I ordered the vegetarian afternoon tea for the second time and it was absolutely delicious again! Really different style of an afternoon tea and very filling. The carrot cake is to die for but we enjoyed every part of it! So tasty and delivered on time. Thank you!

Very impressed, we ordered a savoury afternoon tea for 2 to be delivered & to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was delivered at the time & day specified. The sausage rolls & scotch eggs are scrummy, slightly disappointed with the mini quiche as they lacked flavour. the cakes are absolutely divine, we had 3 flavours amongst the 4 pieces. There is a very generous of food so much so we've saved some for later. Will definitely use again as the teas will make a superb gift.

Ordered a vegan afternoon tea via a Red Letter Day voucher. Nicki was extremely helpful in sorting out our order and in general Piglets Pantry where excellent in their communications leading up to the order. Our afternoon tea arrived on time and was well packed in a lovely box. Food inside looked stunning although a lot more than expected, so really good value for money. 2021 Too often we forget to acknowledge the companies who quietly offer excellent service so I am taking time to applaud the service of this UK company- Piglets Pantry. Living in Australia with grandchildren living in the UK it means so much to be able to order 2 Afternoon Tea selections to be delivered to them for their birthday celebrations. The company is excellent to deal with and attend to any communication promptly. I have been able to confidently rely on them to deliver excellent food to my grandchildren's UK address in time for each of the 4 of them to celebrate their birthdays. A detailed evaluation of the food from my grandson when it was his birthday was very pleasing and extremely positive. 2022 This year I added two additional product lines to my order, for my grand-daughter in the UK's birthday, and surveyed the four grandchildren that live in the UK to ensure Piglets Pantry products were still a desirable gift. Their responses were very pleasing. They each had different favourites but every item received a vote as the items some of particularly liked. I also liked that the 4 cakes were something my grand-daughter could take to school to share with her friends. Once again Well Done!! Piglets Pantry.

We had an Afternoon Tea delivered today at around midday, on the requested date. The food was packaged and protected so well and it was kept cold and very fresh. Warming tips were really useful too. Everything was amazing and we couldn’t fault it, in particular, the sausage rolls and the carrot cake! The scones (with the jam and cream) are going to have to wait until tomorrow, as there was a great amount of food, for a great price! Thank you very much, we thoroughly enjoyed it! :-)

Received a Groupon voucher for Piglets pantry as a gift it was really easy to place the order for a classic afternoon tea. Communication was good and received it on the day I ordered it for. The food was excellent couldn’t eat in one sitting so had scones with coffee and cake later in the evening. Would recommend this company.

I got this as a birthday present. The presentation was lovely, plenty of food for 2. The scotch eggs were amazing, as was everything else, fresh and very tasty. I didn't want to leave a 2 star review, trust me, as the order was delivered on time. But I find it extremely odd that a company that delivers something as fragile as cupcakes hasn't figured out the right packaging. It's an upsetting experience when you want to surprise your loved one for Valentine's Day and your surprise looks like mashed potatoes, not cupcakes. It's not a delivery company's fault when packaging is that poor. :( UPD: the company were kind of enough to offer a partial reimbursement, which I think is fair. That said, hope they can solve the packaging issue, so that these things don't happen :)

I ordered a Jubilee Afternoon Tea as a treat and it was totally delicious. Everything arrived fresh, beautifully presented and yummy, we loved it. The cakes were beautifully decorated, so light and not too sweet, the savoury sausage rolls and scotch eggs were very tasty and the cream tea was just the right size. Just received this for my birthday, afternoon tea for two. Delivered by post in a cooled cardboard box. Beautiful and fresh produce. Scones, Jam & Cream, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, quiche and cakes. It looks amazing when you open it, just can't wait to get stuck in. Vegan options available. Online ordering. Some products can be frozen for 3 months if your struggling to eat it all. 😋 Now doing a spring box, I sent it to my sister for her birthday, they really enjoyed it, although for two, plenty to share - if you allow that 😬 We have used this company many times now, what a perfect gift for someone to share on their special occasion 💖

We were given a gift for a Piglet Pantry Afternoon Tea and ordered it for a specific special date. I had the notification that it had been delivered but it hadn't come to our address. Piglet Pantry were excellent and sent me a picture of where it was and a location (both of which were not our address-delivery company fault). They were really helpful and ordered another one to be delivered the next day. This one did get to us by 8am and in time for our special day. The food itself was nice but it it small for the price compared to other ones I’ve had. I had the vegetarian box and there are only three savoury options and a lot more cake. It could do with one more savoury option to make it more worth the money. I had it on offer so it wasn’t too bad but I would have been really disappointed if I had paid full price. Received a vegetarian afternoon tea as a gift, which was a lovely surprise. Extremely well presented, and generous portions. Includes heating instructions, and a list of ingredients and calories are accessible. I know it is an indulgence, but I feel it would be ideal if the calorie content was included in the box. As not everyone has the wherewithal to access the calorific and ingredient lists. It does have a number of known allergens, but unfortunately also has additives which is a shame, as you would not be including a lot of the additives if you were making the products at home. I know they ask you to contact them for special dietary requirements, so I am not sure if the products could be made without them are they are made to a commercial scale. In light of this they would be a very rare indulgence.

Amazing afternoon tea. Bought the Easter afternoon tea for one (for myself) and the little piglets Easter afternoon tea (for my daughter). Firstly, was so impressed with communication throughout - email updates and text message on the morning of delivery really helped. I received delivery of this gorgeous afternoon tea for two this week, which was bought as a Christmas gift. It was a little later than planned, however as we are in lockdown it really didn’t matter when it came. What a lovely surprise and absolutely gorgeous fresh food, well packaged and cooled. We got scotch eggs, quiche, sausage rolls, scones, mini cookies and four cakes. This made a change from the usual sandwiches and the cakes were melt in your mouth – better than some afternoon teas I’ve been out to (and I’ve been to loads). If you’re in any doubt as to whether to order, don’t be – just do it. Lovely as a special gift for someone or a treat for yourself. Amazing service considering we are in a pandemic.

