Best barbers in Bristol. I've been using them for a fair few years now and found that Daniel, along with his team of talented individuals sets the bar of quality. They are hardworking and patient with their customers, honest and take great care to ensure expectations are met. This is why I return at every opportunity.

As a woman with short (and curly!) hair I've found it difficult to find somewhere affordable which can also cater to my hair type. A lot of places get it wrong, make the cuts too masculine or do not shape correctly for my face. I am so glad I found Dan's barbershop - it is absolutely fantastic. Dan's cuts are better than one would receive at most hairdressers, are incredibly stylish, and are a fraction of the price. The music is always on point and I have always felt incredibly at ease and well looked after. The whole team is very kind and the service is fab (and there is also a barbershop dog - cannot complain!). I go every six weeks and I've referred most of my friends (both men and women) who all now swear by it! Would highly recommend.

After having glorified buzz cuts with trimmers and razors for most of my life, I booked an appointment here on recommendation from a friend in preparation for my wedding. I made my first booking a couple of months before hand and went back a week before my wedding for a freshen up, this has definitely become my new barbers. Friendly staff, great location, they offer you a drink whilst you wait, and their work is excellent! Highly recommend!

Fantastic cut from Daniel! After recently moving to Bristol i've found it hard to find a decent barber. However, Daniel and his team were all so friendly and really helped in finding a style to suit my needs, 10/10 recommend! £15 student cuts are a great added bonus!!

Really great wash and haircut from Lucia today, she paid attention to what I asked and recreated some pictures I showed her really closely, adding lots of texture to my medium length hair. She also checked with me before doing anything 'risky' which I appreciated. Fran has also given me a great haircut in the past too

The best barber in Bristol. Always a great haircut with professional touches from Daniel. Small things like a drink offering to start and warm towel to end really elevate the experience beyond a simple hair cut. The knowledge and skill of the staff lead to consistently great results. People often comment how good the cut is, whenever I've been here. The reception is friendly and it's a great environment for learning how to look after your own beard and hair between visits.

First visited when I developed alopecia and these guys helped me figure it out, still going one year later and never been disappointed by the cut. Sam is an expert at fading and beard trims, I always have a good time when I'm here. Drinks on offer and dog friendly - a haircut, good chat, beer in hand and a french bulldog in your lap, what more could you want!

A really great experience. I hadn’t been to a barber in 8-9 years, instead having grown it quite long and cutting it myself. Trying something new was a bit intimidating but it was clear right off that Remo knew what they were doing and I got exactly what I I wanted.

Quite possibly the best haircut experience I've ever had. Friendly staff, used PPE properly, and you even get your own clean "welcome packet" on arrival. Daniel was excellent and his dog is a goober. Highly recommend.

It’s always hard to go somewhere new but had a great haircut in a really nice barbershop. Barber really went into detail on what I wanted and didn’t rush to get the result. Competitively priced, had a standard haircut for £20. Will become my regular.

The best barbers I’ve been to and definitely the best in Bristol. I’ve been to loads of places where they ask what you want but then just get the clippers out and basically ignore what you’ve asked for and do a number 2 all over. These guys know what they’re doing and are always really friendly, plus you can get a beer whilst you’re there! I always get my hair cut by Fran and it’s always quality, but I know guys from my work that use the other guys here for their hair and they also think it’s class.

As a guy with long hair it is pretty difficult to find a hairdressers/barbers that can give you a decent cut. You either come out with a bob or a women's hair cut! However, Daniel Rymer's really know how to deal with men's long hair. The cut looks great, staff were all super friendly and it was really good value. Will definitely be back!

Changing hairdressers is a daunting prospect, however this was really easy. I booked an appointment with Lauren who is awesome, really nice haircut and loads of advice on how to keep myself looking presentable. Lauren is also upbeat, funny and nice to chat with - so you can't go wrong really.

Amazing! I have had the hair cut by Lauren and Francesca so far and sometimes you find your favourite, but both were excellent and were able to guide me through how I should have the hair done and the beard trimmed. Very happy with the end result and the price is incredibly reasonable (please don't put it up 😋😋).

Hair AND beard trim for those looking at reviews as many reviewers don’t state this and some barbers are ok on haircuts but not so good on beards. Anyway in the past I’d been messed around and had inconsistent experiences where you have walk in places with more than one barber. I booked with Daniel and he was brilliant, no aloofness just very engaging, he listened to what I said, made some really good suggestions and then got cracking...and boy is he a perfectionist. He did an outstanding job and my wife (who is a hairdresser with years of experience) let out a gasp when I went to meet her afterwards and said ‘finally you’ve got a good barber’ and she said this is hands down the best cut of hair and beard that I have ever had. He uses top drawer products and when finished there’s no paper tissue and quick blast of the blowdryer, it’s a proper heated towel. Atmosphere is cosy, staff were professional and not overwhelming their customers with endless conversation unless the customers wanted that, and finally small things but I was offered a drink twice which was great and the place is kept spotless. All in all I felt very relaxed and will be back regularly now. Thanks Daniel 👍

It has Lauren Spiller and frankly I don't trust anyone else with my hair anymore. The place is admittedly small but quaint as it's been decorated in an interesting combination which I'd call brick and gold. Good timely service and conversations you wish lasted longer than the appointments.

Founded November 2015, this stylish gents' barber shop punches far above its weight. Its team have come runner up in various London fashion awards for styling work competing against top salons: just examine the framed photos leading to the underground bar for examples of recently styled clients, including instantly-recognisable cover models and celebrities. The staff are skilled, knowledgable and friendly. Beneath the salon is a chillout area with a bar, sofas, wet shaving room and Xbox. A+.
