M. W.Their white round bread rolls are the best! Cakes, slices and everything else always lovely. Warings are a little too expensive for me to use weekly; however as a monthly treat, they’re great. Perhaps they should introduce a loyalty card with discounts, offers etc to increase volume? I can’t wait to get their Stollen in a couple of weeks time. £11.50 may seem a bit steep, but it’s less than half the price of Fortnum & Mason’s and it’s twice as tasty - seriously, it’s that good! S. W.Best lardy cake anywhere in the country (choose the stickyest!) the hot sausage rolls aren't too bad either. Good selection of bread and rolls with some hot sandwich options such as sausage and bacon. Toasted tea cakes are also a favourite of ours.

P. E.I buy bread here multiple times a week. I enjoy the walk there in the morning. I especially like the sourdough loaf. The staff are very friendly. My son likes the biscuits. They also do proper doughnuts. Hard to go back to supermarket bread.
b. b.Love this little friendly bakery. Corn bread is excellent. Although it is a little more pricey than local supermarkets, it's quality, fresh and you can get tempted by fresh cream cakes. You can also walk to it. Don't go too late in the afternoon though as they generally sell out by 4.40pm! Support your local I say.

S. E. C. L.A fantastic bakery that has been in in the same family for generations. Used and respected by locals and visitors alike, everything they sell is baked on the premises and of the highest standard.
V. R.We needed a very special cake for 100 people. Warings Burghfield did a wonderful job. The cake was just what we wanted. The staff were very helpful, and the price, very competitive. Would use again.
