I always have such a lovely experience each time I visit Avery Salon. Katie the salon owner does a wonderful cut, colour and my hair extensions. I feel super confident with my new hair after suffering from hair loss a couple of years ago. I finally love my hair since having Katie do it. The location is perfect, the salon is beautiful, the refreshments are amazing and the other stylists who work there are super friendly, always ensuring I am well looked after. Would highly recommend :)

I had the most incredible experience at Avery Salon. Katie is incredibly talented and the team were all so welcoming and helpful. Popped in for some advice about my dry, damaged hair and decided to go for a keratin treatment. Max was able to fit me in the same day. Really good experience, hair now looks and feels lovely, and Max was very gentle while styling. Felt very welcome in the salon too, lovely friendly atmosphere.

It is only when you experience truly excellent service that you wonder how you ever got by before! I have frequented many of the most highly rated hairdressers in Brighton but I have never had as good a consultation as I have experienced with Selina at Avery. I have now had both a cut and a separate colour session with Selina and on both occasions her consultation has been thoughtful, considered and genuinely collaborative - and her work is excellent. All the team at Avery Salon are friendly and helpful, and Selina is an absolute gem!

Selina is a fantastic hair stylist and I would highly recommend her. I am always so happy with the way she has cut my hair and she has given me some great advice and tips to improve the condition of my hair as it was very dry. Whether you want inspiration for a new style or have an idea of the hair cut you want Selina is amazing! She makes you feel totally at ease and ensures that you have a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The salon is a lovely calm environment and Selina, Katie and Max are always so welcoming.

Beautiful new salon in Brighton. I went to Avery Salon yesterday and had a brilliant experience with Kate cutting my hair. I felt looked after from the moment I arrived, being given a coffee whilst I waited & my belongings stored away. I soaked in the sunshine by the window - the salon itself is light & airy, thoughtfully designed with pockets of plants dotted around. After having had my hair washed upstairs, we talked through my hair & what I wanted. What really made a difference was having a hairdresser who really listened to you & gave me honest advice. I didn't realise how much I had neglected my hair before! The hour sped by and I was left with a wonderful new haircut & a spring in my step. Thanks very much Kate!

Finding a good all round hairdresser is not easy and especially when you haven't got the best of hair. I suffer from spouts of alopecia, fine thinning greasy hair and I struggle to find a hairdresser that can advise me with a great colour and cut that actually suits me and is good for my hair. Kate is all about treating the hair to get the best out of it. she's amazing with colour and has finally got my hair back to a beautiful shine it once had. She listens, is gentle and understanding of your needs, is up to date with style and uses the best products, I have a knowledge and a basic hairdressing background and it I would definitely say she is the best in the business, and I am so happy and lucky she's come from London opened a beautiful stylish salon in Brighton. can't praise her service enough.

My go to place for all things hair! I’ve followed Max for years and he always makes me go from drab to fab! A few years ago he saved my hair after a bad dye job, he has so much knowledge on everything hair and the products, he helped find the right products for me to strengthen my hair and keep it looking it’s best until my next visit! He listens to my ideas and makes sure I’m happy, he doesn't mind my indecisiveness when one appointment I want to be light and the next I want to be dark, he always makes sure I walk out feeling my best self! Finding a hairdresser that gets you can be difficult but I’ve found mine and he’s brought me to the most wonderful Avery! The salon is so beautiful and very welcoming! It’s very calming, clean and airy. Makes me forget I’m in the middle of Brighton and haven’t just jetted off to Ibiza for the time I’m there, just the perfect little escape we all need! Absolutely nothing to fault, a great experience from start to finish and I can’t wait for my next pamper session!

First haircut in a salon for several years…. Really good cut and a stylist(is that the correct terminology) that listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted but also gave honest feedback about what I thought I wanted…..this fine balance between ‘knowing best but managing the customer’s expectations in a diplomatic natural style worked for me!!!!! If I go to a salon again I will definitely go back! One annoyance….. I don’t do cash and so couldn’t tip!!!!! Sort it out! 😁
