Apartment hotel. What a brilliant idea. Stay on London, near to loads of stuff and don't worry about taking a takeaway back to your room. Our gel guilty about buying stuff from a super market. The Marlin was very friendly and excellent location. Definitively stay there again.

Had a great time during our stay at the Marlin with our toddler,
Found our initial room on the 3rd floor a little out of our requirements but staff were quick to offer an alternative and with a small upgrade fee we had an amazing 9th floor room with a stunning view of the city of London, the night view in particular was breathtaking.
Room was very spacious with a cot on request for our daughter, cleanliness was excellent.
The staff were especially supportive during three night stay with every detail we required and I would definitely considering returning if there is a next time.

Marlin Waterloo is an average hotel overall.
The room I stayed in was clean, neat, spacious and had a beautiful view of the London skyline. The location is very central and nothing is ever too far from the hotel.
However, the room decor was very basic and reminded me of your standard Premiere Inn hotel. Not only this, the breakfast options were extremely poor. Toast/pastry and cereal was all Marlin Waterloo had to offer. Very disappointing and brought the score down by 1 star. Don't get breakfast from this hotel.

First time here. The hotel is fine and the room was comfortable and did have its own kitchenette which was different. There’s a lot going on close to the hotel and Waterloo is a vibrant place with lots of things to see. I’m not a massive fan of a Continental breakfast, and it was served in what looked to be the hotel’s conference area.

Helpful staff, got upgraded to a nice 9th floor room with a view. For the price, would have expected the gym to be bigger and better equipped - small and basic. Overall though a great place to stay for access to Southbank area.

Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, well located near North Lambeth and Waterloo tube stations. Breakfast not worth it but can be opted out. Definitely recommend this hotel.

This was my first time to review a hotel in London.
I booked a studio room coming with a complete kitchenette including silverware spoons, forks , knives , teaspoons , kettle, microwave, dish washing machine and an electric stove. There is also a good refrigerator.
Surroundings :
The room was quiet and you would barely hear anyone outdoor.
Bed and sheets :
The bed was comfy and sheets were clean. I guarantee you will have a goodnight sleep with no issues.
Bathroom :
There was enough towels and complimentary soap and shower gel. The walk-in shower is amazing and the hot water is available all day.
TV :
The TV has plenty of channels with Bluetooth and HDMI ports if you wish to connect your own device.
Sockets :
There is a USB sockets to charge your phone. There is a near bed socket as well
Amnities :
Complimentary English tea and sugar .
Receiption:
Ask for Faisal and Lisseith as they made the check-in / check-out smooth and under 10 minutes.
Room service :
Your room will be cleaned every 4-5 days unlike daily clean I used to see in Cairo hotels.
Breakfast :
Well, of you have an option not to pay for it , I would encourage you to skip it. It came with a very limited buffet. Cheese , croissant, coffee, tea, juice, bacon , fruits, milk and yogurt. For me, I would have loved to have omlete in the morning. First time to see a British hotel doesn't offer an English breakfast. I didn't like the breakfast experience at all.
Conclusion :
This is one of the best hotels for you as a solo traveler or couples and it would make you feel home. Just skip the breakfast and you won't miss much ☺️

Very nice location in Waterloo. Clean and modern room with nice views of the big ben and london eye. Breakfast wasn't worth the price, not much to choose from.
E. A.
Easy going hotel. Apartment was well laid out. Staff very helpful. Didn't have the breakfast as all that was on offer was continental. Do not use sainsbury store next door.... far too expensive. Co op across the road much better priced.
E. B.
Nice place, especially if you have a few people and want to stay somewhere I London with access to kitchen facilities. We'll located and clean. I stayed in a studeo room which FYI is the same size as a standard hotel room with a kitchenette. The photos are a little deceptive of how small the rooms are but still it great value. Breakfast was included in my price and it was quite good value if your staying in Central all day and want start off with a full stomach. I'm currently on a gluten milk and free diet so I had to ask for some oak milk for coffee and eat the bacon out the breakfast burgers they had made up, but I'm sure if I asked they might have made something specifically. Would definitely use again and recommend to those visiting the city as a high quality and pleasant place to stay.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Difficult to get basic things replenished like tea bags, towels and toilet roll without many reminders. Very close to metro station. Rear facing rooms overlook train tracks. Very noisy if one opens the window for fresh air
G. B.
We found the Marlin to be clean and comfortable. The location is great for the London Eye, Southbank and other tourist attractions. It would have had 5 stars if the breakfast had been more organised. Used plates etc. used by previous guests were not cleared away and the hot water/ coffee dispensers were not monitored and did run dry. We can however recommend Balance cafe on Lower Marsh a short walk away, for breakfast
M. H.
Very good hotel on the footsteps of the London Eye.
Staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The lobby was really good and the layout is great.
We were on the 4th floor
Make sure you use the card properly in the lifts as you go in press your card then put in the level
Room was good looked bigger in pictures
A little kitchenette and then the room
Only thing was the toilet is right next to the bed which I really don't like.
Gym was good
Food was good

