H.Amazing experience as usual. Have been customer for 6 years now. By far the best hot towel shave I ever had. Would not go anywhere else. Have very difficult haircut to cut. It's a samurai top knot. m.Great precision barbering, consistent in their delivery of quality haircuts. All 4 barbers are highly skilled, diligent and precise. I have been going for approximately 11 years, have even kept going since moving out of the immediate area almost 3 years ago (after disappointing results with 2 local barbers). Gets very busy at times, but due to there being 4 of them your wait is never that long.
The guys are high spirited and there is always a lot of humorous, light-hearted, good-natured banter. I saw one of the previous comments made reference to bigotry, but I have never found this to be the case in all the years I've used this establishment. I'm pretty sure that this must have been down to a genuine misinterpretation and / or contextual misquote.

B.hit and miss, went for a hair cut last month and was incredibly happy with it, was exactly what I asked for and thought I'd found a solid barber to use for my three years as a student in bristol and cost a pretty reasonable 12.90 (still isn't cheap when you're a broke student but is worth paying for a decent cut), come again a month later and it cost 6 pound more because on a friday the student rate doesn't apply and the haircut isn't really what I asked for and took about half an hour longer, so yeah if you're a student, don't try it of you need a trim on Friday-Sunday unless you have that trust fund :) £18.90 is a bit excessive in my view
