Popped in here twice while in Belfast for a few days. Is a great pub, really enjoyed it. The staff are great, the locals great too which I always find great in a centrally located pub. The first time I visited was Sunday afternoon and there was some live music in which was great, the second time was Tuesday afternoon so was a little quieter, but still a very pleasant place for a drink. Probably my favourite pub frequented while in Belfast.
A. A.
My friend told me that it's a must to visit this pub when you are visiting Belfast since it's one of the oldest pub in the city.
I really enjoyed the ambience inside the pub, they played some traditional music during that evening. The staffs are friendly as well.
D. C.
So nice to find an authentic old pub. Sit inside and downstairs to get a proper feel of the place. Lovely to chat with a friendly local too.
G. B.
Proper Irish boozer. Lovely atmosphere, although its fairly basic decor etc. Fantastic Guinness but pretty limited wine range. Brilliant live music when we in and they even played us a couple of tunes especially for our wedding anniversary. I should have bought those lads a beer really - sorry fellas. Next time I promise :)
If you want to visit the Belfast bar of your dreams then this is it. If you find a pair of sunglasses I think they were mine!
l. w.
Fabulous. Great pub. Great staff. Great surrounding. Delightful Irish stew . Highly recommended a must go when visiting Belfast
S. H.
Excellent pub, a bit hard to find, all in all typical and very nice.
F. V.
Such an amazing experience in a very special place with that real old medieval feeling and proper food! Guinness was served to perfection and staff was simply adorable. The Irish stew was the “only” thing they served and nothing more was indeed needed! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND and return a million times if living in Belfast.
F. H.
Wow! What a beautiful experience. Great place to be to enjoy Belfast history.
J. D.
Absolutely brilliant bar. Good selection of drinks. The staff are brilliant too. All smiles and very welcoming. We were visiting from Derry City. Every time we're in town we end up here. Look forward to many more evenings in this wonderful wonderful bar.
K. V. M.
Always a great experience in Kelly's Cellars. Good food, nice drink and great craic. Service is excellent.
B. W.
Spectacular old pub. Live session music made it really cool for us. Might have had a little more whisky than I should have but seemed appropriate. Great service from Lady bartender with short blonde hair. A perfect experience.
J. B.
Great vibe great servers great Guinness and jam Irish music what a place
K. K.
Went for the JD and Jameson but mainly the service!
Absolutely outstanding service, we pub crawled around Belfast city and came back to this bar each time! Felt welcomed from the moment we first went there to the last night! Every member of staff did great job from security to bar and floor, working in hospitality you can see this is a happy work family.

1st day out in Belfast since the Covid pandemic fantastic Irish pub with great pints

Easily the best bar in Belfast.
Just had the amazing pizza and a pint deal for a tenner.
An absolute knock out.
Great staff
Great beer
Great pizza
I love this place.
5 stars all day every day
M. A.
Brilliant after a cold experience the warmth of the staff and stew soon had us back to normal
J. R.
Great lively pub, Staff are excellent were staying a few nights and ventured here for a look. The barstaff were tending to the tables so once you finish a drink they came down and asked if we wanted another one. we hardly had to get up for a drink. locals were very friendly and informative. Was a good buzz in it and the bouncer was good craic.
S.
One of the oldest pub in Belfast and indeed a classic one. The interior is just superb. Locals are very friendly here. Guinness is lovely.
T. T. C.
An institution in Belfast! Location where the United Irishmen met. So much history. Great open fire going as well as a beer garden outside. A unique pub that definitely demands a visit. Don’t go with a camouflage jacket as even though they’re in fashion, some older men are idiots and look at you as if you’ve just committed a cardinal sin - all to do with Ireland’s troubled history
B. G. R.
Live music, good crowd, and excellent Guinness. What more could you want?
(More room in the gents would be a plus!)
A. M.
Lovely pint of Guinness and the best thing about it... the customer service! Blue haired girl was really good at her job. Could see me being jostled about by a few men customers because it was crowded and offered to bring me the drinks to my seat. Thank you!
C. W.
100% authentic Irish pub experience in the centre of Belfast. Arguably the best pint of Guinness in the city.
t. d.
A lovely pint of Guinness was had in this lovely quirky pub!!