Good service apartments. Helpful staff. Walking distance from London eye and Waterloo station. Book your Breakfast in advance as it is not included in room tarif. Highly recommend
B. R.
Friendly staff. Clean rooms. The bed wasn't overly comfortable. The shower was just adequate.
T. H.
I stayed here for 2 nights. I had the best service my every need was catered for. The staff were super helpful and always ready to assist you. I only wished I stayed here longer. Deffo a hotel I recommend will definitely be a place I’d come to next time
Z. L.
Great hotel, good facilities, and helpful staff.
Very comfortable stay

We went on this as part of my sons 18th birthday, It was a brilliant ride and so fast we couldn't stop smiling, Richard and Bill were excellent as the driver and host ,it was so much fun we have decided to come back and do it again next weekend.
t. b.
Can't fault this hotel, walking distance to some great attractions, clean, great staff, large rooms with kitchen, lots of restaurants 5 minutes walk away, recommended, I will be back on my next trip.
M. F.
Perfect location and was great for a family of 4 as our room had a little kitchenette which was spotless. Staff where lovely and very helpful. Will be using this hotel again if we come back to London.
K. M.
This place is awesome. So reasonably priced. Big shower, air conditioning, full kitchen in the room with hob, fridge and DISHWASHER! Highly recommend. It's close to Waterloo station. The staff were awesome and so helpful. It's in a great part of London.
S. D.
The Marlin was spotless, lovely staff, they were very helpful. Hotel is in a good location. The room is spotless and roomy. The only fault was the mattress was too hard and the sofa bed was uncomfortable. Otherwise had a great weekend with my mum and 2 daughters.
L. W.
Excellent hotel. The second time we have stayed as a family of four. Right from the booking process to check out everything went smoothly. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean, a good size for 4 , beds were comfy and the kitchenette was well equipped. Our electric blew on the first morning and the receptionist was up in our room within 5 minutes to sort out the problem, the faulty toaster that cause the problem was replaced immediately, we were expecting to be waiting all day but the staff were quickly on hand to sort the problem. The location is great with the London eye, Westminster bridge, War museum on the doorstep just 5 mins walk away. Sainsburys,Tesco, coop local next door and across the road, theresplenty of bars and coffee shops around and the bus stops outside the hotel and round the corner to most tourist areas. All in all an excellent stay and we will be returning
P. G.
I had a nice time. I came for peace and quiet to finish some work. The place was clean and they respected my request as well as they could. The location was very good and I slept well. Staff were easy to talk to. Only down point is that the superior rooms are a bit small for what you pay. In the photos it looks far more spacious than it is.
j. b.
Lovely place to stay. Helpful friendly staff. Near to everything.
S. B.
Perfect hotel for our family London break. Great to have the kitchenette for the mornings and even has a dishwasher! Nice clean rooms, comfortable bed and good sized pull out bed for the kids. Modern bathroom with good shower (no bath, but we prefer that anyway). 2 mins to tube station or 10 mins to Southbank or Big Ben. 3 supermarkets within walking distance. Will stay again.
L. D.
Lovely hotel, extremely friendly staff, clean and in a great location for central London.
P. K.
I visit there on a professional basis, the room I go to is a one bedroom suite and is well furnished for purpose. There is also a restaurant and a gym
R.
Good location, short walking distance from South Bank with a lot of bars and restaurants. Clean decent sized rooms. Staff were friendly. Convenient shops nearby i.e. Sainsbury's Local, Tesco Express.. coffee shops etc
p. g.
Centrally located just up from Lambeth North tube station. We were in the cheap rooms (classic) which are on the tenth floor. Nice size room with Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge, iron and board, big screen TV, king size bed. Continental breakfast was much more than that; cereals, fruit, yoghurts, sausage or bacon rolls, toast and jam, sliced salamis and cheese, pastries, juices, tea, coffee etc. There is also a gym. Nice communal areas. Face coverings are advised in all open areas. Highly recommended especially if you are visiting the South Bank area.
M. O.
Very clean and very friendly staff and comfy rooms and nice to have kitchenette in your room
Very good location, 5 min walk to main attractions and 2 min walk to underground
Definitely would go again and highly recommend
J. H.
No complaints. Was what it says it was on the tin. Close to everything we wanted to be close to. Friendly staff
A. Y.
Had some emergency at home and stayed with Marlin for 8 nights during Christmas and New Year. The team was amazing and made my stay the 5 star expeience! The room was spacious, everything was clean and tidy. Love the kitchen in room as well! You have everything you need at Marlin! The prime location is a bonus too!
D. R.
Clean, well furnished and spacious rooms. The front office was competent and helpful. The bar has a great selection of beers on tap. The breakfast is nothing to be excited about and the sandwiches were honestly a bit rubbish, bacon on a dry burger bun is not a bacon sandwich. But at least the coffee at breakfast was excellent.
For some reason my room did not have a coffee machine or a hair dryer. Whilst other rooms in the same category at the very least had a coffee machine. However everything else was absolutely lovely and I’ll happily stay here again. But maybe next time longer than one night so I know to ask for a coffee machine. Give the Marlin a go, it’s well worth your money.
K. E.
We had one night in London, and this was the perfect refuge! The staff upgraded our room to their executive floor because there was a party happening downstairs, so we had some more distance. The bed was very comfy, and the shower was amazing -- they even had great hair conditioner, which has proven tricky to find in Europe! It was very accessible to the tube and key sights. I'd definitely recommend.
W.
Nice hotel. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to Big Ben and other tourists attractions. Rooms are very nice, we had a little kitchen area in ours. They don’t have breakfast in the morning, but there are several cafes within a short walk, and a small grocery store across the street with sandwiches and other food. hotel has a very cool modern London feel
R. S.
Visited for a training event. Meeting rooms and amenities all spotlessly clean. Literally a 2 minute walk to the underground (bakerloo line).
A. I.
