⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best barbers in brum! Mary is a legend and her cuts are 10/10. Her customer service is impeccable and she makes you feel comfortable and welcome during your visit. This is what every barbers should aspire to be. I have been coming for just over a year now since I’ve moved to the area and I will be coming as long as physically possible!

Having tried any amount of so called Turkish Barbers in Moseley and Kings Heath that do 1 style of haircut and do it badly, I tried Mankind. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else now. Mary and her team are fantastic. The place has a great feel to it with the rustic benches and mirrors. There is a real great community feel to it aswell, helped probably by the fact that Mary seems to remember every customer she has and will always have a good chat while she cuts your hair in just the way you want. They’ve also done our little toddlers hair a few times now even staying open a few minutes longer to give us time to get there. We love it. Can’t recommend Mankind enough!

I’d been struggling to find a barbers that didn’t specialise exclusively in short back and sides and a friend recommended Mankind to me. I was pleasantly surprised - intimate and inviting interior and super friendly staff member (Mary) who listened to what I wanted and delivered. Very happy with my cut and will definitely be back - my new favourite place to get my hair cut! Excellent!

Brilliant independent barber shop! You’ll not find better in Kings Heath. I’ve been using ManKind for the last 4 years. The hair cuts are always spot on (never had a bad one) and they’re very reasonably priced. Unlike some, I quite like to chat with people face to face and not on social media so being able to have a good old chin wag with Mary and the team is a real pleasure.

I've been having my hair cut here since it opened. My hair cut is always good and reasonably priced too. Mary is always friendly and remembers all repeat customers and asks about things you discussed the previous time. There may be other places that cut hair in Kings Heath but this is the only one I need to know about!

I’ve always had a fear of hairdressers (odd, I know :-) So was very pleased to find Mary at Mankind over 16 years ago when I moved to Moseley. She’s always friendly, talkative and smiling which makes the experience a pleasant one. Rather than living just around the corner, I now live several miles away, but still make the effort to travel there for every haircut. Stories and chat is not limited to holidays, although we both like them. There’s also talk about her gorgeous dog and some cracking funnies too. Great haircuts too, obviously! Would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone!

Went here the other day for the first time after much deliberation over which new barbers to try out after moving to south Birmingham. I was not disappointed! It was a short wait with one person in the queue before me on a Thursday at 12ish, and as my hair was being cut I was put at total ease by the atmosphere and some interesting conversation. Been coming here since the roads were cobbled and I don't have a bad word to say. Clean, Friendly, competitively priced and the hair cuts are always spot on! Mary who is the oil of the machine always has a kind word to say and always asks after my family. Old school friendliness in the confines of a modern barbers. It's gone through some changes of recent and these have only improved the look and feel of the establishment. If you haven't already tried it then next time your Barnet needs a trim get yourself down to Mankind.
