice to see vegan mash! And even a vegan milkshake option, as well as a sundae.
k. r.
One of the good places to go for a lunch in city centre. This is one of the best places where you can find a good number of vegan pie varieties. They have all varieties of pies ranging from vegan to beef. In addition to the tasty pies the food arrangement is also really looks nice. They do dinein as well as takeaway. The ambience is really good to fit different size groups. There is toilets 🚻 facilities on premises and can be used by customers. Most of the the place is wheelchair accessible ♿.

Food was superb!
One staff member made it abit of a poor experience! (Female) she was very unprofessional, you could tell she didn't want to speak, smile or interact with us, thats fine ive come to eat haha......
There was a guy waiter who was very nice polite and pleasant 👍
You can't have everything I suppose!
I would definitely recommend for food!! Just don't visit when misery is on shift :) haha

looking for something a bit different for our party we came across Pie Minster. entering the restaurant we was greeted by a lovely waitress who was very accommodating and found us a table for our party of 6. after settling in Rob introduced himself and was very friendly instantly making us feel welcome. throughout our stay Rob and the the staff were very attentive and answered any questions positively we had about the menu. the food was fresh, tasty and well presented. overall we left feeling very satisfied and will be returning in the future thanks.

Visited here Friday and the service was fantastic the chef and waiter both interacted with me which was great to see. I love the decor on the inside (a little dark) but other than that its great! The food was just what it says in the name Pieminister beautiful made pies with sides to match. I havent visited since the lockdown so really enjoyed it but I do wish the onion rings were back on the menu as I really enjoyed them here before the pandemic.
Big thumbs up from me
V. T.
Booked easily online, staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Really enjoyed the pie and got the pie and 2 sides deal for £9.50 (with upgraded side of fries for £1, I think). Didn't get any, but they had many vegetarian/vegan options. Would come back.
C. A.
The food and service was excellent. The pies were filled to the top. They even have some gluten free options
C. C.
I love it here. Great student discount. Food is amazing and staff are lovely.

Not what I expected going by the name, food presentation was good, but the pie was a let down, filling was very minimal, didn't even come across a chunk of steak , just a few pulled or shredded bits, but as we were hungry and tired after moving my daughter to her new accomodation, we saw this diner and thought these guys must be the experts in pies, but unfortunately did not live up to expectations. Service was a little slow , chips and the peas were fine, prices certainly high when the fillings not adequate....
C. P.
Always had a lovely meal, the prices are great and staff are really friendly. Rob looked after us well all evening. Can't wait for another visit and more Pie!
R. N.
I had the Moo&Blue Pie and it was delicious. Love coming here every time I'm in Nottingham ❤️
C. B.
Great service. Reasonable price. Pies we're amazing but sides ie mash we're small portions. Don't order halloumi fries as for almost a fiver you get 5 fries. Very tasty but not much to show!
D. S.
This place was absolutely fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive, the beer was good but the food was amazing. The pastry for the pies was crispy but soft and full of flavour. The onion rings were lightly crispy and seasoned to perfection. We had the loaded fries with gravy and the cheesy mash. We left full and satisfied with everything. Ease of access, price and service, absolutely recommended
R. R.
Very good food and a peaceful atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable too. Not too much variety on the menu but if you're in the mood for pie you won't do much better than here.
M. L.
Such a great experience. The poor waitress and the cook was alone that day, and despite being so busy we still got brilliant service and the waitress was so sweet! Will definately visit again
M. B.
Food excellent. Staff very efficient and friendly. Please note that I'm suggesting your next franchise be Coventry as I will certainly be a regular. Also found out I can buy the pies from several online outlet's. Only critism is the balance between meat and vegan tipped a little to far towards the vegan side. Amazing pies
B. G.
Amazing Pies as Always!
Very filling with the sides and always surprised with how good the value for money is.
Great service
Z. P.
OMG pieMaster is the BEST😍I hope we'll be eating there again. Emma served us and was a delight, efficient and quick, perfect server. The pie, where do I start, I had the Fungi chicken, other had the No Moo pie and the steak and kidney, all were fabulous, sooooo tasty, the pastry was perfect and the filling..... Yummy. The cocktails were just as lovely. Price was an added bonus. All round a great place to eat and drink
K. A.
Great first experience! Food was really good. Service was great and helpful. The decoration is pretty cool.
I had the Chicken, ham, leek and thyme pork over cheesey mash with gravy and a side of coleslaw. It was all really good. For desert the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream.
I will be back for sure!
B.
Beautiful food every time, and can I just say that Kas and Emma are brilliant. Kas is an absolute legend and the service was fantastic. Your staff are a credit to you and the food is delicious!
N. S.
Awesome meal will definitely revisit next time in Nottingham
D. H.
Lovely staff, welcoming and great service
I had the kale, and spinach pie with cheesy mash and peas
It tasted delicious and was well filled and decent pastry
My only quip would be I could of done with a bit more of the delicious cheesy mash, overall very good
J. G.
Pie and mash, you might say so what makes it different? Well my meat was cooked in red wine which was also in the gravy. It was absolutely delicious! Not only that, we were welcomed in as if we were long lost family. You must go!!! The sweets were good too.😋
R. S.
Food is simply superb. Party of 4 and we each had a different pie of which all of them were fantastic. Full of flavour and each pie was full to the brim. Looking forward to our next visit!
A. M.
June 2018 visit
Pros
Quality customer service
Good vibes, nice decor
good music in the
Pies were amazing. We had the free ranger and mexicow (not too spicy at all)
Not pricey
Cons
On a busy high street front
F. P.
Good variety of pies on the menu. Was looking forward to a lovely warm lunch. Not being a gravy fan( shock, horror!!) I don't generally use it. But sadly the pie was rather dry so had to pour some on. Actually spoilt it for me as marred taste of pie. Needed a sauce in the pie. My pie was mainly chicken,so maybe a lighter chicken gravy would have suited? Would return, but for 2 for 1 cocktails or even their own escape room experience!
P. Q.
If i could i would gave you more stars
It was best pie in my life, definitely gonna come back. Lovely staff
N. S.
We went here for an early lunch this week and the staff were so friendly. Their menu is fantastic at catering for people with allergies and intolerances. The decor is so nice.
A. F.
Brilliant food and service. Friendly staff. As with everywhere else some menu items unavailable due to supply issues but nothing major missing from the menu. Would definately reccomend if you're looking for a warm filling meal.
C. W.
My pie was good, as was the parsnip fritter, shame about the rest.
