Got my hair done yesterday with Jess. My hair was in a pretty bad way after not getting done for 9 months but she tirelessly spent 5 hours! Packing my head full of foils to get the most lovely ash blonde balayage. I absolutely love it (awful photos do not do it justice)

Absolutely love this salon! By far the best hairdressers I have every been too. Had my hair both coloured and cut here and its the only salon i would trust now. So clean and professional and the staff are so lovely. Highly recommend.

A lovely salon with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I have been going ever since the salon moved to the arcade and now I would never dream of going anywhere else. I often get my hair highlighted by any of the girls who are available and then have it cut by Roger. The girls are brilliant, and they listen very carefully about what I’m aiming to achieve with my highlights. As I have very long and thick hair they sometimes book me with extra time, and this makes me feel good as I never feel like my hair is being rushed. Although it is a family run business, they are very professional and technical with what they can achieve, and I can trust them completely. I could never go to another salon now. Thank you so much!

I suffer with anxiety so going to the hairdressers can be a bit stressful for me .But Macmillan and the wonderful staff made me feel so welcome and relaxed such a lovely friendly atmosphere also my cut and colour look amazing. I highly recommend Macmillan and can’t wait for my next appointment

I've heard really good things about this salon. Danielle knows what she's doing when it comes to getting the right style and acheiving exactly what the client wants, showcasing her work and helping the client to feel confident in not just the service but also their look. A lot of my friends have had their hair styled by her and all have been back multiple times due to being happy with the very high standard! They come highly recommended by all I know who have had their hair styled on the premises and seem a very tight knit team, making for a pleasant atmosphere and experience. :)

Been using MacMillan hairdressing for 6 years. Consistently excellent! Great advice on hair styling and colouring. I usually have Roger and occasionally Cheryl do my hair. Both are so friendly and professional. I always leave happy. The coffee is great and the new premises looks fresh and clean. The fresh flowers on the counter are always a nice touch too.

Cut was nice however the lighting played havoc with my eyes as it was flickering. Staff friendly. I had to fasten up my own robe and I'm covered in hair after noticing it wasn't closing properly. Overall happy with the hair cut.
