Station itself is nice, in a nice area however when its summer the trains are busy and the station tends to fill up with chavs coming from the rougher areas the trains stop at. Frequent trains to Southport (for connections to Wigan and Manchester) Frequent trains to Liverpool and Hunts Cross Step free access is available via the crossing

Quite a basic station, limited seating and bins. It does have completely step free access via the level crossing. Very easy to walk down to the beach and woodland footpaths.

Ok, so I must say this station has little to shout about, but it does its job and is still a good station with 2 similar entrance/exits which are there due to the level crossing