We had a Sparkling Afternoon Tea delivered as a gift from a friend. The lovely pink box arrived and inside there was another containing the food but was very well wrapped and protected with bubble wrap. Food warming tips were included, unexpected but very useful. There was so much food and so cleverly packaged that we didn't realise there was clotted cream to go with the beautiful scones until we started unpacking! Said scones (with jam & cream) were devoured almost immediately alongside the mini bottles of bubbly, but the rest, including fabulous sausage rolls and mini quiches, formed a packed lunch for a planned hike we were doing the next day and they were thoroughly enjoyed in the open air, with beautiful views and a flask of hot coffee! Definitely recommend and we will be ording soon.

Very disappointed with the quality seeing how much it was. Re reply Can you give me an email that you actually read and reply to messages on, as I sent 3 messages before my bad review as I thought I would give you the opportunity to sort the problem out before giving you 1 star. Very happy to say that after a few messages, we have received another afternoon tea., a box of delicious brownies and a couple of bottles of fiz.It was absolutely amazing . Everything was perfectly cooked and it looked like lots of time and effort had been taken with the food. Scotch eggs were perfect, sausage roll was good but the ham hock quiche was the best I've had.Cakes were nice but the weird blueberry one was disappointing. This is the second time I have ordered a tea from Piglet's Pantry. The first order back in 2020 went through fine and the tea was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Amazing quality! I ordered 2 teas for one to be delivered in December 2021 but unfortunately the courier did not deliver on the expected date (they were a day late). Piglet's Pantry went out of their way to put it right and even arranged for the whole order to be delivered again in January at no expense to me. Our parents were delighted and thoroughly enjoyed both teas. I was so grateful as our parents are not local and thought it was a lovely gesture to be able to spoil them again. The afternoon tea arrived safe and secure in a box made purposely for the Afternoon tea. When I took the lid off the smell was amazing. There was instructions on how to heat the sausage rolls etc. Everything tasted lovely. The pastries where very fresh and tasty. The cakes where to die for. In fact we didn't really want to share but we did get lots of things and had to save some of the cakes for the next day.You do get a lot for your money. We have just bought another one. I tried numerous times to call and email the company over the week to reschedule the delivery as there was no option on the email to cancel the order. Even though, I was within the timeframe to make amendments the company did not reply to any of my emails and couldn’t get through on the phone. Our afternoon winter sparkle tea for two arrived early this morning on the expected date. It was very well packed and looked amazing upon opening. Having left a negative review, I remember Frith reaching out to me and doing everything she could to make up for this bad experience despite me refusing to take down my review. Just finished eating the wonderful Classic Afternoon Tea that was delivered for my daughter’s birthday today. The tea arrived in a fun, pink packaging and was well chilled. There were instructions for heating the food which took no more than 10 mins. There was so much food we couldn’t finish it all but are looking forward to another nibble later on today! This was a shambles. I ordered afternoon tea using a Groupon voucher mid November for an 18th December Birthday delivery. No delivery was made. I left it a few days due to Xmas delivery delays and emailed but received no reply so I called. I was told the afternoon tea had been returned by the carrier with no explanation. I was promised a redelivery with ‘extra’ for 30th December and promised an email on 29th to verify shipment. Nothing. Rang again. They had no record of a promised second delivery. I was offered another delivery plus ‘extra’ or a refund. I wasn’t confident about a 3rd delivery. I received a refund of my £5.95 postage initially but now have a full refund.

UPDATED (1-4 stars due to resolution) They were able to ship our afternoon tea order which was arranged as a Saturday delivery at extra cost. It arrived 4 days later with the dry ice completely depleted. Once it arrived we contacted (4th contact attempt) to ask whether it would be safe to eat after 4 days in transit without refrigeration and they did not reply. UPDATE following owner response - tried phoning but the mailbox is full so could not leave a message. Did so within 20 minutes of their reply. UPDATE 2 I was able to contact them the following day via telephone and they went out of their way to try and resolve this. I will await the replacement and update my review further at that point. UPDATE 3 replacement product received and within safe period for consumption. Good result and pleased with how the company responded to this issue.

I am a big fan of piglets as I always have a pie at Brighton home games and they never fail to impress me, but wasnt sure how they would translate to from pie at football to refined afternoon tea. I must say, I was very impressed, I was never in doubt I would like it, but my 3 year, 9 and 14 as well as wife polished off the while lot in no time at all. There was a very good selection of savoury and sweet. We live locally so arranged collection, with everything ready for us at our allocated time. Can't recommend them enough!!

Ordered the Summer afternoon tea for fathers day, unfortunately the couriers who obviously cant read instructions delivered the chilled box upside down and not upright as stated in the sticker, when box was opened there was stick toffee sauce everywhere, although it tasted very nice i didnt fancy it on my scotch egg & sausage roll...I emailed piglets spoke to steve who apologised for the couriers delivery and was immediately offered a replacement to be sent out, which i gladly accepted..My email was later followed up by joanna the CEO who again apologised and explained there was some issues with the current couriers which they were trying to resolve current The replacement arrived today again not upright not quite as bad as previously and left outside ,they didnt bother knocking.. All in all despite the delivery mishaps the sausage rolls are amazing, the scotch eggs are to die for and all the cakes are fresh and tasty..I would definately recommend and use piglets pantry again, they went the whole extra mile to try and put things right, followed by good customer service skills...