Dry shriveled peas and mediocre mash served with flat lager left it as a pretty mediocre experience and their card machine wasn't working meaning I had to go to the cash machine so I could pay.
Y. H.
Very nice food. Had the Sunday special with vegetarian pie. Friendly staff. Will go back.
E. A. M.
Great service, staff were super nice and friendly. The food was excellent. Kas was very helpful with the suggestions on cocktails.
L. H.
Delicious top quality pies with Vegan options also. Mash. Peas, mushy, halloumi fries, plenty of gravy. Highly recommend.
M. R.
First visit and won't be the last. Had A meal deal with the pie, mash, minty peas with gravy. I had the Kate and Sidney and the wife had the fungi chicken.
We both enjoyed them very much and the service was so fast. We did go very early evening so maybe it isn't always like that but it gives us another sorry option for pre theatre etc.
Also noticed a good kids menu so would like to take the boys there 1 time also
K. W.
First time visiting on a Sunday afternoon! Had the Sunday special was lovely
M. H.
Food was incredible. Service was a little slow but great food and very reasonable prices. I ordered the MooDog pie with Mothership. Very nice! Pie packed with fillings.
R. R.
Brilliant fast service with super friendly and helpful staff. Food was served quickly and was delicious. Special mentions to Rob for his great help. Definitely recommend
C. S.
Great service and quality of drinks/food, would definitely go back for bottomless brunch we loved it :)
T. S.
The gluten free options here are amazing and so delicious! Will definitely be returning shout out to Kas who informed us about this over e-mail
C. M.
Had the most amazing first time here- our server, Kas, was an absolute star and really amplified the experience for us!!! Thank you so much guys :)
J. M.
We visited during RONA LOCKDOWN and the staff were all appropriately distanced and friendly. The food was very, very tasty and we left stuffed and content, if a bit sleepy from the tasty carb overload.
D. M.
Not bad but the pies were very dry and hard no matter how much gravy you put on it
G. S.
Brilliant pie good service would recommend
E. W.
Great service, we were served by Rob and he was fantastic. Very accommodating, plus the pies were lovely
L. H.
Such a good place to go for some decent comfort food. As a veggie it's so nice to have a decent pie and a selection of decent pies. Totally rate the Saag Pieneer. Unfortunately they'd run out so I went for a skillet. Totally not disappoint. So good. Prices are so reasonable and the staff are all so nice.
O. W.
Fantastic place just off Nottingham square with a diverse and engaging range of Food and pies (vegetarian available). Brilliant place and would highly recommend anyone to give it a go. Great Food, Great Staff, Great Prices.
K. P.
Just eaten here after not knowing anything of the place. We loved it, large selection of different pies to choose from, I had the Moo dog. The food was delicious and served quickly. Will visit again next time I'm in Nottingham!
E. M.
Great food and offers. I feel they could be better staffed on the weekends though, but that’s my only issue! With what little staff they do have, they make the experience lovely and the food and drinks come as soon as possible. Can’t go wrong with 2 for 1 cocktails either!
C. M.
I mean they do what they say. Pies! They are pretty good as well. Side of mash and gravy topped with pigs in blankets or fried halloumi. I can only speak to the Beef and Stilton but it was ace. Decent pastry that felt like it was not made in house, which i would hope for from a place that does ome thing. I maybe wrong but that's the impression I got. Stilton flavour came through well and other pies with Stilton can be overpowered by gravy, this kept that distinctiveness. Nice staff.
R. S.
Attempted to order click and collect through the website / Good60. Displays available click and collect spots, takes your order, has you make an account, and then says no slots till tomorrow.
Had time to eat in, nice setting and great food. No physical menus at the moment led to a misunderstanding of my order, but good grub regardless.
C. M.
A tad expensive but these days most thing are. Had a pleasant lunch with daughter. We both enjoyed our meal sitting outside. It was cold but sunny. I shall return to Piemaster. It is worth a visit with lots to choose on the menu.
P. N.
As a Wiganer, it was my duty to try this place while in Nottingham. I'd had a Pieminister pie from Waitrose in the past so I knew it would be good, but this was another level. Choice of pies is extensive, with a range of sides. Great deals for making it into a meal. Plus this place is licensed - who doesn't want a great pie with a nice beer?? My pick was the Deer Stalker (venison and red wine) with slaw.
C. L.
First came across this incredible food chain in London and haven't looked back since. Food is always delicious and nicely presented. There are large booths or bigger tables near the front of the restaurant. Staff are friendly and look professional in their Pieminister clothing.
Z. R.
Amazing food, quick welcoming service. We left stuffed and happy. Highly recommend their Christmas selection (and their pigs in blankets!)
T. C.
Great place for quick pie with a good selection and decent selection of beers. Particularly good groups I found.
A. L. P.
Incredible service from Kas and Emma - super lovely, friendly and efficient! 10/10 food and a real good time!
Y. K.
Love the food and the chef is very good.
P.
First time I've been to Pieminister in a couple of years and I was really impressed with the vegan selection of pies coupled with the kind and courteous manner of the staff member who dealt with us.
I'll certainly be going back.
The photo doesn't do the pies justice. It is two half's of different pies. 🙂
C. R.
Lovely light pastry and very filling. Only thing was a bit dark in there but otherwise brilliant.
D.
If you're partial to a pie, you need to come here.
This was a very good pie indeed - the mash was especially good. Coupled with the fair prices, I will heading back here the next time I'm in Nottingham.
j. h.
Banging pies and sides, worth the money. Staff are lovely and great atmosphere.
A.
We called in on our shopping trip first time . We were greeted by Lauren who explained they were having issues at the time . We said we were happy to wait till things calmed down . The service we got was second to none . Hats off to Lauren for getting through the situation calmly and professionally with the remaining staff she had
D. B.
Excellent food good service and well priced will definitely be returning
d. H.
Lovely food even lovelier staff.
N. T.
Never had a bad time here, always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Portions are huge and I fully recommend the loaded fries🙏
M. H.
Lovely pies. Relaxed setting. Good service Will definitely go again.

My first visit to Pieminster was with a friend on a
busy Saturday. We weren't in too much of a rush
and so this was fine with us, and the quality of
the food we chose was amazing. (I loved my Moolin Rogue pie-, British beef steak, dry cured bacon and red wine pie). But the most
noteworthy part of our visit was the outstanding
service of the lady who served our outside table.
I don't know your name, but your efforts were very much appreciated.
Z. N.
I had my first pie ever there.
