I have been coming to Charisma Hair and Beauty for 15 years to have my hair done and every time it’s wonderful. Every stylist is fantastic at their job so I’ve never felt like I have to go to the same person. They have helped me navigate the world of highlights over the last 2 years and I’m always thrilled with my colour every time. Subtle, beautiful highlights that make me feel confident. They are also wonderful cutting my daughter’s hair and made her feel safe and happy when she was nervous about having her hair cut. I have had my hair done here a couple of times. The most recent time was by a lovely lady named Kelly. She took her time to consult me properly to understand exactly what I wanted, she also gave her expert advice on what would work well for my face shape and skin tone. Really great attention to making sure the cut would be perfect for me! The cut and colour is gorgeous, very flattering and perfectly tailored to me. Will be back again soon!

I 100% am glad I booked in with Charisma after struggling to adjust to the idea of having to find a new hairdresser after moving to Bristol last year. Sam is an absolute star and always does an amazing job with my hair, making my ideas come to life and offering the best advice when it comes to how to cut, colour and style my hair as well as talking me through products that she thinks would help to maintain my hair until my next appointment. Sam also makes you feel at ease and it’s always a pleasure to have a chat with her whilst she is doing my hair, with never an awkward moment. Hayley does my hair and she is absolutely phenomenal! I wouldn’t dream of trusting anyone else with my hair. I can be quite fussy and often like to bombard her with questions, but she’s always incredibly patient and informative, and when I stress about being a pain she says it’s fine, as a persons hair is their crown, and it’s nice that I’m so invested in taking good care of my hair. She’s also great to chat to and I never feel awkward with her or the other staff, as they’re all so lovely. Salon is super clean and the staff are very detail oriented and pride themselves on being good at what they do and getting the best results. Highly recommend ❤️

I have lived in Bristol for 6 years now and have always gone back home to Durham to get my hair done, having never really found a salon in Bristol I really loved. I finally decided it was time to take the plunge and find someone new - which is always a bit of a daunting task. Kelly was absolutely amazing - she listened to exactly what I wanted and I absolutely love the final result, I wanted a really natural blonde balayage and that's exactly what she achieved, my hair looks so much brighter and fresher. She was good at providing suggestions with the cut, too and I fully trusted her expertise when it came to cutting in an extra bit of fringe and layers to give it volume. I went for the olaplaex treatment with the colour as well as the shampoo / conditioner and my hair feels so soft this morning. Sorry I didn't catch her name, but the junior apprentice was so lovely and I even got a head massage! I've been to several other hairdressers in Bristol across the years (even those a lot more expensive!) and haven't been fully satisfied with the end result, but I will definitely be a regular at Charisma. I got 10% off as a new customer and they even have a loyalty scheme, which is a nice touch. Am keen to try the beauty side next and planning to pop in to get my toes done. Thank you ladies!

This is my first experience on going to Charisma hair and beauty studio. I got Balayage and a hair cut done. I can honestly say this is the best place I have ever been to! This review is long overdue as I visited this salon for the first time 5/6 weeks ago. Asia took care of me from start to finish, helping me pick out a colour between photos I had brought in. She executed the color * e x a c t l y * I was incredibly impressed. I went from an outgrown balayage to a Cherry Coke colour and loved it. Also loved the cut. The salon itself was clean, their covid precautions made me feel totally comfortable being there, and everyone was very friendly and professional. I’ll definitely be visiting them again when I’m able, Asia is going to be my go-to now.

Emily was amazing she was sweet kind and informative. I now wear a great hair system and have loads more confidence. The team in the main salon are lovely ladies, everyone is welcoming and friendly, they act like a family and as soon as you enter your treated like family too. Prices are great and the products amazing. If you want a fun, friendly modern salon with top stylist and products, a good pamper with drinks included in a modern beautiful salon this is the place. Finally had my hair cut and coloured after 5 months!! Lisa is my stylist and she's done me proud. The new system is to wait at the door, hand sanitiser dispensed and your temperature taken. You need to keep your face mask on whilst in the salon. So you will need to speak louder! Inside, the salon has been changed to allow for social distancing. Upstairs is now part of the salon and your treatment too. Disposable aprons and towels assist in keeping everyone safe. The staff are wearing full face shields and disposable aprons. But despite all these measures, which obviously took a lot of time and effort to put in place, the friendly relaxed atmosphere is still there. To Becky and all the staff I wish you the very best for a successful future during these difficult times.

I took a spontaneous jump last month and got a last minute appointment for a re-style. I went in with long hair half way down my back.... and I came out with a beautiful bob. Emily was so friendly and knowledgeable and she made me feel at ease. After the consultation I knew that I wanted Emily to do my hair extensions so I booked in as soon as I could. I've just had my hair extensions fitted today and I cannot explain how happy I am. They look so natural, you literally cannot see the bonds at all. I've had non stop compliments all day! I am a regular customer at Charisma and I always walk out feeling glorious! Molly often puts olaplex treatment on my hair (which is a miracle!) and gives a lovely head massage. Kelly cuts and blow dries my hair for me and it always looks and feels soft and shiny with a great bit of bounce. The staff there are all really friendly helping towards the happy and relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend to anyone!

Was very busy when I went and the poor guy hadn't even had a lunch break but didn't complain. I am a regular customer and think they should consider free fringe trims between cuts., but that aside I love going and will return.

Thank you all so much for fixing my huge mistake. I used a home dye and it turned grey, I asked every hairdresser on kingswood high street for help to return to normal . most of the hairdressers wanted to give give bleach bath, that would of snapped my hair, and only Charisma took a stand test! Charisma were very honest and gave me the low down on my hair, They sorted it out for me, and now looks better then ever. the service was great, and had a lovely head massage ! These people are amazing if you have fine hair or not a lot of it they can transform you . My hair was really fine on top that you can see my scalp and I was receding on the sides . It made me depressed and lost all confidence would not look in the mirror unless I had to or have photos taken . They made a hair system for me and it changed my life , my confidence is back and the old me is back I can’t stop looking at this person in the mirror. I am 62 years old but I know I look so much younger and the compliments I get now is amazing. Emily is literally a genius and a complete master of her art! She's made me feel like me again, after my hair started breaking off.