If you are in the area by all means go. This is a well maintained historical building. Get a pint and wander through the place. We loved it. It was delightful.
B. F.
We came to drink one Guinness, ended up drinking four. Great place!
P. G.
Been twice now, great vibes, wonderful staff and bouncers. Brilliant shout for a night out. I don't go often enough.
R. W.
Was OK. Tables were sticky.
Is an old pub and has period features and posters relating to Belfast.
Was hard to find for someone unfamiliar with the area, was hidden down a side street next to the new primark.
K. M.
With great decor and a very authentic Irish feel. Prices are not bad for close to the city centre. A must stop place for anyone in Belfast.
w. l.
Small old fashioned pub but outside outside seating us a covered area with a tvfor all you sporty people. Apparently tours are run to bring people to Kelly's as it is an attraction. Ps great pint of Guinness by the way
J. D.
Not very busy when I was there. I would imagine that it's buzzing in the evenings. Nice situation and lots of outdoor seating with patio heaters for use on colder evenings. Will be visiting again but when it is busier.
B. B.
Great session music, beer, and atmosphere! 🎻🍻
S. C.
Old world gem in the heart of Belfast city centre. Fab service and outdoor area with blues music last Friday, cannot wait to visit again.
P. F. B.
A wee hideaway with live music and irish stew served all day. It's like stepping back in time. Bar staff are full of craic and really helpful with any questions
L. L.
Good for a few pints and the music can be good. The crowd can be a bit rough. The mens' toilets are awful though. Clientele and toilets get it 3 stars.
C. M.
Absolutely cracking little spot decour takes U back in time friendly efficient staff good pint very reasonable prices.
Drink pizza £10 would highly recommend this place 4 anyone visiting Belfast its where a lot of locals are so pull up a seat get a drink and have the craic
C. F.

L. F.
Traditional and genuinely old bar. Great looking tented beer garden and guid Guinness.
J. P.
One of the best pubs in Ireland. I think even this was on the list top 10 of best pubs in the UK.
R.
I have literally never had a bad time here. For a great date night or just hanging out with friends and family, the vibe is immaculate. The staff have always been excellent, really high quality bar staff who know what they're doing. Cozy inside and outside.
H. W.
Fantastic evening in Kelly's Cellar . Exemplary service from Roshin will definitely return and make sure you visit this hidden gem whilst in Belfast x
K. M.
There were just a few folk in Kelly's the day we were in.
I've been going to Kelly's since the 70's. Fond memories of the days we played in it when John, ( can't remember his surname ) was the manager.
Trip down memory lane.
A. K.
Lovely traditional Irish pub in the heart of Belfast. A wide variety of beers and drinks. The music was excellent (from oasis to queen). Spacious inside and outside. The decoration has a little bit of everything. The people are very friendly and so is the staff.
A. S.
Great atmosphere, good place to have a traditional drink in a very central bar. Very attentive staff and good management. X
E. K.
You can not visit Belfast without visiting Kellys Cellars. A Guinness and a bowl of Irish stew. Soak up the atmosphere. Great staff and great service excellent, would never come to Belfast with out a visit. Guess how many times ?? And in the same area a lovely church St Mary's, worth putting a candle up....before or after the Guinness 😂😂
L. F.
A friendly welcoming atmosphere, great pint of Guinness.
P. C.
Love this place. Always welcoming and always lively. The outside space has went from strength to strength and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone!

G. R.
What a cool and rustic pub with one of my favorite stews I have had in my travel around the Island. Even if you don't eat you need to visit this when in downtown Belfast.
J. C.
Really great place.
You need to go indoors to see what a pub was like 300 years ago.
Beer garden is good and has external heaters so not as cold if you stay outside.
K. W.
Place full of character and very friendly staff. I would definitely go back there if I was in Belfast again
J. D.
My first non alcoholic draught Guinness. A sacrilege to some yet surprisingly good. TBH I could not tell the difference
G. M.
Good Guinness, great staff and a historic spot, pretty much guaranteed to have craic with randomers every night of the week.
M. J.
Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Lovely pint of Guinness.

