London eye during nighttime, there is nothing much you can write, the pictures says it all. You can’t afford to miss this place if you are in UK, visited 2019 pre covid. The atmosphere and the vibe was really happening

The view, The Eyes, The bridge and the Tower are amazing. There are a lot of people in a day time, come in the night. You will find something interest you. But don't stay late, sometime people scary.

The view was great. There were no wait times, which was also very convenient. It is definitely worth visiting while exploring London. The ticket price is a bit pricy though. Approx. 40€ p.P. The overall experience takes about 30 min.

It's a 30min ride and you can see most of London at a slow pace, I personally prefer the London Eye over the Shard because you can see a lot of London Landmarks, whereas the shard can be quite overwhelming. My recommendation is to go with someone who knows the landmarks and iconic buildings. Of course, I would not recommend for people who are afraid of heights! But I would recommend buying the ticket as part of another London experience, it makes the trip much more worth while.

A half hour slow turning ride that gives you amazing panoramic view of the London cityscape. Each pod holds up to 25person with ipads installed in each pod for further info on what you're seeing.

We used the pier via the services from 'City Cruises' but it's as you expect, busy for most of the hours where the services are used. Getting here from public transport, Waterloo (Jubilee, Northern, Bakerloo and Waterloo & City Line) or Westminster (Jubilee, Circle and District line). There are more than a few bus stops scattered around here if that's the service you're taking to get here.

Got the boat at about 1pm on a Saturday. Very busy as expected however the staff on the boat were full of energy. The tour and speech continued all the way from London Eye pier to the Greenwich pier which i found very entertaining. Only downside is there is no ticket office here but there is one on the other side of the river, only a 5 minute walk away.

This is the one attraction that you just have to ride when you visit the city of London. Firstly, If you have ever been to a fun fare well this is a bigger version of a Ferris wheel but it's family friendly because it travels around so slowly it's hard to notice it's moving. Also you walk into a large, mostly glass capsule which has a central large oval bench for passengers to sit in. Each capsule is fully enclosed so you cannot fall out or get wet (if it's raining). Secondly, if you want to get an aerial perspective of the city of London, this is the best way to take pictures and to London from the air. You can see most of all of London's famous landmarks and the views are just breathtaking. Bring your camera and camcorders for views of London that you will never forget day or night. Please remember this is a very popular attraction and the queues are very long so either arrive early or come very late to avoid the crowds. You can even book in advanced or online. I give this a five out of five even if you don't ride it, it's still stunning just to look at

I only removed one star cos I went during the summer and the lines for the London Eye were ridiculous and blocking the entrance to the pier. However, the river boat was lovely and gentle. The seating was plush and it was very clean. I took the river boat from London Eye to North Greenwich, using my contactless card, I was only charged £6.80. Would definitely recommend.

The London eye is an amazing experience.

Situated right beneath the London eye and adjacent to Westminster bridge. You get a great panoramic view of the houses of parliament and the big ben. You can also see in the distance St. Paul's cathedral and thee Millenium bridge. Very easy to board the river cruise, has a ramp so it's easy for wheelchair users and baby strollers. There is a ticket window to your left as you enter the ramp but I would recommend purchasing tickets online, it will save you a lot of time.

What a wonderful experience at sunset 🌆

Busy ferry wharf: river cruises and transit ferries (Thames Clippers). Entrance and ticket office is to the right and immediately adjacent to The London Eye as you are facing towards the river. You have to queue for your boat in the open weather, so bring your brolly in inclement weather. (There is an undercover waiting room - but, of course, if you use this you are no longer in the queue, which can be long on weekends and peak periods).

Great pit stop for the ferry cruise. Handy as it's perfect location to arrive to see big Ben. London Eye. Royal festival hall. South bank. Plus loads of loads of great restaurants. Great spot for taking pictures. Staff were friendly and nice with great care given to safety. The cruise was lovely. Great views. Took some lovely pics. Commentary was good too on the cruise. Prices were very reasonable too. Would recommend to everyone to try.

Literally sitting over the Thames riverside this cafe is a great place for breakfast! Freshly cooked food, quick service and friendly. The London Eye (the giant Ferris wheel found in many London panoramas) located on the River Thames is meant to deliver great views – not a thrilling ride. It circles around slowly, offering an unbeatable bird's-eye perspective of London's South Bank. However, those with a fear of heights should beware: When you're more than 400 feet high, the 360-degree views can be a bit disconcerting. While some travelers say the London Eye is an absolute must-do, others found the experience to be overrated. Some recent travelers said the lines were too long (upward of a couple hours) and the ticket prices too high. However, many others were amazed by the views, especially Parliament and Buckingham Palace. Visitors were keen to note that this ride is not a fast one, with the average rotation of the wheel at least 30 minutes long. You can also combine a ride on the London Eye with a guided tour.

My kids and wife loved the spectacular view looking down on London. To avoid cueing recommend to buy fast lane. There is so much to do for families - e.g. London Aquarium. The playground just next to the London eye was appreciated by my kids - and of course us parents.

This is the second time that we've been in the attraction and it never seems to amaze. You can hardly feel the movement and it's a great platform to take photos or videos of the city of London. The London Eye as a giant wheel, moves slowly and you get on and step of it as it keep revolving. The capsules in which people are accommodated, are air conditioned but today being extremely sunny, we felt warm inside. It's a great way to see the city. If you can, buy the Fast Track ticket and beat the huge, serpentine queues.

River Cruise from London Eye was great. My cruise guy was Ben and he was humorous and funny. Learned about the points of attraction along the river from his funny explanation. I bought a combo ticket online that included the River Cruise and London Eye ride. It is cheaper than what you have to pay if you walk in and buy the tickets. If you don't want to spend any money, try the 4D experience at the London Eye ticket office. Just try it to see it for yourself. It's free! Really.