Very nice hotel in the perfect location for the price. Right by a tube station and plenty of food and pubs. I do wish they had room service because after our wonder around, late the options for food may be limited if pub kitchens are closed. Staff is fantastic and the rooms are very clean. Bed it comfy and the property is well maintained. Views on the north side are nice.
A. D.
It's clean and comfortable room, good service
D. M.
Cleanest Hotel I've stayed in.
Proffesional, friendly staff.
Room was nice.
Only issue was that you could here the neighbouring rooms very loudly and clearly.
Not sure whether that was down to thin walls or loud guests.
Would stay again
D. W.
We only stayed one night, but enjoyed our short stay. The room was clean and comfortable, had a small kitchenette with a small hob, microwave and coffee/ tea making facilities. A Sainsbury’s located conveniently beneath and easy transport with Waterloo station just down the road. Would definitely stay here again.
K. S.
Friendly staff, Quick and easy check in. Great location.
Room was tidy and bed was comfy.
The air conditioning is quite loud to say the least. It's as if you leave the Induction fan on while cooking 24/7, Maybe even louder.
If you're a heavy sleeper this a great place for you. If you're a light sleeper keep this in mind.
P. M.
Very quiet due to the virus but clean and feels safe. Our apartment had all the necessities and staff were very accommodating. The restaurant was closed but there are lots of open restaurants nearby
J. C.
Stayed here for 1 night with 3 kids. Lovely hotel, pleasant staff and great location for Southbank and more.
H. P.
Highly satisfied with my stay at the Marlin Waterloo. The room was nicer than I expected even if they couldn't give me thr upgrade that was promised because of my Expedia VIP status. They did give me 25% off of the bar, which meant cheaper breakfast as well. That was the only part that wasn't great though; the buffet is mediocre... but it was not crowded at all and a great place for me to work so I still liked it for the convenience, just not the food. Finally, the staff I interacted with was super friendly and the room was really quiet even if right next to a train track!
M. R.
The service was absolutely way beyond our expectations! Any questions we had or requests we had prior our arrival was fulfilled and even more than that. We found the hotel very clean, well organized and we had everything that we needed. The location is good and very well connected to busses, the tube. We easily found great places for breakfast in the area with the assistance of the reception team as well. Also, we found great value for the price. Would recommend my friends as well.
K. E.
This hotel was good for the price and location. It's super close to the Lambeth North tube station and a couple of bus stops. The towels are nice and having a kitchenette was great. There were a few areas for improvement however. The beds were very firm, to the point of being mildly uncomfortable. The housekeeping was good about coming every day, but not very consistent about refilling everything used like the soaps and dishwasher cleaner. The shower was nice and new, except it seems like the facility may not be using the correct cleaning agent because the plastic was delaminating slightly. Also I didn't like that my king size bed was really just two twins put together with a seam in the middle. Overall, I would say that it's a good place to stay and worth the price, but if they make a few improvements it can easily go from good to great.
R. G.
Although we only stayed one night, it was a very comfortable visit. The room was a well-sized, attractive space. From the 9th floor we had a great view that included the Shard, St. Paul's, and the newest central skyscrapers. The wash facilities were immaculate. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very modern. A great location near Waterloo station, and a short walk from an underground car park.
Y. D.
Nice, Clean And specious. Staff is good. Rooms were fully equipped including cooking facility. Very near to most of the attractions, bus stops and rail stations. Grocery and restaurants are available exactly outside of the hotel so very conservative and saved lots of time.
S.
So clean, and the views! We were staying here for a work trip, and the experience was amazing. It was such a clean hotel, and the views from my room gave my the Eye and other great landmarks. The hospitality was wonderful, and it was right by a Lambeth station. So convenient!
A. s.
One of the best hotel in London! Great staff! Highly recommended to stay! I was in London over the weekend for Steel Yard music concert and I had booked a room here. They gave me a room and I went and it turned out that it hadn't been cleaned up yet! I went to them, they sincerely apologised for the same and within seconds I was allotted another room. The staff was highly humble and treated with great humility! The manager out there, Andrew was brilliant! He made sure I got the room as quick as possible!
C. C.
Love the hotel! Having your own fully equipped kitchenette is a blessing. There is two supermarkets around the corner to get the needed stuff. Also, the staff is always nearby when you need them. I even had a friend coming over and she said: "it's like visiting you at your home".
S. K.
Hotel was new, so everything is clean and fresh. Underground station is only a half block away. Staff was very helpful. The room was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. We were glad we picked this hotel. Lots of reasonably-priced food options nearby on Lower Marsh street. Easy walking distance to London Eye.
S. H.
Great hotel! Very good size rooms which are not typical for your UK hotel room.
Five minute walk from Waterloo train station . Three minute walk to the tube. Two convenience grocery stores near buy.
Stayed for nine nights! An excellent hotel to stay in while visiting London.
D. M.
Great hotel with very polite stuff. Small but well equipped kitchen. We took the delux studio with a sofa (2 adults and grown-up) and the sofa might be good for 2 child. No noise from the street and very close to a metro station (Lambeth North) with lot of restaurants (including Gluten-free) and supermarkets. Also contains a spa, gym and a secured lagguge room.
s. c.
Extremely good location! Nice hotel! Beside it has a supermart too! Room comes with kitchen thus you can cook if you want to.
Staffs are ok but can be better. Room is clean but shower room will get wet after shower.
I will come back and stay again if I am back in london.
Perhaps the staff can explain how the house keeping works as we came back to our hotel room in the afternoon 2 days and found our rooms not cleaned up yet even at 4pm. Only to be informed that we have to put up the tag for them to flean earlier which i never have this issue in any of the country i went.
