Greg was really knowledgeable and helpful cutting and styling my hair. It’s was the first time it had been cut in 2 years and was a lot longer than I usually had it so his guidance and advice was very useful. He suggested some products and gave some useful tips to help keep it looking good.

I'm not sure where to start but let's do it by the door... Walking in and being treated to 3 smiling faces was a great start (Ellen, Greg and Seb). I then had the pleasure of Ellen cutting my hair, transitioning me from a man clinging on to the hair covering his bald spot to a fresh, shorter cut that has filled me with a lot more confidence in my appearance. Ellen was careful to listen to my problems and execute what I wanted in brilliant fashion. A true pro! I would recommend Shambarber to anyone in the Bristol area, they rock!! Cheers gang

Such a lovely experience at Shambarber :) Greg cut my hair into the most neat and (if I may say so) fashionable little bob! I feel so fabulous. Even with my face mask on, Greg managed so level it just under my chin perfectly! Also coming out of lockdown and being somewhat anxious, Greg and his colleague were so friendly and professional. I felt so comfortable and I'm looking forward to my next visit 😊❤

The Shambarber team are are a friendly and talented bunch and there is always a great vibe in there. I've been a regular customer for a while and the service is always first class, in fact last time I went in Steve offered to give my little boy (2) his first haircut which was a great moment!

I discovered this barbershop whilst on the way to work one day in stokes croft, and since then have never looked for another. The staff are friendly, outgoing, and the shop itself is unique compared to it's competitors nearby. When I went for my first haircut there recently,they accommodated for me despite their tight schedule, and bent backwards to provide a positive customer experience. Keep up the good work lads, and I will see you when my hair gets scruffy again!

Been a regular for a long time over the years and it is always somewhere I have felt comfortable going. Unfortunately the price of a men’s cut has just been creeping up and up and now with that my regular hairdresser has left I feel it’s time to find somewhere else for a haircut. However all the hairdressers are well qualified in their craft and easy to chat to. 3 stars just because it is expensive.

Been going to Shambarber for the past couple of months, can really rate the service. Satisfied with the cuts, and left looking sharp. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff - feels more like catching up with friends, thanks Ralph! Reasonable prices, offering student and NHS discount. Would recommend.

The best salon experience EVER, I've never enjoyed the rigmarole of the hairdresser. Its different in Shambabrer, its a really chilled ,yet fun environment and the team are all sound, not one bit of arbitrary small talk, just a bunch a very talented interesting people. Highly recommend for both Girls and Guys.

Took my little girl there today to have a small undercut with a heart cut in. Saw Jody @ Stokes Croft who did a fantastic job and was super nice. Stumbled across this little gem and very quickly decided I'd rather stump up a few more quid to be made to look good rather than going to a traditonal barbershop for a short back and sides. What I'm trying to say is that I'm not into styling my hair but I want it to look good. The Shambarber always gives me a pretty damn cool cut which makes me look noticably more attractive than when I get my hair cut elsewhere. That is all.

My office moved to the centre of town at the beginning of the year, so I needed a new place to visit on my lunch. I tried out Shambarbers first, and haven't looked back. Placed in the middle of my favourite bit of Bristol, Shambarber is one of the best haircuts I've ever had. The staff are always a good laugh and the tunes are always tops. The festival roots of this place are obvious, with the sound system usually pumping out some decent house tracks, with the odd dance classic thrown in. If you catch Steve in the right mood you might even catch a random old school track for good measure. My hair is pretty awkward, mainly because it's thick and curly, and I have full beard and Steve sorts me out every time with a great, tidy cut on both top and bottom of my face. The time spent in the chair is always a good time filled with banter and some great festival stories, both as a punter and organiser. Strongly recommend these guys for one of the best cuts in Bristol, I'll definitely be down there for my pre-glasto cut this week.