A traditional Irish pub with a wonderful stew for having lunch. We loved this placed since we went into. The service was amazing . The waiters were so Kindly and friendly with us. If you are in Belfast I recommend you go to Kelly's Cellar.
R. F.
Good place for drinks, rustic, the staff is friendly and lovely!! I recomand 100%.
G. T.
Probably one of the oldest pub of the city gives you the perception of its culture. Wide beer and drinks selection with few dishes although very tasteful. Try the beef stew, one of the best eaten in Ireland. Very good prices. Must to stop while in Belfast!
M. S.
Great bar. Lively. Friendly atmosphere and it has a history.
L. S.
Fun local bar
K.
Quirky old style pub selling loads of different beers. Lots of indoor seating even though it's quite small. They make the most of the space. On a damp day it's nice to sit next to the wood fire. Large outside covered drinking area with seating.
c. w.
Lovely atmosphere
Friendly staff
Beautiful old style Irish pub
J. B.
Did a black taxi cab tour and our driver recommended this pub. No regrets. Lots of political history is evident. Great experience and atmosphere.
J. F.
Fantastic pint of Guinness and stew as usual! Loved their outdoors terrace.
k. o.
Despite visited on a busy Friday afternoon/evening the staff was attentive and quickly filled our orders. Great outdoor facilities with heaters for those looking to socially distance during covid.
M. F.
Fabulous little gem . Irish stew was delicious and staff so friendly .I shall be revisiting soon . Thank you
J. N.
Had Kellys Cellars recommended to me by a regular. Staff were very friendly and accommodated us as walk in customers on a busy Saturday evening. Excellent customer service, lovely Guinness and very nice pizzas.
S. R.
Back in time the instant you walk in. An utter lack of pretension. It would be easy to lose a few hours in here, enjoying a pint and looking at the many photographs that chart some of the history of this magical place. I can't imagine coming back to Belfast and not spending an afternoon, in here.
D. G.
Traditional Irish bar, very old, very friendly.
W. M. M.
One of the oldest bars in Belfast? Brilliant, real decent pint at a very good price, staff were lovely and toilets were super clean!
G. S.
This is a fantastic pub with reasonably priced beer. It's great to sit outside on a nice day, with music in the background and enjoy a beer, as well as watching people wander by.
C. S.
Came here to watch the GAA, they had a great outdoor space and good beer. Live band came on later in the evening so we moved inside. Very charming pub and a lot of fun!
P. M.
We called in from 2pm until 6. Great pub, brilliant bar staff, great service. We sat outside, great table service with a lovely setting. When rain came on, bar had a roof that opened and closed. Excellent 👍👍👍
P. m.
Great bar, excellent atmosphere, top door staff, old school. And thankfully locals drink there ensuring rude tourist's don't linger and head to the holes more suited to their entitled nature's.
A. C.
It was a cold wet day, went in the fire was blazing, everyone welcoming. Had a lovely bowl of Irish stew.
G. W.
This is a great bar .now has a large outside area with heaters and lots of seating. We visit it everytime we come from England. Love it!
D. J.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good selection of beer
J. O.
One of the best bars in Belfast, if you love Irish music and people then this is the place to go, great heated outdoor area as well.

Good Guinness, great staff and a historic spot, pretty much guaranteed to have craic with randomers every night of the week.

Great location, not so easy to find. Really good outside seating area. Good for pints served quickly by very friendly staff
P. M.
We called in from 2pm until 6. Great pub, brilliant bar staff, great service. We sat outside, great table service with a lovely setting. When rain came on, bar had a roof that opened and closed. Excellent 👍👍👍

