Nat is an amazing baker and we were delighted with our wedding cake and accompanying treats. She provided us with a comprehensive consultation, tasting session and designing our wedding cake (we loved the addition of the edible petals). We couldn't resist the banana and chocolate chip with maple syrup flavour (with lemon and raspberry and white chocolate tiers) and never leave behind the brookie! Everything was delicious and only crumbs left by our guests, we'll have to order our seconds.

We bought a wedding cake from Ruby Lous for our micro wedding in October. It was all a bit last minute so we just went for one of the 'collect a cake' options and it was honestly amazing and such great value! Nat was so helpful throughout the whole process and was genuinely really really lovely when we eventually did meet her. Since then I've ordered a treat box for a friends birthday (which I have been told was also amazing) and bought a giant cookie for Valentines day which was so tasty! Would recommend to anyone.

We ordered a 3-tier, semi-naked cake and cookie wall for our wedding and both were absolutely stunning. Our guests loved all the unique and delicious flavours. In fact, we didn't get a chance to save any of the cake as it was completely devoured! Natalie is incredibly talented and an absolute pleasure to work with from initial design and tasting all the way through to delivery and set up on the big day. Everything was faultless and we can't thank her enough for helping to make our day so special.

Nat was just fabulous from start to finish- the cake tasting was one of our favourite parts of our wedding planning, the communication was always brilliant and it was so easy to decide on our final designs. On the day, the cakes were absolutely beautiful, an incredible flavour and the icing was amazing!! Nat set up and decorated them beautifully during our ceremony so they were ready for when we returned from church , which was wonderful! And I absolutely highly recommend the cookie wall…. I would highly recommend Nat anytime! Nothing was too much trouble & she accommodated everything that we wanted for our wedding day, as well as being beautifully decorated & incredibly delicious! Also, when we had to reschedule our wedding date due to Covid she sent us a little gift of cakes which was just lovely. And there was hardly anything left at my wedding as the guests loved it! Natalie is an incredible individual. Not only did she create our dream wedding cake back in May 2017, she also hosted a dream bake/cake decorating experience back in February 2019. My lovely husband gifted me this amazing 121 time with Natalie for Christmas. I was not disappointed! Not only did she share her expertise in cake decorating, we also created Macaroons, posh chocs and merrienges in a matter of 8hrs. Lunch was provided which was divine. Natalie also created a lovely take away cake decorating pack which put the icing on the cake and was a lovely surprise! Cannot recommend a day experience with Natalie enough. It's certainly one to remember and have taken away some skills that I still use today. Thanks Natalie you truly are a cake legend!

Picking a wedding cake maker when you’re marrying a chef is never going to be easy! However Ruby Lou’s made it so. Matthew and I shortlisted three bakers and arranged cake tastings with each. We both fell in love with the fact that whilst Natalie’s cakes tasted homemade her style was anything but! She produces modern, beautiful works of art with subtle details. Matthew and I chose a tonal textured style cake with three tiers. Lime as the bottom tier, this was not on Natalie’s menu and she bespoke made this for us as I love limes and as a nod to my parents’ birth country of Jamaica. The middle tier was golden syrup, which reminds Matthew of his childhood memories baking with his Mum in Ireland. The top tier was lemon simply because Matthew and I both like lemon cake. Each tier looked stunning and tasted amazing. I’d highly recommend Natalie.

We sought out Nat to make our wedding favours as we’ve had he cookies and cakes before and have always been blown away! We asked for individually wrapped cookies for each wedding guest and honestly, they were PERFECT. They tasted incredible and they were wrapped so beautifully. They were of such high quality we were asked by pretty much everyone where they could get more. Such a wonderful addition to our day! We decided not to have a wedding cake but if we did we would have 100% got it from Nat, her cakes are also to die for!

We wanted the sweet treats for our wedding to fit with a particular theme and Nat was only too pleased to cater to suit our requirements. She was full of enthusiasm and design ideas and would even include suggestions on how best to display the treats to fit with our theme. When all the treats were laid out on the table, it looked fantastic and they tasted wonderful as well.

While onsite building Nat and her family a lovely multifunctional space, she plied us with cakes and treats. Every single one tasted as good if not better than the last. We went to see Natalie to design our wedding cake back in 2016. We had a vague idea of what we wanted, but couldn't quite put it on paper. Within about 30 mins Nat had drawn what was in our heads!! We also asked her to do our wedding favours and still get complimentss about them. I cannot recommend Nat & her incredible talent of baking enough. I first met Nat in 2017 when I was searching for someone to make my wedding cake. At the tasting my family & I were blown away by the delicious cakes, macarons & cookies that Nat had made. Sadly I didn't secure the date and missed out on having Nat make my wedding cake. Since then Nat has made my baby shower cake, a celebration cake for the arrival of my baby and just recently my daughter's first birthday cake as well as cakes and macaronsfor other celebrations. All have been made perfectly and I even trusted Nat to surprise me in her creations as I knew whatever she made it would be amazing. Thank you Nat xx

Thank you, thank you, thank you! After booking the venue, cakes and cookies were the second thing we booked! We secured Yummy Little Cakes over a year before our wedding, simply because after meeting Nat, we knew she would be the perfect person to work with! Not only did she create a phenomenal cake – 3 tiers of lemon drizzle, chocolate fudge with peanut butter ganache, stick toffee pudding cake - which we used as part of our dessert, but she was up for the challenge of creating a display for cookies. Our guests loved the cake and the cookies were described as best favours ever. We couldn’t thank you enough Nat. And I think someone will be getting a cookie subscription for Christmas… x

I’ve been a fan of Ruby Lou’s cake pots for a while now, picking them up at every Fabulous Places market I go to. My latest sweet treat arrived in the post yesterday and I’ve found my new favourite flavour- Peach & Prosecco! Amazing! The sponge was so soft with a gorgeous delicate peach jam and super light buttercream. Order if you can- you won’t be disappointed.

We met Nat with her amazing cakes at a wedding fair at The Pumping House. She quickly got us booked in for a tasting with her and everything was incredible, it was hard to choose between the flavours! She sat with us and listened to what we wanted and later sent out her sketch via email. Fast forward to our wedding day, she worked well with our florist and placed some beautiful flowers on the cake. We had so many compliments on the design and the taste of all of the layers. We got to take some home from the wedding and it lasted well for a week afterwards. Basically, get booked in with Nat. She and her cakes are incredible! X
