Just stayed at Premier Inn at 20 St Mary At Hill, City Of London, EC3R 8EE, lovely stay, excellent help from the receptionist (who came out of the hotel to show me the disability lift and how to work it). She was bright welcoming and happy, couldn’t do enough for my daughter and myself. Room was large, extremely clean and the beds were comfy and supply of extra pillows. Had a meal in the restaurant, so tasty, quick service and perfect portions. Breakfast the same. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Had 2 lovely nights and highly recommend this hotel. No faults at all how to work it). She was bright welcoming and happy, couldn’t do enough for my daughter and myself. Typical Premier Inn. Room clean and tidy, staff helpful. Breakfast plentiful.
Only complaint would be the conveyor toaster at breakfast. It was so poor you had to put bread through 3 times to get any colour in the toast which caused a long queue.

Ok for a one night stay. Room was in a corner so very dark. The toilet stopped flushing in the morning so I had to use the bathroom bin to flush with water, not great. Convenient for what we were doing in London.
J. F.
Good service and nice and quiet. Primarily due to the location I believe. Staff are polite and professional and the room was good. Reasonable nights sleep and enjoyed the bottomless breakfast.

Staff Member behind the desk was Rude we had booked a room at side of each so the kids could be close together but found out we had to be put on different floors! No extra toilet roll in the bedroom luckily we was only there for one night.. down stairs in the restaurant we used the toilet and there was something spilt on the floor that had been left and 2 of the ladies toilets were blocked up so had to use the disabled one

When I first arrived (on crutches),the flight stairs at the entrance was daunting, but my taxi driver immediately found a wheel chair lift to reception and I soon found myself in a ground floor room a short distance away. The Restaurant was down another flight of steps but accessible by lift. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast the next day. The room was very clean and comfortable and all the staff were helpful and polite. This the cheapest hotel I have stayed at in London but also one I would happily take my Wife to. Functional and comfortable in an historic part of London.

It's not bad, the location is nice, a quieter part of London a short walk from the Tower of London and good transport links.
Only downsides all the vending machines were empty or broken, the bar downstairs did not sell any snacks and one off the lifts was out of order and it is quiet a big hotel with 9 floors.

Loved our stay, staff very friendly, slightly disappointed at cold drinks machine not work on arrival, plus very limited selection on what draft beers were available
S. A.
Perfect location for city cruise breaks as only 15 mins walk. Very Close to Sky Garden, train stations, bus routes and food places etc
Enjoyed the stay and staff were friendly and helpful when asked upon.
Great for a couple of nights. Frustrating you not allowed to open window as would be nice for fresh air rather than rely on air conditioning and our room view was not great but wasn’t that bothered as not really spending much time in room. Recommend for booking breakfast (all you can eat for price so go hungry) or dinner if wanted as limited seats available as very busy hotel.
Room was clean enough as was to be expected. Could do with spare room card but maybe should of asked that as you need card to control lift and all access doors at all times so something to remember for next time.
Recommend and would stay again
Thank you
M.
Amazing personal, make us feel very comfortable ,rooms nice and clean, well done and see you soon .

Does what u need. Restaurant does not open till half six so if wanting to feed kids before a show had to look else where. Basic but clean
O. S.
Good location, fine rooms. The service was good (as usual with Premier Inn). Don't use the restaurant though; the food was (partly) inedible.

I found this place helpful, in that it was closer to the place I wanted to go than my house was. They let me sleep here which was kind, and they had a shower that they let me use for free. I gave them some money in return for their kindness, which I later understood to be a standard thing. If you call them, they might let you sleep here too in exchange for money.
R. G.
Simple, clean and great location. Rooms are good size for London, situated in quiet street 5 mins walk from Thames, close to London Bridge. Check in and out is easy and they have a location to store baggage.
J. B.
Efficient, very clean great towels and sheets. Shame about 4pm check in. They need to clean behind the bathroom door, but apart from that very good. Stayed before will stay again
L. K.
Huge rooms. Great price. Great check in and check out times. Friendly staff.