E.
Unreal pints of Guinness and good prices too. One of the best spots in Belfast
J.
Heated outdoor seating area is a good shout 👌
D. B.
Lovely spot in town. Table service and order online via an app. Used to be famous for live music before covid happened.
J. G.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff who went the extra mile :)
A. M.
Great spot for a pint with friends. I was there on business and it had a great atmosphere and good tunes!
m. b.
Fantastic pub in the heart of Belfast city centre great atmosphere service was superb especially the girl Jamie who was very bubbly and served you with a smile on her face will be back the next time I'm in Belfast
M.
One of the best, although 18 months ago it was £3.90 a pint and now seems to be £4.50, prices seem to have gone up twice in last few months. Amazing pub and service but is quickly going down the direction of a tourist trap
P. A.
Service was excellent, very casual and sound what you’d expect in a wee irish pub. Enjoyed my pints off Guinness. Only thing i can fault is the mens toilets and the hygiene of them (purely due to being a trans man during a pandemic.) Other than that for my first experience I enjoyed it. Loved the decor and I’m sure if it hadn't of been for covid I would give 5 stars. The ankle showing when using the toilet cubicle is abit off putting but the more you drink the more you dont care but honestly my only fault in the place but it wouldnt put me off at all on coming back. Great place
F. L.
Amazing Irish stew. Traditional place with nice staff. A must if you are in Belfast
H. P.
Great pub.....friendly & efficient staff & service......will be back for a session.....✌
C. M. A.
Excellent Covid-19 social distancing policy applied and enforced. Cheerful and welcoming staff. Very pleasant afternoon.
J. M.
Lovely classic historic pub that's a must see for any tourist in belfast, pours one of the best pints of guiness in Belfast.
Kelly's also serves bottled Guiness original which I really recommend.
M. K.
A very authentic pub run by nice people. We missed the live music but Kelly's Cellars is definitely worth 5 stars anyway!!
L. L. D.
Happy to get a table when we hadn't booked one. It was packed, but the staff were kind to find us a good table. Very prompt service and great atmosphere
P. R.
Great location, not so easy to find. Really good outside seating area. Good for pints served quickly by very friendly staff
S. B.
My favourite Belfast bar. The best pint of Guinness too.
L. C.
Best place for traditional live music of Ireland.. This is one of the oldest bar of Belfast(1720)
S. “.
Great classic pub. Oozes history!
J. D.
Great spot- brilliant stew, staff and fire.
B. G.
Good spot for a roaring fire, traditional Irish music and atmosphere.
I. T. T.
Fantastic location to capture the Irish culture and Ulster traditions. Built in 1720 and some say the last brick was placed on the 17th March 1720 on St. Patricks Day. Excellent people and even better friendly service.
D. W.
One of the oldest pubs in Belfast. Would have loved to been here preCovid as I'm sure there would be fabulous stories/ folklore about the people who have drank here in its long history (over 300 years) but we were unable to enjoy this old place with low beams, open fires and great Guinness. Will visit again one day
E. R.
Beautiful old pub, and the stew is delicious and perfect with beer. Maybe a little bit too crowded considering the COVID pandemic, but I had a great time anyway.
W. M.
A Belfast landmark good for a Guinness and traditional music
d. n.
Great irish stew, lovely people, nice cosy pub.
A. B.
Always supper busy at the weekends with tourists and locals. I'd get there early and grab a table
R. D.
Fantastic traditional Irish pub and the best Guinness I've tasted
S. B.
This is a must-see pub if you're in Belfast, but be prepared as it's laden with as many tourists as locals. Canned music fills the outdoor seating space. Still, I had the best-pulled pint of Guinness of my entire trip here. And inside the bar an impromptu trad session was going on. The staff is very professional. So it's worth spending some time here.
P. S.
A fantastic Bar that is also historic establishment. Always friendly staff over the years I have visited
A. W.
Our favorite watering hole in Belfast. Jimmy!
F. F.
Awesome! The oldest pub in Belfast! You can find good music, beer and lovely people!
R. M.
Great setup, even better now with the expansive outdoor area. Would recommend for anyone looking an authentic Irish pub experience.
K. S.

