Very good experience at State Bank India at Soho Road Birmingham. Met Megha Bhandari, personal banker, she was amazing. Her attitude, knowledge and explanations about procedures and protocols by was exceptionally good. Very positive problem solving attitude.

I rang the SBI today to change some details on my account, which I hadn't accessed online for a number of years. I first spoke to Harpreep who took my details, identified what needed doing and arranged for a colleague to call me back to enable me to reactivate my account. I later spoke to Amreek who took me through the process to re-enable the access, staying in contact until we'd completed my account reset on the mobile app and also carried out the changes . I had an issue with accessing my ISA info online. I emailed the branch "info" email address asking for help. Shortly afterwards I received a call from an extremely helpful person who helped me solve my problem and also helped me set up their Android app. He called back later as promised to ensure that everything was ok, it was. Without any hope ,I called up SBI Birmingham and the team connected me to Mr.Gurbinder Saggu.When I spoke with Mr.Gurbinder, he said that he can help in opening an account for my company in SBI UK. He immediately sent forms and arranged a video call with Mr.Asish for verifying documents as I was unable to visit the branch due to Covid restrictions.. After documents verification within 10days, I could get account details from Mr.Gurbinder and Mr.Asish helped me in setting up online banking facilities.