It was amazing, and the waiter was really helpful and guided me through exploring what ab English pie is 🥧. Viva la English pie.
T. H.
So glad to be able to eat at Pieminister Nottingham again. Takeaway is just not the same, although still good. We always have a great meal here. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Had my all time favourite the Heidi (sweet potatoe and goats cheese) with fries and I wasn't disappointed. Won't be long before we return.
E. S. (.
We had an amazing time!! Bottomless brunch we certainly bottomless, drinks were flowing and never had to ask for a top up! Adam was an amazing host, thank you for an amazing day. Food was lovely, would 100% recommend 😊
N.
Had these pies before but didn't realise they had restaurants.
Food was great, fries are some of the best I've had! Friendly service great atmosphere. Loved the decor too.
W. P.
mainly been ordering online with home delivery, but still haven’t been disappointed before. very tasty pies, large selection of vegan/ vegetarian options, large portion for reasonable price. great dinner option!
C. J.
Absolutely great service and some of the best pie I have had
M. F.
Really good menu, lots of vegan choices.friendly staff.highly reccomend for all you pie lovers.pietastic😀
R. A.
Great place to eat out. Very nice ambiance and the food could not be more delicious. Staff is very nice.
D. T.
Good atmosphere. Food great value, very tasty and wine was very nice as well. Service was very good, food came out hot.
C. C.
Lovely place, friendly staff but the food is not for me all because I am to funny when it comes to my meal. All my friends love it.
E. Z.
Great pies and sweets but extremely slow service. Still, worths the visit.
H. K.
Yummy food, really tasty and deep filled pies, reasonably priced too for city centre, can get a pie and side for £7.50. Would recommend!
M. M.
Gorgeous pies, I had the steak and blue cheese which was delicious, they do a good vegetarian/vegan option too
M. L.
Excellent service Perfect Food
S. B.
Great food. Great staff. A+ all round 👍
D. H.
Gluten Free pie was lovely as we're the 2.4.1 cocktails. Quick, friendly service and fab food...will definitely be back
P. M.
Good selection of pies for all tastes and dietary needs I had stake and ale pie really tasty and deserts nice would recommend
N. H.
Mixed experience here. Pies are awesome and full of meat. Sides pretty good too. Venue nice. However, service was slow and a tad chaotic despite having lots of staff. We were given pudding menu and when we eventually got to order were told that all the cold puddings (80% of the menu) were unavailable. When we ordered one of only two remaining puddings we were told that it couldn’t come with the advertised custard. Overall a great concept with nice food but service issues need resolving.
Following the posting of the review above I have had contact from the management team there who were very apologetic and explained the issues.
L. C.
Visited here for the first time on Saturday as my friends have told me how excellent this place is and I was not disappointed! We were greeted by a lovely gentleman that sat us down and was attentive to our needs during our entire visit I didnt catch his name but he is a true asset to your team will definitely be visiting again!
R. G.
Very accommodating staff, and lovely food!
J. O.
Friendly, polite waiter. Knowledgeable of vegan options and attentive throughout our visit. Food was lovely and the mains arrived promptly. Our dessert took what seemed like an excessive amount of time to arrive and our waiter had to come over twice to tell us that two ingredients were not in stock. A jug of water was also forgotten despite the restaurant not being busy at all. Although confused as to why the dessert took so long to prepare, it was enjoyable once it arrived. Overall a pleasant experience and we appreciated our waiter being so lovely.
R. C.
Fantastic pies (especially with the loaded fries) and the Pie P.A. (IPA) is worth a try, and then some
B. I.
Ladies toilets were all blocked and overflowing when I visited. We were sitting in a corner so it wasn't visible to the staff. Had to wait a while before making our order.
P. R.
Been to pieminister in Nottingham a few times had nothing but excellent service the staff were always polite and friendly.
The food was perfect and the drinks were great.
Excellent value for what you pay.
R. C.
Really good food!! You guessed right, they do pies... if you’re reading this you’re probably thinking you make a half decent pie but they’re actually really good here and doesn’t taste unhealthy like a lot of other restaurants! And reasonably priced
D. S.
Pieminister was recommended to me by a friend, and I can see the reason why. The young gentleman that was working Kaz (I hope I got his name right) was really attentive to our dietary requirement's and asked how everything was and our plans they really engaged with us which made us feel valued as people the food was delicious I had a mooless moo and got to say since being vegan this is the best alternative to meat.
Will definitely be returning for more Pie with Pieminister!
T. C.
Came yesterday this restaurant decor inside is really niche and the staff were really friendly the food came out and phwoor what a good pie that was will definitely be coming again the pasty was nice and crispy on a lovely bed of mash and im so happy they had the smokey beans proper topped it off.
L. G.
Loved it. We were wandering aimlessly on a very cold December day. This was a glorious find just off the square. Tasty, welcoming and delicious. Who knew you could get so many filling options for a simple pie. I went veggie and was delighted with my selection. My only sticking point was the coffee (wouldn'torder again), and that there are not many tables, so they had to turn people away. Other than that highly recommend.
L. S.
Went for my dad's birthday and we had a fantastic night. The staff were lovely, service was fantastic they really looked after us the entire time we were there. Dad even got a card and candle in his pie which was a lovely touch! Everyone loved their pies the price was reasonable and there was so much food!
Would definitely recommend and visit again! Thank you so much for making our night so special ♥️
O. F.
Very nice pies
K. H.
A great range of pies and sides to choose from, including vegetarian and vegan. My pie tasted amazing and the mash and gravy were lovely too. The only slight disappointment was the time taken to receive our food - 45 minutes after we had ordered. We would definitely eat there again though!!!
D. P.
Great selection of pies and sides to go with the pues
Z. G.
Rob was very friendly and helpful, great atmosphere and lovely food
K. R.
Very friendly staff. SWMBO had a Chicken Pie Motherload, I had Moo & Blue Motherload + a Desert each, rinsed down with a bottle of Ros'e wine. Very nice.
S. A.
Great meal and awesome customer service, food was quick and just perfect temperature, altogether lovely atmosphere will definitely come again.
Shout out to Martin you was great man hopefully you'll be on when I come in again.
R. B.
Best pie in Notts. Waiter was lovely.
E. R.
Stopped by for cocktails in the sunshine and wasn’t disappointed! Ended up having dinner as was enjoying sitting outside and the food was fab, fries are especially delicious
A. V.
It was a very delishious place, but unfortunately they were out of chips, baked beans, and ice cream. Still would return to try again.