G. G.
The room was clean , tidy and more than what you get from a typical 3* hotel. Good price too for London
P. A.
Really fantastic location and receptionists are great, however could be better with answering phones as need to keep persistently calling to get through.

Great place, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was what you'd expect and the restaurant was very good too
C. R.
Fab little budget hotel.clean good staff comfy beds!

Lovely Hotel. Great location, clean, lovely staff, great breakfast. Highly recommend

Lovely location! Friendly and helpful staff. Clean facilities. Have stayed for past few years.

Simple room with basic necessities bedding could have been cleaner
M. B.
Slept perfectly. Quick check in. Great location.

Stayed here twice now, excellent location, literally across the road from the Tower of London. Close to Monument and Bank tube stations. You have to ask for housekeeping if you want your beds changing, clean towels or tea, coffee, milk as currently this isn't done routinely.
R. K.
Perfect hotel for our weekend in London. Unbeatable location in City of London - Monument & Bank Underground and DLR are around 5 minutes walk, if that. Short walk to the Thames, London Bridge, Tower of London, Walkie Talkie etc.
Check-in was very efficient and we received a warm welcome on arrival. In fact, the staff were always cheerful and happy to give us advice and answer any questions we had.
We had a room on the sixth floor, which had a fantastic view over the Monument and up to the Walkie Talkie. No noise complaints at all in the room. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't one of the new Premier Inn rooms, but nonetheless, it had everything we needed and was spotless. Bed was absolutely fantastic - super comfortable. Plenty of storage and plug sockets. Packet coffee and milk provided. Filled the provided kettle up in bathroom sink. Bathroom was great - powerful shower and there's a bath, too. Soap and shower gel provided. My only gripe was that tissue is supplied rather than toilet roll. Didn't use the TV in the room but it was a decent size and there's wall outlets to connect a PC to the display via HDMI or VGA.
I always felt really safe, as the lift requires you to scan your keycard before selecting a floor. Plus, after 11pm, you need your keycard to enter the hotel. The free luggage storage was greatly appreciated, as we checked out before 12pm but still wanted to explore that day. They can store your bags until 7pm. Hand sanitiser available throughout the hotel. Didn't dine at the restaurant but it looked good. Can't complain at all for £135 for two nights in such a perfect location. Thanks!
B. G.
Nice well situated, clean hotel. Had small problem with hot water tap that was quickly and efficiently resolved. Very good customer service, will use again.
מ. ע.
Good location. Nice staff and the room are larger than usual. However it requires some renovations; breakfast is crowded and it's understaffed.
M. J.
Room 5 stars, breakfast 1 star warm and run out of most hot food when I arrived and not good quality.
M. W.
You know what you are going to get with a Premier Inn, the left luggage service was very helpful, thanks
S. “.
Great Premier Inn, in a tip location. Highly recommended
P. M.
the hotel was in a great position, the staff worked flat out at breakfast but struggled, often no mugs for coffee or glass for juice, at one time no breakfast was available ie, full English, again staff worked extremely well but over whelmed.
S. M.
Checking in, was ok. But was not given two key cards and not told about the elevator system. Breakfast and dinner service was different every time. Simple items was missed. No spoon with tea. Butter for toast. Over cook burger buns.
V. D.
Landed up staying in a room for disabled access the place was fully booked. Stunning big room and very comfortable.
j. b.
Would have rated higher if room A/C actually worked.. love sleeping in a hot box..
E. B.
Brilliant location. Two seconds from the monument and tube. Annoying noise in the night. Sounds like a boiler sequeling
M. M.
Well situated for London and Tower bridge. Asked for bigger room, which was no problem but the vending machines where out of order. Overall a nice stay.
M. A.
Great location, clean rooms and good price
s. l.