A. W.
Drink a bit cheaper than most. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere
P. H.
Great irish traditional pub!
G. D.
Fantastic Irish pub. Great atmosphere, good pints and all round good people and staff.
K. W.
Amazing pub! Cheap drinks and a fantastic crowd. The staff is very friendly and quick, even in the busiest of times. Came back multiple times in my trip to Belfast. Upstairs is generally more spacious and where you'll likely get a place to sit.
G. E.
A really friendly pub. Some Irish historical photos in the pub but no political undertones from staff or patrons. Everyone is welcome.
J.
Heated outdoor seating area is a good shout 👌
M. G.
Super cool historic bar in Belfast with outdoor seating and a great crowd. Go here!
D. D.
Fantastic pint of Guinness to be had here... so good we stayed for 2 more... each! 👌
T. M.
Great atmosphere. Lovely pint of Guinness
G. M.
2 dinner's in one, pint of Guinness and Irish stew,
J. G.
Great bar ,excellent friendly staff and a great atmosphere, definitely recommend it !!
C. C.
Nice chillax place, fresh Guinness
J. J.
Excellent service and very friendly atmosphere totally a place to enjoy a few pints
S. B.
This pub is oozing with history and understandably busy in the evenings. There’s a good range of drinks on offer and the prices are good despite being a prime place. The low ceilings give a nice atmosphere and the two fires make it lovely and cosy. The bar staff are quick at serving when it’s busy. Seating is limited inside but there’s a spacious area out the front. It’s certainly one of the highlights of the city and should be visited by everyone!
N. G.
Nice place in Belfast, the oldest bar in the city.
Live music, good conversations and beer.
K. K.
The best and the cheapest Guinness I've tried in Belfast. Great staff, especially the blond girl with short hair. I usually don't like and visit pubs but this one is just awesome. Very unique and friendly, and you can be sure you'll find some new friends there ;) Also, as for such place, the toilets were clean. Quite a surprise for me. More than 5 stars!
A. X.
Great atmosphere. Huge choice of drinks. There's food served during the day in the bar, if you're starving. Pity that the huge fireplace is now gone as it used to add to the magic of this place. But live music played by some really talented folks makes this place a must see when in Belfast.
N. H.
One of the best or the best pub in Belfast in my opinion. The beer is really good and you can sit inside or outside if you want to. Even the price for a pint is acceptable even though its located in the city centre. I definitely recommend a visit if you are visiting Belfast. I enjoyed it very well
L. G.
Great atmosphere and quick service. Our server at dinner highly recommended this place and it did not disappoint. There was a band playing in one corner. Great beer selection. The restrooms were clean (even though the bar was busy) there was a place to drink and smoke outside if that's your thing. There were locals and tourists at this bar. One of my favorite bars we stopped at while in Ireland for 2 weeks.
C. K.
Good atmosphere. Nice pints
G. D.
Fantastic bar!! Oldest bar in Belfast in fact and it looks and feels just that. Low ceiling beams and white painted stone walls inside make it a great place to sit and have a bowl of stew and pint of Guinness. Plenty of drinks on offer, priced as you would expect for a city centre bar and just a generally great vibe about the place. Right next to Mourne seafood bar also, in case your in need of a bite to eat before firing the pints into you. Well worth a visit.
Z. K.
Very cool place and live music was awesome
S.
Big coal fire very cosy good atmosphere 👌
K. M.
Best Guinness and bar in belfast! Tri colour shots are the best.
O. S.
What a pub... Inside old and cosy vibe to it. Nice crowd of people at it... Nice outside drinking area but could benefit from some heating lamps, especially coming into winter... Guinness is beautiful, nicely poured... Staff are friendly and actually multi serve which keeps the bar waiting time to a minimum...
J. M. V.
Very nice and tradicional place, where we could enjoy the typical irish beef stew, which was the only option for lunch but it was very good and tasty. We were glad to enjoy a traditional lunch there. The offer included a beer and the service was very kind with us. The bar itself looks beautiful, with a great atmosphere and mix of people. Highly recommended if you are visiting Belfast and want to try something different!
A. R.
Quirky little pub! We'll worth a visit.
z. m.
This is a little pub with a beautiful outdoor area and great beer and mix drink!
D. F.
Well worth a visit enjoyed it lots
M. A.
Through the week I visited the pub with an elderly parent and we both had a superb time. I had been a few times already but, for my mother it was a first time. She loved the roaring peat fire, the barstaff were so friendly and the beef stew was delicious. Kelly's is a Belfast institution, a landmark. Long may it continue. Best Guinness in the city is served here.
D. B.
Authentic pub with best Guinness!
D. D.
Lovely bar,fantastic pint .
N. W.
Really traditional old fashioned Irish pub. Small inside with lots of room outside. Great atmosphere. We found a lot of people would just strike up a conversation when you say down beside them. Pours a great Guinness.
E. f.
Kelly's is the place to be if ur looking a Belfast experience
B. B. T. B.
Such a cute little pub and do glad we came. Has a lot of history to it as it's one of the oldest pubs in Belfast. They even have the existing alley way and flooring inside the pub and they only sell beef stew! If you are in the area it's worth paying a visit
G. S.
Great traditional Irish pub set in Belfast's city centre. The staff are welcoming and friendly, with quick service. The décor is how you would imagine a traditional Irish pub to be. Good choice in background music too.
J. O.
Great for pint and fantastic bowl of stew - really friendly staff😊
M. J.
Very happening place. Absolutely packed inside. There's a large outdoor area to congregate a with a tent and heaters. If you are bar hoping or want to party, this is a good spot to be after you get a couple drinks in you first. I noticed the majority of patrons were very well lubricated (aka drunk) by 6:30pm on a Friday.
M. F.
Very nice old Irish pub! Very, very popular during the weekends and definitely the most sunny beer garden in Belfast during the summer. Is worth it to pay it a visit. Have a pint of Guinness and cheese and onion Crisps, but if you feel more hungry, sure there are always a bowl of stew available with a nice price.
P. Ó. C.
A unique piece of Belfast History. Built in 1720. A classic piece of architecture from that era. Stand inside, look at the structure, use your imagination, and you can feel what it must have been like drinking in these places nearly 300 years ago. The food looks great. There is a large outdoor area to sit and enjoy your drinks and have a smoke if you do.
P. O.
Great Guinness and friendly staff.
r. e.
Fantastic bar great staff well worth a visit 😀
R. V.
Must visit if you’re in Belfast. They have a vibe of their own. Very unique seating arrangement and the location. It is a cellar and carries a very rustic look. Different than most places. Good music and polite staff.
J. B.
Friendly local feeling pub. Recommended.
L. R. G.
Love, Love, Love this place! They do an amazing Irish Stew too! They tend to have live music on from 5.30pm on Saturday's but you need to be there from pretty early on to get a seat. It does get quite crowded but well worth standing (at the open fire!) if no seats available as the place has a great atmosphere.
R. G.
Always great atmosphere with great, friendly staff. Been going there for years and have never had a bad experience. Any time I visit Belfast, Kelly's Cellars is my "local". Great meeting and having a laugh with other customers.
V. M.
Great atmosphere and lovely, lovely Guinness, packed out with loads of locals having a good laugh. Very friendly place playing good 60s tunes. Terrible toilets but we didn't care xx
B. M.
The cool thing about the pub is the history. It was established in the 1700s. This pub seems to be busy all of the time. We were able to get a seat both times we were there. The music act that was on on Saturday night wasn't as good as i would expect for a pub with their great reputation but there were people dancing (not sure how they found room for a dance floor). Constant line up in the bathroom. Out of the 30 or so pubs i visited during this holiday i would say it sits in the middle of least favourite to most favourite.
J. D.
If you are looking true local atmosphere of Belfast...then this is the Spot! Very friendly staff, good music, great atmosphere and always full of lovely local people who will make you feel welcome. Definitely recommend it!
o. r.
They do a lovely pint
S. S.
Very authentic Irish Pub and Friendly staff.
P. R.
Slow service at times. Toilets are gross otherwise great
C. M.
£4.50 pints in the centre of Belfast Happy days, great beer garden in all weather
K. B.
Oldest pub in Belfast. Absolutely worth it and pints are very affordable.
A. L.
Kelly's cellar is always on the cards when in Belfast it's a instution I grabbed a seat indoors as I love the whole look of the place great staff always on the go will be back .
O. H. (.
This is probably one of the best bars in Belfast and probably one of the oldest. It's got loads of history laden out on the walls to read . The bar staff are very friendly and welcoming, you can even get a lovely bowl of Irish stew with on the side crusty bread which fantastic.so if anyone is visiting Belfast this bar has got to be the one you must visit.
N. W.
Amazing location, amazing night and a great Irish traditional night! You will love it no matter were you are from!
J. A.
Best bar for a Guinness. Staff are friendly and place has such a good vibe
R. C.
This was a great little spot to come for a late drink. We sat at the bar and tried a local Gin a couple of times, which went surprisingly well with ginger ale and didn't upset the pint of Guinness I had. Low ceilings and archways in here so be wary if you're taller than a tall dog.
J. B.
One of the best bars in Belfast love the atmosphere of this place

