Best bank in Swindon. Staff is always welcoming ,friendly,helpful and always acknowledge you . Beautiful atmosphere and has a toliet for customers which is a bonus .

Went into Swindon branch to open a Community Account. Unfortunately I didn't have photo ID and they were the only bank who would accept an alternative. Ilya was extremely professional and friendly. I was in their an hour, was offered tea or coffee (no other bank does this) and the account was set up once my colleague had gone in to give them his details. Will recommend them to anyone.

Have only ever had one mishap which was quickly sorted. Long opening hours, helpful staff and quick turn around times. Cards and cheque books issued in branch amazing. No need to call contact centre for it to be posted in 3-5 working days like most banks.

Great bank!!! A 5 Star from me. The staff at the Swindon Town Center were so kind, fast and kept their promise to open the account quickly as soon as I provided the requirements. There was friendly Nikki, soft-spoken Dan, and then the gentle man who walks up to you and asks you how they may serve you, gives you a spot to wait and respect Covid lockdown procedures, and immediately makes sure that someone comes to attend to you. Nikki was so patient, listened to me, gave me good advice on stuff, was all smiles and laughed at the right time, no faking it. Dan, the fair guy who sits with his back to the street sort of, lol (or is it Dave?) speaks in a most assuring way. Great experience, really.

Absolutely loved the friendly and helpful staff and the service. I thought that opening an account and getting your card would take at least a week. But this bank proved me wrong. I came in, said I wanted a cash account and just handed a passport and within 1 hour I had my own activated card and online banking details plus a safe. I even got a prize for guessing the amount of coins I was putting into my account for free.n I also loved the contemporary layout and environment especially how it is very pet friendly. Very good friendly service. I popped into branch to upgrade my account and was looked after very well by a gentleman called Tom who was the one who was very helpful when I first opened my account. Tom has a very good memory and nothing was too much as he reset my security for me ..got my new card and had a general chit chat with me. Thanks Dean

Opened a new account in the office and all set in one hour. You feel comfortable, everything is made easy, very friendly staff. Even my iPhone app was set up here with any hassle. So happy with them that I opened another account at home and came back to collect my debit card within minutes. Well done!

Love this bank, so easy to set up an account and the staff are so friendly, really wish they came to Swindon sooner and I would of changed over along time ago. The app on your phone makes things so much easier and is all set up in the bank rather than trying to work out how to use it on your own at home, have managed to get a few of my friends to change over, just wish they could do a left handed cheque book like my old bank did,makes it so much easier for me to write out cheques without smearing it when writing. Thanks again though metro for making my switch over so easy 😁😁

It took over one and half hours to open an account because I had to go back after I went in to open an account, and there web site states your card is printed on the same day, But I was told it will be sent after five days and the pin some time after that. and they do not what you to have a current account only a cash account, If you don't have a Passport or a photo driving licence, and I had the other forms of ID, that they state and you need to have a credit check done anyway, If you want a Cheque book or to set up a direct debit. But I will tell people "I don't like" to open an account there. Why should I be the only one lied to.

Full 5 stars to the superb, shiny interiors. Looks like a Casino ! 😉 And plus 1 extra star for whole week of branch open and 12 hours (0800-2000) operation timings on weekdays. This puts even Tesco to shame, in matter of timings 😜 Other features yet to be explored ☺

Good knowledgeable staff, it’s easy to do transactions and not to forget if you have any spare pennies- you can use their free coin counting machine , either deposit in their account or take the money collected