6.30 am went to make a coffee, kettle shorts out the electric, no lights, no power. Down to reception, "oh sorry sir", came back to room, checked out kettle, said sorry again, changed kettle for a new one, result, all done within 10 minutes, excellent service at that time of the morning
J. E.
Wonderful location with great staff, bus stop and underground (Monument) very close by. Kept waiting for food/drinks/reception a few times. Quite clearly understaffed but everything else is top. Would recommend
T. S.
Great location 3 minute walk to London bridge and walk round Thames, good breakfast, staff welcoming and helpful in my opinion premier Inn are the best budget hotels good value location makes it easy to get to underground to move about the city easy to use.
P. J.
Good location, staff pleasant and very helpful. Nice breakfast. Yes I would stay here again.
J. P.
Lovely clean hotel, comfortable beds and helpful staff.. nothing to complain about everything was perfect for the price paid.
C. C.
What a lovely hotel...staff really lovely and so helpful...breakfast was nice and the bedrooms spotless and beds so comfortable
P. M.
No view , Brickwall , Breakfast £10.50 per adult kids free each!! But otherwise good location clean, helpful staff.
A. H.
Good location, quiet room, nice breakfast
C. B.
Lovely room w plenty of space
j. s.
Spare pillows smelt musty. My breakfast luke warm. Friendly staff though 🙂
J. W.
We've stayed here a few times now and absolutely love it.
It's the best possible location in Central London and the price is right, especially if you book early.
The buffet breakfast sets you up for the day, and again is good value too. Nice bar for a drink or three as well!
Considering how busy the hotel and it's surroundings are, it's really quiet and we always get a good sleep at night.
The place seems well-run and all of the staff are lovely without exception!
Look forward to next time..
D. S.
Fantastic staff, lovely room and dead comfy bed!! Defo reccomended
T.
Excellent stay here, would recommend a stay here, nice and near to monument on the circle and district line
K. B.
Clean, comfy bed, lovely breakfast
M. T.
The hotel was nice and clean and had a great night's sleep. Went down to breakfast ten minutes before the advertised close time. The buffet hadn't been refilled and bacon was missing, eggs were congealed and didn't look great! I'm sure if I had asked fresh bacon and eggs would have been made but I didn't ask as staff were concentrating on cleaning. What I did eat was nice though!
A.
Stayed for 4 nights. Front Office Staff very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean. Free water boiler, tea and coffee sticks but no mini bar. Bathroom with bathtub and shower.
One less star because the air condition were a bit cold and there were a dirty pillow. But overall i would stay again.
v. f.
Easy, convient, great location. The whole family liked our stay at this hotel. Very good value for money - especially if you pay the non-flex price. 5-10 min walk to Tower of London/Tower Bridge. Walk along the Thames to Westminster or just go by the tube. Monument is less than a 5 min walk.
M.
I don’t usually rate our hotels but I had to write this review. I don’t sleep much and so I was up at 4am in the hotel lobby. The morning staff were so friendly and despite being clearly busy getting set up for the day the staff member on the front desk took ten minutes out to bring me a coffee. Really impressed! If any managers see this you need to give your staff at this hotel an award for making guests feel very welcome 🙂
T. B.
No problems whatsoever, despite obvious staff shortages. Really helpful staff and a perfectly clean room.
W. H.
A wave of all things brilliant.
We arrived on the Friday 6 hours behind when we were supposed to check into the room, and the staff were friendly, understanding and very helpful and supportive.
We booked a family room which was a very good size, perfect for a family of 4. The room was air conditioned and overlooked a quiet office block. A good sized bathroom was also nice to see. Free WiFi was the cherry on the cake.
We set off to have a look around London around 10 on Saturday, and when we came back around 7, the room was immaculately clean and fresh. The staff were welcoming as ever.
On the second day, we had breakfast downstairs in the restaurant. The breakfast certainly lived up to the Premier Inn's usual high standards. All help yourself, and a great range of stuff to choose from. The continental breakfast was brilliant too. The room was brilliant when we returned too.
The Monday was the day of our departure. We allocated some time within the morning to see some last sights around the hotel, and asked if we could leave our bags until we collected them later. They were more than happy to do so, and when we came back, they were as we'd left them. They even offered to fill up our water and carbonate it, which was too kind to turn down. We left the hotel 110% satisfied.
