Came for the weekend and tried the salon as needed my hair colour done. I was pleasantly surprised with the results and staff was so friendly and helpful. Advised me on styling and aftercare and offered some product which are amazing. If i wasn’t living in London your salon would certainly became my regular.

I always ask for Ana as she’s brilliant! Most recently had Balayage package & love the results. Ana always talks through what I want & gives her expert advice as to what would work best & I always leave pleased with the results. Highly recommended!

Cannot fault any of the services and the staff are lovely! Slightly longer wait than expected but they let you go off for a wander then call you when ready. I had a full head tint with cut & blow dry and was really happy with the results. Marcia is a true pro.

I had my hair done today at Cellys Brighton by Hajrie, I had balayage and a cut! Hajrie really took her time and really listened to what I wanted! I really couldn’t be happier with my hair! Very busy but always make time to fit everyone in. At times the hairdressers seem curt but in fact they're very busy and doing their best to fit everyone in and do a good job! I go each week and find them all very pleasant and professional and the place is kept clean! Ive seen them do wedding hair,extensions and coloring and all looked really good!

Been going here for over 10 years until last year and was always fine with the 'cheap but cheerful' service. But the best, long-term staff seem to have been leaving at alarming rate for a while now - which is not a good sign. No reservations, which was ok, but the waiting times have now become unacceptable for me as prices have crept up steadily over last 2-3yrs. Shame. What was once a reasonable standard, great value salon has totally lost its USP. There are now several other hairdressers offering same or much better service for equivalent prices, where you can walk-in or pre-book appointment and get what you want because the staff understand English.

Been here twice so far. The girls did amazing jobs with my hair. Definitely going back again. The prices are great and you get exactly what you ask for. They also have a loyalty card which gives you £12 worth of free service on your 10th visit!

Fantstic! I have been going there for years and now have a favourite hairdresser. Yes you do have to wait for a while at times but it is so cheap compared to some other salons but they're hairdressing is wonderful! All experts in their own right.

At Celly's you will get an outstanding service for a small price. The staff are incredibly skilled and creative, and I am always impressed by how much attention they pay to their clients. Worried about C-19? Don't worry they have measures in place to keep you safe during the pandemic. You may have to wait a while so bring a book, read a book or meditate. The wait will be worth it! This place is perfect for people that can appreciate what this business offers. Yes, there's a long waiting time. No, Toni and Guy aren't cutting your hair. BUT, your hair is cut to a very high standard for a very reasonable price and you get it washed after! What more could you ask for? Oh and the staff have always been lovely to me.

I try and make sure Laura cuts and colours my hair, but to be honest all the people that work there have done a lovely job. I have blonde highlights and I keep it really light. My hair has never been in better condition because I have the highlight package with olaplex. My hair is naturally tight coils and I find it difficult to find a stylist that can cut my hair and make sure the shape is good once its dry. For anyone with a similar texture to me- I have had a 100% success rate with Laura in the year that I have discovered her! I used to go to Toni&Guy for my cut and colour but now I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Laura is a darling. Its not that I always had happy happy experience with Celly's Brighton. Many times I visited and returned home without doing nothing. Couple of weeks ago, I waited more than an hour & was still after 4 & left the place sweating not to come again. Being a super moody person, I had to shop veg next to Celly's & just dropped to see how many are waiting. NO ONE! I'm the next. Sent my veg shopping to hell and waited there. I got LAURA! Only she knew me my patience! I did 22 foils highlight. She was excellent. She was amazing! She was so caring! I am grateful to her for such wonderful job done! Thank you Laura. If I ever come back, It would be for you only 🥰🥰

Really good cut for amazing bargain price (£14!!) - had similar quality cuts or £45. No added extras like tea/coffee, no posh surroundings, but skilled hairdresser who was also interesting and funny. Def recommend

Went in to get my waist-length hair cut short to a pixie cut. It was done by Serena, and she did a brilliant job! I've never been happier with my hair than I am now, especially given that it was only £9.90. 5 stars!

My son ONLY goes here for his haircuts, at 22 years of age he has been to many places before Celly's. He raves about the place, yes there is a long queue, no you don't get offers of coffee or tea but what on earth are people expecting in a very busy no-booking needed salon??? He has had maybe only had the same girl do his hair 3 times, but the other women there who have also done his hair ALL were very friendly. They had him laughing and chilled out in no time! He had one women who was quieter but she was concentrating and tired and she was still very friendly, attention to detail and provided him with exactly what he wanted. His favourite hairdresser in there does his hair if he see's her, she remembers even the last convo they had! Now that's impressive in a fast passed place like that! It's busy so bare in mind these girls are often just rushed off their feet and tired? He has never complained only come back VERY happy, often he has been stressed out one there and come back after a good chat and a laugh with one of the hairdressers in there and is a changed person! He is very picky about his locks so if he recommends this place then trust me it's got to be pretty dam good. It use to be £9, now £11. Despite the busy traffic of people entering their doors, the non stop on their feet job they still spend ages politely, friendly, caringly making sure you are happy with your cut. They also give plenty of helpful great advice. before, during and after. As stated above he is a 100% satisfied. His mother decided to even give it ago, they explained they about the skin patch test which she happily obliged knowing this is common practice in any good salon and they gave her the time for the next day that she could return from and have it coloured. They were honest about the colours and condition and what was best but still would do what she would prefer - no pushing just good honest advice. She was very happy, had a haircut whilst there and loved it. She also would't go any place else if you paid her now lol. 5 Star rating without hesitation!
