Received an afternoon tea gift voucher, customer service was excellent, very attentive. Unfortunately the sandwiches were bland, warm & flat. Not enough jam/cream so rationed between us. Top cakes were ok. The premises just feel very dated & no aircon.

Wow absolutely fantastic. You'll not be disappointed coming here for Afternoon tea. Everyone really enjoyed it alot. Plenty of choices on it to. Unlimited refills of our Teas. We will be recommending you to family and friends. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing to much for them.

We went for afternoon tea, which we've had previously a few years ago at another of their venues and it was pretty good then. This time we'd both describe it as solidly average. It was definitely not worth the price we paid. We opted for coffee and credit where credit is due, the coffee was lovely. The afternoon tea, not so much. Bottom tray: Cracker with salmon. The cracker was very stale, the salmon tasted old. Sandwiches; old stale bread, would be nice if fresher ingredients had been used. Middle tray: Lovely scones, warm. Unidentified jam in single use plastic cups - for the price you'd expect those mini jars you see at a full English for 3 times less. Clotted cream was fine. Top tray: Probably the most disappointing of the experience. These cakes were actually pretty bad and they looked like they'd been out a while. I'm typing this review from a cafe Nero eating a piece of cake at a fraction of the price which is superior in literally every way. Tiny servings which is fine, but they just didn't taste all that nice. This surprised us the most as we have had good experiences at pattiserie Valerie with cake. Overall we could as well have bought a coffee, a mille-feuille and a toastie and we'd have had a vastly superior experience for less. We left disappointed and probably won't be back. You can have a much nicer afternoon tea pretty much everywhere else.

Wonderful! We had afternoon tea for two, which was amazing and very good value for money unlike other places for afternoon tea. Seating up stairs was lovely, lots of seats but not squashed together. Staff were wonderful very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. I would recommend you book, especially if going on a busy day. We went on a Saturday and booked and glad we did as there was a queue. You can also buy to take away too and is a separate queue. The cakes to take away were very good value for money too