The hotel is in a perfect location, being a 5 minute walk from monument and the monument tube station (which is on the District and Circle line, ideal for getting to places). It's also within a 10 minute walk of The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Bridge and The Inner City of London - which is pretty much dead quiet on a weekend, perfect for noise!
A brilliantly perfect example of a hotel that all others should aspire to be like. Thank you Premier Inn!
J. K.
Great location & the breakfast was extremely good, we’ve stayed at many hotels in London mostly 4 * and have only ever found one hotel better for breakfast and that was a brand new hotel.
But the staff at the hotel really made the difference, very friendly and attentive.
We will definitely look to book here again.
J. H.
The budget hotel that hands down beats the so called premium chains. Very comfy beds, good hot showers, TV, ironing facilities available, hair drier, soap/shower gel, air conditioning. Food in restaurant very good although recommendation that you book a table. 2 for 1 happy hour in bar. Staff work hard and are polite. Maybe need a few more hands busy times but overall - excellent
v. d.
I stayed here in August with a large group of family and friends (25 ppl) for my wedding across the road. The staff in the hotel couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, very clean and had everything I needed. The location is great and the cost was very reasonable. Breakfast was a bit chaotic as the buffet room is way too small for the amount of guests but that is my only gripe as the food itself was delicious.
J. T.
Great location easy walk to underground stations nice walk to Tower of London and Tower Bridge
D. H.
Rooms are nice enough and provided us with a comfortable 3 nights accommodation in a great location. What spoiled it for me was what sounded like a whale being strangled when other guests took a shower at random times of the night / morning. This was obviously a plumbing issue. This is why I've only given it 3 stars otherwise it would've been 4. Breakfasts were also good.
S. D.
Perfect location in The City, good value for money.
S. S.
Great location, friendly helpful staff, clean rooms and close to local attractions
t. k.
Nice clean room and big comfy bed. Kettle with tea and coffee, good TV and nice bathroom. No iron provided though. Room was quite, and a good temperature. Very convent location for an event at old Billingsgate. Breakfast a bit greasy and basic, but filling!
A. P.
Had power failure in our room when the kettle was put in. They couldn't reset it so we had to move rooms, but they gave us complementary breakfast for our hassle. Only one lift was working, and all vending machines were out of order. Not great but rooms were very clean.
K. H.
We stayed four nights in a family room with two kids 11 and 15. Room was big enough and very clean. Location near to the London Tower, walking distance. From there easy to explore London. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant great and excellent breakfast. In one word perfect. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again.
C. W.
Very well located hotel, within easy walking distance of Monument tube station. Friendly staff and reasonable restaurant offerings. A mistakes was made with our meal order one evening but this was handled quickly and professionally. Decent hot and cold breakfast, although as usual the price for this was a little steep. Good sized room for London with a comfy bed and very little noise from either inside or outside the hotel. Would stay again if needing to be nearby.
J. G.
I booked 2 single rooms for 4 adults to stay one night but both rooms had a double and a small single bed rather than 2 single beds. The double bed seemed much better than the single so was a bit disappointing for those who had the single. The rooms And bathrooms were great, nice size and clean. Situated in central London near Tower of London, Tower Bridge, etc. Rooms were very quiet, and comfortable temperature. It was mid June, so was busy but no street noise at all. Couldn't open the windows even if we wanted to, but was fine. Not a great view but interesting London buildings nonetheless. Check-in was all done on-screen and there was help available but very straight forward and there's an option to pre check-in online before arrival. We didn't stay for meals but everything was really good and would recommend as a good central London base :)
D. Y.
Everything we've come to expect of a Premier Inn. Booking was efficiently handled on arrival. The public areas and rooms clean and to a good standard (I can't say that of a number of similar priced and indeed more expensive hotels I've stayed at in London). The beds comfortable. The breakfast in the morning well worth the price, with an extensive choice of hot and cold food.