However, its a small issue. I will be back!
T.
Nice hotel, reasonably priced and great location
I. K.
The Marlin Waterloo Hotel was a good value hotel relatively close by to many of the "touristy" sites in London. Access to public transportation was literally about a block away. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We were only in London for two days and it served as a good home base.
S. J.
Stayed to two nights. Very clean and plenty of space. Kitchen area well stocked pots etc dishwasher, fridge, microwave, TV , lovely bedding, towels and spare pillows an comfortable bed. Can't fault it, very good value for money and very close to tube station. Would use it again.
S. C.
Practical room, very closely located to the Waterloo tube station (10 minutes walk), but nothing luxurious. I also had a room that faced the interior courtyard and other rooms, so there was nothing spectacular about that.
The breakfast is pretty expensive for what it is (10 £), however there is a Pret a Manger just next door.
The hotel doesn't offer any products in the mini-bar, not even water, but there is a Nespresso machine, coffee and tea bags cups provided as well as a toaster, microwave and a kettle.
The check in and check out procedure takes unnecessary long, but the staff is friendly and tries its best.
Overall, I might return to this hotel in my future visit to London.
R. d. K.
After botching our initial accommodation, the Marlin was an absolute breath of fresh air. The staff were very helpful and understanding, made us feel welcome and couldn't have done enough for us. Our Executive Room was amazing and more than made up for our previous mistakes. Will definitely recommend this place and stay here again.
C. B.
Beautiful room got what was stated when booked. Clean and tidy, lovely views. fab fridge with all drinks mini bar. Amazing shower. Would stay again. Xx
D. K.
We made a group booking with work for this venue. People travelled from all over the UK to assemble. Good national links by rail, competitive accommodation rates and excellent conference facilities for work with some unique features. Hotel very central so unlimited choice of restaurants as well.
J. M.
Amazing hotel. We stayed two nights and paid less than 200€. In this geographical location an amazing deal. Especially, we liked the fragrance in the entry hall.
H. B.
The hotel was in a great location being only 15-20 mins walk to Westminster. Check-in was slow but the room more than made up for it. Good views, well sized and modern bathroom.
t. j.
Great hotel. Only hiccup was allocated superb room with bathroom specifically for disabled patrons. It's perfect if you need it but if you don't (as I thankfully don't) wasn't as suitable for me as a regular bathroom. Was told hotel was at capacity but room was booked well in advance.
Location, room quality and facilities great!!
H. T.
Very nice hotel, room was perfect and was modern and very clean and the kitchen was very handy in the room.
Pricey but you can understand once your there and you can see what you are getting for your money.
Location is perfect tube line 2 min down the road
L. E.
Excellent hotel. Danny and Gabriele are amazing bartenders in the hotel bar. We came back for a second visit just because of the bar and bartenders! Very nice room and the hotel has the most delightful aroma. Highly recommend.
J. B.
This hotel is a really great find. Rates are extremely reasonable and the room has a kitchenette with fridge, dishwasher, dishes, pots and utensils. French press coffee in the rooms is good as well. Wifi is strong. There is also a pull out couch in the room. I would recommend for both extended business stays and for young families. Nothing fancy here but excellent amenities for the price. Just a few blocks from Westminster bridge.
C. I.
Great rooms, good value
J. B.
Lovely comfortable room the only downside is the water flowing noise from the bathroom. Close the door and all is perfect. Great location, number 12 bus outside takes you to Trafalgar square. The food stalls on lower Marsh street are busy and offering free tasters.
E. G.
I was really happy with my stay here. Really nice staff. Really comfortable beds and rooms. Good shower facilities. The bar staff are really friendly. They new were really knowledgeable about what they were serving. ( Maneece ) was very professional and does a good job with making the customers feel welcome. I will be staying again.
R. A.
4.75 stars for reception staff. Quite helpful.
The property is new so everything is new and clean. But the deluxe apartment is not a apartment but just a room with a small pantry. It's more practical than a hotel room. The pantry is filled with basic amenities like crockery, micro wave, dishwasher, fridge and electrical chimney. Bathroom is small with no jet spray.
Locality is good enough. Sales bury is just a shop away. Underground station, lambeth north is just a minute walk. Small cafes and sandwiches are close by.
All in all besides room size every thing is good enough. We would like to come back.
P. W.
Excellent place to stay. Central location to all London has to offer.Extreamly clean rooms and Hotel interior. Well informed staff very helpful and informative.Would l stay here again?....Yes I would without hesitation ! If you have a vehicle use Britannia parking in upper marsh street SE1 7EL a short walk away.
D. S.
Hotel location is good: there's a tube station nearby and a bus station is just outside the lobby.
The room is very clean, it has a dishwasher and a reasonable kitchenette - with milk, sugar, salt, tea and coffee.
The bed is ok, however we needed the additional sofa bed, which is teribble: even a child will suffer from back pain after a night on that sofa.
There is no air circulation as the window cannot be opened; so, in case you fry something in the kitchenette, the small will stay there forever.
Yet we give the hotel 4 stars because of its location and its rasonable price (in London scale).
A. M.
Great experience despite some details (sticky floor at check in and no mattress in the baby cot - some places do not provide one but warn about it). Spacious and modern room with comfortable bed and sofa bed, handy kitchen with many handy details - water boiler, toaster... and everything necessary for cooking - brand new smart TV and good noise isolation despite subway and railway bridge in front - which was our son's favourite view! Free self service laundry machines - despite a system to avoid using 2 o 3 machines at a time by one single user would be convenient! Good fares being London. Incredible situation with London Eye and Big Ben at 5 minutes walking. We will repeat!
K. G.
Huge rooms at a great price for London. Right near two tube stops; Waterloo and North Lambeth. The staff is nice enough, not super friendly and don’t expect above and beyond for service. Room was clean except it took almost a week to get a fresh set of sheets. Kitchenette in most rooms. Executive rooms are 7th floor and up. Back of the hotel looks over a rail yard and walls are pretty thin.
