R. H.Had a specific idea of what I wanted for my grandads 70th birthday cake since he loves sweets. From start to finish, WLB have been so helpful, friendly and listened to everything. Not only did the cake taste amazing, everyone loved the fun design and my grandad was absolutely made up. They completely exceeded my expectations and I still can’t get over how great it looked & tasted! Staff were always friendly throughout the process and gave clear, helpful instructions how to store and get home from town. Thank you so much ☺️🙏🏼

My wife has had us stop at this bakery a few times for take away cakes which have always been impressive each time. This occasion we went in to try their lunch time menu, a brunch, however we caught them in their crossover period so we had their breakfast menu instead. We both ordered pancakes, and I particularly wasn't expecting much, no disrespect, but perhaps very thin pancakes. Not that that would have been a problem for me, but what came blew me away, and my stomach! The pancakes were so thick, covered in melted chocolate, decorated nicely and extremely filling! Very reasonably priced, but do remember that all foods are cooked fresh and to order. Do expect up to 30 minutes wait, even if it is quiet, but rest assure with a coffee and chat in between, this time flies. Please do pay this smaller business a visit and give them your support 🙂
H. O.We have been buying brownies from here for a while now, and they always taste amazing. We’ve also had the afternoon tea, and the sharing platters. So I thought for my daughters birthday, I’d order her a celebration cake. Firstly, the cake looked amazing. It was exactly what I’d asked for. The taste was next level. It was really moist, and the cake to frosting/filling ratio was spot on. I’ll definitely be ordering from there again. Everyone who’s had a slice, has said just how delicious it was.

H.White lace cakes never disappoints, I have always enjoyed popping in for treats with my daughter whilst in town, however recently I decided to pop in whilst on a support visit with a lady who suffers with dementia, the lady loved the decor and atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyed the triple chocolate brownie she ordered. The young ladies on the counter have always been so polite and friendly when I have been but on this particular occasion were so kind and engaged. We took photos of our little treat out to relay to family and white lace has been the highlight of this ladies week. Thank you so much xx

E. K.I’ve visited white lace bakery several times now- in the old shop in cockhedge and in the newer shop in Golden Square. Each time the staff have been really friendly, helped me with my indecisiveness over which gorgeous treats to try, and the quality and taste of the baked have always been amazing! I couldn’t recommend white lace high enough- and the fact that I get to support a small family run business by purchasing from them is an absolute bonus!
D. H.Had a lovely surprise when the kids got me the Mother's Day taster box. They know it's my favourite place and I was not disappointed, even got to try a few new flavours. I love popping their brownies in the oven for a minute or 2 to make them all warm and extra gooey!
G.I used to love this shop but the past few times I've ordered occasion boxes I've found everything to be full of grease, my hands were oily after eating the blondies & we all had terrible heartburn. Thought it was a one off but the same again for mothers day boxes. Has anyone else found them really greasy/oily? The base hasn't even cooked properly they're very dense. Also used to love speaking to the male, Graham if I remember right? He was so chatty & down to earth. The women smile but they're not as friendly & always rushed.

W. D.We've been to this bakery a fair few times and not once have we been disappointed - amazing food and drinks and the friendliest staff ever. The Brownies and blondies are worth the trips alone.... Just last night we had one of their incredible cookie pies (Gold Bar and Crunchie) and words can't do it justice....! They also made an incredible drippy Birthday cake for myself and my daughter which was immense! Cannot recommend them enough!

J. A.I have been coming to White Lace for a while now but for the first time this week I had brunch. I ordered the Nutella french toast (which was amazing) and my gran had the avacado with poached eggs. My gran asked for no red onion and sirracha sauce which was no trouble at all however the salsa came with it already in so she said she'd have it without the salsa but when it came the chef had made her a salsa out of beautiful fresh pepper and she loved it. Will definitely be back soon

It's absolutely amazing and good quality cake each time. It's a lovely business created by people who really care and go out of their way to remember us as customers. I will always love these guys and I'll be back for birthdays, end of school year treats and the occasional Saturday cake binge.. remember how amazing you are!

H. A.The most Amazing sweet treats are sold here. I’d give more than five stars if I could. I visited last Tuesday and then again on Saturday. I was the girl waiting outside the shop from 10.50am in my wellies before I was going on a dog walk then after I could go home and eat cake.
You didn’t get to open the shop till nearly 11.25am but I totally didn’t mind.
I watched you set up the shop with your young daughter, who served me at the counter and was very polite and is a credit to you. K.I have recently booked my wedding cake with White Lace Cakes after tasting there cake at my friend's wedding last year! 😍 They have been amazing through the whole process and have put up with the million and one questions I have had. I ordered numerous times when they were on just eat and now they have a shop I have visited a few times. They are a lovely couple who love what they do and put everything into what they do. When I asked did the do a specific cake they said "we don't but it is certainly something we can look into". I have thrown hints to my other half that I would love a cake from here for my birthday 🎂 keep your chins up and keep doing what you doing! ♥️

M.I never write reviews but after looking for this fab shop on social media after our lovely visit here today I thought they deserved a 5*- a really lovely woman served us (it took us ages to decide with all the fab treats). Shop still had lots to offer even when we came quite late in the day. What a beautiful looking shop it is too! And the treats are insane too!
p. h.Called in for cake and coffee which was lovely, nice little shop and worth a visit. Great range of products and all look very tasty. Much better experience than the big corporate brands and always taste better when you're supporting local businesses. Very small place but felt perfectly safe with all social distancing measures in place.

I’ve only been a couple of times when they were a stall haven’t been into the new shop yet, but I know for a fact not a single person who works there would have that attitude or dare say something isn’t worth it. They are amazing at what they do, the proof is in the pudding when they’re sold out in hours! I wish the absolute best to this amazing company, please don’t let one rude customer put you off trying these amazing cakes and treats! We have used white lace cakes since we’d found them on Facebook and at Warrington makers market,
They are a pleasure to talk to, will do anything you ask them baking wise, they have just gone from strength to strength, first shop opened and I’m sure there will be many more,
They are a family business you see there children in the shop, who are a credit to them, and also knowledgeable.
