Reviews of The Clip Bar barbers
U. H.Moved to Solihull not too long ago and then we hit the lockdown so barbers were shut.
After some google searches for local barbers I found The Clip. I booked an appointment (atm she only does booking I believe) off the back of the really good google reviews.
The shop is nice and clean. It has a nice modern feel and Anita is very welcoming.
You can definitely tell that Anita has a lot of experience in barbering because my haircut was neat and tidy. She also helped me find a product that I never knew existed! Didn't know that a styling product in the form of powder even existed.
What really stood out to me was that she takes her time. Most barbers are really fast and IMO not only is it uncomfortable, it also takes away from the experience.
Will definitely be coming back!

T. H.Anita , went above and beyond to sort out my 12 year olds hair , he has sensory issues. His hair was in a rather bad state , knots, long and damaged . Combined with a undiagnosed scalp condition .He hadn't had it cut for 2 years . His two younger brothers , had finally found a barbers they love and will only go here now. We where first given advice on how best to treat his hair to prepare for a cut , followed by superb advice on how best to treat his scalp condition , it was great to receive professional advice. Anita kept reassuring my son , keeping him calm and checking he was happy . After a lot of hard work and dedication

An amazing, gentle , patient lady, who truly puts her heart and soul into her work , a unique barber experience like no other , the barber's has a lovely calm , spacious, friendly atmosphere, providing a first class professional service .We will never go anywhere else. I've tried various barbers over the years and although some have done better than others, I've always felt quite negative when it came to my hair. After a while I just came to accept that there wasn't a lot that could be done with it....
After checking reviews I tried Clip Bar, I am terrible with names but I believe Anita cut my hair and she is fantastic. I wanted something different and asked for some advice, Anita couldn't have done more for me with the care she put into everything!
I'll definitely return, very happy.

Had my hair cut here four times now and both people I have had cut my hair here have done it to perfection and will cut it exactly how you want it but aren't afraid to offer suggestions. But be warned it can get very busy on weekends as all the locals know that it's the best place to go!
P. M.Anita is a lovely women and does a brilliant cut every time. Spends her time on it to make sure it is perfect before leaving the shop unlike most chain shops in acocks green that are rushed. Ive been going to Anita for past 15 years now.
I. C.I have been a customer at the Clip Bar for over 15 years and despite a number of other good barbers in the area, I keep going back.
Anita and her staff always make you feel welcome. From the moment you step into the room you can be a part of whatever conversation is taking place, or you can just read the paper if you want to.
Weekends and holidays are the busiest periods (especially the day before children go back to school!), the longest I have waited is 45 minutes with 3 staff working.
Since becoming a Father I have also started taking my son, who is now 3. The staff are great with him and make him feel really comfortable around the scissors. He also gets a sweet treat at the end which helps!!
Price wise, there are cheaper barbers in the area, but you wont get the service or attention to detail that is provided here. Clip Bar has built its success on looking after its customers, which is why we keep going back.