A. S.
We visited here on 27th April at 5pm. We had reserved a table so we’re shown straight to it, drinks ordered and food ordered. Service was a little slow with drinks but nevertheless they arrived. Food arrived shortly afterwards and wow the food was amazing! One of the best pies I’ve ever had! All the group were happy with the mains. As we requested the bill the fire alarm sounded and everyone was escorted professionally and safely out of the restaurant. Staff dealt with this extremely well and I will certainly be returning for more amazing food at a very very good price. Thank you very much!
D. M.
Fantastic flavoursome pies, great selection even in a global pandemic. Fast, friendly and attentive staff as well as following all of the safety guidelines. Cannot wait for my next visit. Couldn't resist taking a few pies away to tide me over.
S. D.
Nice food, great staff but goodness what a long wait! Kitchen problems presumably as there seemed to be no food coming out for ages. Our order took 45 mins to arrive but we did get an apology from the waiter.
Never mind, we'll give them another try at a less busy time of year as the food was very good.
C. H.
A different menu from the usual and was a little complicated as they do many inclusive deals. But once you understand the principle it is easy to work out the best deal for you. Staff were friendly and helpful, if a little preoccupied with their own conversations ax it was not busy, being early evening. Restaurant seems to try to be a club type bar too, which might mean it gets busy and noisy later. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and reasonably priced.
W. B.
Great Pie, service was slow considering we pre-ordered the meal due to being a larger group.
n. n.
The vegan pies, so tasty so delicious, every single time I visit! Highly recommend this place if you love pies!
They do normal pies as well as vegetarian ones too which I’ve heard from my friends ( non veg) are also very tasty 😋
D. P.
Service from Rob was excellent, delicious food.
J. M.
Wanted to try this place for a long time and was blown away by what a restaurant only doing pie could achieve. Good, filling and hearty grub that is definitely worth checking out. Staff were pleasant but could sometimes take a little time to take orders. All in all, a very good experience for those who love the experimental side of pub food in an atmospheric and trendy restaurant.
R. G.
Good but not great, side of beans was barely warm but we'd waited so long for the food to arrive we didn't bother to mention it. I ordered pie and mash, mash was a side but it came underneath the pie and not on the side, you may think this nit-picking but I am a self proclaimed picky eater in the way I will eat things in an order, if I had known the pie was served on the mash I would have asked for it be served on the side (it is a side after all). Service was slow, nobody came to check our food was ok or if we needed another drink and we had to seek out an employee to get our bill, all of this aside (pun intended) it was good food but not great food.
L. F.
Had a lovely meal out with friends on Sunday. Staff were great, food was delicious and everything was well organised. We will return!
C. H.
Let me start by saying the food is great here. I cannot fault the pies and the accompaniments. Prices are competitive and great central location in Nottingham. However the service was abysmal at best. Thankfully there is no service charge at this restaurant as I would have, for the first time in my life, asked them to take it off.
B. C.
Efficient service, food could have been warmer
V. H.
Great food however a couple minor issues. Ordered a side which never arrived nor was it on the bill at the end, (the order was reiterated before the staff member left the table and he confirmed my side order) was also going to order dessert but the other staff member took so long to get back to us that we ended up leaving with just paying the bill.
Food was very tasty and have recommended the place to several people, however the service could have been that bit better. The place was busy but the staff seemed to be crowding round the bar or kitchen a lot.
L.
What more can I say? Great pies. I found the staff to be very friendly. The decor resembles industrial metal and wood barn style with Broadway lighting and it works really well. The music playlist was just right and didn't distract from conversations which was a nice touch. The food was value for money and I left feeling relaxed and full.
L. D.
On arrival we were told that half the menu was unavailable..not great on a Saturday evening. After waiting 20 minutes to see the dessert menu. You guessed it only 2 options and nothing if you are gluten free. What food we had was nice but avoid the toilets..in the ladies one was out of order..one didn't have a toilet seat and the one remaining wasn't great. Don't think I will bother going again
S. C.
Pie was really good. Lots of options for vegetarians and gluten free too. Wasn't majorly impressed with the frozen yogurt dessert. Looking forward to trying out the other ones though next time.
D. G. (. b.
Lovely pie mash n minted peas.couldnt fault it n the waitress was lovely.
A. S.
Stumbled upon this place when the restaurant we'd booked had gas problems. I'm glad we did, it's a refreshing change to the usual menus found everywhere else. Great food, nice atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.
L. R.
The whole place is fantastic. The pies are very nice, good portion size and variety. I did go before the evening rush but service was very quick barely 10mins between ordering and getting mains and pudding. Only downside was the drinks, touch on the small size.
A. S.
Very nice place to have something to eat and drink, the staff and service was spot on, nothing was to much trouble for them, they made you feel very welcome, well call again when I'm next in the area 👍
n.
I know the pies and bought them in Waitrose (i hope they will pay me for this plug!)
Quite suprised to see they have a Cafe in Notts.
Very nice and very tasty. Nice, helpful staff and i liked the Vegan options.
Cuisine wise, it's something different from what's offered elsewhere. Highly recommended
R. K.
Excellent pies, great mash. Minted mushy peas just belting, and as for the gravy, well, yes please.
Only 4 stars as the beer/cider is high-priced, as are the desserts.
A. C.
The food was OK, but the staff and atmosphere really saved my meal. Very friendly wait staff and I loved the decor. I imagine it would be a great place for families to dine, but if you're more of a foodie you may be better off seeking pie elsewhere. The vegan and gluten free options were an unexpected bonus.
C. C.
Pie Sunday dinner style under a tenner and lovely desserts
S. G.
Very friendly environment. Rob is the best one there !
S. M.
Food was great, decent prices and the staff were very friendly and attentive. My wife has recently had to go onto gluten free diet and found that there were plenty of options that she wanted to have and rated the pie very highly. Will definitely go again.
D. E.
Great service, quick, friendly and helpful. Beans have been removed from ghe menu which is a shame but they were flexible and dished out extra chips instead.
M. K.
Great place for Coeliacs to visit. Thanks
W. B.
Very wide selection of good vegan options. The menu in general is also quite broad considering the name of the place just suggests pies. Food was tasty, as was the beer. Great mushy peas, top marks.
G. R.
Visited this place for lunch on 25.10.19
With friends.
It felt lovely and warm on entering as it was a cold rainy day.
Its decor is dark with exposed pipes and funnels very urban with wooden bench like tables.