A. S.
Lovely staff. Clean and very elegant touches to the rooms. Highly recommended...and definitely it us a place that I will visit again.
K.
This was close to being 5 stars. The reception was a little bit too relaxed when checking me in and didn't explain the wifi or about the resraraunt etc. But the hotel room itself was fantastic. Great bed. Nice tv that can do screen mirroring with an android phone. Nice shower. The room is spaciou. Its close to street markets during the week which has awesome food. Its close to the tube and Waterloo which is a main transport hub. I'd stay here again.
K. W. T.
Excellent location, short walk away from Big Ben & Westminster Abbey. Tube station & bus stop within a minute walk too. There is supermarket & cafe just beside the hotel. Convenient to get ingredient to do some light cooking on the mini kitchen attached in the room. Utensils & amenities are clean and comfortable to use.
H. P.
Fantastic apartment hotel. Very high standard on the rooms, fresh bathrooms and comfortable beds. Many channels on TV. Close to communications and city centre. The staff was nice and daily cleaning of the rooms. I highly recommend this place. Will travel here again.
Z. G.
Great hotel for international travelers who don't have a good international phone service: you get a smartphone in your room, which you can use to make international phone calls and use the mobile data (unlimited and you are not charged extra... as far as I know). Very nice, modern room; you even have a speaker in the bathroom! :D We got a room on the 9th floor, which had beautiful views of the city.
M. M.
During our trip to London in December, my boyfriend and I spent two nights at the Marlin Waterloo. The hotel is in an extremely central location. Just steps away from the tube, restaurants and shops.
Our room was elegantly designed and fully equipped for a short or long term stay. he bed was comfortable and the wifi was good. We had a fantastic view of the city skyline from the windows, which was easily the best part about the stay!
Overall, we had a very nice experience! I would totally recommend this place.
A. s.
Such a wonderful experience of living in Marlin apartments. Great hospitality, prompt sevice and super facilities. Amazing Location adds to the beauty of this place. Near to not one but 2 tube stations and bus stop is literally outside the hotel. Near to various grocery stores, pubs and souvenir shops. It is walking distance from London eye and imperial war museum. I would highly recommend it to all the visiting tourists.
M. R.
I stay here for work almost every week having stayed in numerous hotels in and around the area. This one fits the bill for business travel: it's quiet, clean and comfortable. Pretty good prices and the staff are friendly, too. Can't ask for much more than that!
I. W.
Good location and rooms were in excellent order. Would stop here again
S. A.
We arrived before the check in hour and asked for our luggage to be kept. The receptionist showed us where to keep the luggage - in the under ground floor- but did not mention to help carrying it.
Also not very “client friendly” is the deposit one has to pay when checking in (which will be refunded at no specified time after leaving) and the need for extra payment if one asks for checking out after 11am.
We stayed in a so-called «Delux studio with one Queen bed», which was rather expensive. The «one» bed was in fact two beds jointed together. The kitchen was not well equipped. We were on the second floor, with a wall in front of the window, about 3m apart. If you want to avoid this you’ll have to ask to stay on a higher floor.
On the positive side, we had a spacious room, it was calm and clean. The wi-fi worked well. The hotel is very near public transports, including the underground station of Lambeth North (be aware of stairs).
C. P.
This hotel was super convenient and nice. We were able to buy groceries and eat in our room when everywhere else was closed. We really enjoyed our stay there and could get anywhere in the city from the tube stop they was right next to the hotel.
O. P.
Very nice hotel. Price/quality ratio = great. Convenient location. Easy breakfast at Pret A Manager or Costa. Sansbury and Costcuter in 1 min walk. Small kitchen in the room. Two bottles of water daily. Free cell phone includes internet and free calls. Dishes, glasses all present. Bar in the hotel works until 2 a.m. Highly suggest The Crown & Cushion pub nearby this hotel if you are looking for the real authentic London pub.
T. W.
Absolutely fabulous, perfect for family.
Check in quick and professional. Room was ready early.
The room was ideal as we were travelling with two infants so to have a small kitchenette was perfect for a quick bite in the evening when they would be tired and would not cope well in a restaurant.
Situated 5-7 mins from westminster it was Ideal close to all the amenities of the Southbank and a good range of restaurants and pubs if needed. Waterloo train and tube station again a 5-7 min walk away (if step free access needed) or Lambeth north (bakerloo line) is about 2 mins away.
We were very happy with the room and the hotel and will definitely be looking to stay again when next in london with the family.
If travelling with small children there is a park about 5 mins walk away with a large enclosed playground.
A.
Accommodations were very ok, self-sufficient kitchen with all needed appliances, very clean. I was on a business trip there, company paid. If I were to go on my own, I'd probably find it too expensive.
As with all hotels though, booking in advance will get you a good deal.
M. R.
Nice hotel - nice location to see IMAX !
M. G.
It is a practical hotel with excellent rooms and helpful staff. However, I have marked them down for not having breakfast facilities, although there is a Pret next door and their irrational need to take £50 from my card, even though I said I was not requiring any extras.
A. R.
Nice hotel. Room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. Was a bit further out of city centre than we thought - but our fault for not checking location.
C. T.
Very clean and quiet. Great location within walking distance to many of the main attractions in London. Minutes away from Lambeth North tube station. 24 hour mini-market a few doors away with a Sainsbury store even closer. Stayed on second floor with view over the street. Next time I would like to stay on higher floor with a view of London skyline. Rooms are comfortable and you could cook meals if you wanted. Room had small kitchenette which was well appointed. Stayed for 10 nights with no complaints. Paid for a late checkout. All staff were courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

