A 4* if there were more choices of ale available and the prices were a little keener.
I found it a tad pricey for a buffet / carvery. But we turned up with no reservation. No one had bad dinner, it was all tasty and we all left happy.

Turkey, gammon, pork, beef or a mix of.
Friendly service. Cost reasonable ££ good for what you get. They were able to accommodate 4 adults and 3 children at a table.
Overall pretty good. Will try to attend more frequently.
R. R.We arrived early but it was no problem as the kind young man on recessed I can change your booking which he promptly did and showed us to our table. The meal was as expected - amazing. The roasties were fluffy and so crispy. All the staff were very cheerful and helpful. Can’t wait to call again. Made Mother’s Day for me 🙂
E. P.We had a table booked for 7 people at 20:20hrs and thought that at that time there may have been a limited choice. What a nice surprise to find the usual very good choice of nice hot food. It was the same high standard and good value for money. The staff were very polite and welcoming. All making for a good evening out.
N.We find the best time to go is around 11.30/12 as it's not too busy and food is all hot and fresh. Very generous portions of meat, polite and friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere for myself and my parents. Always delicious and best of all, no washing up!
C.Was very impressed with the serving staff + their knowledge/understanding about allergens. No judgement passed at all by our hosts. Straight away they left us with a tablet pc with a full list of menu items + respective allergens. Food was fast, good quality, and reasonably priced.
G. F.Sunday roasts are great and value for money, but I think there could be more varied veg. Instead of mash and potatoes, maybe serve a more variety of veg like green beans, broccoli as well as carrots, peas, sprouts and cauliflower cheese etc. It is a shame there isn’t more gluten free and vegan options available. I believe this would be a great benefit.
