Fabulous wedding cake. We had 3 tiers of different flavours. Looked beautiful and tasted fantastic. This place was recommended by our wedding venue and the whole process of tasting and choosing was easy - and delicious! Neil liaised with our florist for the decoration so we didn’t haven’t to do anything. Thank you Neil!

Gorgeous Black Forest Gateaux. Such perfection. I ordered for my mothers Birthday on their online ordering site. When you consider they deliver carefully and well wrapped in a sturdy box on time to the front door you really can't find better. Such moist and delicate taste. Not too sweet either. She was delighted. Funnily the night before she mentioned she would quite like a nice cake for her birthday from Marks and Spencer. But these handmade cakes are miles better !!!

We ordered our wedding cake from here and it was absolutely fantastic. From the start the service has been great and the cake tasting experience was one of our favourite parts of wedding planning! On the day, the cake arrived in good time and looked incredible! We had four different flavours, each one was delicious. Many of our guests commented on how good the cake was, it didn't last long after the cutting! We highly recommend Le Papillon Patisserie and would definitely use them again in the future. We got our wedding cake from Le Papillon Cakes and recommend them highly. The communication from Neil was excellent and the 3 tiered cake we got was amazing. Each layer was a different flavour and our guests struggled to decide which one they liked the most. I ordered my wedding cake from Le Papillon Patisserie and the whole experience from the initial tasting through to the day itself was perfect. Neil made everything very easy. He sat with us and discussed our requirements during the tasting but applied no pressure at all to get a sale then he just got on an did everything with no fuss. The cake itself was stunning both in look and taste and it just appeared at the wedding without disturbing anything. We ordered a bigger cake than we needed which was fortunate as some of my friends had 4 or more slices. We had 3 tiers, top and bottom were chocolate and the middle tier was raspberry. I can't recommend this place highly enough and will definitely call again next time I'm I need a cake and I will visit whenever I'm in Woking.

Neil made such a beautiful cake for our wedding! He was full of great ideas for design and clearly put a lot of time and effort into making our cake perfect for us. And of course the cake was delicious! We had 4 tiers, each a different flavour, and all of our guests commented how nice it was. Fortunately we managed to save a little for ourselves! Neil even made a special mini gluten-free cake for one of our guests, which we were also told was delicious! We ordered our cake from Le Pappillon for our wedding on 21st April and cannot reccommend them enough! Neil was so helpful and made some brilliant suggestions when we were choosing our cake - we were looking for something a bit different and went for a macaroon tower on top of a red velvet cake with pink and white drip icing. It was honestly the best cake we’ve ever tasted (all of our guests agreed!) and the macaroons were perfect! If only we lived closer and could pop in for some cake more often!! Neil was very efficient throughout the enquiry and through to delivery. We were asked to visit and try out the various fillings for the Croquembouche, choosing the chocolate and lemon fillings. The cake was delivered on time by Neil and it was fabulous. It looked amazing and everyone was commenting how they’d seen it in films but never had one to eat. It was delicious and lasted from lunch time through to evening and we continued eating it the next day. The chocolate sauce was good and we also provided cream to pour over. Neil even provided some nut free and my friend was so happy not to miss out. A magical cake!

Gorgeous wedding cake. Delicious. Our choice was the French Gateaux; with 4 different types of cakes. 54 in total on the stand which Le Papillon Patisserie also supplied. Our consultation/tasting with Neil was enjoyable; he is a relaxed and professional man with an obvious passion for his work. We chose le Papillon Patisserie for our wedding cake mainly because that they were the only bakery we called who could accommodate our many dietary requirements! We were extremely pleased. The process of choosing the cake couldn't have been easier - we were overrun with wedding admin and weren't able to get to Woking for a cake consultation, but it was all done over the phone and email (they do offer face to face consultations for those who want them). There is a huge amount of choice and the options and prices are clearly displayed on their website. The prices seemed comparable to other bakeries we had tried. When it arrived the cake looked stunning and tasted outstanding! Also their liaison with the venue and florist were seamless so they made life easy for us. We would definitely recommend them!