Located just a couple of minutes walk from the Monument tube station and under 15 minutes walk from Liverpool Street station, it was easy to get to. The Thames side footpath which we always like to walk was just a few minutes away as indeed was St Paul's.
It was useful too that we could leave our suitcases at the hotel after booking out on our last day.
So in summary I recommend this Inn as a good and fairly inexpensive place to stay when visiting London.
E. M.
Have stayed here several times for short breaks, most recently on 7th and 8th Sept 2019. In my opinion this Premier Inn is one of the best.. The reception service here is always good. There is normally someone on reception to greet you on arrival and guide you through the check in process. The location is great as you are near the Tower of London and Tower Bridge and many other big London attractions. The hotel is also very close the the Monument Tube Station making travelling about easy. The rooms are very clean and spacious and the air con works well . Some of the rooms have a good views of either the Monument or the Sky Garden. Spare tea, coffee and sugar are available in reception so you can help your self as and when. All in all, in my opinion, you get an excellent Premier Inn experience here and if you book well in advance the prices are reasonable.
S. O.
The hotel is in a prime location for exploring London, a short walk to tower bridge where you can either catch tubes around the city or visit borough market for tasty treats. The room itself was clean and quiet. The bed was proper comfy for a good night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great.
D. B.
Excellent service. Quick check-in. Very helpful
D.
Stayed here for just 1 night with work, great location near to Tower Bridge for a bit of sight seeing, excellent nights sleep, no traffic noise whatsoever. (Room 407) with a nice view of the walkie talkie building. Breakfast was usual, decent quality & choice. Room very clean & check-in / out process was really quick & easy.
S.
Staff were fantastic! 24 hour reception with incredibly warm and friendly receptionists. The breakfast was phenomenal, with a great range of continental and full english. Was spoilt for choice! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! To the hotel staff: thanks lads, you were absolute legends.
J. N.
We stayed here for a pre Christmas trip. It is a lovely hotel, good location and the beds were really comfortable. The room was extremely hot and air conditioning only went to 17 which went off at night and the windows don't open which effected our sleep. Also we ate at the restaurant. We booked for 5.15 as had theatre tickets and it took over an hour for a cold cheese board starter to come out. We then had to rush our mains and run to get to the theatre.
C. M.
This hotel is a tough one to evaluate, there are certainly several negatives but it is quite inexpensive for the location and they do pretty good on cleanliness and maintenance.
Pros:
Friendly staff
Clean rooms
Good location
Quiet, away from main streets
Free WiFi
Inexpensive
Adequate room size and bed comfort
Negatives:
No water bottles in room, complimentary or not.
Shower tub is really high, feels like a dangerously high step down to get out of shower
No iron/ironing board in room but they will provide one of your ask
Free WiFi is really slow, like 1mbps
Premim WiFi reasonable priced but only bumps you up to about 10mbps, it also requires constant revalidation which was very annoying.
Toilet paper in single sheets, never seen anything other than rolls so this was a bit of a novelty as a non European, not particularly soft either
No facial tissue in room
Elevators were slow at times
I would probably book elsewhere next time but I wouldn't go out of my way to avoid this hotel. Some of my complaints would be cheap fixes and make this hotel a solid value.
N. R.
Great room, very comfortable, quiet and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very busy so we had to wait for food at the buffet but the food was great when it came out. Would stay there again.
A. C.
First time in London since lockdown and I believe the staff did a great job in locking after us
P. D.
Clean and comfortable. Large room with a super shower.
A.
This one can be a little hard to find if you dont know where to look. Premier inn are good at building their hotels right into the scenery in cities. Just keep an eye out for the logo and you'll find it. They have friendly, helpful staff and the rooms are very nice.
K. L.
Exceptionally friendly welcome from staff who were the happiest and most genuine I have come across in any establishment for quite some time. Well done.
L. D.
This was exactly what I hoped it would be. Tucked back from the main road and nice and quiet. Went here when England were in the world cup and couldn't hear the pub just around the corner. Very comfy with good Aircon. Only problem for me is that... Despite it's location... It is very over priced for what you get. Comparable at times in price to a 4 star hotel.