We sat at table and soft leather padded bench like seat that could easily accommodate 6 people x
The menu is obviously all variety of pies .NY friends had Moo and stilton it speaks for itself. Meat and stilton cheese and I had a vegetarian one called the Heidi..it consisted of goats cheese .sweet potatoes and onion and kale I think ..anyway it was delicious and it came with minty peas on top with mashed potatoes around the circumference of the pie and a boat of lovely thick gravy. All washed down with a cup of tea..we couldn't resist the puddings and I had Mudpie with vanilla ice cream..I felt stuffed all day ..
The ladies toilets are upstairs and were not the best I have to say..black painted walls with very odd taps that consisted of copper pipes where the water came out with metal handles to operate on and off .
I definitely would go back for another meal.
Staff were very nice and friendly albeit very busy .

Yummy gluten free pie whilst out shopping, nice treat for a gluten free person. Staff friendly and helpful explaining my dietary options
K. D.
Loved it!! Food Delicious & staff lovely, all 3 stopped by our table for a chat, even the Pie Manager!! Great Atmosphere Welldone Guys... we will be popping in again soon 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
J. D.
Pieminister was fantastic on my first visit, but this time when I went with 5 members of family, we were left waiting for 20 minutes for our food and then left for another 20 minutes for the gravy to go with it! What is a pie without gravy I ask you?! Was unacceptable, but I left the stars this time because they gave me a 40% discount on the bill.
C. R. D.
Best pie I've ever had: sweet potato and goat's cheese. Great staff, great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Would recommend booking a table since it's always very busy.
T. W.
The food was very good though we had to wait a long time for it due to a mistake in the kitchen. Frustration could have been avoided if we were kept informed of the problem. The atmosphere was not great for a Xmas Eve lunchtime as there were few customers. The theme is very dark and I hope purposefully industrial and basic.
T. G.
Always have a great pie. Ace service.
J. M.
Good pie at great value prices. Stick to pie with mash and gravy as its excellent and the assorted sides and sticks didn’t add much to the meal. Recommend bottled beer as the draught ale wasn't up to much.
D. w.
Great restaurant, good value and very tasty food. Rob have great service. Highly recommended
S. E.
I like a good pie. Humble Pie & Mash in Whitby never fails to please and I was hoping for something in that vein here.
The good: service. The staff were cheerful, attentive without being familiar, and well informed about the menu. We didn't have to wait long for our order. The pies were perfectly OK; crisp pastry, good gravy and nicely flavoured filling, although that could have been a bit more generous. For £5 in the middle of town, not bad at all. Nice selection of beers and my tea was reassuringly strong.
The "meh": decor. Urban industrial chic, all exposed walls and concrete floors, quite at odds with what is essentially the comfort food on offer. My 20 year old son remarked that it could have been any one of a number of places. I've given up complaining about music, but - yeah, music. Give it a rest, everyone.
Toilets - up steep stairs with no hand rail. Seriously, a hand rail would be good. Come to that, so would some signage downstairs. Surfaces in the toilets not as clean as they might be either. I should add, so as not to put off potential patrons who might be deterred by stairs, that there is an accessible toilet on the ground floor.
The Bad: sides. £2.20 for a portion of mashed potato which would have struggled to fill a tea cup. The same for an even smaller portion of what claimed to be mushy peas. They were not the real thing, more like tinned peas mixed into mushy peas. Tasted OK but the price is ludicrous.
Overall, a pleasant enough lunch, and I absolutely can't fault the staff, but please - those sides. Silly money.
S.
generally satisfied with their food and service apart from their frozen dessert.
We ordered 'Toffee apple ice cream pie' and it tasted like it hasn't been defrosted properly because we could taste Icy apple bits in the pie. Then we thought it is definitely wrong.
We asked a server if that dessert was supposed to be frozen then the server took it away saying sorry. We just had to cancel it and they didn't charge for it but then another server came to us and said it is cold dessert and they are sorry we didn't like the dessert but there's nothing wrong with it. As we cancelled and didn't pay for it, we didn't want to make a big deal so just let it go at that.
When we were about to pay and leave, a guy looks like a manager insisted that the dessert is a cold dessert and we said it was frozen then once again he said yes it is a cold dessert.
We get the idea of cold dessert but not frozen pie with apple bits with actual ice in it. If that dessert is what it is as they said then their description of the dessert needs to be changed or explained before people order that dessert.
Perhaps, they need to change the way they make the dessert as I'm not the only one complaining about this on the google reviews.
Nobody would expect frozen apple pie in a proper british pie restaurant.
T. S.
Pie, mash and peas on a lads day out drinking, what more can I say.
T. M.
Yummy! Myself and my bestie went on a Friday evening, nice cosy atmosphere with good service - the vegan and veggie options are fabulous, I thoroughly recommend the Chooks Away vegan pie. The prices are very reasonable, will certainly be visiting again :)
a. r.
Quite a long wait but the food was delicious and the portion sizes were perfect, so it was worth it. The music was good and not too loud. Nice friendly atmosphere. They serve some nice craft ales too.
R. J.
Went out for the day in a group of 5 to play the escape rooms. We did a deal where you pay for the game and a meal. Which was £25. But you had to pay extra for your drinks. (Cola 250ml £2.60). They do have a cocktail offer on which is 2 for 1 £7.95 but have to be the same cocktail.(before 7pm and after 9:30pm). The food was nice (pie and 1 side order) but side orders are alittle small for what you are paying for e.g. if you wanted and extra side £2.75 for peas so that's £27.75 before a drink. If I was to go again I would pay for the game then the meal Seperate on the day when you get there as you are not really getting a good deal. The game on its own is £18. Then you can have a pie and 2 sides for £8.95 on the pie meals so that would be £26.95. I know it's only a few pounds but the drinks are not cheap so it all adds up. The staff where nice. The game was well set out. The only thing is I thought, it was alittle under staffed as we waited a while to be served and when we finished our meal we waited almost 20mins for the bill and we decided to get up to see if we had to a till we where told to sit back down to wait abit longer. All in all a nice day but I strongly suggest not paying ahead for the meal. They also have very good veggie and vegan options
J. B.
After having a pieminster pie in a London pub last year we wanted to try one of there restaurants so visited the Nottingham branch. The food was amazing, the prices were comparable to any chain pub bar meal. The service was great and atmosphere pleasent. Would defiantly visit again.
