Chanelle has been an excellent hairstylist and made my salon experience an enjoyable one. I requested a honey blonde balayage treatment which she delivered to a very high standard. She kept me well informed on the treatment, process, and aftercare to promote optimal health for my hair. During my patch test and consultation, Chanelle took the time to ask questions and fully understand what effect and end result I was hoping to achieve, something I loved and appreciated. She also made the effort to go through the entire process, step-by-step, which put me at ease and left me with confidence in her abilities. If you wish for a fun, delightful, and fulfilling salon experience, then I definitely recommend here!

I visited on Thursday (17/05/18), and had my hair coloured and cut and can honestly say they did a great job (as always). Heather, the stylist, seems to know exactly what I want and delivers every time. Would definitely recommend this salon, even just to have a consultation as they certainly know what they are talking about. Very happy again!!

I had a brilliant experience with my texturizer treatment after about a decade of only braiding my hair myself. The hair dresser was awesome brilliant customer service and I wish I could go everyday for that slick & soft look I got from just the cut and blow dry.

What can I say, from start to finish I had an amazing experience at this salon. The owner is a lovely irish lady extremely accommodating. After visiting another salon for the best part of the year and being wholly disappointed on most occasions it was truly a breath of fresh air to find this salon. I called at very short notice to do a patch text to have my hair colour but nothing was too much and the owner accommodated all my requirements. Then I wanted my hair done on a day they don’t open but the owner was happy to fit around that issue too! This was all prior to my actually hair appointment so I was feeling positive regarding the outcome. The colour and blow dry was fab. Luckily a woman named Kat works there who knew me previously from another salon and knew exactly how to describe the colour I have. The lady who did my hair did it to perfection. I haven’t had a blow dry last for 7 days ever in my life I’m 33. This blow dry was fab colour was fab products amazing and as for the service it’s unmatchable in Birmingham and that’s the truth. Went in for kerastraight treatment and the result is incredible to say the least. My hair is so much more manageable and looks great too. Kat is an amazing hairdresser and explained each step of the process to me, answering my questions as we went along and making sure I was comfortable. She’s great company and made the 4 hours go by so quickly. The salon is easily accessible and has a homely vibe which really does make a difference. Thank you so much to Kat and the team!

I’m honestly so happy with my hair - it feels and looks great and all my family love it too. My hairdresser wasn’t feeling very well but still came in just for me. She did an incredible job. She knew her stuff - answered all my questions and explained everything she was doing at every step of the way. I felt confident in her which can be hard when you have Afro hair and have had bad experiences in the past. I also had such a lovely day with both my hairdresser and the manager. They were so lovely - made me feel at ease and really comfortable. We had a good laugh and some great conversation! It was smiles all round.

I had a great experience here. I came in for a full head of highlights and Heather done my colour perfectly. I was looking to go for a more natural look and she really done a fantastic job. All staff were so friendly and I would highly recommend this salon over any other in Birmingham. I have been to many "big name" salons and never been satisfied with the colour technique. Booked for a blow dry for natural afro hair and colour consultation . The salon was very accomodating (had a partition on request) and a nice outlook. Loved the Mizani products used. Fantastic costumer service. Channel was hilarious, gave so much advice and took great care of my hair. Highly recommended

I recently had my box braids done at this salon and they sent in a specialist to do it for me called Monique. She did a fantastic job from start to finish! She made sure to braid my hair to the amount of packets I could afford. She also prioritised the front of my hair do as a precautionary measure. The end result is the best box braids I've had done! Neat with secured ends and tidy edges, and not uncomfortably tight either. I paid £80 in total with the first £20 being paid in advance as a deposit. Monique was very efficient and quick, and so polite. She also does crochet braid and weave. She clearly knows her craft and will be going back for these styles in the future. Definitely recommend! Josie greeted me when i walked in and honestly it was such a lovely welcome, i felt at ease right away, then Kat; who was my stylist, came chatted to me about what i wanted/liked and took on board everything i said, this lady definitely knows what shes doing an amazing cut and colour, exactly what i asked for and a good sense of humour meant no awkward silences Lol! Between Josie and Kat i felt like i was with good friends and enjoyed every minute of my time here, i will 100% be back!! Friendly, welcoming staff who take time to talk to you about your options and do a thorough assessment of your hair needs. You can walk in for a chatt but you need to book for treatments . Booked a treatment and well well... I got more than I expected and very pleased. In this day of lots of afro-hair care products and lots of DIY YouTube videos, not many people visit professionals. I highly recommend this saloon to all Afro- Caribbean women. Not only do you get a detailed, unrushed 1:1 service but you also get extra help on how to look after your hair at home. Well worth it and saves you money in the long run. I am very pleased with my hair as I thought it was ruined beyond repair but came out with a new look(kept my hair after all as I was thinking of the chop!) and a great lesson on hair care!!

I got a deal on groupon for an underarm and Hollywood/Brazilian wax in Beauty by Yasmin. Yasmin is such a kind spirited person, she was quite careful and quick with the process and did distract me from the pain with light conversation. I would deffo recommend Yasmin if you’re looking for a good waxing in the Birmingham city centre.
