Really great service on my visit today. Such friendly and kind staff, especially Shelby and Wayne. Having autism they make me feel comfortable which helps reduce my anxiety, I really trust in them and feel safe in their hands. Wayne is meticulous throughout my hair cut, always does a lovely job and really pleased with the colour and cut end result. I would highly recommend having your hair cut and/or coloured at Toni and Guy Brighton

Today, I had my hair coloured by Steff and first of all, I have to say, what a lovely, friendly lady she is. I had the most wonderful conversation with her whilst she coloured my hair to perfection. Throughout my time in the salon I was treated warmly by all staff and felt completely pampered. Additionally, the charming lad who gowned me up and the young girl who washed and massaged my head were fantastic too. Thank you so much for a wonderful, hair colouring experience.

The Friendly and attentive experience I would expect from Toni and Guy and this was no different. My stylist Andrew provided me with what I wanted, and long term advice for my hair. The pampering was top tier along with a glass of wine to enhance the experience. A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it!

There’s a very good reason I have been travelling for 1&1/4 hours each way, over almost 15 years to have my hair done here. Could have made life a lot easier and cheaper by going nearer to home.. BUT... on every single visit I’m listened to, welcomed (dog included) like an old friend. Amazing staff and ALWAYS leave feeling like a princess with her crowning glory. Shelby is perfection! If you describe what you want- she makes it happen. She understands exactly what you want, and you leave the salon exactly as you wanted to it look. She’s the best colourist I’ve ever found. Not only that, if you feel like talking she’s full of info and advice, but if you just feel like being quiet or shutting your eyes she’s goes with that too. I drive over an hour because I’m so happy with the colour and don’t have to talk about holiday stuff if you don’t want to!!

I have been going to Tony and Guy in Brighton, for more years than I care to remember, my Stylist, Will, is a miracle worker, he is the ultimate professional, he is kind, understanding, and knows exactly how to treat his clientele. He listens, gives advice and knows exactly what will work. I have never come out of there with the slightest feeling of dissatisfaction, always so pleased with the result. I cannot praise him highly enough.

Chelsea Lomas, is one of the best stylist that I have had the pleasure of receiving a cut from, in the twenty or so years that I have used T&G. Her artistry with the scissors has transformed my style, on a number of occasions. For me it is the friendship that she so easily forms with the client, that has lead me back to her time after time. 10/10

Chelsea always cuts my hair and she's lovely and friendly and does exactly what you ask for. I am about to undergo chemotherapy and had to ask for my hair to be cut short like my wig which was not easy to do. It always looks great. Thank You. I also worked with a friend of either Toni or Guy around 12 years ago. She was a founder with them of their African Charity. My boss, who was headmistress for a year of a Burgess Hill School, Sister Julia ( a nun) from Cobham- they did her hair too, it always looked good!

I came in a little while ago to get my colour done by Joshua, and for the price I paid it wasn’t overall worth it! He was nice to chat too, but at some points seemed very patronising towards me as well as others. He seems very good at what he does but I got a balayage done on my natural hair and it didn’t make much difference! I then got my hair washed by a young boy, with dark curly hair and an accent. He was lovely however he had an awful smell to him! I didn’t want to say anything to him or to anyone in case he overheard but it’s not pleasant to have someone lean over you for a while and smell very unhygienic. Overall my visit was quite pleasant, as I was looked after well by everyone within the salon and I had a lovely blowdry done by an Italian woman, but I’m not sure if I’d come back!

My stylist is Chelsea who is a very very good cutter. I am not particularly interested in the rest of the hype with Tony and Guy and all the flouncing around but the cut is excellent.

The only salon I trust with my hair in Brighton, Would recommend Ella for hair colour very lovely and professional...managed to turn my brassy hair into ash blonde and I love it! have been going there for over a year now amazing service and staff.