really nice hotel only problem was bar was closed for our weekend break

Great hotel. Pretty recently built so everything is new. The room has a kitchenette with cooking surface, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, fridge and dishwasher, as well as cutlery, pots, pans, etc. which is very handy if you want to cook your breakfast before going to see things in London. The location is very good - 10-15 minutes walk to the Big Ben, 7 minutes to the London eye, grocery shops and restaurants nearby, post office is right next door. The room also has a nice bonus - a mobile phone with unlimited talk/text/data that you can use and take with you while staying. The room has 2 usb ports for charging and an HDMI connection to the TV. There is a safe in the room. The staff is very nice. You can store your luggage before check-in and after checking out. A couple of minor cons: British king size bed is an American queen size actually. Only some rooms that are 7th floor or higher have good views. Anyway, the location, convenience and condition of the hotel definitely shadow the minor cons.

Started here for a week with my wife and two kids. Great apartment hotel - clean, nice big rooms, kitchenette and laundry for kids, it's all there. And the location is amazing - 5 mins walking from London eye, Big Ben, etc. Great place to stay.

Good price-quality ratio. Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff and attentive service. Breakfast was fine; not too much choice, but high quality ingredients.
S. H.
Worth it for the kitchens in the rooms and chocolate doughnuts at the breakfast buffet.
More reliable than an air BnB.
M. M.
Value for money fantastic location 10 min walk to London eye close to tube & sainsburys next door. We had a room on 9th floor had view of shard. Room spotlessly clean comfortable big bed & smart TV. Handy luggage room to leave your stuff before room is ready & also afterwards so you can make the most of your stay. All staff were very helpful & polite.
k. D.
Nice hotel..
Central, if you are looking to walk towards Big Ben, Houses or Parliment..
River trips..
Hotel is clean and staff are very nice.
Always busy and lots of guests.
R. K.
Located near Waterloo station, this very comfortable hotel is a nice base for exploring London. London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square etc are all within walking distance. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, This hotel goes on my favourites list!
L. O.
A very nice hotel in the middle of London, bus and train station is within walking distance so you can go everywhere. They dont serve breakfast here but there is a Pret A Manger, a pub, a fried chicken place and several market stores as neighbors, so you wont be lacking for food here. They also have a free washer/dryer room for laundry at the basement which is very useful. The only thing to note is if you drive your own car, you need to research where to park your car, there are several nearby within 10 minutes walking distance.
A. S.
We stayed here in October! Beautiful rooms, friendly staff and very conveniently located! Bus stop right outside - 5 mins rides to most tourist spots and 2 mins walk to the train station!
P. k.
Edited after they have repaid to me.
——
I cannot recommend hosting anything at the venue.
I’ve been having a trouble over a refund for the past 5 months. I’ve organized a party at the bar; bartenders were very professional and everyone had a good time. However, the admin people are sub par. One person told me refund was in process over a month ago. Still waiting. I’ve spent quite sometime just to follow up with them on this matter for the past half a year.
R. T.
Just an overnight stay, but very comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and nice smell of new carpet in the corridors. Recommended
P. S.
The hotek owns a good place to start sight seeing London. You have to transfer from Airport railways by tube to go there.
We had some trouble to change the room, because the outlook from the first room showed a concrete wall. The apprentice at the reception refused to let us check the room in advance. Next day, the manager of duty decided to let us move to another roon to have a better outlook, thanks 👍.
In general, that hotel can be booked well for business trips!
T. C.
Rooms and hotel are nice. However the night reception staff leave a little to be desired. This was booked through work for a business stay and there was some confusion around payment. The receptionist was not helpful in trying to sort and really came across as miserable for someone working in a client facing environment.
E. B.
Very convenient location by Lambeth North and Waterloo tube stations. The rooms are excellent, with AC, a kitchenette with dish and silverware, a foldout sofa, a large TV, and even a complimentary hotel-owned smartphone that can be used to navigate maps and the internet while exploring the city and surrounding areas. The management sometimes seems a little scattered at the front desk, but they are very accommodating. Sometimes the key cards don't work - I think only two may be assigned to a room. Free laundry and a 24/7 bar are great perks. All around a convenient, comfortable place to stay!
J. Y.
This service apartment is brand new and at a very convenient location. Everything is working fine howecer I found the design of the shower area is a little weird (as in the attached photo). The shower water could easy be splashing to the surrounding and flooding the floor. And there is no tray to put our shower gel or shampoo.
D. B.
Very nice, location is good for sight seeing. Friendly staff, they have a kitchen but they don't offer food yet. I guess it's a relatively new hotel.
I. A.
Great room great service and great staff, but some very simple things are weirdly missing. There's no minibar in the room, the walls are annoyingly thin and the hotel doesn't provide tooth brush kits
M. E.
The room is fabulous nice bed, utilities, etc. The location is perfect near enough to london's attractions but far from the crowds
K.
Room was excellent and reasonably priced given the proximity to central London and the nearby Waterloo Station. Staff were very friendly and helpful, I was left stranded for several hours by my transport arrangments failed to arrive for several hours after i had checked out and the night staff treated me incredibly well the situation. I will definitely use this hotel again.
T. S.
The staff where very friendly, and the room was lovely. Being situated 10min walk from Waterloo station and a few minutes walk from the backealoo line it is ideally situated for a visit to London. The price was not bad either.
A. s.
Great hotel, with very friendly and accommodating staff, especially at the front desk. The location was great, close to most important landmarks of London.
Would recommend!
J. S.
Liked it, and great location for my visit.
R. H.
