Went here for first time after reading reviews. What a little gem! Family run. Fast service, really pleasant atmosphere. Coffee is piping hot and delicious. Food is absolutely stunning. And the desserts and pastries are to die for! Highly recommended. We will be regulars now!

Delicious ham and cheese omelette baguette. Really tasty. Tuna mayonnaise and egg toastie was really good too. And excellent black Americano coffee. I had to have a second cup! I'm not surprised that it had a constant supply of customers in the restaurant and in the bakery. Looking forward to another visit soon .

Very good price breakfast and tasty food. Lots of Portuguese cakes and pastries to choose from and other Portuguese food. They also sell Portuguese products in store. Worth a visit and have a Pastel de nata as well!

This is a gem of a restaurant. Expect freshly baked goods and genuine Lisbon food. A family run bustling business. Everything has been thought of and it’s a great spot for lunch, coffee or a snack, I highly recommend taking some of the items from the bakery home especially the custard items.

Popped in for takeaway pastries. The pastel de nata were so good, we returned the next day to eat in. Tried a variety of cakes and pastries. What a treat! Especially the Pao de Deus, with ham & cheese, as recommended by the waiter. Warm and friendly staff. Very reasonably priced.

Great Portuguese cakes, food, beer and wine. Service is familiar and professional. Not in the most touristic part of town but is worth a visit. They have special dishes on weekends, I only had the chance to try the regular menu and the cod and steak sandwiches are top quality full of flavour and meat.

Friendly attentive staff. I can only vouch for the coffee. It is really rich and strong just like a great coffee should be. The Portuguese pastries look amazing and they also do a fantastic breakfast. Authentic Portuguese groceries are also available. You can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air if you prefer. Effective Covid precautions are in place.

As a sicilian, when I have portuguese stuff for breakfast (even the Espresso is quite good), I always feel at home. I didn't have any lunch/dinner yet but I am sure they won't disappoint me. Very good quality of food

Builder kindly gave us some of egg custard tarts, so nice sent him back to get a whole box, filo pastry nice and crispy and filling creamy with a hint of vanilla highly highly recommend this Portuguese bakery and restaurant defiantly will be visiting for the restaurant

As a Portuguese person I was a little reticent to go to a place that is openly serving "Portuguese" food because I was afraid to end up feeling disappointed with it. However, this was not the case. I loved how the employees are all Portuguese (I literally got in and imediatly start speaking Portuguese without even thinking twice about it) and how the things I ordered tasted just like they should. They are authentic and a piece of home far away from home. It was brilliant ideia to also have Portuguese products for sale. I manage to buy a Tutti Frutti Compal, some nobre sausages, Tuna, some tea and some chouriço. Overall, it was brilliant and a wonderful find in Plymouth. I am proud of them for the quality of the things and for doing it so well. All the people that I brought there for some coffee and a pastel de nata, end up falling on love with the flavours !!!

Probably the best cup of coffee in the city centre if you're after a good quality, strong coffee. Very nice pastries and a huge choice of them, I don't think we'll ever get through the pastry cabinet. Food looks really good, have to actually come down for proper lunch.

Amazing Pasteis de nata. Another one of my "go to" places during lock down... Although "going to" meant preordering and distance collecting at the loading bay. Nice they've got the tables and chairs out the front at the moment. Pork and clams is a periodic treat, but you have to watch for it being announced on the day (typically a Saturday)

The food and drinks are absolutely amazing. It's all homemade from scratch and the price is not that bad. They serve classic dishes and the amazing daily soup for 2.50 a big bowl. You should go there, cuz' why not? My favourite from their restaurant is Pasteis de Nata or Portugese pastry with custard inside. Love it. My favourite cafè of all time.

Genuine Portuguese cafe with all the atmosphere, the desserts / cakes and savoury snacks, the coffee. Plus a few excellent groceries like the Portuguese cheese (I took a punt on a whole cheese for about £10 and it was divine). "English breakfast" (fry-up of sausages, bacon, mushrooms, etc.) was par grade with "commodity" rather than "gourmet" ingredients - but competitive price matching "commodity". So if you need that (reasonably so) - clean your palate with a glass of water then have some Portuguese treats.

A truly authentic place which could be easily mistaken for being located in Portugal. Fantastic food and great service. I do wish they could close a little later on weekdays. Recommendations... Absolutely superb. I went here with my wife on 8th July 2022 and everything was top quality. My wife had Salmon freshly cooked with fresh vegetables which looked perfect, my Lady loved it. Having been to several places in Portugal I ended up having quite a few desserts and was not disappointed. delicious. I had a black coffee and (honestly) it was the tastiest coffee I've had for quite some time. Service was warm, fast and friendly This is one of those places where "we'll be back" * I so wish they would move to the "top of town"
