J. D.Probably the best bakery in the UK and I have been to a few. Fresh rolls/baps/sandwiches, pasty’s, pies and sausage rolls, along with fresh and artificial cream cakes. If you go to Hythe, please go support this independent shop 😘
J. D.AMAZING BAKERY! super cakes, bread and the most friendly and helpful staff. I had a cinnamon and apple cake yesterday and words can't describe how amazing it was, thank you. The rest of the cakes we purchased yesterday were also lovely and fresh. Have been coming here years and purchased many cakes including a giant donut man (amazing and great value). Thank you so much and thank you again for the work you do for the community. Highly recommend
N. B.Love this bakery - have been visiting since I can remember and it my highlight of coming to Hythe. Makes having to visit the bank exciting. The staff are always friendly and polite. The prices are really fair. The window display is just WOW and you can’t go wrong with any of the cakes/pastries they are all fresh and taste amazing. The donuts are much tastier than any I’ve ever tried else where.
One criticism the hot sausage rolls used to be my favourite but lately the sausage meat tastes different and the pasty is like it has been heated in a microwave and not crispy like before. I’m sure something has changed. Please bring back the old ones - I’ve had to change my order choice, thankfully there is a huge selection
which is all delicious.

Wish they would put more jam in their doughnuts... bit hit and miss with quantity.
M. P.Bought some bread rolls and a salad tray to make a lunchtime snack, the rolls were fresh and crusty (lovely) but I have to say the salad tray was miserly and certainly not worth the £3.50 I paid.
