If you really want a fabulous experience and the best ever cut and colour then Sanctum is the place to go. I fell upon the salon by accident and since then friends and family have had their hair cut and coloured and all are now regular, delighted clients. So much so, my friend Suzy who lives in Southampton, now plans her visits to me around her hair appointments with Jordan! I would definately recommend Jordan, go on, treat yourself!

I have been going to Jordan for around 1 year now and I can honestly say he is the best hairdresser I've ever had. I have never found a hairdresser who I have stayed with for more than 3 visits as I'm so fussy and my scalp and hair is sensitive and fragile. Jordan is genuinely the most talented hairdresser I've met. His knowledge is second to none and his attention to detail and precision is what I love. Going to the hairdresser has never been a good experience for me and as much as you are meant to relax, I always felt anxious before hand and on edge whilst in the chair, but with Jordan I just let him do his thing because I trust him 100%. So for anyone like me who doesn't enjoy the experience of going to the hairdresser, I promise it will change if you visit Jordan!

Jordan and his Team are great always friendly and welcoming. I've been going to see Jordan for nearly a year and each time I visit I'm never left disappointed - this time I went bolder with my colour and my hair styled in an asymmetric bob. Can not recommend Jordan and his team at Sanctum any higher. Five star service start to finish with a terrific atmosphere which leaves you completely at ease. Best colour I’ve ever had - Jordan is the king of colour. I still can’t believe the transformation from my first visit, I had dull lifeless hair with multiple colours which were all pretty dark and Jordan lifted it to the most beautiful silver colour in one go.. I thought it would take a bit of perseverance and a few visits but I was proven wrong! If you do anything this year, book an appointment and see for yourself, you’ll be booking to go back for more!

First visit back to the salon after lockdown, so my hair was a riot of greys! As always, Jordan worked miracles and I left with a fabulous new cut and colour, which had me bouncing around like a girl from a shampoo advert! I'm still quite nervous about visiting places following the lockdown but felt completely safe and comfortable in the salon. I travel from Edinburgh regularly to have Jordan do my bleach regrowth/toner after having visited another Aveda salon in London for years. He's the king of colour, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair now. All the other girls are lovely - I can recommend a massage with Satnam too. Lovely relaxing space too.

There is so much to say about this little gem of a boutique style hair and beauty lounge. I found the atmosphere and the general feel most welcoming, felt completely at ease throughout. The service is second to none, please go online visit the site and then select the booking icon at the lower right of your screen. From there you can check availability and all the services offered. You can check real time availability for the same day, where there is availability obviously. It is tucked up in MacArthur glen shopping centre, not your likely spot for a quick haircut or treatment. However Sanctum made it more than likely. it was perfect to find a place welcoming customers rather than turning them away. The director is on the floor mentoring and coaching new aspiring creative talent. It was refreshing to find Jordon’s expertise on the floor. This is what made it for me, that face driving the business and ensuring everyone can progress and grow in confidence. He teaches with openness and engages with his mentees in a reassuring and encouraging manner. If you have the opportunity to book and attend even if you were only going shopping, walking out into the shopping centre my hair just fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone. Don’t miss this chance to have a great hair cut, lux head and neck massage all part of the package. All of that in a relaxing, luxurious but friendly space. Everyone I came into contact with was welcoming and really helpful in all aspects. Sanctum also stock Aveda skin and hair products including men’s grooming products. So even if you cannot stay for a treatment or a cut and blow dry, you can always get a feel for this amazing place, soak it up, pickup a few products while you think what treatment you’d like to try first. Great customer service, attention to detail- place is immaculate, and it’s all geared toward the overall experience which left me just adoring Sanctum. I will be returning soon. Plenty parking (£1) in surrounding car parks and straightforward to find. Try it.
