I first encountered Tees Bakery at a wedding exhibition by chance and it left such an impression, many years later, I recognised the name on Hitched immediately, recalled my experience, and knew she would be my first choice to commission a wedding cake. I contacted Toyin just weeks before the wedding, and in fact, on a weekend, and she was so polite and accommodating and managed to fit me into her schedule with other weddings on the same day. The design of the cake was changed a number of times and through it all, she was patient, helpful and available. The communication particularly made the process so smooth and easy, at least on my end. I really felt a weight lifted off my shoulders after entrusting her with this. The cake was delivered and set up on time, before I had even arrived at the wedding. I was concerned she would need my help but she worked together with the events planners who she met setting up there, to provide exactly what the bride wanted - even helping the planners by giving them her flowers. When I arrived, they spoke very highly of her. The cake was perfect. The top tier was red velvet and the bottom tiers were vanilla. The sponge was so fluffy and light and the buttercream had just the right amount of sugar so it wasn’t too sweet. I saw both the people who loved sugar and people who hated it having multiple slices. I’m not sure what she did but it was really perfect. She really knocked it out of the ball park. I highly recommend Tees Bakery. I’ll be recommending to all my friends and family and will absolutely be using Toyin's services again. Thank you so much for making our day perfect. I am so grateful.

As I sit here looking at some of our unofficial wedding photos, I could not stop admiring our cake - such intricate detailing, pure art - perfection! I am filled with amazement. Thank you Toyin for taking the time to design us such an exquisite cake, it was so beautiful, we did not want to cut it. Our brief to Toyin was simple or so we thought - something elegant that incorporates our colour scheme, peach and gold. We were blown away by the sight our our cake. It was beautiful - beyond our expectations, our guests could not stop commenting how beautiful the cake was. We should not forget to mention the taste and texture - it was just magnificent, each tier had a different flavour; we had chocolate - white and milk, salted caramel and rum cake. What is the definition of an amazingly outstanding cake? My definition is Tees Bakery. It is handsdown the best cake producing company I have come across. The creativity as well in translating your requirements to reality amazed me. The cake flavours as well are all soo yummy. I am extremely particular and fussy when it comes to cakes.