R. L.
I have had pieminister pies on two occasions, the first via deliveroo and the second in house. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, quantity and flavour when I had the deliveroo order, so much so that when I knew I was going to eat in house I ordered the exact same thing (matador pie, mash, gravy and smoky beans). It was therefore a disappointment when I did eat in to find that, as opposed to the generous portion in the deliveroo order, the mash that was on my plate was a relative slither hidden under my pie. A friend eating at the same time also voiced this about his own order. Others who had ordered chips appeared to have a more apt serving.
Nevertheless, the food was still delicious, the service was quite good for the group size, there was a nice atmosphere and I'd probably go back in future.
J. H.
We had a last hooray before lockdown number 2 and decided the best place was Pieminster.
We love the food here, and yet again it was perfect.
They are also a dog friendly restaurant.
P. S.
Visited on a Monday evening and it was quite quiet. Felt quite covid safe. Food was great and staff very friendly.
D. G.
Great food at decent prices. Really nice cocktails, which are even better when it's happy hour. Love eating here (although they can miss items that you have ordered, so keep an eye on it)
w. w.
Very nice food 😋 Excellent service 👌 👍 very polite 😀 👍 recommended please go and try it
S. L.
Well, wasn't that a lovely experience. As always, positive reviews from your brothers across the Trent. Beautiful Pie, beautiful sides and a lovely freebie gesture ... our favourite! See you again shortly. Cheers to Payday!
P.
Food was good, price was good. The music volume would stop me returning. You have to shout across the table and it's a horrible piercing sound. Manager needs educating (if there is one)
o. s.
Food is quite nice, standard pie minister pies. However they need to try harder to compete with other Nottingham places. The service is painfully slow, waitress got our drinks order wrong and the bill wrong, mixed up our pies. Not great when you're trying to grab a quick lunch with colleagues.
A. C.
Great place if you want a pie!
Inside is rustic/industrial and they have also recently opened a Sweeny Tod escape room.
The service is great and so are the halloumi sticks. My only quibble is I would prefer larger portions of sides with my pie.
T. R.
Went tonight and was absolutely amazing! Great food and great service!
Will definitely be going again!
S. C.
Went yesterday, nice atmosphere and great service. Ordered the Kevin which was lovely! Definitely recommend
D. B.
Average. Got there at the tail end of lunch. Pie warm, and clear most of it was microwaved. Waitress on her own and seemed to be glad when we were out of the door. Essentially it was ok.... but next time ill save 7 quid and get 2 pasties from greggs...
J.
Pies were nice, not amazing but for the price you pay it’s pretty good! Good service. The rosemary chips were delish!
A. W.
Food was okay but very salty... and even though it was pretty quiet when we went the staff, although friendly, seemed hard to grab their attention from there own chats..
Took a long time to be served so cannot see it working if really busy.
S. J.
Amazing service, incredible staff, outstanding food! Had the Moolin Rouge with mash and garden peas, absolutely incredible!
H. G.
The steak and Stilton Pie was really nice ! Decent value as well.
S. P.
Service is slow, we came out smelling strongly of chip fat (extractors not working?) and mushy peas we're weird. Not going back in a hurry, which is a shame because their pies are good.
P. H.
Great place to meet and eat. If pies are your thing then you should pay a visit to this place. Great pies, great atmosphere, great service and great beer. What more could you ask for?

Second time we have been to Pieminister. Another great experience. Sunday Best pies were delicious.

Food was great, decent prices and the staff were very friendly and attentive. My wife has recently had to go onto gluten free diet and found that there were plenty of options that she wanted to have and rated the pie very highly. Will definitely go again.
T. D.
Blood food
E. B.
Great pies, friendly staff and escape rooms. Just beware the slaw, it's not slaw, it's a bowl of red cabbage and that's it! Which isn't slaw! Otherwise very tasty menu with good veggie options.
W. X.
Really lovely food. Great service as usual. Would definitely recommend.
M. M.
Not a bad little specialist diner. It's one of a chain, and every eatery needs its gimmick these days; with Pie Minister it's the pie. Considering the pie's Britishness (there's no word for it in French: instead the contents are 'en croute') this is not such a bad idea. Admittedly the pie you get is overpriced (as are some other aspects of the menu), but it is not insubstantial, although not overlarge either. At least the sides are relatively cheap. I'm afraid the gimmickry extends to the naming of other in-house features, such as their own craft beer. A better sense of humour appears in the one vegan pie being named 'Kevin'. The decor is quite dark in this joint, the food quality fair to good; it's probably best for groups and the momentarily curious.
P. R.
Lovely food and great service! Shall definitely be going back again soon
J. C.
Quality place. Good for food and the escape rooms are a laugh as well.
E. B.
Great pies, friendly staff and escape rooms. Just beware the slaw, it's not slaw, it's a bowl of red cabbage and that's it! Which isn't slaw! Otherwise very tasty menu with good veggie options.

Great vegan pies. Love it
T. S.
Great value pies which tasted incredible, quality of service was exceptional with knowledgeable servers who were fast and attentive. Highly recommend the mothership pie meal with a pint of Bath Ales Gem.
E. H.
We ordered from here and we did not regret it!! The pork scratching are AMAZING! The pies are AMAZING! EVERYTHING IS AMAAAAZING! So worth an order loved everything and would order all the time if I lived in the area but just visiting a friend. AAAMAZZINGGGGGG! 😅😍
I. P.
Excellent service, comfortable surroundings and superb food. Highly recommended. Restaurant was Long Row in Nottingham.
M. B.
Excellent food, served politely, at a very reasonable price.
Well done Pieminster
E.
Very cool inside, nice atmosphere and love the fact that theyve teamed up with local BlueMonkey brewery but...I was a little dissapointed in the food and service. I had the chicken of aragon and it didnt have much filling. We also ordered the rhubarb pie and it was frozen.

Good music and atmos but no minister
A. M.
A very good pie shopnwith a wide range of pies and drinks. I had the vegan option and while the pastry was a bit tough the filling was spectacular. Well worth it.
M. L.
Quick services and kind waitresses, even though when I was there it was quite full. There is a really huge variety of pies from where you can choose and I enjoyed the drinks, both the alcoholic and non alcoholic ones.
R. S.
Christmas booking. Totally messed up the service and timings, we had no table. Food was good, which redeemed the evening. But booking was a pre order for 8pm we didn't get our mains until 11.15pm...
F. B.
Been twice now and both times were well enjoyed. Tasty pies for all tastes and dietary requirements, and a selection of humourously named drinks. Recommended.
P. H.
Great place to meet and eat. If pies are your thing then you should pay a visit to this place. Great pies, great atmosphere, great service and great beer. What more could you ask for?
