It’s always such a pleasant experience for what can be daunting blood donation. All the staff are really nice and friendly and let’s be honest; everyone enjoys all the snacks at the end. It’s very rewarding and the nurses are always informative and helpful!

Since I recovered from Covid I've been asked by the NHS to help other covid patients to recover donating my convalescent plasma / antibodies. I'm so greattfull to have a high levels of antibodies enought to help other patients. So far I did 10 donations and I'm planning to keep donating as much as I can. The process is very simple, easy, painless. First there are just a simple questionnaire and quick assessment with blood pressure and iron levels before the donation starts. The staff are very kind, funny, friendly, careful, efficient, attentive looking after you offering hot drinks, squash, biscuits, crisps and cakes. Also, the space is very clean and lots of room. Help others donating blood, plasma or platelets. 😊

First time donating blood after years, this centre full of amazing nurses who have made my experience very pleasant. I became nauseous, light headed and feeling warm as I finished and recovering whilst having some snacks and drinks. The nurses very attentive and have observed that I was not well, they immediately ask me to sit on a declined chair, gave me cold water and keep me under close observation ensuring I feel completely fine to go home. When asked to use the toilet, the nurse would ask me to leave the door unlock and she will be right outside just in case I fainted. I feel very assured and welcomed in this centre with all the amazing team there 🥰 I will definitely come back here again for my next donation 💖

I've had the good fortune to donate blood here twice, and would happily donate every couple of months if I could only get an appointment! All the staff, nurses, sisters, matrons etc are friendly, welcoming and will put the most nervous person at ease. They are happy to answer any questions or concerns. Quick, easy and so gratifying.

It was my first time giving blood this afternoon and I have to say, it was so easy! All the staff were really friendly and made me feel comfortable before, during and after my donation. Free parking for donors was a nice bonus. Will definitely be visiting this centre again for all my donation needs.

Great place to give blood & help the NHS. Run by a fantastic team of nurses and donor carers who are all v friendly and put everyone at ease. Appointments available in the evenings and at weekends. Free parking and a 493 bus stop onsite. Tooting Broadway Underground Station is 10 mins walk away.

A great way to give blood if your excuse is that you work full time, or that you're busy! We go on a Saturday morning at 9. There's free parking for donors and we are out within an hour of our appointment time. The nurses are lovely (although I have never found a donor nurse who isn't) and the environment is welcoming and friendly. My other half was tested here to see if he could give platelets and everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful about it. Giving blood is so important and if you don't have a medical reason not to, you really should!

First time blood donation from me and all in, a very pleasant experience. I don't like needles personally but I manned up and did something pretty cool... I gave blood 😁. Staff all very friendly and attentive, and showed care and gentleness👊😁👊. I also had some snacks and drink provided by the centre, both before and after 👍. 2021, My vein is deep and blood slow to come in. After nurse did not take any more blood. There all staff very kindly. 2018, Winter time, I try for donor blood & Staff said 'my vein deep and not allowed for blood donation' Waste my time.

Absolutely amazing staff here so lovely words cant describe how lovely they are!!! I had my first donation today and i explained that this was in memory of my dad and they was just so amazing. So friendly and chatty and you just feel apart of their little clinic. I fainted after giving blood and their response was just above and beyond. Such lovely amazing nurses here i hope more people give blood.

Amazing team and such amazing service. I would like to personally say a special thank you to the nurse Sally who works in this department, such a lovey lady, someone who makes people feel comfortable and brings light to the cause. Thank you Sally “I will continue saving lives” 😉

I've donated blood at this centre. The experience was completely stress free and the nurses were very friendly and polite. I turned up a bit late for my appointment and still didn't have to wait because the centre is quite large and housed a number of donation stations. Very organised and efficient.

Very polite and friendly staff. If donating platelets it can be difficult to get onto the books for a donation time, so book up early and for many sessions ahead.
