The whole experience was professional with a premium feel. A nice environment; clean lines, great lighting and added extras such as a massage chair when having your hair washed. My stylist was polite, chatty and very helpful when discussing what I was looking for. I took advantage of their 50% colour sale and on the recommendation of the stylist went for a toner. I am thrilled with the ash blonde result.

I have been using Headmasters in Brighton for several years and have always found the staff friendly and professional. The salon is nicely presented with a welcoming, modern and premium feel. I have used various stylist over the years who have all been of a high standard but my current stylist, Ryan, is exceptional. He is very skilled and takes his time paying close attention to detail. Ryan is able to cut my hair in such a way that retains it shape right up to my next appointment around 8 weeks later. He is very personable, always keen to have a chat and makes you feel at ease whilst being professional at all times. I would highly recommend Ryan and Headmaster Brighton.

I went to Headmasters today for the first time, and I can say with certainty it won’t be the last time! I had my hair washed and styled by Ryan who surpassed my expectations. The store itself was very clean and designed beautifully. The staff were all very pleasant, especially my stylist, Ryan. Ryan was very friendly and easy to talk to, which is rare for me, since I’m quite shy. He displayed a high degree of professionalism and knowledge about hair styling. So I’m quite new to headmasters , I come to see Ryan around 8 months ago and I’ve been back every 8 weeks ever since and would not go any where else again! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my hair the first time he done it. Ryan is a brilliant hairdresser. I have very thick Italian hair which is frizzy and I'm also growing my greys out. Ryan has given me a brilliant (highly technical) graduated bob so that my hair can be short whilst growing the greys out. I'm not used to short hair at all, but this style looks glamorous on me. He is very clever and you never feel stressed with him! His head massage at the basin is incredible too! Ask for Ryan if you want a modern and beautiful cut.

I was staying in Brighton for a few days and really wanted to get my hair done and I’ve chosen headmasters based on Google maps reviews. Ryan was assigned to my appointment and after sharing what I’m looking for, he suggested the best way to achieve and BOOM!!! I call it RYAN MAGIC. His balayage technique and experience, he successfully made my Asian hair look so good. I’m normally a bit scared if a hairstylist knows how to work with Asian hair but that is clearly not Ryan’s problem. His great personality and service are as fantastic with his skills. Thank you Ryan! Oh, I now remember the reception person told me to sign up for VIP membership to get discount for appointments during the week but I totally forgot to show my membership…🙈 The experience I had at headmasters was great regardless! Highly recommended.

This was my first time at the Headmasters Brighton and Ryan did an absolute outstanding job doing my blonde highlights. My hair is very dry, stubborn, heavy. long and greying. Headmasters have transformed it, making me feel 10 years younger. You have to be patient and give a chance for your stylist to understand and, if given time over a period, they surely will transform it for the better. I’ve never felt it to be better even after constant colouring. Headmasters offer experts to advise and work on achieving the results you want. Brilliant !!!!

Ryan did a fantastic job of my hair, it was exactly what I wanted - I’m so happy with the results. My hair had gone quite dark during lockdown without highlights for so long. I’ve been seeing Ryan since the salon reopened in April and he has being doing a great job with my hair. This time I asked to go even blonder so he did a full head of highlights with a toner. I now have fresh and bright highlights and some lovely texture through the front of my long hair. Thank you so much Ryan!

Perfect Service! I went into Headmasters in Brighton as I wanted to donate my hair to the Little Princesses Trust, and I really respect that they offer free cuts for hair donations of 12 inches or more. I was quite nervous about the drastic chop but equally also nervous about getting a haircut during a pandemic, but Ryan was very friendly and professional, and he really put my mind at ease with a clean, smart cut. I barely recognise myself but I really like the change and glad that my hair can be used for such a good cause. Definitely recommend Ryan and Headmasters for anyone else who is looking for a safe, post-lockdown cut.