A fine diamond at a very good spot, close to the London Eye and a lot more landmarks. Has everything needed, nice and soundproof room, complimentary gym, had a great time there.
M. T.
Great hotel, very modern and clean. Rooms come with a small kitchen which is useful. Well located friendly staff
S. G.
Great location. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Good night sleep. 10/10
S. H.
Great place to stay in! The rooms are very nice and clean, beautiful views as well and the staff are very friendly! Will definitely book again!
A. C.
Location 10 min walk to london eye, sainsburys next door for supplies. Room very clean modern fittings. Large smart t.v. rainfall shower. Staff very helpful luggage room very handy.
R. M.
Amazing reception by the staff. The place is super clean and this is maintained throughout.
I wish there was Netflix though.🙁
Nonetheless I would be delighted to stay here again.😊😊
T. S. B.
Marlin Waterloo is a modern hotel, with no wall-to-wall carpets in the rooms. The rooms are clean and spacious, and well laid out. A full kitchen was available in our room, making it easy to get a great start in the morning.
There are also USB outlets, so you do not need converters to charge USB devices (unless C to C).
A fitness center is available, and a bar is also on site.
A short walk to the underground Lambeth North (Bakerloo line).
London Eye, London Dungeon, Shrek Adventure and Sea life aquarium are within a short walking distance. Just a few minutes more, and you'll be at parliament and Big Ben.
We were very satisfied with our stay.
M. R.
Rooms are not big, but they are clean, nicely decorated, and the location can't be beat. The rooms are quite even though it is next to the train line. Great place
K. T.
Great service and the hotel was very nice. Room was fresh and clean. Perfect location very near subway and just 10min walk to the London eye.
M. M.
SNAFU on registration immediately corrected by manager and 10 of us were offered free beverage at the bar while we waited for the solution.
Note to visitors. no restaurant but very nice local store for food items and a kitchenette in the room.
Walking distance to many traditional tourists sites.
The Eye, Parliament, Westminster, Florence Nightingale museum
G. w.
Would so recommend this place. we stayed looking over the courtyard sort of thing but the room was clean and really comfortable with a kitchen coffee machine and even got a smart phone in the room
c. p.
The hotel room is so good it had a little kitchenette and the beds were so comfortable. The hotel is next to all attractions especially the London Eye. Thank you for having us😊
V. P.
Very courteous staff, good facilities. Wifi is great! The rooms have a good set of amenities. Room service is amazing too!
D. M.
Nice hotel. Friendly staff. The sofa bed is not so comfortable though. Excellent location.
I. C.
Very good location : close to tube station and bus stops, proximity to key tourist spots. Convenient neighborhood: Costa coffee , Pret A Manger, Tesco Express and Saintsbury Local are around, many small local restaurants along Lower Marsh.
K. L.
Good room, bed was kinda uncomfortable. Nice kitchen facilities for a longer stay. Within walking distance of a lot of good landmarks, and restraunts.
S. V.
Very nice little service apartment hotel in Waterloo. It's got a Pret A Manger and a Sainsbury's downstairs, laundry and gym. The staff are really nice, always ready with a smile.
L. E.
Clean and comfortable with a kitchenette and laundry facilities. Great location. No restaurant but some great places to eat nearby and a Sainsbury's Local supermarket next door.
M. P.
Amazing room smell made us feel relaxed staff brilliant. Spotless and felt like a brand new mini apartment you will not be disappointed
G. T.
Very well located near Lambeth North station, very quick access to Central London via Bakerloo line. Spacious rooms, kitchenette and nice working spaces. Clean, comfortable and well maintained.
M. E.
Marlin Waterloo 180729
Try and avoid rooms at the back - security lights on 24/7, but curtains do a good job shutting it out. Some of the crockery was put away dirty, chocolate cake by the looks of it, and a previous occupant may have had fish, this was despite there being a dishwasher in the room. Convenient location for Waterloo, theatreland and Westminster though and staff were helpful.
T. S.
Beautiful neighbourhood, comfy rooms and reasonable prices. This is my second time booking at this hotel and it won't be the last
M. R.
Great new aparthotel with an awesome location. Staff is great. We stayed at Marlin Waterloo for over a month in July and really enjoyed our stay.
M. J.
It was very comfy and had practically all utilities.
K. S. (.
No restaurant on site.
You can order food from Deliveroo and collect from reception, but NOT the service I'd expect from a 4-star hotel...
That being said, room was immaculate.
J. V. R.
Good location Nice varied breakfast including Byron wrapped type of Rolls with eggs Sausage to choose from and Continental as well
C. e.
Good training/meeting venue. Coffee machine with two dispensers, one was out of order, the other one was trickling like someone having cystitis!!! Need to improve
M. T.
Great location,great price.
K. G.
A great hotel in an excellent location. Staff very friendly and accommodating and the rooms are spacious and well equipped.
S. M. K.
Brand new hotel. Close to London eye. The room was very nice, but the view was bad even though we had an executive room that was supposed to have a better view. The customer service was excellent.
O. O.
Nice hotel, room was pretty big and had everything you would need. We both found the bed a little uncomfortable but aside from that great location.
D. I. P. B.
Great place to stay, is near to the underground but also you can walk around 5 minutes to The Big Ben, the room was always clean and had a lot of space
N. F.
Very nice hotel, nice and clean rooms. Great view. Very helpful staff. Nice location.
D. B.
Enjoyed my stay here and found the room to be very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to others.
S. H.
The first thing you notice is the lovely smell when you walk in the front doors! The room was clean and well outfitted, and the best thing was that the windows opened!
T.
New hotel only open for 2 weeks, excellent service and accommodations with kitchenette. They really know how to take care of you in the EU.
R. T.
One of the best hotel on a low/mid-range budget. Good location, good service, and the hotel is relatively new.
m. b.
Good hotel nice and clean but don't listen to the people on reception regarding travel times if you have a important appointment they obviously don't drive
S. T.
Nice hotel with good size rooms. Location is convenient to several tube stations and a short walk from the London Eye.
R. T.
Great hotel. Great staff. Great location. Breakfast is not worth it, go out in town for a full English breakfast.
M. M.

