I am so glad I followed our neighbours' recommendations and went to Adriano for my first proper post-covid cut. He is not just a barber, he is an artist. I left feeling I'd just had the best cut of my life, and that's a long time! He seemed to know instinctively what my hair needed and used all the tools of his trade to achieve it. And all the while we had a great chat about Italian food and cooking. I shall never go anywhere else.

I’ve been looking for a new barbers for a long time, having unsuccessfully tried several on Gloucester Road. I decided to give Adriano’s a go this time and I’m so pleased I did. What a lovely guy. It was a really chilled experience with good chat and all for a very reasonable price. Adriano listened to what I actually wanted, took his time and I came out with a great haircut. Unlike many other reviewers, I have known Adriano only a short time. I cannot describe how gutted I am to only have discovered Adriano's a year ago after a few years of mediocre cuts in Bristol, and now to be torn from this exceptional barber by moving abroad. This man is first and foremost a great barber, but he is also professional, friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. He's taken me in for a before opening cut on the day of my wedding, when I had only visited a few times previously. He convinced my long time Leicester supporting house mate that he has the most in depth Leicester City FC chat of anyone out there. I think that the reason Adriano gets the reviews he does is because he delivers great customer service - he works solo so that he builds rapport with his clients, and delivers consistent good quality cuts. Adriano, it was honestly a delight every time to hand you my money for the work you do and thank you for accommodating me on an important day. When I return to the UK for a visit, there is no other barber I will be heading to to sharpen up. All the best and good luck! K

Adi is just the best - not only is he an amazing barber, he's really professional, has a great work ethic, fantastic to talk to in a relaxing atmosphere. He always brightens your day and in the 8 years I've been coming here, I've always had a haircut I've been delighted with. He knows his stuff, gives great product and style advice, and it's even better now you can flexibly book an appointment online, which, when all this is rolled together makes it a difficult proposition to find the same elsewhere. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Bristol now!

I started going to Adriano's almost 7 years ago after moving to Bishopston. Great barber, excellent haircuts and always a friendly welcome. I moved to Wotton under Edge in April 2021 but I still come back to Adrian every 5-6 weeks for my haircuts. No-one else comes close.

Since moving to Bristol it took me a couple of years to find this place, I haven't looked back since. A professional of his trade and deals exceptionally with difficult hair. I have been going to Adriano's Barbering Lounge since the day it opened, and before Adriano had his own lounge, he cut my hair at his previous place of work too. Why do I keep going back to the same guy? Because he genuinely does cut hair the best. Let me explain... Before I found Adriano, when I had a cut, it was just a cut. Now, every time I leave his lounge I feel like a new man. Not once have I thought he could have done it any better. Despite the fact that he is not being the closest barber to where I live, it is still worth the traveling to see him. Hes always professional, but also very personal. This is a great mix that gives you confidence in his work and allows you to relax at the same time If you every get the chance to get a cut by him, you will know what I mean on your first visit to him. As an added bonus, if you are in line to get a cut, the TV is always on, whether it is sport or music giving you the chance to unwind on his comfy sofas.

Adriano is a great guy who has given me some of the most memorable haircuts. No matter how much of a struggle it is to communicate what it is I am looking for, he always has great intuition and I never leave disappointed. Unlike a lot of barbers/hairdressers on Gloucester Rd he isn't a fake nice guy, if he spots you in the street then he will most likely give you a nod. It's not easy for a guy to say how much he likes and appreciates somebody face to face, so I hope he reads this.

Having met Adriano at his Pops shop in Westbury-on-Trym many moons ago, I didn't hesitate in venturing further afield to Gloucester Road when ABL opened. Adi is a skilled barber, able to craft me whichever latest footballers hairstyle I wish to imitate! Not only that but he is a top bloke, always warm and welcoming, and someone I've considered a friend for a long time now. Pop in sometime and see for yourself! Unless you dislike Andrea Pirlo... best try somewhere else if that's the case.
