E. _.Greggs makes for a good lunch. With a great atmosphere, prices and food quality. However. If you're expecting something warm or even mildly hot such as your pasties or sausage rolls don't bother. I got a pasty which was horribly cold, and it's not the first time. The pizza slices that are offered are just as cold and are presented as warm and hot. Not worth the money on a cold day.
Baguette - delish.
Doughnuts - perfect.
My cashier left me as I was paying for my food and walked away not letting me know if payment went through if I could have my receipt... just left the cashier area and went away leaving a line of people behind me. Eventually I just shrugged and left assuming it went through as people got angry for the delay. Service isn't amazing. Hot food isn't amazing. But for a good baguette meal deal Greggs is great
D. S.Friendly staff and well laid out branch of Greggs. Has a wide assortment of food to chose from including both hot and cold options. Plenty of chilled drinks in the self service chiller cabinet or can get a hot drink from the counter staff. Don't forget to download the App and you can earn rewards and redeem freebies every now and then.
D. M.Lovely store that's a stone's throw away from the main station and major bus stops at Reading with wonderful staff. Always love to get the breakfast meals on offer here.
