I am over the moon with the results of my colour and cut. I’ve had so many issues with finding a colourist who can do balayage how I like, and not making my Hair look brassy and block heavy in colour. Maria listened to all my concerns/ my desired look and she did exactly what I asked for.

What a great experience, from the entrance and to leaving. Everybody is really helpful and know what they are doing. These girls are the absolute best at what they do, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been with my hair, they listen, advise and the result is always better than what I could have imagined - I’ll never go anywhere else and recommend to anyone & everyone that is in need of a new hairdresser! The salon is always spotlessly clean, it’s decorated beautifully and my fave thing - you get a tray of snacks when you have tea/coffee (perfect when you’re sat in the chair for 4+ hours) you can tell Maria takes so much pride in her salon. - Amber the receptionist is also so lovely and attentive, only adding to your experience at Maria Grazia! 💖

Not only did they squeeze me in right there an then, they also managed to fix my hair and make me leave beyond satisfied! I’ve always walked out of salons feeling underwhelmed with my hair. I wanted the WOW factor, and was willing to spend lots of money, and the top rated salons out and around Bedford, to get amazing results, but mine always seemed to look average :( Although I liked my hair each time, I didn’t LOVE it. I can honestly say after attending Maria Grazia’s salon I am in love with my hair for the first time!! The WOW factor doesn’t start and stop with your hair there. They care about their clients, and offer an experience full of luxury, fine detail and perfection. Top customer service, massage chairs, drinks, cakes, very friendly staff and complete professionalism. I always look forward to the massage you get when your hairs washed but of course, they do this to a much higher standard as well. I myself have my own business and now make sure I implement the same quality of customer service to my clients that they do. Maria’s experience and knowledge in hair is exceptional. This is a lady that really knows what she’s doing. The level of care and technique that goes into her clients hair is unbelievable. From booking with them to seeing my hair at the end I was completely impressed throughout. Seriously ladies well done. BEST SALON EVER. I don’t see how you could top this place. I LOVE Maria Grazia Salon! Alice is the most professional, talented, creative and friendly hairstylist I’ve ever met! I never know how to describe what I want my hair to look like, but Alice always manages to make my imagination come to life (and make it look better!!). From the moment you walk in to this salon, your made to feel so comfortable and welcome. It has beautiful and relaxing vibe. I moved from London and was struggling to find a stylist who understood my short hair style but as soon as I sat in Athina’s chair, I knew I was in great hands. I love getting my hair done by Alice at Maria Grazia’s salon. I have been twice there now and both times was happy with the colour. I do understand it prices not the lowest, but I rather pay a little extra and get the colour I like and no damage to my hair.

I absolutely LOVE Maria Grazia Salon. Every time I’ve been there, I’ve been made to feel like a valued customer and am always treated to a delicious latte with biscuits and nibbles. All of the ladies in the salon are super friendly and professional. The gorgeous and super talented Athina does my hair and I totally trust her with it. She knows exactly what I want and always makes me feel like I’ve been listened to and get the look I’m after when I leave!! I am so happy I’ve found a hairdresser that I totally trust!! Plus she’s a wizz with colour!!! Love! Love! Love!

I honestly can’t recommend this salon enough. I’ve never received such a great service in a salon before. The online booking system is easy to use and the staff check the bookings and will call you if there are any questions about your appointment to make sure your expectations are met on the day. The staff are so friendly, from the minute you enter the door, the staff know who you are and call you by name throughout your appointment, check on you and offer tea/coffee/cold drinks throughout. Every time I get my hair coloured I get so many complements, the technique is so good I can leave months between appointments and it still looks fab. Athina is always so understanding of my asks and although I often ask for a change and something ‘different’, she never judges and is always realistic. Maria is always on hand to offer her experienced opinion if needs be. All the staff are so knowledgeable and passionate about their work, you can trust your hair is in good hands. I won’t be using anywhere else! Thanks Maria, Athina, and team :)

