Used these for about 4 years now and never had an issue. My loans are always approved very quickly and payment is usually the same day I'm approved if I sign my form quick enough. Never had an issue when calling up about money in my savers account or my share 1 account either and can't transfer my money out from my share 1 account easily. Its lovely they have a savings account on there for you also that they put money in to every week out of your money because it helps you to save up.

Very fast friendly & efficient. Becoming a member has really been a life line in times of need , as well as day to day.. if needed to borrow very good rates and when saving has helped me achieve my saving goals very quickly and budget for expensive times like Christmas. It's what a bank should be. How many banks can you ring up these days and speak to a real human being quickly? Well, you can with Derbyshire Community Bank. I think that's one of my favourite things about it. Also, the website is easy to use. Everything is simple to understand and the rates are competitive. Highly recommended.

Derbyshire Credit Union have been brilliant. I have been a customer for nearly 10 years now and have had no issues. You can easily view your account online and now you can apply for a top up loan and get it the same day without having to even leave your house, it's even better. I like the fact that you have to save money with them to (only a couple of pounds per week) but it all adds up. It's a perfect way to put money aside for Christmas or holidays and the user interface is clear and easy to use. I would highly recommend them to anyone. (member 6196)

DCB is an easy reliable place with real people interested in helping you out in dire situations or even if it's just make sure your a bit more financially safer, their APR isn't over the top like Provident so borrowing and paying back are relatively the same amount and they even provide you a service buy paying back a little extra you store credit up so once you've payed up you can have your savings which makes it feel like little bonus making life easier as you don't have to borrow again straight away. I've been with DCB for years now and can honestly say I've never been disappointed.

I have been a member with DCB for about 2 years now. The guys in the office go above and beyond to help you and will make decisions on personal basis. I save with these for Xmas and it has helped me so much especially with having small children. But also i have had a loan and topped it up. I have ALWAYS made my repayments so even though I had a recent CCJ come up on my credit file, they still gave me a top up on my loan. Again looking at you as an individual and not just saying no. I will continue to use DCB for years and years, as they have helped me when I have needed it. And again the Xmas savings is brilliant if you struggle to save as you can't touch it until November. It sorts me out for Xmas without having to worry. Thankyou again DCB! Life savers !!

Later with expansion as a result of popular demand by the public as a safe savings deposit organisation as well as an ethical money loans provider, ECU Directors, members and staff, decided to change the trading name to dcb (Derbyshire Community Bank) to reflect it's excellent finance services to the people of Derbyshire and East Staffordshire. I do most of my dcb activities on-line via the Internet, but I know that when I am in Derby, I can always go to their office in the centre of the city and be welcomed and greeted by friendly caring staff - Thanks to all of you.