K. P.
I recently stayed here on an over night business trip. The hotel is easy to get to located a couple of minutes away from the Monumnet.
Checkin was quick and easy, the hotel room was nice and clean and the bed nice and comfy although i wasnt a particuarly big fan of the pillows the reason being that a single pillow was too thin and felt uncomfortable buttwo pillows were too dense leaving you haid raised too high.
I didnt eat at the hotel on this occasion although I have done in the past and the food is quite good here. Would definately reccomend.
A. W.
Nice premier inn with very accommodating staff and a great location for visitors to the Tower of London, hms Belfast and stays in the city of London.
M. N.
Great front desk staff. The hotel in general is really clean. Wi-Fi was not great. We upgraded to the premium Wi-Fi at £5 a day but even then it was not the best. No laundry service. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner but not for lunch. Rooms have a kettle and coffee and tea is provided. Many restaurants and businesses close by. No teleohones in the room.
L. L.
Excellent stay .Staff very friendly Recommend it for a stay in London .
F. B.
Clean safe and comfortable, very convenient location for the tower of London and London bridge, close to Monument tube station but quite a distance from the shopping and entertainment areas. We had the family room which was comfortable and quiet. breakfast selection was great and freshly cooked without being overcooked.
W. G.
Extremely well presented Premier Inn within striking distance of London's major attractions. Free parking up on the main road after 12pm on a Saturday - we couldn't believe our luck travelling from Devon and being able to park nearly outside for free on a weekday. Excellent rooms and first class breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff too.
M. T.
Nice hotel, good location however stay was ruined by noisy pipes from the room above. Reception were aware so I'm stumped as to why they allowed the room to be booked considering the 'Good Night Sleep' guarantee (which was not offered). Staff did what they could with what they had but couldn't help unfortunately.
D. W.
Fantastic location. Very clean. We had a family room (2 adults and two children). The room was very spacious and perfect for our needs. Great breakfast as well. Couldn't recommend enough
D. M.
Good clean hotel with a nice family friendly resturant (dinner & breakfast). My only complaint was the plumbing was very noisy. I was woken up by a screeching sound when the next room ran their taps.
B. C.
Premier Inn at The Monument great stay, impecable room, pleasant staff, good breakfast( children eat free). Good value at 2.90 pounds for three nights, family room for 4. very central , close to The Tower and London Bridge..we will definitely use this hotel again....
D. T.
Amazing service from reception to restaurant. Always staff available and ready and happy to help. Breakfast is outstanding and always full to the brim. Enough space for family to sit, relax and enjoy the food and environment.
R. H.
Bit tired place. Could do with a good refresh and an upgrade of room facilities.
S. T.
Friendly reception staff at this Premier Inn which is very handy for tourists visiting all the fine history which the City of London has to offer. Nearby Monument and close to St Paul's Cathedral and also the myriad of "lanes" which formed the old city. Rooms are fine and the air conditioning works. Good breakfast.
A. P.
Nestled in a quiet and unassuming street within the heart of the business district with the Shard in the background. A 3 minute walk from the tube. Surrounded by convenience stores, restaurants and cafés. St Paul's cathedral is nearby.
Some efforts could go towards changing a couple of pieces of furniture at the reception desk area.
Basic comfort in the rooms. Stunning views. Would definitely recommend.
C. N.
Lovely hotel with a view of the shard, prime location especially for the price! Signal is terrible in the hotel and WiFi isn't the best, air con didn't work making my melt in bed without a window to be open... Be careful of the ketchup as we nearly knocked out a small child from across the room with a bottle of ketchup opening - Apologies but thanks for cleaning this up.
S. R.
Clean room, polite and helpful staff. They have a luggage room so you can explore London freely before your check in. Breakfast is your standard Premier Inn. All round, you can never go wrong with these guys!