After reading the excellent reviews online about this salon, I rang on a Monday lunchtime on the off chance they could fit me in for a cut and blow dry the following day as I was going away. However, they told me that they were closed on Tuesdays but if I could get there for 2-30pm on the Monday, Athina would squeeze me in. I was so impressed by how helpful they were over the telephone and had a good feeling even before I set foot in the salon. Once I arrived I was not disappointed. The salon has a lovely feel to it , bright and lots of privacy. I was taken to my chair and offered a drink and nibbles ( my coffee was really good ) Then Athina came through and I showed her a picture of how I'd like my hair cut. I spend a lot of the year away in Spain, so was aware my hair wasnt in the best condition. However,Athina didn't criticise me as other salons have and instead suggested a treatment and showed me in the mirror how the shorter style I'd picked would work for me. I was then taken to have my hair washed. What a Monday afternoon treat...a big comfy massage chair ! No bad neck afterwards and one of the most comfortable hair washes I've ever had. Athina then started to cut while all the time explaining what she was doing. She took less off saying I could decide if I wanted shorter rather than just cutting too short straightaway . I asked her about colouring next time I visit Bedford and she said I might as well have my patch test done while there. Which I did. I was absolutely thrilled with my style, really super condition hair and I am looking forward to going back for my colour next time I visit. The whole experience from start to finish was just excellent. I was made to feel special and listened to despite it being my first visit. Because of the way the staff treated me and the fact they squeezed me in, I will certainly recommend Maria Grazia salon to my friends, and they have now gained a loyal customer in me. Thankyou so much Athina, my new style is even behaving in the humidity in Ibiza ! It made such a pleasant change to receive such good customer service . I highly recommend this beautiful salon.

Absolutely love going to get my done here by Athena, whether it’s for a trim or a colour, cut and blow dry. I’ve always struggled finding a salon and stylist that gives you exactly what you want and you leave feeling great. Athena is very professional and definitely knows what she’s doing. The salon is lovely and very welcoming. I’m a huge fan of Their wash basins, which have back massagers in them you never leave with a sore neck from trying to not get soaked and having to sit uncomfortably. The salon is quite pricey but you definitely get your money’s worth, I’d much rather pay a little more for a great service like this and leaving there happy than paying less and pretending I love my hair when I leave. Great team and great salon.

This salon is such a lovely environment! The girl that did my hair was super friendly and did a brillant job of my hair. I was getting an updo done for my dad's wedding and couldn't of been happier with the style she give me. They also provided me with a cup of tea and a selection of different biscuits as well! After much research...I visited this salon for the first time today. I had colour, cut and blow-dry. My long hair had lost condition, was uneven in colour and needed bringing back to life. First, the salon is smart and welcoming (no insanely loud music or hair filled brushes lying around). The staff are warm and friendly and the place is spotless. The overall impression is one of professionalism. This, I am very pleased to report, translates into the treatment and results they provide. I had a consultation with Athina who took great care to establish what I wanted. It is obvious that she really cares about the happiness of her clients and goes to great lengths to check that she understands what matters to you. I wanted my hair to be dark and light, slightly caramel but not brassy, lightened a bit but not damaged and all looking totally natural - basically perfect (think Olivia Palermo). I’m also very impatient, nervous of chemicals want my hair shaped but without losing any length. And I loathe going to hairdressers! Not at all a demanding customer... Now I have perfect hair :) Thank you Athina (and your assistant whose name I didn’t get, but who was just lovely). It is the best cut and colour I have ever had! My hair is glossy and a beautiful colour. There is no staining around the hairline and the blow dry was perfect, again natural looking, not stiff and formal which I find is the norm in most places. I have had good experiences in London at Aveda, Selfridges and somewhere fancy in Covent Garden, but this has to be the best. I also really enjoyed the experience which is a massive bonus and no one tried to push a load of products at me afterwards, although they have plenty available. I can not recommend this Salon enough. ‘Hair is everything!’

Firstly let me say I am fussy! 6 years I've been in Bedford and never been satisfied with anyone to entrust them with my hair until now. Athina done an amazing balyage for me, knew what I wanted before I totally knew. The service was outstanding and super friendly from start to finish! She takes pride in her work and service and is a huge huge credit to this amazing salon! I recommend Athina & this super friendly salon to all! Absolutely great Salon, very professional approach yet at the same time relaxed, a drink always on arrival and a really good non rushed hair wash, conditioner and product, head massage too, then a cut from Maria with another drink offered with biscuits and snacks if you want. All of this for 15 pounds. Also the interior is lovely, in my opinion easily best salon in Bedford.