Little bit of a wait for a table outside but once seated the staff were great & pints were decent, reasonable prices too.
M. C.
Great atmosphere great pub 👍
D. P.
Brilliant pub. Whenever we stay in Belfast we make a b-line to Kelly's. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, great music and the Guinness is good. If you fancy a good night's craic this is the place. Recommend.
M. C. B.
Nice pit stop for Guiness. It's a shame that I didn't managed to try classic Irish stew though. Maybe next time 🤞
J. H.
Great place for a pint or two and a good talk with several of the locals! The staff is nice and the place is really busy. There are only drinks here, though. No pub grub or dining.
D.
Oldest pub in Belfast. Great service. Awesome atmosphere.
R. A.
Ace live music and grand beer selection. Highly recommend a taste of local history. The bar tends to be on the crowded side in the evenings, obscurring some of the more intriguing items on display, but the outdoor area is sheltered and convivial. Great wee pub.
J. G.
One of the traditional Irish bars that is rich in history and very popular with local people and tourist who visited Belfast Ireland city center the beer or pint of Irish Guinness's is great and you can in joy a drink with friends on your own or just mix, so a trip to this place is a place to check out.
S. C.
May be the fact that this is a 300 years old establishment is what really excited me the most. But we loved this place. It absolutely showcases that old world charm. And we definitely fell for that. Although it is also known for its live music scene adding to its ambience, we were caught unaware that Monday is the only exceptional night. Sad we missed that part of the fun.
S. J.
Oldest and best Irish pub in town. Plays load of local music often having bands play in the premises. Attracts a good crowd and even if you arrive alone you're guaranteed to find someone who will have the craic with ypu
E. C.
The best atmosphere, the best staff, we were served by Jamie and Diarmuid and they couldn’t have been more accommodative, highly recommend!
V. R.
Must go here! Recommended! Amazing vibe and decor and try Irish Coffee!
p. m.
Traditional Irish Pub serving food daily and music occasionally. Loaded with history also being the oldest bar in Belfast, you'll find a warm welcome and an even warmer roaring open fire, just make sure you mind your head on the low archways!
R. B.
Awesome little traditional Irish pub. Friendly staff with a great sense of humour. Contender for best pint of Guinness of our weekend in Ireland/Northern Ireland!
B. M.
The waiting staff were very nice but the guy with the clip board was quite rude...
Would have loved some live music
N. -. G.
Well worth a visit. Great old Belfast pub!
J. H.
Amazing birthday met lots of lovely people and the staff were brilliant
G. M.
The most traditional Irish bar you will find in Belfast. Everyone friendly, lots of traditional live Irish (Fiddley Dee) music. Big for tourists and everyone talks to everyone. Great beer garden out the front which gets the sun all day.....when there is sun.
H. M.
My boyhood pub. Great Guinness.