I was trying to find an alternative to a traditional sponge birthday cake for my son's birthday. I found this patisserie by searching online. I ordered a black forest gateux to cater for 18 kids plus some adults. What can I say? Light and soft chocolate mouse without being too sweet and a soft chocolate sponge cake. Nicely decorated with a thin layer of whipped cream and berries. 18 empty plates says it all!!! Well done, I'll definitively be coming back.

Neil was amazing, I can't recomend this Le Papillon high enough! Our wedding cake was amazing and we had such great compliments on it. Neil really took the time to understand what we wanted and then created it for us, and this showed in the final prodict. After seeing Le Papillon's cakes at the National Wedding show I thought I had found what I wanted for my wedding cake, after meeting Neil and tasting all the flavours he could offer I knew I had found the right person and the right cake. Little did I know then how big a part Neil and his team at Le Papillon Patisserie would play in our big day as we later approached him about providing the canapés and full afternoon tea for our wedding breakfast for 120 guests. What can I say other than WOW! So many comments from our guests 'the best afternoon tea ever', 'raspberry cheesecakes to die for', Neil's passion for his art shines through in all that he does. This is high end patisserie yet at affordable prices. Our Tea Party wedding cake, consisting of 120 individual gateaux (the final very tough shortlist consisted of Victoria sandwich, carrot cake, pistachio and marmalade, chocolate & mint and lemon drizzle) with a chocolate and praline cake with white chocolate cigarillos to top the five tier stand and they worked with our florists for the flowers to decorate it too. Neil personally came to the venue to set the cake up. Our afternoon tea included not only the delicious scones that they had baked that morning while we were still asleep but a freshly made strawberry jam from English strawberries, the most delicious mini raspberry cheesecakes, lemon meringue tarts and stunning opera cake, and the attention to detail was evident on every single one. Neil was an absolute joy to work with, not once did I have any stress or worry about the all the catering for our wedding. We had organised, set up and decorated our entire wedding ourselves and feeling so confident about your choice of supplier for such important things like your food and cake is an absolute godsend. We can't recommend Le Papillon highly enough, a professional yet friendly and personal service and stunning cakes that really do taste as good as they look. Thank you Neil!

We could not recommend Le Papillon Patisserie more highly! We wanted a wedding cake that was different, eye catching, flavoursome, elegant and something that our guests would remember. Neil fulfilled the whole brief! He provided a very well organised cake tasting, gave us the range of options we could go for and didn't pressure us into deciding there and then...although after tasting the cakes and gateaux's, they sold themselves! We decided on the French Gateaux style with 5 different flavours of gateaux and a sponge with berries on top. I even ordered more individual gateauxs just so that I could taste every single one on the wedding day! The cakes arrived on time on the day, were set up by Neil's team during our Wedding Breakfast so that guests could view them afterwards and we served them with the evening BBQ. They looked perfect on their stand and tasted wonderful...it wasn't just me who wanted seconds!! Even 2 months later, people are still pointing at pictures of the gateaux's on their stand and saying how wonderful they were! Perfect! Thank you again Neil

We used Papillion for our Wedding on December 8th 2012. It was the most amazing cake I have ever tasted. It looked like a piece of art work that we didn't want to cut into. It had three tiers, the outside was dark chocolate. The cake then had fresh deep red roses added. The quality of the cake was outstanding.We had three different layers that we choose from our cake tasting. The carrot cake is out of this world. For something a little more decadant we went for chocolate praline and the top layer was a fancy pistachio. Delivery of the cake was included to our venue, taking the worry out of handling and delivering such a beautiful cake. Neil is fantastic and approachable and creative. I would highly recommend his Patisserie and will use them again.

We had the most fantastic croquembouche for 90 people at our wedding in June 2012. It was so popular that it seems most of the photos our guests took were either of the croquembouche or them eating it!! Neil was great right from the tasting through to the set up on the day. I can definitely recommend using Le Papillon Patisserie!

In my view the best coffee in the Woking shopping centre with a great selection of food too. The staff are helpful and always quick to serve. Well worth a visit.