This time I went to see the lovely athena for a balayage (J Lo was my inspo) and I could not of been more happy with my hair colour! I have been visiting Maria Grazia Salon for quite some time now and each time my hair is styled exactly to my expectations and the customer service is always outstanding!! Today I visited Maria Grazia Salon for their newest treatment,Nano Keratin Straightening system as I have frizzy unruly hair and my results blew me away! Not only has this treatment left me with impeccable results,my hair being so smooth and tame and a texture like no other,and my hair so lovely and shiny and the greatest condition it has ever been in after regular straightening and heat and colour treatments.I have also left with £90 worth of products which are included in my Nano Straight cost,to ensure my after care for my hair is to a professional standard which is easy enough to carry on in the comfort of my own home. The value for money is outstanding and has definitely set the bar with my standard of styling which I know I can only find in the beautiful Maria Grazia Salon. Thank you so much Maria!

Wonderful friendly staff that really know their stuff! Love how they are honest and do t let you get wrapped up in fashion gimmicks. They hairdressers give sound advice and means you can trust them with your precious hair. They listen to your needs and take care of you accordingly! A little pricey but you get the quality of the service in return. The massage chairs in the wash area are a bonus..

I saw Athina for balayage and a blowdry. I had previously had my hair coloured approx 1.5 years ago but hadn't maintained it so my hair needed some TLC. I booked a consultation with Maria who explained to me the kind of thing I would need to achieve the look I wanted. She answered all my questions and managed to book me in for the following week. On the day I was welcomed into the salon by Athina and she got to work on the balayage after I showed her some pictures of what I wanted and she had explained the process. I then had my hair washed, toned and treated with a mask (I had the fibreplex treatment with my colour which I highly recommend). I was under the heat lamp during my toner and mask which was so relaxing. Athina then styled my hair to perfection. I would highly recommend this salon and will be back. All my questions were answered and the service was excellent.

The ladies at the salon were nice, however the delivery of the services booked were quite disappointing and thus I left the place somewhat unsatisfied. My bookings were for:- full-head hair colour, cut and a blow dry. In respect of the colour, although it did come out a lot darker than requested, I understand that it is not always possible to get the desired result. However, the process to getting the colour was quite rough. I feel like the staff need to be less heavy handed especially when pulling the hair whilst applying the colouring. Also, the lady that washed my hair perhaps needs to receive training on how to wash a customer's hair without getting their back and face wet? This was potentially due to a lack of attention and constantly looking elsewhere? This could've undeniably been easily avoided as I have never come out of any other salons in such a state. In regards to the side cut and straight cut I had requested for, I did feel as though I could've easily achieved this despite not being a professional myself. It does not actually blend and it is not wholly straight. Lastly, I am the most disappointed with the blow-dry I received. It was less than standard as I was left with frizzy hair. Usually I leave other salons with volumised straight or curly hair - according to preference. But instead of asking for my choice of preference- the lady proceeded with drying my hair straight- potentially because she was running late for another appointment. Paying for a service where choice is not acknowledged let alone appreciated is quite worrying. In total, I paid £101.00 which was quite cheap. However, despite the cheap service, I am not sure if it was even worth it. I did not initially voclaise this at the store just because the staff were generally nice and I felt awkward criticising as such. Hope they take this constructive criticism on board.

After being recommended to visit here by numerous people, I booked in, and I was not disappointed. I am super awkward, especially when it comes to things like sitting in front of a mirror getting my hair done. The team were so friendly and quickly made me feel incredibly comfortable. The measures they have in place in terms of infection control are stringent and reassuring that you are in safe hands. Your temp is taken upon arrival, you are kept at a safe distance, and everyone is wearing PPE. As for my hair, I love it. I went in with a hair looking like a blocky lego figure and Alice, the stylist who worked on it completely transformed my style. I actually like looking at my hair now! So for that, I thank you, Alice. Also, thank you to the team here for making me feel so comfortable & welcomed. 100% recommend giving these guys a visit, I promise, you won't be disappointed.

Maria, you're an absoulte miracle worker! It all started a year ago, when i decided to home bleach my long beautiful hair....the nightmare began. My hair broke every day after showering and brushing that i was left with hair so devastating i didn't want to look in the mirror or go out. I was mortified and so embarrased. 12 months on and i knew it was time to do something about it. After researching a few hairdressers i came across Maria Grazia Salon's website which looked so professional i instantly called for an appointment. Maria and the team were incredible. I was so nervous as i knew I'd be losing most of my hair. The ladies were so accommodating i instantly felt comfortable! Unlike any other hairdresser i have been too, Maria talked through all stages of cutting and styling my hair, making sure i was okay the whole time. She listened to what i wanted and advised what was possible and instead of hacking my hair off she actually saved it! I am inlove with my short hair after getting such lovely responses that i revisited Maria a few weeks later to go even shorter.
