I used the Young Women's trust 'Work It Out' scheme earlier this month and honestly could not believe how amazing the service was! They offered incredible assistance with my CV as they went through each section offering guidance on how to improve it. They also offer you a Work It Out work coach, who has also been incredibly helpful and very easy to talk to! So I would definitely recommend signing up to this service, especially during a time like now when genuine support can be so rare.

A good friend recommended the Young Women's Trust and their Work It Out service to me. I was matched with a wonderful coach who has been a calming voice during recent difficult times. I have been dealing with stress and uncertainty whilst interviewing during the pandemic, it's honestly been great to speak with someone removed from my own life about some of the problems I am facing. My coach also recommended the CV and Cover Letter service, the team were a great help in fine-tuning my documents. Both services have helped me build some confidence back and been a reassuring tool. Young Women's Trust is a fantastic organisation that helps support women to feel empowered. If you are aged 16-30 and feeling a little stuck or in need of support to help make your next steps, I would certainly recommend Young Women's Trust!

The Work It Out service was a real life line at a time when i felt very unsettled and uncertain about life. I came across Young Women’s Trust back in 2017/2018 through the Prince’s Trust. So I knew about them but didn’t take the full support they offered. After loosing my job due to COVID, I knew I need to revamp my CV so I can stand out in an even more competitive job market. Young Women’s Trust is such an amazing charity for young women aged 18 to 30 and I couldn’t recommend the service and support they provide enough! I came across an advert on social media and thought I would give it a go due to unemployment during the pandemic. Right from the beginning, everyone was so helpful and the service I received was second to none. I applied for both the CV help and the career coaching - it was simple to sign up and I was contacted so quickly to get the ball rolling. The 6 coaching sessions, with the amazing Carole, were invaluable in helping me through such an awful time in my career due to COVID-19. It helped to direct me in my career and also helped to build my confidence and self-esteem at a time when I was really struggling. I still can’t believe this is a free service and I can’t thank them enough. I will continue to spread the word about the amazing work Young Womens Trust do! Thank you!

I signed up to their 'Work It Out' service a few months ago, when I started to feel lost and overwhelmed by the prospect of having to start a whole new career from scratch due to Covid, and I needed direction. I got matched up with a great woman, who just listened, she gave me advice, but I loved the approach of just letting me get off my chest my worries and concerns, and voicing the best action plan for me. She set me little goals, and gave me feedback on how I came across, my strengths, and where my work experience so far could be used. I felt as though YWT just gave me the skills to save myself, and gave me confidence again. This is a great service, and really shows the value of having the support and guidance of other women, who just get it.

I was in a rut and didn't know how to get out of it! When I saw an advert for careers coaching and job application help through The Young Women's Trust that was free I jumped at the chance! Previously I had paid a few hundreds of pounds to other professional services that had got me nowhere. After speaking with Yasmin, she gave me the confidence to apply to roles I wouldn't have done in the past. The opportunity to talk to someone who could look through my job history and point out strengths I didn't even realise I had helped me overcome my tentativeness to apply. The added bonus of having feedback on my CV and cover letter before applying was a double whammy. Again, this is all FREE!