D. M.
Phenomenal local banter with the atmosphere to match. Auspicious drink costs.
M. U.
This is a traditional and old Irish pub, is the ideal bar to try the typical Irish stew, accompanied by a Guinness pint, very good price, here you can also enjoy live Irish traditional music. If you come to visit Belfast you can not miss this place.
T. F.

Fantastic outside area, cheapest pints in Belfast city centre. Great friendly staff
P. a. M.
8th December nipped in just to try the Guinness
Have to say I wasn't impressed
D. A.
Oldest pub in belfast, a mix of touristy and proper Irish. Solid atmosphere of traditional Irish, people will simply come in and play instruments. This is a general Irish tradition and when you play you'll get some pints on the house.
S. A.
Perfect old school bar with a great atmosphere and friendly locals!
Ó. C.
Beautiful pint of Guinness and lots of outdoor seating. Great service too
l. x.
Real Irish bar with real fires in the winter months. Has a nice outdoor area at the front for the good weather and for smokers too. Different music. Only had drinks so cant comment on food.
d. s.
First class real Irish bar with wonderful drink service best place to meet friends
M. B.
One of the best bars we have ever been to in the world. Been to a lot of countries all over the globe, and this place has their game in order. If you're in Belfast you must go here.

Staff were brilliant. The best pint of Harp. Best day ever. Fist time in Belfast city and what a fitting pub to visited with my daughter Jessica and my son Michael..
S. M.
Best Irish pub in Belfast. Great crack.
J.
Great wee boozer. Big crowds & great service, along with a very good pint of Guinness. Nice to be able to sit outside on a good evening as well, with gas heaters to keep you warm in the chillier evenings.
A. C.
Nice spot with great live music and amazing Guinness hehe
L. M.
The staff in here are second to none. Best staff i have ever come across in belfast. Especially the blonde waitress, she never stops. Amazing oh and the red head too who slagged us off for not putting the wood on the fire. Love this place x
G. E.
Been here all week and had to check this place our. Apparently its the oldest bar in Belfast. The staff are super friendly and the stew OMG.. amazing.
Great place!!
J. C.
A must go to place in Belfast this is a charming place. It is cosy and comfortable with a lovely coal fire. The stew we had for lunch was delicious it was sold out the day before . It has a nice seating area to relax in and watch the world go by.
P. S. M.
Great time, great company, great shop.
J. N.
Very nice pub
s. s.
Visitors to Belfast often beeline to the Crown Liquor Salon but I say get yourself down to Kelly's. Lovely interior with a good mix of locals and visitors plus this place has more of an Irish boozer experience.
E. H.
For the better part of a decade this little spot has maintained to be one of my favourite places for a pint. Seen me through my student days, from which I'll always remember an early afternoon beer and a book in the back corner. Never loses the charm!
D. B.
Top little cosy pub right in Belfast city centre.
We visited here on the recommendation of a tour guide (on my first visit to Belfast) and really enjoyed it. Plenty of seats inside and outdoors (though it does get really busy at times). Friendly staff. The little log fire is a really nice touch, as are some of the fun little artefacts they've used to decorate the bar.
Good selection of beer (though I did stick with Harp).
A really good shout if you're in that part of the city and are looking for a bit of afternoon respite.
b. m.
Best bar in Belfast used to get. A rough crowd very sophisticated and bohemian not stuck up just right
R. M.
Not a lot to add except can verify that this bar has the best atmosphere around Belfast.
r.
Had a great time. Fast and brilliant service. The staff was so kind and friendly and quick. Would go again
K. M. M.
Verry nice drinks only a bar no food served there but you can bring our own. Food
P. B.
Forget your Irish bars in foreign cities, this is the real deal.
One of Belfast’s oldest bars, live music, city characters and bit rough and ready. A well run bar where you can enjoy the craic with no nonsense.
Plenty of tourists but full of locals.
K. H.
Great pub. Lovely friendly staff. Love this bar
P. S.
One of Belfast's little gems. I really loved this place. Walking in felt like going back in time. The place is nice and homely with friendly staff. The in-house beef stew was amazing.
L.
Very good atmosphere, lovely staff and drinks/food, 10/10
R. M.
Oldest pub in all Belfast. Cool experience.