M. C.
Slept like a log beds were comfy rooms were clean Staff were really friendly and child friendly too! and helpful great location for various tubes :) would stay here again excellent job
M. M.
The people. It's a great team! Ian at reception is a great at front office, chef at thyme I didn't meet the food is lovely and the ladies great service. And the bed and pillow is very comfortable. Please have phones in the rooms, for international travellers, a phone in the room is important to receive calls from home.
s. b.
Excellent location, stones throw from tower bridge, nice bar downstairs, friendly staff, 5*
a. g.
Comfy, clean family room in great location and good value 😊
D. C.
I had breakfast here. The hotel is quiet and far less busy than most central London places. The breakfast was perfect, hot, fresh and replenished regularly. The staff were polite and efficient.
K. S.
Great location! Nice and clean, comfy and well soundproofed rooms. It would be perfect if you could not only cool but also heat it up to your needs... And the safe in rooms would be handy!
L. B.
Best staff of all the premier inns we have stayed. Polite nothing too much trouble and they make you very welcome. We would recommend this hotel. A great thank you to every staff member.
R.
This Premier Inn offers a no frills stay in the Tower Hill area of London for an affordable price. There are some good things about this inn and a few things that might you should at least come to with your eyes open. On the plus side, the inn is centrally located in the Tower section of London only a short walk from the Tower of London, London and Tower Bridges, and the Monument to the Great Fire. It is also a very short walk from the monument underground station. Your stay includes free wifi and a free breakfast, which while not the fanciest, is surprisingly good. The rooms tend toward the small for a family of four. Here's where the budget aspect of the Premier Inn becomes evident-- mostly in the designs of the bathrooms. Bathrooms could be a problem for some guests, particularly older guests. The bath tubs are high and require a bit of effort to get in or out of. Handles are oddly placed and with wet floors, a simple shower becomes a bit scary even for younger guests. Beware. Also, bathrooms don't have any electric sockets, so if you wanted to use an electric shaver, hairdryer, or anything else, that becomes a lot harder. Also no ironing board. Finally, toilet paper from the hotel is more like box tissue paper as opposed to a roll of toilet paper so that we had to actually by our own. These bathroom concerns might sound trivial but after a week's stay, they become a factor in my consideration of whether I'd come back.
G. T.
Fantastic location. Was my friends 40th birthday and they decorated the room with balloons and animal towels and left her flowers and chocolate. It really made our weekend. Olga on reception was exceptional.
L. C.
Good location, near quite a few major attractions. Our room was really good, very clean and large. Staff were really friendly and efficient and efficient. Would stay here again.
R. A.
Fantastic location, (you get an uninterrupted view of the shard from the entrance) clean rooms and friendly staff, paid for a double bed and was given that and 2 twin beds so I had somewhere to sleep in case me and the misses fell out haha. View from the room wasn't great and the Wi-Fi was down but overall a very nice stay and a good price.
K. V.
Stay here every time we go to London, which is about 4 or 5 times a year. Love it. Clean rooms. Staff lovely. What else do you need.
J. T.
Standard you'd expect from Premier Inn, quiet room despite being in the centre of London. Staff were helpful when I had a problem with original room and was very quickly offered another room.
A. L.
The staff were brilliant, so helpful and friendly. The rooms are pretty standard for Premier Inns that's not to say they dissapointed. I love staying at premier inn. You get what you pay for.
C. T.
In the heart of the business quarter near to all the big banks. This hotel is up a tiny side street its clean and comfortable and breakfast was a feast. The hotel isn't far from some of Londons best landmarks The Tower of London London Bridge to name a few.

We booked 2 family rooms and were given them next to each other on the top floor. Lovely views of London. Hotel very clean and comfortable, breakfast excellent value for money. Lovely staff.
M. H.
Standard Premier Inn chain hotel. Only one bath towel supplied and would now expect the provision of an iron and ironing board.
Breakfast was enjoyable and in a convenient location for my stay and meeting in the morning for business purposes.
T. L.
Friendly service, nice clean rooms. Great location. Can't fault it. We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant so can't comment on it.