P. P.
Absolutely lovely place and very nice staff. Have to say, we dealt with Leanne on reception and she was SO LOVELY!! 100% will be staying there again!
S.
Nice hotel. They could buy a few umbrellas for customers use. It does reason in London and hotel umbrellas are common service now.
J. A.

Nice, clean, convenient location. Does not have a restaurant which means breakfast service is not available, something one would expect in this price range.
K. C.
Lovely spacious and comfortable. Little Bar downstairs is perfect. Super stay
L. V.
Is located in the heart of London. There is a metro stop almost in front of the hotel. The rooms are big and clean. I recommend this hotel.
L. S.
Wonderful service in nice amenities. They even give you a free cell phone during your stay.
J. T.
Was greeted by a nice lady called Ola who answered all of my questions and whilst I waited I went to the bar which had a nice feel to it very nice decor and a lady called Lovina served me and was exceptional with her customer service skills. I would definitely come back here
C. T.
Not the nicest neighbourhood in London, but still practical as 150m away from Lambeth North station on the Bakerloo line and a 7-8 min walk from the Waterloo station.
T. A. L. (.

5 for the rooms. We’ve stayed in 3 different rooms and always sleep well. Very clean and comfortable. The fridge in the room that was not a studio isn’t very cold and had no freezer section. That was disappointing because we like to keep a bag of ice for our drinks. The bar is closed this time. They said they’re renovating, but it’s just closed. No work is being done. There’s no coffee in the lobby, and no food service at all. BUT, the rooms are nice and spacious for an affordable price. It’s right by Lambeth Station (Bakerloo line) and a short walk too Waterloo Station. On the same block, there are coffee shops, a small market, bars, and food.

Clean and well equipped. Small and well equipped gym.
The room we got is relatively small for 4 guests. There is a supermarket nearby
The hotel is great for guests who did not take with breakfast.
There are also 2 excellent cafes near the hotel. When I pop into London this hotel will be a top priority.