S. M.
Love Kelly. Great atmosphere and lovely staff
P. D.
One of the best pubs in Belfast. If you are here for the first time and want history, music, locals and craic come to Kelly's, it is authentic and that is the key phrase, it's where locals mix with visitors and ALL are welcome. Do not miss it from your experience of Belfast!!
s. k.
Best Guinness in Belfast 100%
B. E.
Good bar. Lovely atmosphere inside and out. We found this place by accident when looking for Tesco's using Google maps. Lively place and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
M. F.
Great place. Good beer and great Irish stew.
R. G.
Loved it! The old feel, the ambiance.. You can feel the history the bar would have witnessed over the decades! Good service.
Enjoy a great meal at the seafood restaurant next doors
S. F.
7 Scotland fans visiting Belfast on way to our match in Dublin. Great bar I would definitely recommend. Staff extremely friendly and a great pint of guiness (or maybe 3 or 4)
e.
Very friendly place.. Very diverse people in drinking... Don't go to Belfast without visiting Kelly's... Live music was incredible, bar staff were amazing
J. S.
Old and quirky interior. Friendly service. When we went for lunch they were only serving Irish beef stew, no other options. Luckily it was good!
M. B.
It's very genuine, an amenity that is very rare in very touristy places like some parts of Belfast. It was even better because there was live Celtic music playing while we were enjoying drinks
W. G.
The best Guinness in Belfast, it is known. But did you know about the Morgan Freemans?
S. P.
It was a great opportunity to have a glass of Guiness in the oldest bar in Belfast. The artifacts hanging throughout is a like taking a history lesson. Great people and staff!
B. K.
Really lovely pub with friendly staff and neat outside area. Gets busy and they were out of food by the time i got there. But enjoyed it anyways. Good price and nice drinks.
P. D.
This ia one of Belfast's best pubs. Fabulous atmosphere and great Guiness. If you're a visitor to the city, this must be on your list....
W. L.
Really lovely traditional pub. I would have rated it 5 stars if it wasn't for the doorman. He ruins the atmosphere with his loud mouth and prancing about. Looked like he was drugged up As well.
E. V.
Always great atmosphere and all the staff super friendly and cheerful beside the busy times.
T. L.
Stopped by for a Jameson's and pint of Guinness before dinner at Mourne's Seafood. Got a perfect pint and sat outside in a great atmosphere with a lot of friendly folks. My kind of pub.
M. M.
One of the best bars in Belfast. Original floor from when the United Irishmen used to meet circa 1798 with cracking photos of The Dubliners behind the bar. Bags of character and traditional music most nights.
M. K.
Old Belfast in every part. A must for tourists, but prepare for it being busy. Lots of outdoors seating and cover from the elements. Not over priced, and fantastic for atmosphere and local music.
G. M.
You can't get much more old school than this traditional Irish pub in the heart of Belfast. Rub shoulders with locals and tourists alike, and enjoy traditional music with the best Guinness in the city.
R. R.
I enjoyed the interior of the pub, disappointed because they have limited portions of Irish stew.
A. N.

A great location for a tourist complete with Irish music. You can get your Guinness, Bushmills and Irish coffee here. Indoor and outdoor sections. A crowd of all ages.

Certainly not up with the best bars in Belfast. Tourist trap. Big outside beer garden though. Member of staff who served us was dead on, other guy who we had to speak to, very rude! Left Irish friends with bad impression.

G. K.
Lovely warm atmosphere ..stew is just AMAZING ..best I've tasted in Belfast.. !!! People so pleasant and happy spent most days here while on a visit back home...
B. C.
The staff could be nicer, some of them seem to think that because they are in a famous Belfast drinking hole, they can be brusque with the punters/clientele...but the place is authentic
M. M.
Kellys have taken back the Indian Restaurant that was once upstairs giving them some extra room. This is more chilled out. Great bar great vibe usually musicians on and sell stew from time to time.