D. P.
Superb location and all staff are wonderful and really cannot do enough for you. Breakfast was great and an evening meal didn't disappoint either. Believe the reviews this is one of the best places to stay in London.
E. C.
The room we stayed in had no phone, no room service, no mini fridge to store beverages for my son. Im not sure if that's how all rooms are. On the plus side, the staff was great. Easy access to the tube. Close to Tower Bridge.
V. S.
Nice hotel with very clean, comfortable rooms. Staff was very accomadating and allowed me to check in early after a very long international flight. Also enjoyed the meal I had in the restaurant that was on premise.
K. B.
Favourite of the basic chains, clean and comfortable beds. In this case I was travelling with a person with special needs and the staff were superb, going above and beyond to make him feel welcome. Very pleasant visit
F. M.
This is a perfect location for visiting and exploring London. We stayed here as a family of 4 and it was perfect. Great room, really friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast. Highly recommended to other families
G. J.
A great venue for both the city business area and the sightseeing area of Tower of London and St. Katherine's Dock. Clean, basic and efficiently run. No frills. Great breakfast though!
J. S.
Nice and comfortable. Rooms are a little sparsely appointed, but breakfast is great and the reception staff are super friendly and helpful.
A. F.
We booked this one as all the others were full, but actually it was well placed. Comfy beds and a good breakfast, just what you need. Parking at the weekend in the nearby tower carpark was affordable and convenient. London traffic as ever a nightmare!
M. G.
We love this hotel. Location is perfect, 2 minutes walk from Monument tube station and 5 minutes to Tower of London. Also nice quiet area on a weekend, but lots to see and do in the area.
c. u.
The location is quiet but central felt v safe easy commute to sights
Lovely walk by river to tower of London also sky garden and lovely breakfast at the coppa cafe but book the igloo!
C. B.
Perfect place for a base to stay in London. We have stayed here 3 times in the past now. For location and value for money, I couldn't rate this place any higher
S. J.
Great location for the city of London. A stone's throw from the monument, 10 min walk to the tower of London and St. Paul's (in different directions). Rooms clean and premiers usual standard. Bar service ok.
A. M.
Very nice hotel. All you need in the room and one of the most comfortable bed i have ever found in a hotel. Good breakfast.
A.
The place is very crntrally llcated. Very close to The Monument to The Geeat Fire of London. The closet tube station is Monument on the District Line. The staff is nice amd respectful. The also have an in house restaurant where they serve meals. I got dinner which was decent. However, the meals won't be provided if you're not a guest. Also nore that it's price is not included in your reservation. Overall a good place.
T. A.
Hidden location, very peaceful and quiet despite being right in the city of London. Very close to bank station, also walking distance from monument. Easily accessible from Liverpool street, Fenchurch street and London bridge. Better to book in advance to get good deals.
J. A.
Good hotel, would stay there again. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially the breakfast greeters and reception staff who have sooooo much patience. Well done.
L. d. R.
Decent hotel in a great location. Friendly staff and good food. Biggest lack is amenities; room did not come with a washcloth, pen, or facial tissue.
A. L.
Had a nice overnight stay on a business trip. Room very clean. Comfy bed. I had the meal deal which includes 2 course meal and a drink and all you can eat breakfast for £25. Great value when the 2 courses and pint bought normally would have been £25. Lager at the time was San Miguel and carling and was about £4.25 for the San Miguel. Can't complain considering central London. I saw a Ben and Jerrys vending machine, drinks machine and another selling toothpaste and deodorants etc but didn't use so not sure on the prices. Short walk from fenchurch and bank tube station. Not got a single complaint. Would stay again if the need to be near that part of London comes up again.
C. E. G.
Too cold for my taste. Asked to make the room warmer and I don't think there was a difference of more than 1 degree. Otherwise the breakfast was good and the room nice.
G. (.
Clean, great staff and great location.
F. C. (.
Decent hotel. The Manager Dean is always ready to assist and come up with solution. it's these employees that makes our short stay a delightful experience.
