I've been going to Matts place for 7 years! The barbers there are awesome and truly top notch. I've now moved to the other side of Bristol and will still take two buses to get my hair cut there every 4-6 weeks.

I was a walk in and it's usually book an appointment but he fitted me in which was awesome obviously its covid rules which they have kept up (including face mask and hand sanitiser) which I think is good tbh book come in sit down no waiting or faffing around. the barber was friendly and haircut and beard was done quickly. got what I wanted and fairly priced and professional.

Tom gave my 9yr old son a great haircut today, whilst chatting to him about The Goonies and generally making it a fun experience for him. I have used Matt's Place a number of times now. Each time has been consistently good. I definitely recommend.

My daughter found this barber's to do her undercut. Tom put us all at ease and did a fantastic job. Her hair looks great. She is delighted with it. Matt cut my hair and beard. He did a thorough quality job.. Compared to my area its a little more expensive but well worth it. I'd recommend this barber's to anyone and will be using these guys again.

A decent cut at a fair price. Popular place so there can be a bit of a wait but nothing unreasonable. Apprentice/newer staff a little slower and need direction sometimes but you still walk away with a good cut. Will definitely keep going back

My regular barbers. Great cuts and very friendly staff but boy do you have to wait, easily over an hour. Would be great to start appointment bookings on certain days, day on the hour, 30 minutes cut time etc. But it's a great place for s hair cut.

I have been going to this barber shop for a few months now but my most recent visit left me feeling that I simply had to recommend this place. The guys have mastered the perfect balance between not making you wait too long but still given each person int he chair exactly the amount of time they need . The rest of the shop is kitted out with retro games consoles, TVs staging the latest music, and carries a sort of personality that you never find in barber shops. Matt himself proves that there is an art to cutting hair, and demonstrates a very refined skill when he does it. Would recommend this barber's to everyone far and wide.

Matts place is my regular place for a haircut and has been for over 2 years now, staff are always nice and friendly can get busy but that's because it's popular would defiently recommend I get a skin fade which is always done brilliantly, kids love it they as they have games consoles. 5 stars from me.👌

Brand new to the area but was told about matts place by a friend , when i arrived it was very busy but there was a lot to keep you and your kids occupied from computers to magazines and my fav the coffee machine , had my haircut by tom friendly chap and i received a good haircut that my wife appreciated would recommend