C. P.
Popped in for a quick lunch, fast service and tasty pies. Fun decor too. A good range of food, as long as you want it in a pie format!
r. g.
Absolutely delicious. Had a lovely time, pies were tasty and the ice cream pies were yummy. Only down side is I could've had more mash, but that's because I'm greedy
A. E.
Can't recommend Pieminister enough if you're looking for great service and hearty food. There are loads of dietary options too like vegan, gluten free etc. Highly recommended - the Fungi Chicken pie is my favourite!
M. F.
Good food and nice atmosphere. Not too crowded either.
M. G.
Good place for a meal and a drink. Attentive service, if you go in a large group expect waits. Food is very good however, and there is a wide range. More for the twenty something's, family dining not recommended.
I. W.
Great selection of veggie and vegan pies! The mooless moo is my fave 😍
D. F.
Food was hot and tasty when it eventually arrived. Disappointed with the selection of beers. We've been before but it was definitely better the first time.
j. s.
Great 'pie & a side for a fiver'offer. This should be advertised in the window to share to the wider public. We loved the puddings too!
K. D.
This has a good selection of pies if your not a fussy eater but they can cater for the fussy ones. Great service but the only tiny thing was the onion rings aren't cooked in proper batter
J. S.
A pint with pie and mushy peas.
Don't really need say more.
M. T.
Delicious food and incredibly friendly and helpful staff, would definitely recommend it.
J. W.
Good atmosphere, friendly service. Food tastes good but wasn't convinced any of it was fresh. Think ... a posh "spoons". Am I expecting too much from pie mash and gravy?
O. T.
The food is great and I have been a few times. I always like to try the seasonal specials. Only small criticism is the service can sometimes be a little slow or impersonal.
E. Y.
Gorgeous food, great service. Level access and accessible toilet. Sadly, no ice-cream, today but otherwise no complaints!
t. t.
just came for a lovely meal, great service and food. thoroughly enjoyed it :)
L. W.
Lovely food, great lager, slow but friendly service
A. R.
Wow... what a pie.. what amazing and quick service... thoroughly impressed
G. P.
Lovely food, but the staff.. look I get it they are young but we waited for like ages for some one to come to the table for anything .
A. N.
Food very good but service pretty poor. Quite a few of the serving staff just stood around chatting or having a drink (not alcohol) instead of waiting on tables. A couple who came in at least 15 minutes after us were served first. Meal was well worth the wait
M. D.
Nice staff, clean and pleasant atmosphere, but overated food and beer expensive and not up to much.
P. R.
Great food friendly staff.
Love a good pie
M. B. (.
Service was very slow and they were not busy. Pre-ordered days in advance, arrived seated on time, 15 mins to take our drinks order and it took an hour for food to arrive and they still got 3 orders wrong (things missing)
T. L.
Pies are very tasty with some delicious combinations available but they're quite pricey and not filling - £7.50 for a pie and mash.
J.
Went to Pieminister for a Cricket Pie which was on a special menu at the time. It was absolutely fantastic and most of their pies are quite affordable. Staff is also very helpful and friendly.
R. M.
Its a excellent place in Nottingham have a pie and not break the bank at same time. Saag panneer version taste very good along with lemon grass tea
G. H.
Really nice staff and food was very nice, the place has an odd layout but it works well as you always feel you're in a private enough space.
M. B.
Wonderful meal at the Pieminister.. eaten a few different pies here, always try something different and never let down. Their sides are all wonderful too.
E. V.
Great food and service, plenty of choice and plenty of vegan inc drinks menu, very filling though so had to wobble back up the hill, enjoy!
D. L.
This was a bit of a discovery for us and the food was excellent, served promptly and the staff were cheerful and knowledgeable. It was certainly popular and it may be worth booking at busy times.
S. T.
Great pies and great service! The missus and I both had variations of the mothership, she had the Deer Stalker and I went for the MooDog. Friendly staff too!
T.
Really good food and drinks but they need a bigger selection of spicy pies. Other than that there was really great service and clean facilities.
P. H.
Great food. A little expensive for what it is. Quality is good. Lots of upsell on your order, some may like this, I would imagine the majority don't.
M. M.
Second visit here . Very friendly ,we did have a bit of a wait for our food, but it was very busy time. Food worth waiting for as it was delicious. Will certainly visit again next time we visit Nottingham.
T. o. g. _.
So good, and great service.
I'm allergic to dairy and I'm not ill so I'm happy
Plenty of vegetarian options and there is an amazing vegan pie there as well
T. W.
The pies mash and muchy peas and of course lovely thick gravy were absolutely wonderful
Only trouble was i think a works party was in celebrating and it was very loud couldnt hear yourself think
m. c.
The most amazing pies I've ever tasted ! I live in Scotland but I will definitely go back for a brunch or two ... !
M. P.
It's nice if you like pies. If you don't there are some sides you could have but no other mains. The escape rooms were really good fun though.
M. E.
Tasty food, obviously only has pies
No vegan desserts though so lose a star for thar
R. F.
Table was dirty when we arrived and food didn't come out as fast as I thought it should do considering how quiet it was, but the food was lovely.
J. A. S.
They do veggie options +vegan options too. I had Kevin, was lovely+I thought, quite good value too. :-]
C. C.
Had the Mooulon Rouge pie with was excellent, the sides were really nice too. Very good price aswell will definitely be returning
J. t.
Pie was decent, but not homemade, mash was bland, and lumpy, gravy was too thin. I was expecting homemade pies and it seems it's all brought in. Shame really.
C. B.
A good pie, good flavours portions as expected in line with most franchises, service was polite and friendly. Good for a quick bite with speedy service.
H. W.
Great pies at good price. Two for one cocktails before 7pm. Service is usually good.
T. M.
Took my daughter for lunch here. Food was good, reasonably priced. Service from staff great, polite & friendly.
f. s.
Second time we have been to Pieminister. Another great experience. Sunday Best pies were delicious.
P. M.
Pie and mash with gravy. Craft beers and great cocktails in a warm setting. True British comfort food.
T. D.
Great atmosphere and great food especially, the gluten free range (would be great if this was expanded). Staff were friendly.
T. S.
Good service. Fantastic food I had. The fandango which on its own was enough for a light lunch.
D. A.
Food is better than the service standing in doorway for 5 mins with no greeting as she talks to chef
A. B.
Cold inside, staff friendly. The way they serve the pies on top of the mash is odd. For the price, its average food at best
D. B.
This place is ok. Not a great selection of pies which is kind of why you go there. I feel it's a bit of a 1 hit wonder
A. B.
Wonderful traditional pies. Industrial atmosphere, well balanced with traditional wood seats! Kind waitresses and delicious food.
M. P.
One of the best tasting meals I have ever had, I didn't expect much but boy was I wrong it was amazing
N. J. C.
Lovely food really enjoyed it although waited a long time to be served and to be honest customer service could be a lot better
B. H.
Great pie experience. Very tasty, hot, and staff were welcoming and attentive.
H. B.
Great food and lovely cocktails. Love the Heidi pie. Cocktails 2-4-1 before 7pm too :)
T. E.
Staff were very accommodating for a large group with not long for lunch. Food was served quickly and was very good, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
I. M.
tasty quick bite before heading on to the Rescue rooms.
S.
Every thing I had today was amazing. I just wish their dessert menu was Slightly bigger as I don't like anything on it.
N. G.
Great food let down by poor service, forgotten orders & stroppy staff when the place was not even busy.
j. n.
This is probably the best meal I've had since turning vegan, and the staff were lovely.
A. L.
The escape rooms are great fun, and with the deal a real bargain.
Add to that the friendly staff and the amazing pies it's a winner all round
J. E.
Really awesome food, shame they ran our of so many sides by lunchtime, but lovely lunch nonetheless.
K. B.
Long wait even though we pre booked and pre ordered but food was still good, wont stop me going back but they need more staff 3 wasn't enough.
L. X.
Great food. Couldn't eat it all. Was so stuffed I felt I would somehow go into a food coma! FIVE STARS!
S. F.
Can't complain great food at an affordable price the staff were friendly and welcoming 10/10 would visit again
H. o.
Slow to get our food out due to being busy but gave us free drinks to compensate. Food was really tasty.
C. H.
Interesting and unusual. Good pies and deal on cocktails served with a smile. Went two days in a row!
M. H.
Never thought of myself as a pie person, but I never say no to pies from here. Great range of pies, good selection of beers and smoothies.
R. B.
Fab food at good prices. Pies are delicious and the service is excellent. Won't find a better pie!
L. K.
Fantastic food ,amazing staff rushed off their feet with it being christmas but still had time to check everyone was ok
C. C.
A great place to have a nice pie. One person meal complete with drinks will costs in average £17 .
B. M.
Pies were excellent as always, the service was fast and the drinks were good. Looking forward to trying the escape room with a pie afterwards!
p. j.
Tasty food and a friendly modern place
S. H.
Great pies at very sensible prices. Sign up as a VIPie 24 hours before you go for a discount.
M. S.
If you love pie this is the best place to eat. Gluten free pies available too
T. P.
Home cooked food. The milkshake was the best thing. Nice atmosphere, heartburn central.
B. N.
Classy service from Robb.
P. B.
This was my first ever visit to Pieminister having the Fungi Chicken pie and Mash. It was excellent therefore I will definitely be visiting again.
A. N.
Good value, tasty filling food. Gluten free and vegan options and nice brunch option too.
S. W.
Amazing pies, really enjoyed the food. Service a little slow, but good.
S. W.
Terrible service, took ages to be served and had to ask everytime we needed something. Food was good though
J. M.
The pies are really tasty & they all come with mash and gravy. Who can resist a good comfort food?
J. M.
Good food, service is incredibly slow - left tonight without a desert because we couldn't face waiting longer!
S. S.
Thought I knew what a pie was... I was wrong. This place showed me how delicious proper pies can be! Excellent service and environment as well.
s.
Great vegan options. Service was friendly but crazy slow on a busy evening.

R. H.
Really good food and reasonably priced. I couldn't finish all of it I got so much!

Escape rooms are quite a challenge and you can enjoy some really good food before or after you try to escape.
r. t.
Amazing value on the fully loaded meal. Amazing pie too. Can't wait to come back
E. T.
Well worth a visit, I've been a couple of times now and loved the food both times
L. S.
Great food and service. Didn't know you could do so much with a pie!
H. S.
Had the gluten free pie. Was a lovely change and lovely food. Would go back
N. L.
Helpful and considerate staff who wanted you to enjoy the experience. I can't get over enthused about pie and mash! It was what it was.
w. s.
Excellent moo beef pie and mash, friendly staff and good atmosphere.
R. H.
Great, reliable good. Good prices. Vegan options and a new vegan lunch menu :D
V. B.
It was a fairly decent pie. But nothing to set it apart from any standard pub's pie. I was quite disappointed
C. S.
Great food. Service not so hot. I'd give it another go though!
A. C.
Love pieminster. Pies cater for vegetarian and meat eaters. Sweet potato chips are a must
H. M.
There was like 3 pieces of chicken in my pie. Food was ok.
L. N.
Great food, great service! I just wish there was one closer to home!
R. B.
Always a good selection of tasty & unusual pies & side orders
R. H.
Tasty and staff very helpful. Beer expensive, but where ain't nowadays. Would come again.😁
D. s.
Was lovely but pies were not very hot
Staff so kind xx
A. W.
Amazing pies, good bear and great service all for a decent price.
L. C.
Nice vibe inside and quick service. Pie wasnt as hot as i would like and i would prefer my mash to the side than underneath the pie
c. p.
Not what it used to be when it first opened.. .. Very average! Food needed to be hotter, soggy Yorkshire Pudding ... Very over rated unfortunately!
N. J.
I've always enjoyed the pies here, it's pretty quick service at lunchtime and the staff are lovely!
A. S.
The food was good the service poor
A. J. K.
A good restaurant, but it's usually crowded, especially over the weekends, so a reservation is recommended.
A. M.
If you want a pie then this is the place. Also not too pricey compared to some of Nottingham`s other restaurants.
D. W. (.
If you love a good quality pie, go here. The current beer selection is surprisingly good.
S. C.
Lovely food. Really friendly staff. Good disabled access.
L. H.
Nice staff nice pie
J. C. Q.
Fun place to spend an evening. They had good pies and equally good scape rooms.
A. S.
Great pie and good service, but it was freezing in there!
E. M.
It is what it says it is
Nice fast and affordable. Anough options to please most people even crust less pies!
J. H.
Pie and mac n cheese were both overcooked when I visited a month ago. Usually a good meal.
C. H.
Was okay. Food not bad. Cleanliness not great, particularly the men's toilets.
c. s.
Epic food, great service.
A. D.
Wonderful right from the decor to the staff to three location to the menu selections to the prices and the food. Top notch!
N. J.
Great gluten free options, really impressed with the menu.
